Midnight Basketball with a Midnight Special

He's right; the purpose of these big "youth" gatherings in Chicago is to intimidate decent Americans, particularly white middle class Americans, to push us into the shadows and make us despair.
And Chicago's Bolshevik Mayor "Let's Go" Brandon Johnson blames a plethora of things for this:
"Naturally, Mayor Brandon Johnson — Mayor 6.6, as we call him — has an explanation. Like many progressive politicians, academics, and activists, he argues these incidents are rooted in a lack of opportunity, insufficient youth programming, inadequate "safe spaces,” lingering effects of COVID, poverty, mental-health challenges, and other social factors.
But who has controlled this city all along? Why hasn't the Mayor fixed this problem when he is so confident he knows the causes? If the kids are lonely and bored why doesn't the mayor set aside spaces where the kids can go and socialize? (Of course we all remember "midnight basketball" was supposed to be the solution to all our inner city problems back in the Clinton era. So why didn't it work? Why so many youths running amok in the streets>) Where are the youth programs? Hasn't he been the mayor; why didn't he allocate resources for such? Why is there lack of opportunity? Could it be he ran all the businesses out of town? Could it be these kids never learned any responsibility at all making them unemployable, and that because his ilk ruined the educational system and broke their families with welfare programs?
He's more like mayor 6.6.6 if you ask me.
This guy really gets it:
The tragedy is that many of the young people participating probably don’t fully understand the consequences of what they are doing. Teenagers have always tested limits. That’s one reason civilized societies created institutions that impose discipline and teach responsibility. Families did it. Schools did it. Churches did it. Community organizations did it. Police and juvenile courts did it, when necessary.
He forgot the military. There is a reason why the military recruits in colleges and even high schools, and likes 18 year olds; these kids need guidance and the military will remake them into soldiers, with a code of honor.
In fact a civilized society understands that children are savages by nature and must be taught decency and civility. Those are not natural characteristics. But the Left long ago flipped things on their head with the idea of the "noble savage" and that civilization was unnatural and if we rid ourselves of it "nature" would assert itself and people would become like angels. It is the system that makes bad people in this view. This is exactly what Marx meant when he said the state would "wither away" when Communism was established and nature would make a paradise on Earth. The basic assumption of the whole Liberal movement since the eighteenth century has been that Man is inherently good.
That is at odds with the Christian faith which preaches Original Sin. Man is NOT inherently good but evil and he must be taught to be good, something that does not come naturally and which is inculcated through a long, laborious, and often painful process.
Children are animals until they are taught not to be. Kids raised by wolves, for instance, behave just like wolves.
And that is what so many teenagers, especially the poor and usually black or Hispanic, are so prone to crime. It's fun and profitable and makes them feel good because they can show their bravery and strength, important qualities in a feral culture that admires ruthlessness and power.
Of course the one thing that all feral cultures despise is civility; they see it as an oppressor. But who is the oppressor? The gangster and trouble maker, that's who. That is the true tyrant.
The author mentions churches have lost influence. True. But I would argue it goes farther than that. Churches are often now the very source of the infection, excusing bad behavior under the guise of Christian forgiveness and the liberal brand of Christianity, which assumes the kids are good by nature and so the real fight is social justice. How many black churches in ghetto areas get involved in such things, in political rallies and marches and demonstrations? Many. And all that does is reinforce the idea that the kids are being abused by the system which simply asks them to act like civilized people and obey the laws in place for everyone's safety and security. But so many preachers instead fight against "the Man". I saw a lot of that from Christian pastors in Ferguson; instead of calling out the rioters they marched in solidarity with them.
Ferguson happened BEFORE Covid. So did most BLM riots.
He says:
Teen takeovers are not occurring in a vacuum. They occur against the backdrop of years of de-policing, de-prosecution, and declining accountability. When young people repeatedly see others avoid meaningful consequences, many conclude that the rules are optional.
He's right, although I would argue it is a vacuum that leads to this in the first place - a vacuum of leadership from those who are charged with keeping order in society. It is their leadership failure which left a void and the kids simply act out because they can. Anybody ever read Lord of the Flies?
That is what our inner cities have become.
At any rate that is just a quibble and not a particularly important one; the author (George Shay) understands this point. It's just a quibble about wording.
This is an excellent essay and one that everyone should read.

Walsh, a RiNO former Republican Congressman, is actually running a website teaching radical anti-ICE activists how to get around the law.
And it was he who ran this video of an interaction with a crazy white woman (CWW as we'll call 'em in future) and ICE agents she was blocking with her car.
Here is what Walsh is using as an example of "how to do it". You will note the woman is clearly interfering with the operation, not just observing and recording. She is physically blocking the officers and refusing to obey their lawful orders to move her vehicle.
Try doing that to the local police and see how far it gets you?
I remember some years bac police in a town (can't remember where) directed motorists to pull over and park in a no-parking zone. A meter maid came by and started writing tickets. The officer told her to stop because he had issued orders to the motorists. She went ahead and wrote them anyway. The cop arrested the meter maid to the roaring applause of everyone on the scene.
My point? Law enforcement has the authority to clear an area and you can't interfere. It's illegal and will get you arrested.
The video cuts off before we see how this turned out. I wonder; did the ICE agents have to arrest this Puta or did she eventually comply?
I hope they arrested her but I suspect Walsh would have shown that if it had happened that way.
Oh, did I mention Walsh was an Illinois Republican who lost his seat to Tammy Duckworth, then changed parties in 2025. He once ran for President against Trump and got, like -2% of the vote. He's now a loyal Democrat. In other words he's a social climber who goes where he thinks he will do best.
He now aids criminal behavior just to stick it to MAGA folks and the American People in general.
BTW Joe Walsh is no relations to the former Eagles member and rock star Joe Walsh, who has more sense than this. As for the other Mr. Walsh, he can't hide his lying eyes.

A Jury of our Peers?

More than was claimed. And these folks are passing judgment on American Citizens, who have a legal right to a "trial by their peers". How are aliens "peers'?

But that does not explain why approximately 75,000 noncitizens are being swept into the jury-summons process every year.
It also raises serious questions about the reliability of government databases used to administer elections and jury selection.
If they were summoned why should anyone think they wouldn't serve. The starting process is a failure.
The state says they ask the summonees to fill out an eligibility card which asks about immigration status and then again when they are being questioned in court. Does anyone think an illegal alien will tell the government he's an illegal? Ri-ight.
The Democrats built a massive fraud machine all over the country, one modeled after the Daly machine in Chicago or Tammany Hall, or what Dewey Long created in Louisiana. Democrats have long had experience building such, but they never had the cajones to try it nationally before. After the election of 2000 they pulled the trigger and now we are fighting a behemoth, a machine that can only be defeated with time and people like Trump in office. If just a kernel of this is left when he leaves and we get a Democrat it will grow back, like a wart that is cut off but not burned away.
If I were a defense attorney I would look at filing appeals for my clients who were convicted based on this. Find one illegal alien who served on the jury and you have a mistrial.

Unbearable Pole Dancer

Stupidity always carries the death penalty, be it for humans or animals.
I feel sorry for the bear but it had no earthly reason to climb up the pole in the first place. (BTW the fact a bear can get up a pole like that should scare the bejeebers out of us - there is no place to hide from such a critter if you get on it's bad side.)
The interesting part of the story is that 911 was rude to the first caller and never dispatched Fish and Wildlife to rescue the unbearable creature.
I suspect this bear was a stripper in a previous life. It certainly was attracted to a tall pole for SOME reason!
In a different world this would have made all the late night comedy shows, but in our glum, industrial modern age with political correctness stalking our every thought we won't have anyone making jokes about this, even though it is ripe for comedy. Humor often covers sadness and this is a bit sad. But it's also ripe for jokes.
So in that spirit I reintroduce a bit of old ethnic humor and say this was a "pole-ish bear". (Please no angry remarks - note I use the small p. And of course some of history's smartest people were Polish. Copernicus. Hilary Koprowski who invented the polio vaccine at the same time as Salk, Ignacy Łukasiewicz - inventor of the Kerosene lamp, , Jan Szczepanik, the "Austian Edison" as Mark Twain called him - inventor of the first bulletproof vest as well as a precursor to television, Rudolf Weigl - inventor of the typhus vaccine, Madam Curie, who needs no commentary, and a host of others.)
If a bear wants to pole sit any rational society would remove him. But of course Fish and Wildlige no doubt didn't have a clue as to how to get a bear down from a pole and didn't really want to try (can't blame them). But that's what they are paid the big bucks to do. As the old Jay Ward cartoon character Superchicken used to tell his sidekick "you knew the job was dangerous when you took it Fred". It's hard to believe but it's bearly possible.

The Symbolic Lynching of Caitlyn Clark

Everybody's beating up on poor Caitlyn Clark these days. If it's not her opponents on the court it's USA Today.
Previously the tabloid had accused Clark of skipping a fan event "to get her hair done" when in fact she was attending a charity event in her home town of Des Moines, Now columnist Nancy Armour accuses Clark of endangering black folks with lynchings because SHE keeps getting fouled!
"It seems there is a white nationalist element to Clark’s fandom that is deeply, deeply problematic, made even more so because the WNBA is made up predominantly of Black women, many of them queer. When Clark claims fouls that don’t exist, when she goes on profanity-laced tirades at referees, those racists see her as a white woman in need of saving and take matters into their own hands. … "
So they are beating her senseless out of the milk of human kindness!
What does Armour suggest? The only option would be for Caitlyn to quit.
Things have come full circle since black people began getting into professional sports. A lot of white basketball fans despised Bill Russell when he came into the NBA. A lot of them hated Joe Louis, and hated Jack Johnson even more long before him. Or Jackie Robinson, who also was not the first black man to play pro ball - it was Moses Fleetwood Walker, who played catcher for the Toledo Blue Stockings in the American Association in 1884. Needless to say Mr. Fleetwood was not, uh, popular at that time.
So now black athletes dominate a lot of the popular sports and suddenly being white is a radical act.
My father told me Bill Russell used to get pounded by players from other teams who did so just because he was a black man in a then-white game. He saw Russell a number of times when the Celtics played the St. Louis Hawks (my dad was friends with those guys and played on their softball team.) Russell lead the Celtics against the Hawks in the 1956 NBA championship. The Hawks won, sparking a party that my father said was truly legendary.
(As an aside, my father hung out in a hotel bar where the Hawks hung out and he used to take my mother there in their early courtship, so in a way the NBA may be responsible for my being born.)
BTW Russell was not the first black player in the NBA; that honor goes to Earl Lloyd. Russell was the first black superstar, however.
At any rate what was once racism to beat up black players has now morphed into black players beating up white players and the racist tag STILL falls on the whites. I guess that's what liberals call "fair"? Generational guilt excuses it.
The WNBA was only formed in 1996 so there is not history of racism in the game. The women playing there have not experienced racism in their workplace. They just resent a white girl being better at basketball - the unofficial sport of African Americans - than are they.
What is happening in the WNBA is vile and shows exactly what is wrong with the modern DEI thinking. It is not diverse, equitable, or inclusive for all. It's only applicable where minorities are concerned. What does that make it? Black (or Hispanic) supremacism.
If the Leftists pushing such things were even remotely honest about what they believe they would admit that is the goal. They want to punish whites for having been successful. Yes, it's generational guilt in their minds, but ultimately it's about power and the joy of torturing others, people who voluntarily gave up power to give those who had been mistreated a fair shake.
Many black folks don't realize that; they think they took this power by the sheer force of their superiority.
That is why Caitlyn Clark presents such an existential threat to them. She is the equivalent of an "uppity colored man" in the old South. If it was wrong to lynch such a man then why is it o.k. to symbolically lynch a white girl now?

The Current Tactical Position in Iran

Current operations in Iran are no longer starting from the original position.
Iran’s missile attack volume was substantially higher in March 2026 than in July 2026 going from as many as hundreds per day then to mere dozens now. It's retaliatory power, while still existent, has clearly diminished.
Since the war restarted in early July 2026, the United States has not used "exquisite” high-end weapons (heavy standoff cruise missiles, stealth bombers, or hypersonics) at anything approaching the scale or intensity of the initial campaign in late February–March 2026. Nor has it required the augmentation of a parallel campaign by Israel. It appears to have greater dominance than in March. This probably means a far greater weight of delivery.
All of this can change but it would be reasonable to surmise that US goals are no longer in their starting positions either, probably aiming to go further. The most obvious possible new goals are subverting/shaping the Islamic Republic leadership in preparation for either another round of negotiations or outright regime change.
But in the end the plans are secret. We can make educated deductions but no more.

It was the pitch to expand TPS "before YOU leave office.” His team was searching for ways to lock in his mass-migration regime before Trump took power.

Earthlike World Found Around Red Dwarf Star

An atmosphere has apparently been discovered around an exoplanet similar to the Earth's and in the liquid water band, thus presenting the possibility of life as we know it.
The planet - LhS 1140 b - orbits a red dwarf star (class M) about 45 light years away, so relatively close in astronomical terms.
The article doesn't tell us more than about the star which is important. As the article observes red dwarf stars are poor places for Earth'like worlds in that they put out a lot of x rays and have strong solar winds which usually strip atmospheres off of planets in the liquid water band, which with a red dwarf is very clos
But what kind of class M star is it? They do vary in terms of size and radiative output.
Also the article just says it's an "Earth-like world" but doesn't give details on it's size relative to the Earth. Is it smaller or larger? That too can make a difference.
Such a world would almost certainly be tidally locked, like the Moon is around the Earth, so only one side of the planet would face the star.
At any rate they determined the atmosphere is primarily helium (which is a surprised; Helium is a light gas and would easily be stripped away from the world) and Helium, of course, can be breathed in place of nitrogen, meaning we could possibly actually walk outside on it (at least with protective clothing to avoid the radiation or on the night side. But the planet probably has hurricane winds if it's tidal locked, and that would be a problem. Life would be difficult on the surface. But if it has an ocean...
I rather suspect a helium atmosphere would mean a superearth, a planet comfortably larger than Earth. I should think a planet as small as ours would be stripped of it's atmosphere.
Proxima Centauri - the nearest star to ours - has a super-Earth planet that is denuded of it's atmosphere in close orbit around that red dwarf star.
At any rate this is of academic interest only; we won't be going there any time soon, not with our current technology and not with any technology we can conceive of at present. Contrary to popular fiction warp drive is an impossibility and probably always will be. You are talking about bending space in the manner of a black hole.
But it's fun to think about. And who knows; maybe eventually we'll send a probe there, and maybe a multi-generational ship. But that will be a long, long time off.

Henry Louis Gates had her on his geneology show and found her family traced back to Spain where they were involved in the slave trade and documents reveal they owned at least one slave.
Maybe old Sunny should start the reparations ball rolling by giving her own money to black people as reparations? No? As always she's all mouth and no action.

Thune knows he can implement a talking filibuster and get this thing passed but he refuses to do so. He could even back passing it via reconciliation but he refuses to do so. Thune doesn't want this passed.
Why not? I've said this before; the RiNO wing of the party doesn't want to become the dominant force in Congress. They want the senate neck-and-neck so no Senator is expendable. It's job security. If the Senate is this tight nobody dares turn out any Senator, no matter how much the go against the will of the Base. If the end result will be a Democrat elected and the power structure flipped nobody will support that. It's how the GOP has been operating for decades now.
And the RINO types like the good press and like getting invited to all the parties and being treated as honored gentlemen while not having to do anything of value. They prefer to let the Democrats do the work of running things while they go on their junkets, take their gifts, take their free vacations, and strut around like peacocks, the Great Man!
And of course many of them agree with the program the Democrats are pushing, just want it to go a little slower. So many take the words of Bill Buckley, that it is their job to "sit athwart history and shout 'stop'"! When Buckley called for that there was no chance of reversing anything. But now we are in a position we can roll some of this insanity back, but it requires the Republicans going on the defensive rather than turtling up in their shell and hiding. It's easier to hide than fight.And especially since these RINO types agree with the Democrats on so many things (like the trans movement or global warming) and are at odds with the base of the GOP. In fact they disdain the base as a bunch of low-brow hillbillies. Rush Limbaugh talked about that; they tried to recruit him to their way of thinking. They hate us as much as do the Democrats.
So a big Felix Unger to John Thune (in The Odd Couple Oscar Madison voices his complaint with Felix "it took me two weeks to figure out FU meant Felix Unger.)

The only reason anyone bothers to watch the WNBA is because of Caitlin Clark.
I hope she leaves the league and it collapses. She deserves better.
So do her "racist" fans.
There is one and only one reason for the animosity from fellow players and the League and that is racism. They hate her because she's a pretty white girl who can play some serious ball. That's SUPPOSED to be a black thing.
And the League is allowing Clark to get beaten up regularly with no foul calls because, well, white girls bleed a lot! She's got it coming for her "white privilege" and all!

Yes, There was a Medieval Warming Period and it was Good

Here is a piece of work at Physorg discussing the horribleness of planetary warming. In particular it uses the Medieval Warming Period as a cautionary tale to modernity about how terrible a warming period can be.
I remember a time when they denied there WAS a Medieval Warming Period (hence to be known as MWP). They tried very hard to ignore it. But since that failed they are now trying to trash it to make our current Holocene warming period (cooler still than the MWP and the even warmer Holocene Climate Optimum) appear to be an existential crisis that requires immediate action before doomsday.
But guess what? Populations in England were certainly rising during this time period and the same holds true for the rest of Europe. Populations don't rise in times of famine and crop failures.
The Low Middle Ages saw population contraction as the political environment was unsettled, as was the environment itself; a series of natural disasters, starting in the sixth century, reduced the population of Europe considerably. But at the start of the High Middle Ages in 1300 population began to rise and times were good - this was the heyday of the MWP. It was warmer, there was more food being grown, and commerce increased. But the coming of the Black Death and other plagues caused a major population drop, which this paper appears to be using to justify claims that warming causes all these problems. It wasn't warming - it was an invasion of rats. There were more people who had bad hygiene and the rats carried the Black Death.
This author tries to coin a new name - the Medieval Climate Anomaly - so as to avoid the obvious conclusion. He speaks about how it wasn't universal (and yet we know from what was happening in Central and South America as well as in Asia and Africa) that this was a time of prosperity for everyone - which suggests crops were flourishing in the warmer climate.
He admits this while denying the truth of it:
Not all regions experienced warmer temperatures during this period, however. Many scholars prefer the label Medieval Climate Anomaly instead. This better reflects the fact that climatic changes varied across the globe and involved more than just rising temperatures.
Although the warmer temperatures produced occasional drought conditions, the overall economic effects of the Medieval Climate Anomaly were largely positive for northern Europe and parts of Asia. It led to large-scale and widespread agricultural expansion and population growth.
Between 600–900, the population of Eurasia grew only marginally, from 167 million to 178 million. Between 900–1200, however, it nearly doubled to 324 million.
It was during the Medieval Climate Anomaly that a highly commercialized and monetized economy developed in large parts of medieval Europe, in what historians have described as its commercial revolution.
And we know that the Mongols exploded out of their Gobi Desert home at the end of the 13th century, and why did they do that? Because they had a major population growth spurt and enough food to feed their soldiers.
The Mayans and Incans both experienced Golden Ages during this period too.
And then there was Cahokia. A great civilization known as the Mound Builders flourished in Illinois and other parts of the Midwest (St. Louis is called Mound City in honor of the mounds they build in the "suburbs" of Cahokia) and Cahokia was their capital. In the year 900 it's population was greater than that of London at the time. By 1450 the city was almost completely abandoned. It was not conquered. But conditions changed with the end of the MWP and no doubt they had a series of crop failures along with disease outbreaks that led to the fall of Cahokia. A great civilization perished when it went from warm to cold. Most of her population loss came in the 13th century, just as the MWP was ending.
(BTW the Cahokia Indians came later and settled in the ruins, building a small village on top of Monk's Mound, the ceremonial center of the ancient city. Mounks Mound is a hundred feet high, an artificial mountain constructed on the prairie of western Illinois. The Great Sun - the leader - lived there and all ceremonial events occurred on it.)
So we have evidence in Illinois, in the Yucatan, in in South America, in China and Central Asia and Europe and even in New Zealand
Yes, there were heat waves and droughts but that is normal. It appears to me most people were flourishing around the globe. It was a period, not an "anomaly".
Here's this guy's conclusion:
"The Medieval Climate Anomaly was a largely regional episode of natural warmth. Today's climate change is a rapid worldwide warming trend driven primarily by human greenhouse gas emissions.
Moreover, temperatures are rising today at unprecedented rates. Records continue to tumble, as weather that was once considered extreme becomes normal.
There are, however, some salutary warnings from the past. As climates change, so too will the risk of diseases spreading and the possibility of weather extremes. With increasing temperatures, it is possible, for example, that malaria may once again become endemic in the UK.
As the medieval period has demonstrated, fire spread can be another acute risk during long periods of dry weather. But unlike the medieval period, we now have the technology to help us prepare, as well as national fire services and more ways to share information quickly. That gives us an advantage that medieval communities just did not have."
He says the MWP was "regional" and yet it impacted much of the globe. How is that "regional"? And he points to things that have nothing to do with the current theory of climate warming as the causes of disasters, like big volcanic eruptions, and then ignores the very point he made to kowtow to the fashionable War of the World's scare.
Most of this conclusion is a non-sequiter. Nothing he discusses in the meat of the article leads one to accept his conclusions.
And he fails to mention what went after, the bitter cold, the hunger, the diseases that befell the world after the climate cooled.
That's how this is done these days. I suppose we now call that "science"?

I thought tropical islands were all going to disappear under the sea! Now they are telling us they will be too humid because of.....climate change!
Of course they are predicting this seventy four years out so nobody can check to see if it happened.
The fact is most tropical islands already have dangerously high humidity. (Yes, there are some that are desert.) But this is a condition that pretty much already exists.
AS I say, they told us these small islands would disappear under rising sea levels. But a strange thing happened; it turns out many of these islands were actually growing as opposed to shrinking from rising sea levels. It has been so good in fact that the Indian Ocean chain of atolls known as the Maldives is building SIX new airports to accommodate all the traffic coming to the "sinking" isles, and the Saychelles is planning a major airport expansion.
Here's the kicker:
The risks extend beyond health. Many island communities are already dealing with climate pressures, including rising seas, water shortages and extreme weather, meaning increased heat could add another challenge to daily life. As such, the team warns that some islands could experience conditions that become increasingly difficult for people to safely work, travel and spend time outdoors without adaptation measures.
So we are going to have higher humidity but water shortages, are we? Humidity often means more rain.
In other words they are just piling on any catastrophe' they can credibly link to changing climatic conditions.
What a load climate science has become! It's all computer models being presented as fact.

AbstractExtreme humid heat is projected to increase markedly by the end of the century, particularly in the tropics. Yet, the case of small islands is ambiguous because the available studies are based on coarse global climate models (GCMs) that ignore them. Here, bias-corrected GCMs at weather station sites are used to assess present and future extreme humid heat conditions on various tropical islands. Levels of humid heat are estimated with the Heat Index (HI) combining temperature and humidity. Extreme humid heat intensity is projected to reach particularly dangerous levels by the end of the century, with higher HI values for islands located closer to the equator. Longer humid heatwaves are also notably projected to increase in frequency, with more pronounced increases equatorward, because of the lower seasonal variability of HI. Such severe conditions threaten the lives of millions of island inhabitants across the tropics.
Plain Language SummaryUnder warm conditions, heat stress to the human body is stronger for higher humidity. Previous research has shown that although northern hemisphere mid- and high latitudes are projected to warm faster than elsewhere, humid heat over continents is expected to be most pronounced in the tropics. Unfortunately, the global climate models typically used in humid heat studies are too coarse to distinguish small islands. In this paper, such models are statistically combined with weather station data to obtain projections of extreme humid heat events and humid heatwaves in various tropical islands, covering different oceanic basins and latitudes. There, the response of humid heat to global warming is found to be similar to that over continents, with a faster increase toward dangerous heat stress levels for islands located closer to the equator. Our results underline that projected humid heat conditions are an existential threat for millions of island inhabitants across the tropics.
It's pretty clear these researchers started with a conclusion and worked their way back from it. This isn't science.

Republican Gubernatorial Candidate in Illinois Wants to Audit NGO's

Illinois currently has no freedom of information act (foia) disclosure requirements for NGO's that get money from the state. That means they can launder vast sums of cash to the Democrats in the Prairie State with no fear of being caught.
At least a Republican candidate for Governor wants to change that.
Darren Bailey is calling for foia disclosures for any agency that receives over ten thousand dollars from state coffers.
Sadly this proposal will probably go nowhere as Illinois is as blue as they come and J.B. "no neck" Pritzker is running for a third term - with his billions to back him up.
But this is an important issue. NGO's have been running rampant, and they need to be reined in. Of course no Democrat will try to do that.

Lindell Pushes Amnesty for Illegals

The conservative My Pillow entrepreneur and podcaster has gone insane, calling for amnesty for illegal aliens.
I guess his pillows use some toxic chemicals that cause brain damage.
Lindell, the Trump-endorsed gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota, has promoted the idea of a six month window for aliens to apply for permanent status on the theory "I'm for giving people second chances".
What of the Law, Mr. Lindell? What of the American People who are getting cheated out of jobs, out of government services? What of the theft of taxpayer dollars by illegals?
I am sorely disappointed to hear he turned to the Dark Side.
Second chances are for the penitent. If these folks were penitent they would return home and apply through official channels rather than cut the line.
As far as I'm concerned this disqualifies Lindell from being governor.
"I’d like the whole United States to do this, but let’s say I did it here in Minnesota,” Lindell told the Washington Examiner in a Tuesday interview. "Six months, all the illegal immigrants would have to go get what’s going to be called a conditional work visa.”
Turns out Mr. Lindell had a long battle with drug addiction. Sounds like he fell off the wagon.
At any rate this is a craven attempt to get the many illegal aliens in Minnesota to support him and it's a despicable, craven caving to political correctness.
I would like to remind Mr. Lindell of what Jesus said in John 10:1
"Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber."
So he wants to amnetize thieves and robbers, does he? Is that being a good shepherd? Let them stay and you only encourage more and more of them to come. Plus chain migration means their extended family gets to come and generally the whole village will show up. It's not just then.
A Christian has sphered of duty that start with his family then go to his community and then to his state then his nation. Too many Christians these days forget that and start with this embrace of all at the expense of his immediate responsibilities because the Left has framed this as a "love" vs. hate issue when in fact it is not and Christendom has always recognized the right to control your borders.
Lindeell is displaying immature Christian thinking. He needs to grow up.

Fitzpatrick has always been more comfortable as a Democrat while we all know Mike "Amnesty for illegals" Lawler is a POS.
These last two puzzle me; I thought territory representatives were observers and did not vote on bills. Apparently they are non-voting but can vote on amendments. As this was an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) the two territorial turncoats were eligible to vote. They shouldn't be able to vote on anything if they are "non-voting" members of Congress.
This is why we should not take any overseas territories into the U.S. They aren't American, they just use America for their defense and support.
I've long thought Hawaii doesn't belong in the Union either.
Even Alaska is questionable. Alaska is isolated from the U.S. and it has long been a hotbed of leftism despite it being a seemingly self-reliant place.
At any rate with friends like these who needs enemies? If any Republican votes with a Democrat for any reason he should be targeted for being primaried.
