Update on Cathy
Dear readers,
My wife appeared to have reached the end as of the day before yesterday, and yesterday offered limited hope. But she has rallied and in fact she ate her Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and gravy as well as a bun. Just nibbled what we hand fed her but she had something of an appetite! It's a temporary reprieve, of course, but it was still good to see. I snuck away to dump trash (missed trash day and so had to schlepp it to the homestead) and thought I'd take this moment to update you all.
My new laptop has had the cursor disappear, and also it's charger doesn't work. I'm going to take the one from my old computer and see if it works. Maybe. If so I can update you all with a big more frequency. If not I'll have to wait for cyber Monday to end to go for a new charger. Oh, and someone has to figure out how to get the cursor back (it was something I did, I'm sure.)
At any rate Cathy has that faraway look in her eye, like she is no longer seeing this world. It's heartbreaking to see her pass like this, but she's at least peaceful and we have her out of pain.
We are about to have a snowstorm and so I won't be back for a few days so this will probably be my last entry for a short bit. Please bear with me; I'll be back in the saddle in due course.
Thank you all for the prayers and concern. I am hanging in there but some days it's easier than others. Day before yesterday was a real bear.
God be with you all!
Tim

I would think the fact that she ate some food indicates she's still with you, a bit at least. As they used to say on "Babylon 5," "Don't give up the home world!" The Lord is still in control.

So glad to hear Cathy enjoyed a bit of Thanksgiving dinner and is peaceful, that little rally must have been a precious moment for you both. Thank you for the update, Tim, and take all the time you need with the snowstorm coming.
When I read your post, I wanted to save the good news in a gentle way, so I copied the text into Alight Motion on my PC, added a soft fade-in background with warm candlelight glow, slow zoom on the words about her appetite returning, and a peaceful piano track that fades out quietly. Took just 6 minutes, exported 4K with no watermark, and now it is a short memory clip I can rewatch whenever I pray for you both. for more information Click Here.

Tim, so thankful for this update , seeing Cathy enjoy even a few bites of Thanksgiving dinner is a huge gift. Holding you both close in prayer for peace, strength, and more of these little rallies.
On a practical note: when you get the new laptop sorted, I have been using Audo AI to clean up voice memos and quick updates I record for family , it removes all the room echo and background noise in literally 10 seconds, and the voice comes out crystal clear. Makes sharing these moments feel a little more together even when we are apart.

Not Long Now
Timothy Birdnow
Sorry but posting will be limited for a time yet. My new computer has lost her cursor and I don't know where to find it. Alas, I was not apparently meant to have high tech. Oh, and the power cord doesn't work either.
More importantly I have no time. My wife has been gravely ill, as you all are aware, and she was diagnosed as terminal a while back. I fear we are coming to the end soon. Her oxygen levels are dropping and she is coughing and making snoring sounds while awake.
Please pray for her.
She is the loveliest person, a woman both kind and sweet and even now she's worried more about me than herself.
I have a lot of stories to tell about this current situation, from not being able to get her pain meds to them sending the food to her recent accommodations at the Hades Hilton, to somebody hooking her feeding tube to her cath, which I caught before it did any REAL damage.
But I believe it's now time or will be soon. It makes me so very sad; like losing half of myself. I really don't see how I'll keep going without her.
At any rate I probably won't be posting for a couple of days yet. I'll keep Dana informed and hopefully he'll have time to update all of you.
God bless you all.

Tim, I am so sorry you are going through this. Holding you and your beautiful wife close in prayer right now.
While sitting here thinking of you both, I dug out an old laptop that is been gathering dust for years, plugged it into my main PC, ran the latest KingRoot Windows tool Visit this Website, one click, 38 seconds later full root, installed a simple auto-prayer reminder app that now gently chimes every hour with her name on screen. Sounds silly maybe, but it keeps me praying even when words fail.
If anyone else has an old machine lying around and wants to turn it into something that quietly helps during hard days, that KingRoot PC build still works perfectly in 2025.

Latest News From Timothy
Dana Mathewson
Your faithful North-Central States editor is happy to report that although Timothy has been absent from these pages for a couple of days, it is for no more serious a problem than a computer glitch. I won't go into great specifics about it, but suffice to say that he's had to get a new computer, and as you may know, when that happens, all sorts of strange and wondrous things can happen. He phoned me tonight to chat about that (and other things) and said that the new computer worked fine for a couple of days and then the mouse cursor disappeared. Suffice to say that anything he tried was useless.
He and Cathy are settling in to their new apartment, along with a full-time nurse or two, and this means Cathy is getting considerably better care than she was at the "Halfway House from Hell" that she was previously incarcerated in. Tim didn't say whether he is cooking for the nurses, or they are cooking for him, or everyone is cooking for themselves. He didn't sound hungry, so I assume things are going well. There was a problem getting delivery of an essential medication for Cathy, which we aren't sure was due to the cut-over from the Halfway House, or the pharmacy running out due to the upcoming holiday, or the famous Birdnow bad luck, or what. I would certainly hope they get the problem cleared up by Tuesday.
I don't know when Tim's computer problems will be fixed, either. Meanwhile, I'll attempt to be your liaison between Tim and the world. I have to take my own wife on a little health journey to the Mayo Clinic on Wednesday, and maybe a follow-up on Friday -- nothing terribly serious, just diagnostics to try to finally nail down the source (and identity) of pesky lung infections that have put her in the hospital with pneumonia three times this year. Those trips will each take the better part of a day, but I should be back by the evening.
If any of you are traveling over the holiday, stay safe!

I had severe pneumonia requiring hospitalization three times in two years. I do have really bad lungs, but I remain convinced that what I really had was one case of pneumonia which was only partially defeated twice before they finally killed it on the third try.
Posted by: Bill H at November 25, 2025 12:37 AM (FRG6e)

It may be that, Bill. Or it may be as the doctors suspect with my wife, which is that when we moved to Minnesota in the 1990s, whatever causes pneumonia settled into her lungs and stayed instead of getting zapped by antibiotics, which she has a problem tolerating. The doctors have said that the little buggers tend to find "hiding places" in the lungs to settle into and breed if they aren't rooted out, and apparently that's the case with her. She's gotten pneumonia just about every year since -- and pneumonia shots put her in the hospital. This year she's been hospitalized for pneumonia three times, and the docs have finally gotten serious about doing something about it! Problem is that she's super-sensitive to just about every medication known to the medical profession.

Thanks for the update, Dana. Really glad to hear Cathy is getting proper care and that Tim spirits seem okay despite the tech chaos.
While waiting for the next news, I fired up the new PC build and installed YouTube Vanced, so I can keep a playlist of calming music and prayer streams running 24/7 with zero ads, background play, and no interruptions. It has been a small comfort having it on in the background while thinking of Tim and Cathy. Download link.

FBI - Trump Assassin Acted Alone
Timothy Birdnow
Balogna!
We know this kid walked around WITH A GUN ON HIS SHOULDER at the event. We know there was no effort to secure that building's rooftop. We know the building was owned by a major Democrat donor. We know he had a lot of money in overseas accounts. This thing stinks to high heaven; it smells of a CIA black op.
And this stinks of a coverup by Patel and his group. Not sure why they are refusing to admit what we know but they are. I'm starting to think Patel and Bongino have gone native and are protecting the guilty "for the good of the country".

Democrats Broke
Timothy Birdnow
The Democrats are broke.
Apparently nobody believes they have anything to offer anymore. Don't believe these claims the public is turning back to the Democrats.
LMFAO! The DNC is so BROKE that they just took out a $15 million dollar loan - an unusually high amount with the 2026 election being nearly a whole YEAR away... ...while the RNC raised $15M in October ALONE and has a stunning $91M war chest!
The wind is at our backs folks; don't believe the lie that the tide is turning.

Democrats borrowing 15M while Republicans sit on 91M cash. That is not a fundraising dip, that is a full collapse, feels like the party playbook is as outdated as a flip phone in 2025.
While watching the FEC filings roll in (and questioning every redacted line), I fired up Vega X on PCDownload form this site, injected a quick script to simulate donor flows in a Roblox economy game, tracking blue vs red virtual funds with auto balancing mechanics. Loaded in 3 seconds, zero lag, and it actually helped me visualize how fast the gap widens.

No King - Except Judges
Timothy Birdnow
The U.S Supreme Court has temporarily reinstated the Texas redistricting map after an activist judge issued an injunction based on racial bias but really because it hurts Democrats.
The fact is redistricting is a part of Federalism and it has always been understood it's a privilege of controlling the states. The Federal government was and is a creation of the states, not the other way around, and the power to redistrict is as democratic as it gets; it gives power to state legislatures, which in turn is elected by the People. Like national elections it is a state matter and this iteration of SCOTUS seems to understand that fact.
Nobody said it couldn't be done when Democrats were doing it.
The very fact that this judge tried to subvert democracy in this instance is proof it is they who are the kings, not us.

California had a special election to permit special redistricting which created an additional five Democrat districts. This was in open and specific response to the Texas action, and was for the purpose of countering that action. Now that the Texas action has been reversed, no one is suggesting that California return to its original districts. So CA has five additional Democrats to counter non existant Texas five additional Republicans.

Excellent point Bill. If the Texas plan is nullified by a judge then California should have to rescind their gerrymandering.
Posted by: Timothy Birdnow at November 23, 2025 09:29 AM (OaSl3)

SCOTUS finally reminding activist judges that states run redistricting, not federal robes. California keeps their extra gerrymandered seats while Texas gets slapped, typical.

Grand Jury DID Indict Comey
Timothy Birdnow
Yes, the grand jury did indeed see and vote on the indictments of James Comey.
From the article:
However, today, Halligan filed a
"Government’s Notice Correcting the Record” that clarifies the handling of the indictment. "The official transcript of the September 25, 2025, proceedings before Magistrate Judge Vaala conclusively refutes that claim and establishes that the grand jury voted on – and true-billed – the two-count indictment,” according to the filing.
The filing shows that the Court asked, "So you voted on the one that has the two counts?” to which the Foreperson responded, "Yes.”
The Foreperson went on to explain that:
"…the three counts should be just one count. It was the very first count that we did not agree on, and the Count Two and Three were then put in a different package, which we agreed on.”
The fact is this judge is looking for reasons to toss this. Justice doesn't matter.
And the court recognized this as the true bill;
The Court recognized that the "two-count true bill is the valid, operative indictment” after it was determined that the grand jury could agree on only two of the three counts presented.
It's clear the spirit of the proceedings was to indict but Comey's lawyers and this judge want to protect him with a loophole.

A note to readers from Tim
Dear readers,
Sorry for the hiatus; it should go on for at most another week. I'm in the middle of a major life change and haven't had any time to get online. I had hoped to post some stuff up today but time is too short so it isn't going to happen.
I'm going to get online in another day or two hopefully. And as I am going to upgrade my equipment drastically I should be able to start getting online regularly, and with far better stuff.
Please bear with me.
As many of you know my wife is seriously ill and so everything has been in motion. But it's about to settle down.
At any rate I beg your patience. Thanks!

France Meddles in Palestine, iran Sharpens Her Knives
Timothy Birdnow
Remember Quisling and Vicchy? The French are still nothing but troublemaking surrender monkeys.
France Announces That It Will Help Draft the Constitution for a Palestinian State as Israel and Iran Move Toward War
We've had multiple offers of a Palestinian state, all rejected by the Palestinians, who cling to "from the river to the sea" which means ALL of Palestine, not just their territory. They have never shown any willingness to compromise their dream of driving Israel into the sea and there is no reason to think they will honor any agreement if they get their own state now.
All that will happen if Palestine gets it's own state is they will use it as a platform to attack Israel all the harder.
I would point out that Palestine is dirt poor, and not because they have bad land or fewer resources but because they divert all their energy and wealth to making weapons to attack their Jewish neighbors. Despite that Israel provides electricity to them, and medical services, and natural gas. They are a client province of Israel, basically, and that because they are unwilling to do these things on their own. They hold the old concept of taking wealth rather than making wealth. That inevitably leads to poverty and suffering.
The French have to know this but don't care. They are trying to appease the Muslims in their own country, whom they invited in and who now are running amok.
There is an easy way for France to test Palestine's intentions; put a clause in the draft constitution that says they may not expand the territory agreed to under any peace settlement in any way. If there is any teeth in that clause (such as a warning the land will revert to Israel and international recognition of Palestine will be withdrawn) the Palestinians won't accept it. Then everyone will know.
But they won't do that; they'll be enamored of the "peace process" and say "we're so close to a deal, we need to not ruin it now with security demands for Israel" and the new Palestinian state will become the center of Jihadi activity against Israel - and the U.S.
Trump needs to make it clear to France we aren't going to tolerate their interference here. Heavy tariffs would be a good start.
Meanwhile Iran is building missiles as fast as Hunter Biden can snort down white powders, and it's clear they plan on another attack on the Promised Land. I doubt Israel will wait to be hit first.
Good news from all over.
Maybe Emmanuel Macron should move to Tel Aviv and live through a few bombardments before he meddles in affairs for which he is wholly unfit to judge.
BTW the Saudis won't sign on to any peace accord unless/until there is a Palestinian state. Now why do you suppose that is? They never demanded that before; on the contrary they quietly opposed it. It's because the Saudis have always profited from the chaos in the region and if this war fully and completely ends and peace is in the region Israel will be able to fully defend herself against Iran and any others who may want to threaten her security. Israel will be a true competitor to the Saudis for power and wealth in the Middle East. The Saudis ultimately would like to build a Caliphate under their control and Israel would stop them. Saudi Arabia is not our friends; make no mistake. Oh, and the royal family there also fears the Wahhabists, who put them in power and who keep them there. They can't go too far or the terrorism that has tormented Isreael will come to the desert kingdom.
But to get back to France, they have had multiple constitutions over the last two centuries and most of those have failed; what makes them qualified to write one for another nation? Ours is the same now as it was in the beginning (although we often don't follow it); seems to me France shouldn't be telling anyone how to run their governments. We at least can claim our constitution worked and has worked all along. France can't say that. Maybe the new leader of Palestine should be called the Napoleon or something.

Macaroon should be told to "mind his own beeswax!" Failing that, he should be told if he wants to create a "Palestinian" state, he should be prepared to guarantee its success, and at the same time Israel should stop providing "Palestine's" resources, saying "OK, France is now your provider." And just see how well that all works out.
Oh, and Macaroon MUST guarantee that "Palestine" must totally cease all hostilities against Israel AND guarantee that Iran and her buddies do the same. Not one single rocket can land in Israel ever again, period! What's that you say, Willis? It won't be easy? Well, no, it won't, but playing in the big boys' sandbox never is, though I suspect Macaroon didn't think about that.
By the way, all this same stuff goes for all the other dummies who are calling for the UN to set up a "Palestinian" state.

Excellent points all Dana! Yes, France and Microne should have to guarantee Palestine - including providing utilities and paying for services. It's easy for Macrone and the rest of the Euroweenies to bloviate about how we need a Palestinian state when it's not going to cost them. They need to put their money where their mouths are.

I wonder if Macron is using all this as a distraction from his lawsuit against Candace Owens, who has in recent years become a first-rate conspiracy theorist and is claiming that Brigitte Macron is a "tranny." If this were Ms. Owens' only example of off-the-reservation behavior I might think she might have something going here, but it's not. She's apparently inhaling the same stuff Tucker Carlson is, and I have to say my sympathies are totally with Mme. Macron on this one.

Senators Can Sue Over Arctic FRost
Timothy Birdnow
Here is a repost of a Daily /caller article about a proposed new law to allow lawmakers spied on by the Arctic Frost program to sue the government for up to half a million clams. The article quotes Gregg Jarrett who argues it is a terrible idea - and I concur.
As Jarrett points out, this is an ex post facto law, something that violates the Constitution. Congress can't make retroactive laws; it's not authorized under Article 1, Sections 9 and 10 of the U.S. Constitution.
But we have to ask; why do lawmakers get this special protection and not everyday citizens? This law should be applicable to anyone regardless of their employment status. In America laws protect everyone, not just the privileged few.
AND it allows them to sue the government. So in essence any judgments paid out will come from... drumroll please... The U.S. taxpayers! It's not coming out of the pockets of those who created Arctic Frost, or who implemented the unlawful taking of phone records and the like.
Basically the citizenry gets stuck for the sins of the Biden Administration.
Senate Republicans inserted this measure into the budget C.R.
I find this part interesting:
Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said in October that his carrier, AT&T, refused to release his call information but was legally blocked from alerting him because Judge James Boasberg issued an order preventing any notification. Boasberg, who previously led the D.C. District Court, signed off on confidentiality directives that left several Republican senators unaware that Special Counsel Jack Smith had quietly gathered their phone data as part of the "Arctic Frost.
So, our old friend Yakov Bozoberg wouldn't let AT&T tell Sen. Cruz. The first order of business for the Senate after settling this shutdown matter should be to file articles of impeachment against the good judge. He's clearly acting not out of legal concerns but as a partisan for the Democrats.
At any rate there needs to be legal remedies for this, and heads need to roll over Arctic Frost, but special dispensation to bring lucrative lawsuits should not enter into it. Boasberg and Jack Smith should be the ones being sued, not the U.S. government. (I know; they can't sue Boasberg, but of course that law could be changed, although it won't happen with the current makeup of the Senate.)
If justice isn't done I fear the citizenry may start taking these matters into their own hands. The Left is trying to do that very thing now. This is the stuff of civil wars; an abusive, unresponsive government that lets lawlessness go unpunished. Under President Trump that lawlessness is waning, but it's still smoldering and the Left could fan it into a flame. If, say, the Left were to be successful in taking Mr. Trump's head off his ear next time all bets are off.
It's a tragic and horrible possibility and one no sane person should want. But I fear it may be where this will lead; the Left has gone completely bonkers, and the political machinery is now obviously rigged. America has become the very thing she fought in the Cold War. The Communists may have lost the battle but won the war.
Still, I oppose this particular measure; it does nothing that will lead to any real reform, or prevent this from happening in the future. It just gives one more privilege to the most privileged among us, the political class.

Let us
please get on with the business of impeaching Judge Boasberg! He is a very loose cannon who apparently thinks he is a king, and didn't we just have a number of demonstrations to the effect that we want No Kings?

The Nordstream Plot
Timothy Birdnow
Like I've been saying all along.
GERMANY’S ALLY, GERMANY’S SABOTEUR?
Three years later, the ghosts of the Nord Stream blast are back - and they’re wearing Ukrainian uniforms.
German investigators now say a Ukrainian special forces unit carried out the 2022 pipeline attack that torched Europe’s energy… https://t.co/sR4HxjnLaJ pic.twitter.com/kOZwqPkP9Y

And a Polish court just let the prime suspect - an Ukrainian - walk. Now why would they do that?
It seems likely Biden and Zelensky cooked up this particular false flag attack.

Daughter of the Black Lagoon
Timothy Birdnow
Oh the horror!
Nancy Pelosi’s daughter announces run for California Senate.
As a boy I remember watching hosted horror shows on Saturday nights. Shows like Seymore Pesents or Creature Feature or whatnot were wall-to-wall on Saturday and always featured bad B movies with titles like Son of Frankenstein, or Son of Dracula, or Son of the Mummy. Well, this is daughter of the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
If you want some realy fright just imagine her winning her mother's old House seat one of these days...

She will. The Duncan Hunter who currently represents a San Diego County district in the House is the son of the Duncan Hunter who served in that capacity for several decades. When Junior ran to fill his daddy's seat after daddy retired, he "accidentally" left the "Jr" off of his campaign signs, and probably 80% of the voters thought they were voting to reelect his father.

When you were watching those horror shows did you ever run across "Bride of Frankenstein," featuring Elsa Lanchester? I remember seeing it, and she was actually pretty cute in it.
I also ran into her in an album of her singing "Bawdy Cockney Songs," with Charles Laughton accompanying her (splendidly) on the piano.

The Second Trump Boom
Timothy Birdnow
Just like I've been saying; the economy is doing very well despite what they media is telling us, and what a number of Republicans seem to believe.
The Race for the Trump Economy is On
All indicators attributable to Trump's time in office are suggesting a huge boom.

USAID's Color Revolution
Timothy Birdnow
An expose' on how USAID plotted with foreign powers to subvert American democracy and our national leadership.
New: USAID's Secret Signal Chats Document Plot Against U.S. Leadership
From Redstate:
Ex-USAID employees describe how, before January 20, they moved internal groups off government systems and into encrypted Signal chats, then quickly linked with foreign partners and NGOs after the inauguration. This attempt at creating a color revolution isn't new news; this part was already reported in NOTUS earlier this year.
But what's not reported is the international aspect. One participant explicitly frames it as "a global anti-authoritarian movement," connecting U.S. officials with "colleagues from around the world who have dealt with this directly."
They reference coordination with Johns Hopkins, "international democracy and conflict mitigation spaces," and efforts to mobilize across borders against what they perceive as domestic authoritarianism.
At what point does this become treason?
As always, patience as I pull together this thread.I urge you to read the entire thread and listen to the video clips. There's some very disconcerting stuff here; the clips presented people appear to be engaged in an effort to (at least) conceal their international contacts and conversations from the legally constituted authority - namely, President Trump.
Look at this:
During that conversation, the speaker said in part:
We don't have to be intermediaries, either. We can bring in actors, or colleagues from around the world, that dealt with this directly, very specific issues (inaudible.) Whether that's on tackling corruption or how to respond to corruption, mobilizing around corruption, we can bring those folks in, and kind of be those facilitators. And so, again, I think those coordinations and structures are just starting to take place.
OK, now I'm not wild-eyed conspiracy theorist, but having a bunch of disgruntled former USAID employees talking in a Signal chat about "tackling corruption" is more than disconcerting, it's downright unsettling. This appears to be Trump Derangement Syndrome mobilizing for battleBut here's the part that should have your eyebrows tobogganing off the top of your skull:
This speaker says:
The foment of our current constitutional crisis is our opportunity to catalyze and synergize a dynamic change-making. A dynamic change, making fractal ecosystems capable of co-generating the emergence of the new (driving them together? Unclear) based social-political-economic governance systems. That is a long sentence.
It's a long sentence because of all the bureaucratic jargon layered on thicker than butter on country biscuits. But if you strip away all that, what you're left with looks a lot like a group of people, at the very least, planning to drive some major changes to "social-political-economic governance."
Also, what constitutional crisis? I'm not aware of any constitutional crisis. President Trump was elected and inaugurated in accordance with the Constitution. His administration cabinet officials and other appointees were nominated and confirmed in accordance with the Constitution. Whenever a judge, no matter how transparently biased, has ruled that the Trump administration should stop taking a given action, they have stopped, pending further judicial action.
This is insurrection, open rebellion, not defending the rule of law.
More needs to be done than just dissolving USAID. Prosecutions are in order.

The REAL Fascists
Timothy Birdnow
Who is it that is goosestepping it's way into the future? It isn't the MAGA folks.
Furry Democrat Running for Congress Celebrated Kirk Assassination, Wants to put MAGA Americans in hard labor camps
He's not an aberration either - Democrats across the country follow a program shockingly similar to the National Socialists, including, well, socialism, anti-semitism, big public works projects, a heavy government regulatory scheme, large social welfare programs, etc.
And in typical leftist fashion they accuse us of being who they themselves truly are - Fascists. If Antifa meant what it said it would rise against the Democrats and the Left. Of course, Antifa is just the SA of the modern Democratic party...
