Port of L.A. Will Fine Companies for Excess Containers

On Wednesday, the Los Angeles City Council authorized the port to fine companies $100 per container plus $100 for every day that it does not move. The fines will go into effect on Monday, Nov. 1.

So typical they think they can use brute force to fix this problem. This after largely causing it in the first place.

The U.S. coal industry is booming, despite the fact they can't hardly sell it in the U.S.

From Oilprice.com:

U.S. coal miners are enjoying the surge in demand for the fossil fuel, with almost all of their production through the end of next year—and some into 2023 even—already sold, according to a Bloomberg report.

So other countries reap the benefit of coal and boost their electrical production while we play games with toys like windmills or solar panels.

We have to be some of the stupidest people on Earth.

My maternal grandmother was a product of the Deep South, having grown up on a plantation near Milliken’s Bend, Louisiana. Yes, there was a good bit about that culture than was awful, but there was much that should be cherished and admired.

Deeply embedded in that culture was a tradition of courtesy, which was not reserved for friends but was extended to strangers and, even more importantly, to adversaries and even enemies. For all of the racism that existed, it was all but unheard of in the true Deep South to be rude to a person of color. Only "poor white trash” did that kind of thing, and they were rude to white people as well, so…

She taught me the root words that went into the definition of "gentleman.” It is, she said, a person who is gentle and who is a man. In those days being a man had a very well defined meaning, among which was strength, courage, and the absolute dedication to protecting women from any kind of harm.

Democrat Hoax in Virginia

The great thing about exposure of the white supremacism hoax mounted against Republican candidate Youngkin is that it is far more than just an abjectly embarrassing election dirty trick for the Democrats.

It shines a light on one of the most important domestic political issues that American voters ought to be giving weight to when deciding which party to vote for. And that is that one of the cornerstones of today's Democratic Party is the use of inflammatory false allegations of racism in order to whip up hostility toward the Republican Party.

With the public likely to be much more alert to this phenomenon after this incident, it will be harder for the Democrats to benefit from race-baiting. And if they were to have any thought of trying to pursue a bombshell race-baiting incident as an "October surprise" prior to the 2022 election, this incident may give them pause.

Two points 1.if there was so much white supremacism around the Democrats wouldn't need to fake it and 2.they clearly don't have any confidence in their own message or they wouldn't have to stage a false flag. They would rely on having superior logic and better policy. That they had to go to this shows a sense of desperation.

Yes, this pervert of a school board member actually took kids on a field trip to a gay bar.

A Florida school board member chaperoned a group of elementary school children on a field trip to a gay bar, according to photos of the trip she posted to social media.

"I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone Wilton Manors Elementary’s field trip to the incredible Rosie’s! The students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community! A huge thank you to Rosie's Bar and Grill for hosting this special field trip every year!" Broward County School Board member Sarah Leonardi posted on her official school board Facebook page Wednesday.

The post, which was examined by Fox News Thursday morning, shows photos of children in a popular Florida gay bar, Rosie’s Bar and Grill, including a photo of the group posing next to the restaurant’s sign.

Why would this woman believe this was at all appropriate?

The modern left and the educational establishment are doing this to provoke us, I suspect. She knew she was going to infuriate the parents. The educrats are now in the business of not just openly defying parents, but mocking them.

Finding food every day without being eaten by a predator was a challenge. And don’t slip and fall or get an infection. Being unable to move freely or dying of an infection were big problems.
