California Lets off Child Rapist

Timothy Birdnow California has become a cesspool of sexual libertinism and corruption. If anyone doubts that they should check out this story about an elderly Stockton man convicted of raping a child under 7 and being given probation. Yes, probation. According to Fox40: :A longtime Stockton businessman was sentenced Wednesday to just 90 days of house arrest and five years of informal probation after pleading no contest to statutory rape of a child. The man, 79-year-old Lyle Burgess, does not have to register as a sex offender. The girl was just 5 years old at the time. "A 5-6-year-old little girl was molested. Normally the sentence is state prison and then when you're released, you have to register as a sex offender," family attorney Ken Meleyco said. "Future victims are not protected." End excerpt. Is it any surprise this happened in California? The rising tide of Central American street thugs and the acceptance of all manner of free-wheeling sexual perverts has made it impossible for the Golden State to differentiate between right and wrong, and they ALWAYS err on the side of the criminal. It's second nature to them. Much is said about the horrendous acceptance of child grooming and rape by Muslim immigrants in Britain, and how the British try to hide the fact and refuse to prosecute, but California isn't far behind. That's what happens when you give absolute power to leftists. more...

Taliban Murders, Threatens, Afghanis who Support Donald Trump

Timothy Birdnow If you can judge a man by his enemies, then this story speaks well of Donald Trump. The Taliban hate Trump to the point where they are murdering people who say a kind word about the American President. I am always comforted when an Islamic radical group hates someone; it means that person is on the right track. What we should fear is when they like or respect him, as Barack Obama was.

Evil Republicans Try to Recruit Black People!

Timothy Birdnow Here is a sixteen hundred word article in Bloomberg detailing a deep, dark plot by Steve Bannon - a political operative - to try to get black people to either vote for Donald Trump or sit the election out! The Monster! Since when are efforts to get out your voting base and discourage the opponent's base some dangerous conspiracy? It certainly wasn't considered one when the Democrats ran vicious campaign ads such as the infamous "when you don't vote another church burns" in Missouri attempting to frighten black voters with visions of lynchings and church burnings. It wasn't when the Democrats, following the lead of George Stephanopoulis, started the "war on women" meme. It wasn't when virtually every Republican running for President is accused of trying to cut social security, thus frightening senior citizens. Oh no! But it is an abominable act when Republicans do what political parties have always done. Note there is no crime alleged, or even any real impropriety. If you want to look at dirty pool, how about the Democrats' using taxpayer money to buy votes? How about their demands for open borders and amnesty, to dilute the voting power of native born Americans? Bloomberg is not worried about any of that. LIberals are the penultimate hypocrites.

Congress helped create the domestic rare earth minerals shortage—and now it can fix it

This from Americans for Limited Government: Printus LeBlanc Last week an unknown Chinese phone company, ZTE, was thrust into the spotlight because of ongoing trade negations and sanctions talk. Members of the Senate and House were up in arms because President Trump was in discussions to lift or modify the sanctions on the Chinese government-linked company. There is no doubt the company’s equipment poses a national security threat, but no one is asking the question how. more...

A search engine for Christians (and believing Jews)

Jack Kemp Shall the Geeks Inherit the Earth? Jesus said the meek shall inherit the earth. But today, could it be that the “geeks” of Silicon Valley are instead trying to inherit the earth? Brent Bozell, head of the Media Research Center (MRC), just released a blockbuster report on the problem of censorship by big tech Silicon Valley companies, like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Google. The report is called "CENSORED! How Online Media Companies Are Suppressing Conservative Speech." The MRC points out, "Like it or not, social media is the communication form of the future---not just in the U.S., but worldwide. Just Facebook and Twitter combined reach 1.8 billion people. More than two-thirds of all Americans (68 percent) use Facebook. YouTube is pushing out TV as the most popular place to watch video. Google is the No. 1 search engine in both the U.S. and the world." This is not just a war of ideas, observes the MRC: "It's a war against ideas. It's a clear effort to censor the conservative worldview from the publ ic conversation." Read the rest at Townhall.

The Bitter End: Eric Greitens Throws In The Towel

Brian Birdnow

This was all bound to end badly, and it has ended, to the relief of some and the consternation of others, mostly ambitious politicians and media types. We are talking, of course, about the tenure of Eric Greitens, the governor of Missouri, at least for the next 60 hours, or so. Greitens, in a surprise announcement Wednesday afternoon, declared that he will resign as the Missouri chief executive, bringing to an end the consequences of a tawdry extramarital affair, and a corresponding six months of turbulence in Missouri politics. Greitens stated that, while he committed no crime, he would resign his office on Friday, June 1st. Mike Parson, currently the state Lieutenant Governor, will be sworn in as the governor on Friday afternoon.

Dems, GOPe Take Down Eric Greitens

Timothy Birnow

Yesterday evening Missouri Governor Eric Greitens waved the white flag and announced he was resigning from office on Friday. Greitens, who has been embattled over dubious allegations he photographed his illicit lover without her knowledge - a crime in Missouri - and was also accused of data tampering when he committed the heinous crime (maybe) of soliciting donations for his run for Governor from the donor list from his charity, had had charges dismissed by the partisan hack of a District Attorney who had pursued charges against Greitesns with no evidence and who violated every procedure in place. Despite all that, the Missouri Republicans, angry that a Democrat could walk in and take over THEIR party and insult them to boot, were moving forward with impeachment proceedings. In his announcement Greitens said he was bankrupted by this, with his legal fees mounting to a point where he could no longer contest this. The Democrats, George Soros (who funded the DA pursing Greitens) and the GOPe won. more...

Panhandler's Happy Hour

Dana Mathewson FROM GATEWAY PUNDIT: "Are you a guilty, rich white liberal with a kush government job getting paid to shuffle around papers in some useless bureau for $90,000 a year and harbors internalized racism? Well now you can absolve your white guilt with the new Reparations Happy Hour. That’s right, the aforementioned guilty white liberals can show up to a bar in Portland, Oregon and give away free money to black folks so they can booze it up. I’m sure these white liberals feel a lot better about themselves with that burden of whiteness off their shoulders now." End excerpt. A word from Dana: Gee, I'd go but I'm working right now and I don't get home from work till after Happy Hour. From Tim: We used to just call it panhandling.

How a Bulldog Became the U. S. Marine Corps Mascot

Jack Kemp from the American Kennel Club Website... The Legacy of Chesty: How a Bulldog Became the United States Marine Corps Mascot From the article: Meet Chesty XV. He is the newest Bulldog recruit to join the United States Marine Corps, and he has big paw prints to fill. As the 15th Chesty to serve as the Marine Corps’ unofficial mascot, he already has the first of his many duties figured out: boosting morale. Chesty has plenty of Bulldog charm, a breed known for its loyalty and friendliness — as well as its tenacity. But does he have what it takes to uphold 61 years of tradition? Unofficial Mascot, Official Duties The Corps adopted the Bulldog as its mascot after World War I. According to tradition, the Marines fought so fiercely in the battle of Belleau Wood in France that the Germans called them “teufel hunden” after the devil dogs from Bavarian folklore. The nickname “devil dogs” stuck. Bulldogs are internationally recognized as symbols of courage. Sports teams and universities around the country employ the thickset bruisers as their mascots, and the Bulldog was famously associated with Winston Churchill’s defiance of Nazi Germany. In fact, Bulldogs became the unofficial mascot of the United States Marine Corps after a recruitment poster featured a Bulldog wearing a U.S. helmet chasing a fleeing Dachshund in a German helmet. For the Marines, there’s no better breed to stand in as their “teufel hunden.” It didn’t take long for real Bulldogs to enlist. Jiggs, the first Marine Corps Bulldog, joined the ranks in 1922. He was buried with military honors after his death four years later. In 1957, Chesty I, named for Lt. Gen. Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller, Jr., became the first in a long line of Chestys to represent the Marines. For breed enthusiasts, it is easy to see why Bulldogs embody the Marine Corps motto, “Semper Fidelis” (always faithful). Tough, fearless, tenacious, and muscular, Bulldogs exemplify the fighting spirit of the Marine Corps. Read the rest at The American Kennel Club website.

All public forums should be open and uncensored

Paul Driessen A US District Court judge has ruled that President Trump may not block even rude or obnoxious criticism from his Twitter account, because it is a public forum that is protected by the First Amendment. The Justice Department says it might appeal, but I argue that the DOJ, White House and Trump Administration should instead embrace the decision, expand on it, and apply these legal principles and free speech guidelines to other arenas. After all, with the multitude of race, sexual orientation and other civil rights now protected by force of law, shouldn’t arguably the most vital and fundamental civil right also be protected? The right of free speech and free assembly, especially regarding one’s beliefs, interests and political viewpoints, and one’s ability to participate in discourse over important political and public policy matters?!? more...

Hillary Doubles Down on Deplorables

Jack Kemp forwardss this: Hillary and the Married Deplorables From the article: In this assignation of bigotry to, you know, the white working-class Americans who voted Trump, she makes clear that she just doesn’t listen, and didn’t get the message these voters were sending to the Democratic Party. This is the party that was supposed to be looking out for them, that always boasted it stood for the “little guy,” for the good jobs, fair wages, and tight labor market favorable to working families. Clinton is also giving these voters additional reasons to steer away from that party in the future. You can’t trust the Democrats who pretended to be horrified by her words. Her view is theirs, too. They are panting for the demographic shift they believe will give them the permanent majority. After all, Hillary also claimed she regretted her “deplorable” remarks, (or was that only because they helped cost her the election?), but here she was, repeating them again.

Palestinians? What Palestinians!

Timothy Birdnow Here is one from the archives. I thought it dovetails nicely with the piece below about the nature of the Palestinians and historical ignorance. Who owns Palestine? This is no idle question; the region has been the source of wars through all of history. Men have been fighting over that tiny strip of land since the Chaldeans, and the concept of ownership remains hazy in the minds of modern men. Today the Jews hold large segments of it, and they are being challenged by the "Palestinians", Muslim peoples who claim Israel "stole" it from them. Who has the more valid claim? more...

Historical Ignorance and the Palestinians

Bob Redmond: A letter to the Editor in today's St Louis Post Dispatch: "I was not the least bit surprised by the letter to the editor from Gerald Greiman and Andrew Rehfeld of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis When is the world going to recognize that the true terrorists are the Israelis? First they drove more than 750,000 innocent Palestinians from their land, stole their homes and property, and have virtually enslaved them for the past 70 years and continue to kill them almost on a daily basis. In typical fashion, the Jewish Federation jumps to claim its anti-Semitism excuse, the standard defense of any complaint against Israel or the Jewish community. But perhaps just as appalling is that the Christian community and the media at large have not stood up and demanded a stop to such killing. For that there is no excuse. What can be said? more...

Deroy Murdock commentary: EPA's Pruitt is far cleaner than critics claim

Paul Driessen

US Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt has been subjected to unceasing barrages of criticism – for having "unnecessary” security, getting a "below market rate” Washington, DC "apartment” to sleep in when he is in Washington, and other alleged offenses. In this article, journalist and commentator Deroy Murdock demolishes these politicized assertions, noting that repeated threats to Pruitt and his family make the security more than justified, and that the "apartment” was merely a single bedroom that Pruitt rented for the going rate for that area.

Of course, the real reason Mr. Pruitt is under scrutiny and attack is that he challenges claims that humanity and planet are threatened by imminent manmade climate change disasters, and that he has overturned Obama era EPA rules that had little or no foundation in scientific data and evidence.
