Climate Crisis Crackup

Timothy Birdnow

We are winning!

Joe Nova observes:

Deniers are everywhere. The race is on to be a skeptic now — Kemi Badenoch vows to repeal Climate Change Act

FTTA:

Sir Kier Starmer was a star at the last COP meeting in Azerbaijan, but this year he doesn’t even want to go to the next COP meeting in Brazil. Apparently his aides "are worried about being criticized by the Reform UK party.” Only two years ago Starmer was criticizing Rishi Sunak for missing COP27, now he’s too scared to go himself lest he look crazy-green.

Everywhere countries are saying they care about climate change but are doing the opposite. The EU nations are fighting over their 2035 and 2040 emissions targets, Mexico is borrowing up to keep its oil company afloat, Canada scrapped their carbon tax, and is being "coy” about their 2030 target. Governor Gavin Newsom just boosted oil drilling in California "a year after he described the industry as the "polluted heart of this climate crisis.”

Science has started overtaking the false narrative and so many things have come to light the Gang Green cannot put those genii back in their bottles. Meanwhile the public has come to realize that, after forty five plus years, the media and science establishment has been lying to us all along. So many failed predictions. So many doomsday scenarios, and none have come to fruition. Furthermore, the ruling class has not lived at all as if this were a crisis, buying beachfront property and continuing to fly in their private jets and whatnot. It has become clear climate change is a scam, a con, a grift. Oh, maybe there has been some climate warming over the last few decades, but there is no evidence that was in any way a result of industrial emissions and that we need to end human civilization as we know it to fight this "problem". In fact, fewer people have starved as the planet has supposedly become too warm. The only reason for a very modest rise in hunger is because of the Covid lockdowns which disrupted the food chain (as I predicted it would.)

The fact is everything remains pretty much the same, exactly as the father of global warming theory, Roger Revelle, said it would. Ravelle thought a modest warming would happen a curiosity more than anything. He was right and the doomsdayers wrong.

The Europeans have long pushed for these climate change accords because it is a tool to restrict their primary competitor - the United States. They thought to seduce our leaders into tying our hands heind our backs. It almost worked too. But Trump has shown what the Bible means when it says "I will destroy them with the sword of my mouth and the brightness of my coming". It just took one important person to stand up and say "NO!"

We know the Russians were promoting this, and green energy, in the West so they could wind up with the only fuel the Europeans could purchase when it failed. Ditto the Chinese.

It was a kind of madness, like dancing sickness or the tulip bulb craze; everyone rushing to the cliff's edge because everyone else was so rushing.

I've long compared it to Orson Wells' War of the Worlds show/hoax. Only Wells' version lasted just a day or so while the climate grif has gone on for a full generation. But in the end there wre no Martians and there are no doomsdays caused by plant fertilizer.

People are FINALLY starting to wake up to that fact. I would say the Covid con was what finally led people to start questioning what "experts" were telling them and look into the matter. They started using that squishy gray think at the top of their necks and found the conventional wisdom was sorely lacking.

Of course the Left dare not give this up; it is too lucrative and gives them too much of what they have sought. There was immense power and profit for them in it and it will be hard to find another scheme with so much promise. So they will keep trying to resurrect it.

We have to be there to stop them.

This was never about science but power and control and money, and in the utopian vision of the anointed to create a new world order, one without private enterprise or borders or religion. That's what it has always been about.

Leo Does the TDS Twostep

Timothy Birdnow

More stupidity from our Barack Obama Pontiff.

Pope Leo's comments on 'inhuman treatment of immigrants' in U.S. offend some conservatives

What, disapproving of abortion isn't pro-life? Opposing euthanasia isn't pro-life? Wanting people to labor for themselves and make their own lives in dignity isn't pro-life? (The Bible says, not Donald Trump, that he who will not work shall not eat.)

What is the "inhamane treatment" that makes Trump not pro-life?

FTA:

Leo, a Chicago native, was asked about plans by Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich to give a lifetime achievement award to Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin for his work helping immigrants. The plans drew objections from some conservative U.S. bishops opposed to abortion, given that Durbin is a pro-choice Democrat.

Leo said he wasn't familiar with the specific initiative, but that the "overall work" of the senator could be considered as it "related to the teachings of the Church."

"Someone who says I'm against abortion but is in favour of the death penalty is not really pro-life," Leo told reporters on Tuesday. "Someone who says I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life.

Sooo...the Catholic Church, which condemns abortion as an act of murder, wants to honor one of the principle backers of murder and Leo is o.k. with that.

This is rather like the Bishop of, say, Berlin wanting to honor Joseph Mengele. Oh, he was pro-life because his research was going to help sick people!

Leo's statement is an enormous non-sequiter; the topics he jumbled together here are completely different and the argument can and must be made that they are in no way similar. The death penalty is quite Biblical.

Take for example:

Leviticus 20:8
10 " ‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.

Leviticus 20:8
13 " ‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Exodus 21:12
12 "Anyone who strikes a person with a fatal blow is to be put to death.

Exodus 21:16
16 "Anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper’s possession.

Exodus 22:19
19 "Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.

Exodus 21:17
17 "Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.

Genesis 9:6
6 "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.

Romans 13:1-7

4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

Matthew 5:17

17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Leviticus 21:9
9 " ‘If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.

I could go on but you get the point.

Scripture says the King aka government has "the power of the sword" to "punish evildoers". There is no debate about it; God Himself commands we occasionally use the power of execution. It's His job to sort it all out at that point.

So how does support for the death penalty equate to being not pro-life? God Himself commanded the death penalty; the Israelites didn't just make it up themselves.

And of course Pope Francis, er, Leo knows full well that there has been no formal condemnation of capital punishment by the Church and the matter is still open for debate. Read this for the Catholic arguments for capital punishment. The Magisterium has not formally condemned it, nor has any of Leo's predecessors. Yes, some former Popes have rejected it, but that is their personal opinion and in no way binds Catholics.

Meanwhile all Popes have rejected abortion. Pope Benedict XIV gave it the Church's highest condemnation in In his encyclical Deus Caritas Est (2005)

And I ask you who is pro-life? Is it pro-life to let killers wander loose to kill again? Was it pro-life to let that guy loose who killed that Ukrainian girl on the subway? When evaluating life one must weigh ultimate harm against innocents verses the compromised "right to life" that the criminal enjoys. And there are some crimes that are for God to decide; we can only act pragmatically.

Would Leo have supported letting Hitler off? Stalin? Mao? Pol Pot? If not why not?

In fact both justice and human dignity require the death penalty on occasion. Otherwise we are spitting in God's face, saying we know better than does He.

As for his ridiculous comparison between controlling our borders and abortion, I give you this passage from the Bible:

John 10:1

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."

Now Jesus was speaking about the Kingdom of Heaven and He Himself was the door, but Bible passages often have more than one meaning and I think this statement illustrates perfectly the moral problem with illegal immigration; it is a climbing in another way. Jesus was quite clear in calling such people "thief and robber". Illegal immigrants are thieves and robbers and that is a fact. The come to steal jobs, steal social services, steal taxpayer money in other ways, and especially in these latter days have done so with no intention of actually becoming Americans but rather in milking America for what they can get. Much of the Mexican economy, for instance, is predicated on remittances from their citizens from the U.S.

Why bother reforming your economy when you can just steal from your neighbor? You can play with socialism and the other stupidity and never pay the price.

The Bible has always made it plain that nations are supposed to exist, going back to God's breaking up the empire of Nimrod and his babbling tower. Israel was supposed to subsume the nations of Canaan, but only if they accepted Judaism. They were supposed to be tolerant of foreigners (because it was their job to spread worship of God) but they were never commanded to change their laws and ways for them. That is what the illegal immigration has done to America (and does to most nations if too many immigrants come.) Israel was condemned by God for allowing aliens to influence their culture to the point He twice uprooted the whole lott of them. Much of the apostacy suffered by Israel in those days was because they were taking in too many aliens as they conquered parts of the Holy Land.

And how is asking these people to just go home inhuman treatment? Did we do what other nations do to such peoples? Mexico's laws are far stricter than our own and these folks would have been evicted in short order if they hadn't been migrating to the U.S. (which Mexico wanted them to do as part of the "reconquista".) These people were fed, given new clothes, decent housing (shoot; in New York City and in California they were living in luxury hotels where native born Americans couldn't afford to visit), were treated with respect.

So ICE has started rounding up criminal illegals, people who have done bad things back home and here in the States, and Leo gets his cassock in a bunch.

Governments are supposed to protect the innocents from crime. It's one of their primary reasons for existing. Letting people suffer from the vile acts of evildoers is what is inhumane.

We have treated the illegals as humanely as any people in history ever did. I dare him to visit an ICE detention camp and prove me wrong! But like all liberals he just spouts easy words that support his worldview without any actual facts to back it up.

(BTW Leo is allegedly a devotee of St. Augustine and claims to be heavily influenced by him. I've read Augustine in no small measure and can attest to the fact Auggie is diametrically opposed to much of this Progressive stupidity espoused by Leo and his bestie Francis. Just one example is Augustine's theory of just war, which is applicable to U.S. immigration policy today.)

Leo said:

"sometimes decisions are made more based on economics than on human dignity" in the U.S.

Well, these immigrants bsed THEIR decisions on economics in the first place so naturally it's an issue. They are here to clean up where they lacked the opportunity back home. But what happens when a large swath of a country leaves? How is anything fixed there? That is just passing the problem along to us, outsourcing it. In fact it is a gentle invasion of America, one designed to ease problems in the Third World but to overwhelm the American system. Read the work of Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven if you want to understand this left-wing policy and how it applies to immigration. They taught radicals to overwhelm the system to destroy it and usher in the era of socialism and Godlessness. Leo seems not to understand any of this.

"Human dignity" is a fungible term that can mean anything. It can be argued that a man wearing a little girl's dress and holding a lollipop must be treated the same way we would treat anyone else because of "human dignity" even though that person, through mental illness or whatever, has rejected human dignity themselves. But economics are hard facts and they cannot be ignored. I would argue we have treated illegal aliens with enormous amounts of human dignity. Other countries would have thrown them in horrible prisons until they could be kicked out.

The article continues:

Canadian Cardinal Michael Czerny, a senior adviser to both Francis and Leo, said the new pope was following an instruction given by St. Paul, a first-century leader of Christianity: "Preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season."

"[Leo] encourages and challenges each local Church and each Christian, faced with complex and urgent issues, to live the Gospel," Czerny told Reuters.

There is nothing "complex" about the issue of illegal immigration; we have people openly breaking our laws and that for their own economic benefit. We take in more immigrants than any nation in history since perhaps the Barbarian Invasions of Rome (and they came in peacefully, not militarily in most cases.) We are being overrun; there are at least 20 million illegals in this country and probably more. We have sixty million aliens here - legal and illegal - and that is comfortably more than the population of Canada and over double that of Australia. We have a duty to our own citizens to stop the flood of aliens into this country - legal and illegal. Our nation cannot survive this deluge and even a dimwit should be able to see that. America has done great good in the world and deserves to survive; doing what you believe is a kind thing at the expense of your own life is not required of Christians. It especially isn't required for the wrong cause.

We have no divine order to commit national suicide.

So this Pope buys a few attaboys from the liberal press at great cost to his home country and to the world at large. Remember your Dante' your Eminence; Antenora is the place for traitors to kin and country.

Oh, and Leo isn't "preching the word" but rather his own opinion and the opinoin of his friends and benefactors. He would have kept his mouth shut on this subject if he were.

The article continues:

Leo was a relative unknown on the global stage before his election in May. He spent most of his career as a missionary in Peru, where Allen said he developed a desire to care for immigrants and speak up for social causes.

"He understands the priority of the abortion issue, but he's not going to be somebody that says that's far more important than immigration," she said.

Bullshit. Pope Benedict issued the highest injunction against abortion, which is the conscious, willful murder of an innocent. In his papal bull he said it had the Church's highest condemnation, making it fall just barely short of a ruling ex-cathedra (infallible). Immigration is not a settled matter in the Church nor is it anywhere near as clear. Many aliens are criminals and we have been forced to round up such before they kill people (as so many have now done).

(The last ex-cathedra ruling by a Pope was in 1959 when the Church ruled Mary was bodily assumed into Heaven.)

Leo has simply made a fool of himself here. He shows he is more interested in friendship with the world then in actually fighting for justice. There is no justice in promoting an invasion of a country out of some misplaced idea of the poor. If we want to help the poor we first stop enabling their governments. Caring for the poor does not mean forcing people to wander the Earth for money, and sending their children with molesters to be sold in the skin trade or work as slaves.

Leo won't care about any of this; his is an easy, virtue signaling Christianity, just like Pope Francis. These are very serious times that call for a serious Pontiff. Instead we have Pauley Shore.

God is punishing Mankind by allowing these two lousy Popes to impose their errors. We need to ask God to forgive us and pray for Leo, that he may be granted wisdom by the Lord.

The Lying Polls

Timothy Birdnow

Despite claims Trump is polling poorly, the fact remains he is doing better than Barrack Obama did in his first year in office.

Never believe polls or the media.

The fact is there is now way the public has turned on Trump. Inflation is actually down to a normal levels (what we had prior to Biden) and the economy is growing despite all the panic over tariffs. Trump has us at peace in the world. Trump is restoring pride in America. Trump has essentially ended all illegal immigration to the U.S. He is opening oil and gas production again. Regulations are being removed. He is spending less money. He's restored order in D.C. and in California and is going to do so elsewhwere. There are few downsides to his Presidency, certainly not enough to have the public turning on him.

So all these polls coming out claiming he's tanking are lies. Why not? The pollsters know they won't be checked by election just yet and it then becomes their word v. others. Polls have long been designed to lead public opinion, not reflect it.

My wife worked as a pollster for a while and she was astonished at the way they work; they just promote the Democrats and didn't care about accuracy. (These are the public polls; there are secret, internal polls for the political parties and the media, no doubt, which actually DO look for accuracy so they can plan, but the public never gets these.)

So polls are taken far out from elections and desinged to favor Democrats and liberal causes. As elections near they suddenly change, and become more accurate because the pollsters are afraid of losing their credibility. Granted, every poll was slanted where Trump has been concerned because they thought the stakes were so high they had to risk sticking their necks out. Now fewer people trust the polls - and well they should not.

We are still far enough out the pollsters want to start an anti-Trump bandwagon. They hope to turn opinion against the Orange Peril and thus win Congressional seats for their party.

Right now we are in the gaslighting season. Don't believe a word of it.

Biggs Running for Az Governor

Timothy Birdnow

Congressman Andy Biggs is running for Governor in Arizona.

Biggie has the name recognition to win in this critical swing state. And if he wins, and the GOP win the Secrettary of State seat, things are going to change in John McCain's purplish fiefdom.

We might flip Arizona completely red.

Biggs said it:

"we're going to make Arizona the freest, most Republican state in the country.”

His competition is a limousine liberal Republican Karen named Karrin Taylor Robson, whose 95 year old monopoly man husband is underwriting her campaign. Robson got trounced in the last election by Kari Lake and she looks to get trounced by Biggs, who holds a whopping 24 point lead over her at 55% to 31%.

Of course Katey Hobbs stole the election from kari Lake last time and may be able to do so again if it is even remotely close.

Robson supports giving illegal aliens all manner of goodies like in-state tuition for illegal aliens in Arizona state universities and "reaching across the aisle" to Democrats so they can bite off the Republican hands.

Let us hope Biggs has a replacement capable of holding his seat; we need all hands in Congress now and I hate to lose him.

What's Racism Got to Do with It?

Timothy Birdnow

This from the party that gave America Robert Byrd.

Hopeless Hypocrites: Same Dems Calling Jeffries Sombrero Meme Racist Fought to Put Blackface Kimmel Back on TV

Byrd was actually a grand cyclops, or grand cleagle, or whatever they call their ripest cheese, in the Ku Klux Klan and he was an honored Senator for decades - a DEMOCRAT.

And it was the Democrats who opposed the Civil Rights ACt, not Republicans.

Naturally Trump poking fun at Democrats with Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero led to immediate charges of "racism!" I would like these people to actually give a definition of racism, a concrete definition. The word has stretched like Plastic Man until it no longer has any meaning at all except "you suck".

Racism is a specific thing, and it means to HATE other races and wish them ill. It is NOT having a little fun at the Democrat's expense. Back in the '70's they used to use a term "prjudice" which was a catch-all that the word racist now replaces, and it meant out of ignorance or perhaps even out of a poor-taste sense of humor feeding into stereotypes. It was itself created to tar anyone on the right, but it lacked the punch of racist so it was retired in favor of the more vile term. Racism equates with Naziism and the Klan and other truly evil things.

How, pray tell, does an AI image of Jeffries - a black man - in a sombrero (a Mexican and other Latin American article of clothing) insult anyone BUT Mr. Jeffries? What if they had put Jeffries in a big afro hairdo and had him holding fried chicken, would that be better? That at least would be a "racist" representation that comports with Mr. Jeffries background. They would have a case if Trump had done that (although I think we all need to lighten up a bit on good-natured charicaturing). I would point out that until recent years political cartoonists often portrayed politicians as obesely fat and nobody thought the worse of that. Now you can only do such things to Christians and MAGA folks.

If the Democrats and the media don't like this they shouldn't practice it against the other side. The do such things all the time to Conservatives. Look at the things they said and did about Rush Limbaugh because he had a weight problem, for instance. And of course if they aren't poking fun at Conservatives they are calling us Hitler and Fascists and saying we hate all Mankind. Look at what's been said about Charlie Kirk in recent weeks! That's apparently o.k. while it's not o.k. to use a computer to put a sombrero on Hakeem Jeffries.

Saul Alinski said ridicule is Man's most potent weapon and the Democrats and the media understand the power of what Mr. Trump is doing here; he's ridiculing Jeffries and the Democrats and they have no way to stop it. Their solution is to scream "RACIST!" because they can't answer this in any way. And they dare not allow Republicans to ridicule them because then they look weak and stupid and everyone laughs at them as they are walking away.

It's why the media wouldn't allow a single laugh at Obama; he had to be protected from any and all ridicule, despite his being a ridiculous stick-figure of a man with enormous Dumbo elephant ears and a face that resembled the Joker from Batman. Remember when Maureen Dowd made a crack about his ears and he personally confronted her and demanded she desist "I'm sensitive about my ears" and Dowd said "I was trying to toughen you up". That set the tone; the media would allow not one single light-hearted crack about Obama in any way. They had read their Alinsky.

Jimmy Kimmel has appeared in blackface more than once publicly, by the way. Why wasn't that racist?

Why wasn't it racist when Hillary Clinton met with black supporters (I believe it was the NAACP but don't recall exactly) and adopted a black southern accent "I ain't in now ways tired, I come to far to turn back now" she said in a Souther Baptist drawl. That wasn't the first time she would do that, and it wasn't the last. It was entirely disingenuous; Hillary is the whitest of white bread women, born and raised in Chicago (she still has a Chicago accent after all these years elsewhere) and spending her youth in Washington and the surrounding areas. Her only exposure to the South was her years in Little Rock, and she lived in the Governor's mansion most of them and thus was not exposed to Southern ways. I doubt she had any friends down there (she's a horribly dislikable person) and those she did were very wealthy and did not rub elbows with poor people, white or black. Yet Hillary was given a pass for insulting black Southerners. Trump puts one sombrero and one mustache on a BLACK American and he's somehow being racist.

The article points to a series of statement by Chuck U. Schumer (Rush Limbaugh used to call him that) that were both startlingly candid and probably why Chuckie is in so much trouble now with his party:

"Nobody likes Democrats anymore.

We have no voters left because of all of our woke trans bulls***.

Not even black people want to vote for us anymore.

Even Latinos hate us, so we need new voters.
Advertisement - story continues below

And if we give all these illegal aliens free healthcare, we might be able to get them on our side, so they can vote for us.

They can’t even speak English, so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of s***, you know, at least for a while, until they learn English.

And they realize they hate us, too.

I haven't verified these statement - they were part of the article I cited from Western Journalism. I suspect a few of them are not accurate. But he no doubt did say something similar (if less vitriolic) and he and the other old line leaders of the party undoubtedly realize that the Democrats have walked down a cul-de-sac and are now facing an unclimbable wall. So they have to attack, attack, attack; it's all you can do when your back is against the wall.

It's all Democrats know HOW to do anyway. They haven't had to fight a defensive battle since FDR, or at least Jimmy Carter.

So the "sombrero is racist" accusation is what is left them. Such attacks always worked in the past. They just don't understand Mr. Trump is cut from a different cloth than the career Republicans who have haunted the Capital all these years. Oh, and the media is not trusted. And people video this stuff with their phones so the Democrats can't deny it any longer. And the Democrats have overused racism, much like the Boy Who Cried Wolf. They have nothing new to deploy at this point.

I wonder what they think of people like, say, Harry Belafonte' and his songs about Carribean laborers? How is The Banana Boat Song any better than Jeffries in a Sombrero? Are the Democrats ready to denounce the late Belafonte' as a racist? He was certainl a good Democrat.

Johnson Destroys Demo Claim

Timothy Birdnow

Mike "Tiny" Johnson cites chapter and verse with Fox News host John Roberts on the Democrat budget proposal.

"I say they obviously have not read their bill. This counterproposal that he filed, everybody can Google it, go pull it up. It’s on the Senate’s website and in the legislative text,” Johnson said. "Go to page 57 of Chuck Schumer’s bill and look at section 2141. It says right there in plain language [that] they want to repeal the health provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

Roberts hemmed and hawed and said it wsn't clear. I guess not to a guy whose only qualification is a degree in journalism.

The B cubed bill kicked unqualified people off medicaid rolls, including many illegal aliens. All these people will simply be put back on if Chuck U. Schumer gets his way.

The sky did not fall when the BBB passed and the Democrats know that. They are trying to win a battle they already lost.

Of course the media will carry Chuckie's water and say Republicans are trying to kill your poor old granny. But I suspect this doesn't work as well as it once did and anyone who is interested can find the arguments involved.

The Pagan Pope Leo: the Heretic

Timothy Birdnow

Don't say I didn't warn you about this Chicago Democrat turned Pope.

‘Pope Leo Blesses a Block of Ice as Communist Freaks Do Weird Pagan Ritual’: Walsh

Frrom Lifezette:

Pope Leo XIV participated in a climate change event on Wednesday, blessing a block of ice as part of a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si, the encyclical issued by the late Pope Francis urging Catholics to take responsibility for environmental protection.

The ceremony took place before an audience where the pontiff placed his hand on the ice block and offered a prayer.

"Lord of Life, bless this water, may it awaken our hearts, cleanse our indifference, soothe our grief, and renew our hope, through Christ our Lord,” Pope Leo said as water dripped from the melting block.

The act immediately generated reactions online, with some conservative Catholic commentators questioning the symbolism.

This while there has been an ongoing genocide of Christians throughout the Middle East, and abuses of Christians throughout the world, including in the U.S. Why doesn't this Pope go to, say, Minneapolis and pray for an end to Anti-Christian violence? Instead he''s praying over ice.

Now, I like a nice cocktail with plenty of ice as much as the next man but doesn't he have ANYTHING better to do?

Why isn't he calling out the rising immorality of all the nations? That is a real problem and will lead many to damnation. Why isn't he calling out the peddlers of transgenderism and the suffering they are causing young people by brainwashing them into sexual mutilation?

No, he's worried about a fraction of a degree of warming across the entire planet.

That is, frankly, a kind of paganism. It's the worship of Mother Gaia over God Almighty.

If you doubt this is a neo-pagan view just take a gander at this:

According to the Associated Press, the pontiff said he hoped the upcoming United Nations climate conference "will listen to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor.

So now the Earth is "crying" and the poor are doing likewise, eh? The Earth can't cry; it's an inanimate object, one created for us by God. Giving it this anthropomorphic appearance is what a nature worshipping pagan would do.

And as for the poor, a warmer world means MORE FOOD! Crops have increased during this period of global warming (alleged) and we do know the Earth has greened in the last fifty years. Starvation is down. Yet here Pope Leo warns the poor are "crying" and he bemoans the fact while sitting in his palace amidst one of the largest treasuries on Earth. If he is so concerned for the poor why doesn't he give the Church's wealth to, say, the Congo, or Bengladesh?

The reality is the poor are doing better thanks to capitalism and "climamte change" and if Leo knew anything at all he would know that. If he were serious about making good policy for the Church he would invite skeptics in who would dispute the Climate Change shibboleth. But he doesn't do that because he's as bad as Pope Francis, in all probability.

Naturally he would never speak to the skeptics. He said:

"It is regrettable that leaders choose to deride the evident signs of climate change, to ridicule those who speak of global warming and even to blame the poor for the very thing that affects them most,”

Who blames the poor for global warming? And who ridiculues whom? People who question the theory, even in a modest fashion, have had their careers destroyed and lives turned upside-down for not accepting the orthodoxy. In fact many scientists had to wait until they were gone from places like NASA before they could freely express their doubts. Joanna Simpson was the first woman climatologist at NASA and she said she had to keep her doubts to herself or risk rruining her career. Roy Spencer pretty much waited until he was out of NASA and at UAH before he expressed his doubts. I could go on and on. Anyone who ever argued against climate change theory has been mocked and abused.

The same does not hold true for the climate alarmists and if Leo knew the difference between his outgoing cavity and a sinkhole he would know that.

Leo apparently doesn't know of the 33,000 signatures on the Oregon Petition, scientists who signed a petition disputing alarmist climate change theory. He apparently doesn't know all the holes in the models, from the pause which was unexplained by the theory to the failure to rise at the rate they claim to the failure of the sea levels to increase in any meaningful way their rate of rise. He doesn't know that ICESAT showed increased ice levels in East Antarctica. He doesn't know that there has been no increase in precipitation worldwide, or that the Earth's albedo hasn't increased (which all the models say should happen).

And he doesn't want to know, apparently, or he would seek counsel from skeptics as much as from true believers.

True believers; that is what the environmentalist movement has and it proves them to be a religion at odds with Christianity. This Pope is promoting pagan nature worship.

Georgia on Her Mind

Timothy Birdnow

She couldn't pass for a Georgian in the Caucasus, much less a Daughter of the Confederacy...

Georgia's New Gov Candidate Says, 'I'm as Georgia as We Come,' While Wearing a Hijab

Iff you are an immigrant from Jordan you are not a Georgian.

The author assumes she is Muslim and while that is a good bet she could in theory be another religion; there are christians in Jordan and a few others. But she likely is a Muslim from the Middle East.

BTW the alliance between Islam and the Democrats should surprise noone. Whenever Muslims took over a country they imposed an agenda that is shockingly similar to the agenda of the Democratic Party. They forgave all private debts. They raised taxes, particularlly on non-Muslims. They confiscated businesses and housing and gave them to the politically connected. They created large welfare programs. They restricted free speech and free press and definitely free religious expression. They centralized power. And when they were done the once wealthy nations that they conquered looked a lot like California does now.

That such a woman dares to run for so high profile a position is itself a sign that America has lost it's soul and no longer defends itself from alien influences.

Old King Coal

Timothy Birdnow

Donald Trump wants to be King Coal, and he's re-opening all the coal fired plants and doubling down on coal mining. In fact he's offering $650 million to renovate and restore coal to her rightful place in American energy.

Read about it at the Associated Press/

America is the unquestioned king of coal; we have reserves that are staggering, and they dwarf our biggest competitors. Tap that alone and we would have dirt cheap electricity.

But of course the eco-left labored for decades to sequester our coal out of fear of environmental damage (and mostly to hamstring the American economy, which they see as imperialistic and capitalistic.) But there are all sorts of ways to clean atmospheric emissions now but the Gang Green refused to let us use them because they wanted to control our energy flow. (I've explained before about hydraulic empires and how what they are doing with energy is essentially the same thing the Egyptians or Mesopotamians or Chinese did with water.) Now Trump is reopening these resources and scaling back on the wasteful and useless "renewables" which were not renewable at all because they required very environmentally dirty materials to tap.

St. Louis, my hometown, used to be the capital of coal; we had the largest coal producer in the world with Peabody Energy and we had the second largest with Arch Coal. Arch is gone now, bought out by a firm in Pennsylvania, I think, thanks to Obama and Biden's war on their product. I think Peabody is still top dog, and they will get more topped as the golden age of coal emerges.

At any rate the Trump revolution is making America strong again, and the economic explosion that will soon overcome this land will be unparalelled in our history. We think Reagan's revolution gave us unprecedented prosperity (which Bill Clinton rode) but it is nothing like what Trump's restructing will do. (We must win the Presidency next time or the Democrats will steal the credit just as Clinton did.)

Coal is the wave of the future, even if the Gang Green hates it.

The Dylan Mulvaney Effect and Clay Travis

Timothy Birdnow

Clay Travis is a good conservative but not really a very smart one in my humble opinion. I am always struck by how poorly he reasons.

On his show a caller wanted to boycott the NFL for putting "Bad Bunny" on the Superbowl halftime lineup. Bad Bunny is a jerk from Puerto Rico who is also a transvestite and hates the United States, yet the NFL booked him to headline the coveted halftime show.

it's a no-brainer; they may as well have asked Dylan Mulvaney to sing the National Anthem. Anheuser Bush suffered a huge hit and had tto crawl to their customers for forgivenesss when they hired Mulvaney as a spokesman, and he wasn't going to get the kind of attention this Butt Boney guy will get.

Travis argued with the man, saying we shouldn't "disengage" because we lose any influence we had. How do you square that? WE DON'T HAVE ANY INFLUENCE AS IT IS IF THEY WERE WILLING TO DO THIS TO US.

In fact the NFL has repeatedly insulted it's fans, with the whole Colin Kapernick taking a knee thing and a host of other such outrages. The reason they are happy to hirre this Bunny guy is because they have always gotten away with it while people like Travis, who want to just watch football, let them off the hook and are excused by a guy like that, who ultimately doesn't let his convictions get in the way of his enjoyment of the game. That is why our side so often loses; we seek excuses to not do the right thing.

The right thing is to cut the NFL off and not give them our money.

If you must have football go to the UFL, or some other alternative. Watch college ball. But for the love of all things holy stop giving your money and your eyeballs to an organization that hates you. The NFL holds white working Americans - the core of MAGA - in utter contempt. We must show them the same courtesy.

Clay Travis is a very, very poor substitute for Rush Limbagh.

The Final Countdown?

Timothy Birdnow

Is the Ukraine preparing a false flag attack on NATO to draw the alliance into their war with Russia? At least some people think so.

It has become more likely since Trump gave the go-ahead to attack inside of Russia itself from other Eastern European nations if there are any Russian incursions.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has predicted the imminent outbreak of World War III, if Hungarian media reports about Kiev’s plans to stage a false flag operation in Romania and Poland are confirmed.

In her Telegram channel, she drew attention to reports in several Hungarian media outlets about Vladimir Zelensky’s plans to carry out sabotage in Romania and Poland with the aim of blaming Russia.

"His office on Bankovaya Street is preparing its own version of the ‘Gleiwitz incident’ – with the aim of creating a casus belli for a war between Russia and NATO,” she explained. "If all this is confirmed, then we must admit: never in modern times has Europe been so close to the outbreak of World War III.”

And the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service is arguing likewise.

Of course, these are the Russians and it could just as easily be their plan to attack NATO countries and play innocent. But that requires a bit too much and could well draw NATO into the conflict, a conflict they will win if they don't have to fight NATO directly.

I would point out that if reports are accurate, Russia is experiencing a major energy crisis as a result of Ukrainian drones striking oil refineries. Couple that with the manpower shortage they are experiencing and perhaps they realize they need to have a game changer. Maybe. If this reporting is correct.

German Chancellor Frederich Merz said:

"Let me put it in a sentence that may be a little shocking at first glance … we are not at war, but we are no longer at peace either,”

Which makes it obvious the E.U. is ready to go to war and the Russians are at the point of having to prevent this or they will have to use nuclear weapons.

As they article points out, Trump is planning to send Tomahawk cruise missiled to Ukraine, which would require American forces to operate. That would essentially be a state of war between the U.S. and the Russian Federation.

The Russians are about to take the Ukrainian city Kupiansk. Slowly, inexorably, the Russians are squeezing the life out of Ukraine and Zelensky knows it. (They have been engaged in a war of attrition all along and such wars take time.)

So a false flag would be eminently logical from Zelensky's point of view, and the Russians know it.

(BTW notice we never did find out who cut the cables in the Baltic or damaged the oil pipeline and it was blamed on the Russians, who had zero to gain from such an act. So it's probably happened before.)

At any rate the poo is about to hit the fan and we have a front row seat. Alas, where nuclear holocaust is concerned, the front row is not where you want to be.

Zizzians in a Tizzy

Timothy Birdnow

Meet the Zizzians, the trans terrorists.

Yes, they ARE organized and coming for decent folks everywhere.

Hulga from Flannery O'Connor's short story Good Country People would probably have been a Zizzian.

Texas Breaks Bar Association Power

Timothy Birdnow

We truly ARE in revolutionary times; things that were unthinkable just a few years ago are now happening.

Take this as a prime example:Texas is cutting the American Bar association out in acccrediting law schools in the state. Yes. they are breaking the power of the left-wing ABA, which has twisted law schools into DEI factories in recent years.

I've long argued the ABA and the AMA (in the case of medicine) and other professional guild associations have had a detrimental impact on society. They no longer just look at professional standards but now demand moral codes and speech restrictions to aid in the glorious task of remaking society into the Progressive utopia. It's gone on for decades and there has never any recourse because government backs them up.

These outfits promote political correctness first and only see what should be their primary mission as secondary.

So this is a most welcome development. And one I never thought I'd see in my lifetime.

This is how you restore a nation!

I've long analogized America to a river. The Left is the Army Corps of Engineers, and they build dams and levees and spillways and canals to channel the river where they wish it to go and that ususally works - until the big storms hit and their carefully planned channels are overturned by the fury of the water. Then the river flows back into it's original channel. They've done that with how Americans think, with our lifestyles and our culture and our traditions and they think to make such changed permanent. But in the end when times grow bad enough (as they did under Biden) the anger of the American People breaks the constraints and America returns to her natural course. That course predates the Leftist experiment and we are seing that right now. This is but one example of our return to a state of nature.

Leftism is wholly unnatural.

The question is how hard will the floodwaters flow? If the Corps gets their levees and dams and canals back in place it will fizzle out. We need this to be a one of a kind superflood, that washes away everything these arrogant snots have built.

Trump To Downsize Bureaucracy

Timothy Birdnow

I sure hope so!

HUGE: Trump Is About to Pull Off the Biggest Federal Workforce Cut in History

There are two excellent reasons to do so - to cut the size of government and thus save a huge amount of tax dollars that are being squandered and in the end will bring the country down and to defund the Democrat political machine. For decades Federal employees have been the core of the Democrats, funding them with tax dollars and providing the boots on the ground (often when such people are supposed to be at work) to push the Leftist agenda. Trump is now working to wreck this machine put in place.

Godspeed Mr. Trump!

Universities Discriminate against Americans

Timothy Birdnow

We have become second class citizens in our own country. Colleges care more about "diversity" than about their mission.

Top colleges give illegal-immigrant kids a boost — and put Americans second

So why are we funding these institutions with taxpayer dollars?
