Anderson Cooper Admits Letitia James Had It Out For Trump

She-campagned-on-"getting-Trump"-did-she-not?

FTA:

CNN host Anderson Cooper stated on Thursday that Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James had always planned to politically target President Donald Trump.

A federal grand jury indicted James on Thursday on allegations of bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution regarding a mortgage application for a property in Norfolk, Virginia. In response to the indictment, Cooper said on "Anderson Cooper 360” that James vowed to "sue” Trump after she had been elected in 2018.

"Jeff [Toobin], I mean, according to PolitiFact, the day after she was elected in 2018, Letitia James was asked by a community activist if she was gonna sue President Trump. And she said, ‘oh, we’re definitely gonna sue him. We’re gonna be a real pain in the ass. He’s gonna know my name personally.’ I mean, that’s not a great look for somebody who has just been elected, who has just been campaigning and hasn’t even looked, I guess, deeply at any evidence.”

Toobin, who once got caught masturbating during a Zoom call, said that attorneys general and district attorneys are politicians and make political statements. He also suggested that James is facing charges because she made those inappropriate statements about targeting Trump.

Blogging issues

Dear readers, (edited by Dana Mathewson)

Sorry, my computer has lost its space bar.

I just wanted to let you all know that my wife was in the hospital with sepsis and I had to ignore the blog for a time. She's out now but still in a nursing community.

Hopefully I'll be back up if and when the space bar starts working again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

House Bill H.R. 4117, the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act

Timothy Birdnow

Congress is finally taking action against California's control of auto emissions in the United States.

Can the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act save America’s auto industry from California?

As of now California sets our national policies in many ways, be it through emissions standards or low flow toilets or the ban on incandescent lightbulbs. All of those things came about because America's largest state economy demanded them and passed laws forcing companies to provide these things - and the companies, fearing losing so lucrative a market, agreed to push this stuff in all fifty states.

House Bill H.R. 4117, the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act seeks to repeal federal and state motor vehicle emission and fuel economy standards under the Clean Air Act.

It is likely California will use it's pet courts to block the revision of the law.

California is pushing an insane s environmentalist scheme of zero emission vehicles by 2035. Of course they will cry and whine when their power grid proves inadquate for all those plug in toys they are promoting. That is for the good to them; they will force people to use mass transit, to live close to their jobs in high rise apartments, and to double up so power outages aren't as bad. So typical of leftists, who want power and control.

The Digital Gestapo

Timothy Birdnow

Here's more on how Europe and canada are moving boldly forward with digital I.D. and "misinformation" control of the content of the internet.

While Americans Sleep, There Is Concern That Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe Continue to Implement "The Beast System”

There are huge fines if you disobey the cutoff order for internet services and the government won't let a company even disclose to the victim why their service was cut off (Facebook used to pull that crap on me.) Disclosing to the victim that it was a government orrder carries stiff penalties.

This is a very, very dangerous situation from the standpoint of liberty. Oh, and calling it the "Beast System" is entirely accurate; Europe and her spawn are hell bent on being hell bound.

Read it all.

How Biden Abused the TSA

Timothy Birdnow

What DID Biden do that wasn't tyrannical?

TSA abuse of no-fly lists was more Biden-era ‘quiet tyranny’

He abused average Americans at every turn.

BTW I opposed the creation of the TSA at the time for just this reason; it was ripe for abuse. And government workers never do a better job than private employees who can actually lose their jobs.

FTA:

It wasn’t just Tulsi Gabbard: The "quiet tyranny” under President Joe Biden saw no-fly lists used to punish countless average Americans.

Simply resisting mask mandates was enough to get19 Americans stuck on watchlists, more than half on no-fly lists, the Department of Homeland Security revealed Tuesday.

This would be demented atany time, but the targeting of non-maskers under Biden’s Transportation Security Administration chief David Pekoske was part of "Operation Freedom to Breathe” (such a sick name), which launched in September 2021 — long after the worst of the pandemic was over, and nearly six months after the CDC relaxed its rules on indoor masking.

So the Biden crew was penalizing Americans not for posing any danger to others, but for having the audacity to buck the regime’s obsessive micromanaging during COVID.

The TSA put another 280 people on watchlists, and five on no-fly lists, for alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 protests — on the basis of half-baked "intelligence,” such that one no-fly designation hit a National Guardsman who was deployed to DC for Biden’s inauguration

WSJ: Hegseth Needs "Gravitas"!

Timothy Birdnow

Hey Wall Street Journal, we voted against this sort of weak-kneed RINO crap!

The Embarrassing Pete Hegseth

You guys are the embarassment. Hegseth is making the military great again.

Too bad you clowns didn't get the memo.

From the article:

A lot of people in the Trump administration think this is their moment and America’s last chance. They know what time it is, you don’t, it’s later in the game than you think, the damage is great and right now is the final hope of constructive national change. A sense of urgency is their central driving force.
But when people get into a "last chance” mindset, they become insensitive to, less mindful of and careful about, what they come to think of as "constitutional niceties.” When it is constitutional niceties—respecting the other branches’ authority, knowing the limits on your own, knowing what’s your lane and what the traffic will bear—that have kept us going since 1789, when the new government began functioning.
You can lose a republic while trying to save a republic. No matter what your level of idiocy, you don’t want that, you can’t want it, so you have to be careful. And serious.

When you are driven by a sense of urgency you must still try to act like a normal person—normal in your comportment, which means sober, judicious. Not like some pumped-up drama queen who makes everything more jarring and fevered, and who comes across as the living answer to the question, "What would it look like if Captain Queeg took Adderall?”

end more...

Sophie's Choice

Timothy Birdnow

The woman who showed up at Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's home to kill him has been given just 8 years in prison.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh's would-be assassin sentenced to 8 years

The judge in the case credits the convicted felon - Sophie Roske - with turning herself/himself in. {S}he is also sentenced to lifetime probation after.

The article describes Roske as a man but with a woman's name. What does that tell us class?

There is no mention of who appointed the judge, -District Judge Deborah Boardman - which suggests it was either Joe Biden or Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmmmmmmmm!)

Prosecutors sought at minimum thirty years for the would-be assassin.

In eight years he can get out of prison and finish the job, in all likelihood.

At any rate we have yet another soft-on-crime judge letting someone off easy. Someone who made a dry run on a Supreme Court Justice.

Dry run indeed; I suspect this was a warning to the members of SCOTUS to send a message. The Left didn't want a martyr; they wanted to strike fear into the conservatives on the bench. A dry run is much more effective for that. And this person could then use mental disorder as a defense and provide an exculpatory surrender to the authorities. He'll be out in probably four years or less, and no doubt have a pile of cash waiting on the outside.

Has anyone interviewed Roske about possible connections? I suspect the FBI hasn't bothered. I do not trust anything in our political landscape anymore.

That is why prosecutors were seeking a thirty year sentence; they had to make it plain to the world that America would not tolerate assassination attempts. But then this soft-on-crime slime judge had different plans, apparently.

I get cutting his sentence a bit for cooperating, but by 22 years?

This whole thing stinks of a setup by the Left.

Canada's Days are Numbered

Timothy Birdnow

Alberta, Canada's western, oil rich province, may hold a pleibescite for independence and Donald Trump has promised to recognize an independent Alberta if they choose to leave the Soviet Republic of Canada.

https://thepatriotjournal.com/trump-admin-secede-canada/

While polls show such a plan going down in flames, the fact is Alberta's governor has extended the time to collect signatures and lowered the threshhold for signatures to put the measure on a ballot (from 600,000 to 177,000). Support for independence jumped from 25% to 36%, which is a sizable gain, although a loss of sixty percent would still be a bloodbath. But Brexit looked to be a lost cause until the votes were counted and Britain is now no longer officially a member of the European Union (although it's leaders simply refuseed to obey the will of the People and act as if they are still members.)Alberexit is being promoted by The Alberta Prosperity Project, a collection of businessmen and community groups.

Alberta is quite unhappy with the governance of the Liberal Party and Mark Carn-evil Carney. They believe they have more in common with Montana, or North Dakota, or even Texas, than with the people in Ontario or Quebec.

And Trump has promised to recognize their independence and perhaps even annex them if they so wish.

Alberta has suffered from the radical environmentalism of the Trudeau and Carney governments, and their standard of living has dorpped preciptiously thanks to draconian regulations on oil and gas drilling.

Canada as a nation never made all that much sense; it was simply territory the United States couldn't conqquer, and many Torys in the U.S. moved there after the American Revolution. It's primary identity is wrapped up in the idea it isn't the U.S. (which is why they elected Carney after Trump foolishly trolled them about annexation.) Their independence day is July 1, so it coincided with the American July 4, no other reason. They celebrate Thanksgiving in october instead of Novemember (an Americcan holiday) because of the cold, but sttill they borrowed our holiday. Their flag and their national anthem were designed by committees.

And they are two peoples, two cultures, united only by the fact they weren't Americans and were protected by the British. No other reason. They have no military heroes to speak of,and in fact they were livid when American forces accidentally bombed some of their troopos in Afghanistan, not because they lost people so much as because they were proud of not having lost anyone since WWII - what does that say about them? A military loses people or it's not fighting wars.

Canada is a nice, pleasant place with kind, overly polite people - a good place to live if you have no ambition. If you want more, try to make a business or live a bigger life, it's not the place for you. And God help you if you get sick and need specialized treatment!

Canada is French and Anglo. Two cultures generally do not get along well in one country, and the fact is Canada has always had a split personality. It's not a healthy union; obsessive politeness is one of their national attributes because they dare not speak their minds lest the whole thing fall apart. It's a bad marriage where the husband and wife pretend everything is great when they are seething underneath. Now Alberta is tired of the charade,as often happens in bad marriages.

I am not thrilled with annexing any part of canada; even the most conservative parts will probably wind up being purple states, nor red. And given the size of Alberta it would probably have to be broke up into several states. That could be good for us; we could wind up getting new Republican senators. But who knows? They could wind up being Democrats too. Certainly other Canadian provinces would.

Also, I rather like the existence of Canada. It's American in culture and language but not American. I like variety in life.

But I like the protection of the American Republic more, and if it is necessary to annex Alberta I say Welcome Aboard!

Any way you slice it I doubt the Dominion of Canada will last another hundred years; it has too little in common and is horribly mismanaged by the left which dominates the federal government. In the end it's not a stable country. And it is now overrun by illegal aliens and in time the character of Canada will change dramatically. Her days are numbered.

Wikipedia Gets Soros Money

Timothy Birdnow

We all suspected it to be true but now we know.

Shocker: Soros-Backed Tides Foundation Funding Wikipedia

Wikipedia is horribly biased and when a conservative tries to edit any wrongful information his edits are removed - even from top people in their field. S. Fred Singer used to complain bitterly about how his climate edits were simply removed, even though he was one of the most respected climatologists in America but he disagreeed with tha alarmist view. He didn't remove the alarmism from the article, just added some solid science.

And Wikipedia always comes up in the first position when doing a Google search. It's CROWD SOURCED which means it's hardly an authoritative study of facts, yet it is always at the top and the average person just looks at Wikipedia and nothing else. (I know my oldest brother does that.)

After reading about this Elon Musk deccided to launch Grokpedia, a competitor to Wikipedia. I doubt Google will give it a high rating, meaning few will see it.

Zero Hedge points out:

Here are all of Wikipedia's "reliable source". They include

MSNBC
NYT
Huffpost
Reddit
Snopes
Politifact
Rolling Stone
The Atlantic
Propublica
NPR
GLAADhttps://t.co/WvT6oEn7ag https://t.co/GsmWnpEA15

— zerohedge (@zerohedge) September 30, 2025

Yeah; a real reliable source of imformation!

The AI sources that are now available pull information heavily from Wikipedia and other Left-wing operations. Musk is simply trying to balance them out.

Control of information is the way the Left has risen to holding America and the world in thrall to their insane beliefs. They have power over information that the most despotic tyrants could only dream of, and they can control the thinking of the masses without a huge espionage state, but rather just by pretending they are independent entitites while all ships sail in the same direction. Wikipedia and Google are two cornerstones of that power.

God bless Elon Musk!

Bud-liting Netflix

Timothy Birdnow

(Pointing finger and with a tone of haughty derision) HAHA!

Value of Netflix Plummets $15 BILLION Amid Boycott Calls Over Shows Sexualizing Children

Very good; companies that promote this stuff need to suffer, and dearly. Netflix has been on the vanguard of DEI and sexual deviancy for a long time now and deserves to die a horrible death from the slow strangulation of economic patriots. Money is what they crave and money is what they need to lose.

The Left has used boycotts and gaslighting campaigns against corporations they do not like for decades (going back to the boycott of Coors Beer back in the seventies and maybe before) and Conservatives have been reluctant to use the power of the purse to punish (try saying that ten times fast!) It was always a kind of moral issue; we didn't want to hurt people's livelihoods because of their beliefs, or the beliefs of their bosses. But now we are starting to push back in this fashion and are just beginning to realize our enormous power. There are a LOT more of us than of them, and they rely on leveraging power from investors, many of whom are unaware the companies they bought stock in are pulling this. Now by hurting the corporate bottom line we are waking up investors, and they are moving elsewhere, leaving these wokeratti corporations in ruins.

Good; high time!

FTA:

"Netflix is in free fall,” the report said, "The streaming giant lost more than $15 billion in market value in just one week, according to Forbes, after Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk urged his 227 million followers to cancel their subscriptions ‘for the health of your kids.’”

Musk had been triggered by a Netflix cartoon called "Dead End: Paranormal Park,” which promotes transgenderism and bisexualism for children.

It was marketed to children as young as seven.
Finally, a Faith-Based, America-First Wealth Manager With No Allegiance to Wall Street, ESG, or DEI Agendas.

The X account Libs of TikTok had cited the offending materials: "Meet Hamish Steele, creator of a kid’s show on @netflix which teaches kids they can be transgender. After Charlie [Kirk] was ass*ssinated, he called Charlie a nazi and had a meltdown because people were mourning him. Netflix is SILENT. Their silence is deafening. CANCEL NETFLIX,”

The Netflix stock fell 2.4% over the week, even as Dow Jones Industrials were climbing.

Newsmax reported, "Musk’s boycott calls thus far have made a small dent in an otherwise strong year for Netflix’s stock and revenues. Shares are up 30% since January, when they traded around $886. In its July earnings report, the company posted a 16% year-over-year revenue increase to $11 billion, while net profit jumped 46% to $3.1 billion. Netflix also raised subscription prices by at least $1 across all plans at the start of the year.”

Chevron Refinery Burning

Timothy Birdnow

Color me skeptical. I am very suspicious about this fire.

Firefighters battle large blaze at Chevron refinery in Southern California

I strongly suspect it could be an act of environmental terrorism. We know there were arsonists involved in the Pallisades fire, for instance, and in fact with others in the Golden Shower State.

This was one of the last remaining oil refineries in California.

L.A. Mayor karen Bass did make a comment after they tracked her down to Camaroon or some such place. She blamed the fire on a lack of transgendered workers at the factory.

Comeback Cori

Timothy Birdnow

This should be jolly fun!

Corey Bush Atttempts Comeback in Congress

She is one of the dumbest people you will ever meet and should she win (not impossible in her ghetto district) she will present a wonderfully idiotic face for the ever-shrinking Democrats.

BTW she won't be replacing a MAGA man,but another idiot Democrat (sorry for the redundancy). It will just be a lateral move.

The truly stupid are too dumb do realize how stupid they are. It's like being an alcoholic; everyone around you knows before you realize it. Bush is so brainless she probably thinks she's a genius.

It'd be fun to have her back in the saddle; we need comedy relief.

BTW she has no chance of unseating Wesley Bell in a primary. Bell is not as crazy as Bush and is a heckuva lot better looking. He's an idiot liberal (but I repeat myself) but not as crazy as Corey. Good luck with that.

The Going Global Warming Grift

Timothy Birdnow

We are winning!

Joe Nova observes:

Deniers are everywhere. The race is on to be a skeptic now — Kemi Badenoch vows to repeal Climate Change Act

FTTA:

Sir Kier Starmer was a star at the last COP meeting in Azerbaijan, but this year he doesn’t even want to go to the next COP meeting in Brazil. Apparently his aides "are worried about being criticized by the Reform UK party.” Only two years ago Starmer was criticizing Rishi Sunak for missing COP27, now he’s too scared to go himself lest he look crazy-green.

Everywhere countries are saying they care about climate change but are doing the opposite. The EU nations are fighting over their 2035 and 2040 emissions targets, Mexico is borrowing up to keep its oil company afloat, Canada scrapped their carbon tax, and is being "coy” about their 2030 target. Governor Gavin Newsom just boosted oil drilling in California "a year after he described the industry as the "polluted heart of this climate crisis.”

Science has started overtaking the false narrative and so many things have come to light the Gang Green cannot put those genii back in their bottles. Meanwhile the public has come to realize that, after forty five plus years, the media and science establishment has been lying to us all along. So many failed predictions. So many doomsday scenarios, and none have come to fruition. Furthermore, the ruling class has not lived at all as if this were a crisis, buying beachfront property and continuing to fly in their private jets and whatnot. It has become clear climate change is a scam, a con, a grift. Oh, maybe there has been some climate warming over the last few decades, but there is no evidence that was in any way a result of industrial emissions and that we need to end human civilization as we know it to fight this "problem". In fact, fewer people have starved as the planet has supposedly become too warm. The only reason for a very modest rise in hunger is because of the Covid lockdowns which disrupted the food chain (as I predicted it would.)

The fact is everything remains pretty much the same, exactly as the father of global warming theory, Roger Revelle, said it would. Ravelle thought a modest warming would happen a curiosity more than anything. He was right and the doomsdayers wrong.

The Europeans have long pushed for these climate change accords because it is a tool to restrict their primary competitor - the United States. They thought to seduce our leaders into tying our hands heind our backs. It almost worked too. But Trump has shown what the Bible means when it says "I will destroy them with the sword of my mouth and the brightness of my coming". It just took one important person to stand up and say "NO!"

We know the Russians were promoting this, and green energy, in the west so they could wind up with the only fuel the Europeans could purchase when it failed. Ditto the Chinese.

It was a kind of madness, like dancing sickness or the tulip bulb craze; everyone rushing to the cliff's edge because everyone else was so rushing.

I've long compared it to Orson Wells' War of the Worlds show/hoax. Only Wells' version lasted just a day or so while the climate grif has gone on for a full generation. But in the end there wre no Martians and there are no doomsdays caused by plant fertilizer.

People are FINALLY starting to wake up to that fact. I would say the Covid con was what finally led people to start questioning what "experts" were telling them and look into the matter. They started using that squishy gray think at the top of their necks and found the conventional wisdom was sorely lacking.

Of course the Left dare not give this up; it is too lucrative and gives them too much of what they have sought. There was immense power and profit for them in it and it will be hard to find another scheme with so much promise. So they will keep trying to resurrect it.

We have to be there to stop them.

This was never about science but power and control and money, and in the utopian vision of the anointed to create a new world order, one without private enterprise or borders or religion. That's what it has always been about.

Leo Does the TDS Twostep

Timothy Birdnow

More stupidity from our Barack Obama Pontiff.

Pope Leo's comments on 'inhuman treatment of immigrants' in U.S. offend some conservatives

What, disapproving of abortion isn't pro-life? Opposing euthanasia isn't pro-life? Wanting people to labor for themselves and make their own lives in dignity isn't pro-life? (The Bible says, not Donald Trump, that he who will not work shall not eat.)

What is the "inhamane treatment" that makes Trump not pro-life?

FTA:

Leo, a Chicago native, was asked about plans by Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich to give a lifetime achievement award to Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin for his work helping immigrants. The plans drew objections from some conservative U.S. bishops opposed to abortion, given that Durbin is a pro-choice Democrat.

Leo said he wasn't familiar with the specific initiative, but that the "overall work" of the senator could be considered as it "related to the teachings of the Church."

"Someone who says I'm against abortion but is in favour of the death penalty is not really pro-life," Leo told reporters on Tuesday. "Someone who says I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life.

Sooo...the Catholic Church, which condemns abortion as an act of murder, wants to honor one of the principle backers of murder and Leo is o.k. with that.

This is rather like the Bishop of, say, Berlin wanting to honor Joseph Mengele. Oh, he was pro-life because his research was going to help sick people!

Leo's statement is an enormous non-sequiter; the topics he jumbled together here are completely different and the argument can and must be made that they are in no way similar. The death penalty is quite Biblical.

Take for example:

Leviticus 20:8
10 " ‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.

Leviticus 20:8
13 " ‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Exodus 21:12
12 "Anyone who strikes a person with a fatal blow is to be put to death.

Exodus 21:16
16 "Anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper’s possession.

Exodus 22:19
19 "Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.

Exodus 21:17
17 "Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.

Genesis 9:6
6 "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.

Romans 13:1-7

4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

Matthew 5:17

17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Leviticus 21:9
9 " ‘If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.

I could go on but you get the point.

Scripture says the King aka government has "the power of the sword" to "punish evildoers". There is no debate about it; God Himself commands we occasionally use the power of execution. It's His job to sort it all out at that point.

So how does support for the death penalty equate to being not pro-life? God Himself commanded the death penalty; the Israelites didn't just make it up themselves.

And of course Pope Francis, er, Leo knows full well that there has been no formal condemnation of capital punishment by the Church and the matter is still open for debate. Read this for the Catholic arguments for capital punishment. The Magisterium has not formally condemned it, nor has any of Leo's predecessors. Yes, some former Popes have rejected it, but that is their personal opinion and in no way binds Catholics.

Meanwhile all Popes have rejected abortion. Pope Benedict XIV gave it the Church's highest condemnation in In his encyclical Deus Caritas Est (2005)

And I ask you who is pro-life? Is it pro-life to let killers wander loose to kill again? Was it pro-life to let that guy loose who killed that Ukrainian girl on the subway? When evaluating life one must weigh ultimate harm against innocents verses the compromised "right to life" that the criminal enjoys. And there are some crimes that are for God to decide; we can only act pragmatically.

Would Leo have supported letting Hitler off? Stalin? Mao? Pol Pot? If not why not?

In fact both justice and human dignity require the death penalty on occasion. Otherwise we are spitting in God's face, saying we know better than does He.

As for his ridiculous comparison between controlling our borders and abortion, I give you this passage from the Bible:

John 10:1

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."

Now Jesus was speaking about the Kingdom of Heaven and He Himself was the door, but Bible passages often have more than one meaning and I think this statement illustrates perfectly the moral problem with illegal immigration; it is a climbing in another way. Jesus was quite clear in calling such people "thief and robber". Illegal immigrants are thieves and robbers and that is a fact. The come to steal jobs, steal social services, steal taxpayer money in other ways, and especially in these latter days have done so with no intention of actually becoming Americans but rather in milking America for what they can get. Much of the Mexican economy, for instance, is predicated on remittances from their citizens from the U.S.

Why bother reforming your economy when you can just steal from your neighbor? You can play with socialism and the other stupidity and never pay the price.

The Bible has always made it plain that nations are supposed to exist, going back to God's breaking up the empire of Nimrod and his babbling tower. Israel was supposed to subsume the nations of Canaan, but only if they accepted Judaism. They were supposed to be tolerant of foreigners (because it was their job to spread worship of God) but they were never commanded to change their laws and ways for them. That is what the illegal immigration has done to America (and does to most nations if too many immigrants come.) Israel was condemned by God for allowing aliens to influence their culture to the point He twice uprooted the whole lott of them. Much of the apostacy suffered by Israel in those days was because they were taking in too many aliens as they conquered parts of the Holy Land.

And how is asking these people to just go home inhuman treatment? Did we do what other nations do to such peoples? Mexico's laws are far stricter than our own and these folks would have been evicted in short order if they hadn't been migrating to the U.S. (which Mexico wanted them to do as part of the "reconquista".) These people were fed, given new clothes, decent housing (shoot; in New York City and in California they were living in luxury hotels where native born Americans couldn't afford to visit), were treated with respect.

So ICE has started rounding up criminal illegals, people who have done bad things back home and here in the States, and Leo gets his cassock in a bunch.

Governments are supposed to protect the innocents from crime. It's one of their primary reasons for existing. Letting people suffer from the vile acts of evildoers is what is inhumane.

We have treated the illegals as humanely as any people in history ever did. I dare him to visit an ICE detention camp and prove me wrong! But like all liberals he just spouts easy words that support his worldview without any actual facts to back it up.

(BTW Leo is allegedly a devotee of St. Augustine and claims to be heavily influenced by him. I've read Augustine in no small measure and can attest to the fact Auggie is diametrically opposed to much of this Progressive stupidity espoused by Leo and his bestie Francis. Just one example is Augustine's theory of just war, which is applicable to U.S. immigration policy today.)

Leo said:

"sometimes decisions are made more based on economics than on human dignity" in the U.S.

Well, these immigrants bsed THEIR decisions on economics in the first place so naturally it's an issue. They are here to clean up where they lacked the opportunity back home. But what happens when a large swath of a country leaves? How is anything fixed there? That is just passing the problem along to us, outsourcing it. In fact it is a gentle invasion of America, one designed to ease problems in the Third World but to overwhelm the American system. Read the work of Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven if you want to understand this left-wing policy and how it applies to immigration. They taught radicals to overwhelm the system to destroy it and usher in the era of socialism and Godlessness. Leo seems not to understand any of this.

"Human dignity" is a fungible term that can mean anything. It can be argued that a man wearing a little girl's dress and holding a lollipop must be treated the same way we would treat anyone else because of "human dignity" even though that person, through mental illness or whatever, has rejected human dignity themselves. But economics are hard facts and they cannot be ignored. I would argue we have treated illegal aliens with enormous amounts of human dignity. Other countries would have thrown them in horrible prisons until they could be kicked out.

The article continues:

Canadian Cardinal Michael Czerny, a senior adviser to both Francis and Leo, said the new pope was following an instruction given by St. Paul, a first-century leader of Christianity: "Preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season."

"[Leo] encourages and challenges each local Church and each Christian, faced with complex and urgent issues, to live the Gospel," Czerny told Reuters.

There is nothing "complex" about the issue of illegal immigration; we have people openly breaking our laws and that for their own economic benefit. We take in more immigrants than any nation in history since perhaps the Barbarian Invasions of Rome (and they came in peacefully, not militarily in most cases.) We are being overrun; there are at least 20 million illegals in this country and probably more. We have sixty million aliens here - legal and illegal - and that is comfortably more than the population of Canada and over double that of Australia. We have a duty to our own citizens to stop the flood of aliens into this country - legal and illegal. Our nation cannot survive this deluge and even a dimwit should be able to see that. America has done great good in the world and deserves to survive; doing what you believe is a kind thing at the expense of your own life is not required of Christians. It especially isn't required for the wrong cause.

We have no divine order to commit national suicide.

So this Pope buys a few attaboys from the liberal press at great cost to his home country and to the world at large. Remember your Dante' your Eminence; Antenora is the place for traitors to kin and country.

Oh, and Leo isn't "preching the word" but rather his own opinion and the opinoin of his friends and benefactors. He would have kept his mouth shut on this subject if he were.

The article continues:

Leo was a relative unknown on the global stage before his election in May. He spent most of his career as a missionary in Peru, where Allen said he developed a desire to care for immigrants and speak up for social causes.

"He understands the priority of the abortion issue, but he's not going to be somebody that says that's far more important than immigration," she said.

Bullshit. Pope Benedict issued the highest injunction against abortion, which is the conscious, willful murder of an innocent. In his papal bull he said it had the Church's highest condemnation, making it fall just barely short of a ruling ex-cathedra (infallible). Immigration is not a settled matter in the Church nor is it anywhere near as clear. Many aliens are criminals and we have been forced to round up such before they kill people (as so many have now done).

(The last ex-cathedra ruling by a Pope was in 1959 when the Church ruled Mary was bodily assumed into Heaven.)

Leo has simply made a fool of himself here. He shows he is more interested in friendship with the world then in actually fighting for justice. There is no justice in promoting an invasion of a country out of some misplaced idea of the poor. If we want to help the poor we first stop enabling their governments. Caring for the poor does not mean forcing people to wander the Earth for money, and sending their children with molesters to be sold in the skin trade or work as slaves.

Leo won't care about any of this; his is an easy, virtue signaling Christianity, just like Pope Francis. These are very serious times that call for a serious Pontiff. Instead we have Pauley Shore.

God is punishing Mankind by allowing these two lousy Popes to impose their errors. We need to ask God to forgive us and pray for Leo, that he may be granted wisdom by the Lord.

The Lying Polls

Timothy Birdnow

Despite claims Trump is polling poorly, the fact remains he is doing better than Barrack Obama did in his first year in office.

Never believe polls or the media.

The fact is there is now way the public has turned on Trump. Inflation is actually down to a normal levels (what we had prior to Biden) and the economy is growing despite all the panic over tariffs. Trump has us at peace in the world. Trump is restoring pride in America. Trump has essentially ended all illegal immigration to the U.S. He is opening oil and gas production again. Regulations are being removed. He is spending less money. He's restored order in D.C. and in California and is going to do so elsewhwere. There are few downsides to his Presidency, certainly not enough to have the public turning on him.

So all these polls coming out claiming he's tanking are lies. Why not? The pollsters know they won't be checked by election just yet and it then becomes their word v. others. Polls have long been designed to lead public opinion, not reflect it.

My wife worked as a pollster for a while and she was astonished at the way they work; they just promote the Democrats and didn't care about accuracy. (These are the public polls; there are secret, internal polls for the political parties and the media, no doubt, which actually DO look for accuracy so they can plan, but the public never gets these.)

So polls are taken far out from elections and desinged to favor Democrats and liberal causes. As elections near they suddenly change, and become more accurate because the pollsters are afraid of losing their credibility. Granted, every poll was slanted where Trump has been concerned because they thought the stakes were so high they had to risk sticking their necks out. Now fewer people trust the polls - and well they should not.

We are still far enough out the pollsters want to start an anti-Trump bandwagon. They hope to turn opinion against the Orange Peril and thus win Congressional seats for their party.

Right now we are in the gaslighting season. Don't believe a word of it.
