Newsom's Tax Returns

Gavin "Nuisance" Newsom has made eleven million bucks since he took office, predominantly from "wineries, restaurants, and other investments" as the article states. That was in five years, between 2019 and 2024.

Restaurants are notoriously low percentage businesses and most fail within their first year. There is a saying in the wine business "to make a small fortune in the wine business you first start with a large one". Both of these businesses are not for the novice and not high profit.

So what is going on? I'll tell you what is going on; the left is laundering money to Newsom in much the same way as they were doing to "Brotherly love" Ilhan Omar's husband made a fortune with a winery that did not even exist. Someone is creating fictional wineries and putting money into their accounts that way.

It's possible that Newsom actually owns a winery, but it's flourishing and that only because someone wants it to flourish. I suspect he's not actually making any money with the sale of wine, except where the wine is given away by the purchaser, much like book sales of politicians. John F. Kennedy was never without a copy of "Profiles in Courage" because his father bought all his books to make it a best-seller.

But, but, but..Newsom's money is in a blind trust! In blindness we trust!

I suspect this is the very same trick used by Hillary Clinton to make a killing in cattle futures. It's an old game; take two investors, one a politician and the other a would-be donor. Match them in a fund that balances out then give the one that earns money to Hillary and let the loser take the hit. The loser knows he's taking the hit - he's donating money without actually donating money. Newsom's "blind trust" is no doubt run by Democrats who are making him money but swindling or volunteering other people's money.

Here is a quote from the article that gets me:

With millions rolling in why does he need to take that from the taxpayers? You know what President Trump takes? One American dollar per year. The rest he donates to charity. That is for being President of the United States and pputting up with the massive amount of crap that he has to take. Newsom could easily donate his salary to charity. But he won't because liberals always are free with other people's money but rarely with their own.

Newsom also was paid a hundred and fifty grand for his children's book about a kid with dyslexia. Did Mr. Newsom write this while he was supposed to be working for the public? If so he was neglecting his job. Or did he have it ghost-written (more likely) and not mention how much the ghost-writer got paid or who paid him (it could be seen as an illegal campaign donation.)

This guy is as corrupt as they come. Hopefully Nick Shirley will show up to interview him, or some other analysts who can analyze these tax returns and show Newsom is taking graft. I have little doubt he's doing that very thing.

This is why we keep losing; we've got double-minded dimwits at the very pinnacle of our government.

Justice Gorsuch keeps insisting America was founded as a religiously neutral nation, but the founding-era record tells a very different story

Gorsuch has been a decent enough Justice but he's clearly malinformed about American history. America was overwhelmingly a Christian nation. The Establishment Clause was put in place to prevent government from putting it's thumb on the scale by deciding WHICH sect of Christianity would be dominant. Had the Founders thought Islam or Hinduism or any other religion would become dominant they would never have included that clause.

Forsuch told PBS' Margaret Hoover:

"We were never supposed to be a nation that was about one race or one religion … It was about those ideas [in the Declaration of Independence] … We have a First Amendment, for crying out loud. No established religion.”

Why, pray tell, was slavery no abolished at that point then? Why weren't Indians given citizenship at first? Clearly they were thinking about race.

Race neutrality came later as a result of a long and very painful process - a process we have yet to complete as we simply flipped the dominant races.

But as for religion, yes, there is nothing specific in the Constitution about religion other to ban government from meddling in it, but that is a far cry from saying Christianity is not the core of our nation. Multiple Founding Fathers said so.

This illustrates that Gorsuch is not an originalist but a textualist; he doesn't divine the wishes of the Founders and why they said a thing in the Constitution but rather simply looks at the text as written (and using our modern figures of speech as opposed to theirs). He joins Amy Conehead Barrett and Jumpin' John Roberts as textualists.

The Founders could not possibly state every position in a way that could not be misinterpreted. They relied on their successors understanding this point and interpreting the Constitution based on their original intent. Textualism is silly; it allows for reinterpretation. Gorsuch is dead wrong about America and it's Christian bedrock.

As the article points out, most states had their own preferred religion and imposed all sorts of laws based upon them. Nobody ever suggested they couldn't do that.

In fact many states had religious tests for running for public office and you couldn't run if you weren't a Christian. Those laws lasted until 1961 in some states. It was the leftist Warren Court that struck such laws down as unconstitutional.

How did this practice continue so long if the Founders had opposed the idea that America was a Chrstian nation?

And what of the practice of opening both houses of Congress with prayers led by chaplains? Until recently it was always assumed they be Christian ministers.

Gorsuch is an example of how specialization rots the brain. He studied the law and clearly did not absorb a whole lot else. Law schools rot the brain, and working in the legal field REALLY rots the brain. Legal thought tends to be confused, to put it mildly.

Gorsuch got this idea not from original sources but by reading what other lawyers, his contemporaries, had to say about what the Founders believed.

This is America's problem. Rule by expert has destroyed our country because experts read and quote other experts and avoid doing a couple of simple things - reading the source material directly and using common sense. Scholars rarely do either. Most want to impress their collegues rather than get too the heart of what it is they are examining.

So the modern interpretation of the founding of America is that we have "separation of Church and State" and a guy like Gorsch isn't going to risk being thought a fool - he'll just open his mouth and remove all doubt.

The truly scary thing is Gorsuch is one of the better Justices on the Court. We are governed by a collection of idiots.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

I'll be surprised if she can win.

Ex-'Squad' member fights for comeback as socialist wing ramps up war on Dem establishment

She's running against Wesley Bell, a leftist Democrat to be certain, but one who is not completely crazy. Bell has a lot of money it seems, and I am seeing all sorts of adds for Bell and none Cori Bush. Bell is the incumbent and he had been around for a while, including being the Prosecuting Attorney in St. Louis County.

Bell is being cagey; he's attacking her for attacking other Democrats while he starts his commercials attacking Donald Trump and then mentioning Bush is dividing the Democrats. I doubt this strategy would work ina purple district but it probably will in the very blue Missouri 1st.

Democrat Russ Carnahan lost his seat in Mo. 3 when his district was eliminated and a sizable chunk of the south-side area then went to the first district (where I am a resident). At the time it was the stronghold of toothless Lacy Clay, son of the former grifter Congressman William Clay, the man who won his seat from Jelly Roll Hogan, the head of the Hogan crime gang. Forty five percent of the population is black while forty percent is white. There is zero chance of ever electing a Republican in this district. I will probably take a Democrat ballot on tuesday to vote for Bell. (In Missouri you don't have to register party preference for primaries as in most other states.)

At any rate I'm fairly certain Bell will win and Bush will lose but I'm not taking any chances. I'm a Bell man at least where the primary is concerned.

Not sure who the Republicans are running if anybody but I will certainly vote for whoever shows up there - or for, say, the Constitution Party or Libertarians. I might even write myself in if it comes to that. I often do that.

Bush was an embarrassment. Bell isn't a whole lot better but he's not the same sort of chip-on-the-shoulder buffoon as is Bush.

Walz to Blame for Water Hack

Trump thinks Minnesota was behind the water processing system attacks!

Question: Can you rule out that Iran was behind the water attack? Can you rule out that Iran was behind that cyber-attack?

President Trump: No, I think Minnesota is behind it. You know who's behind it? Minnesota, because they're grossly incompetent. I think the governor's behind it. I don't think there was an Iranian cyber-attack. I think that Minnesota ought to get its act together. It's one of the worst-run states... JD will tell you. In fact, tremendous corruption in Minnesota. And by the way, just gave me a report, massive, massive future things having to do with corruption in Minnesota are happening right now.

While it seems unlikely Walz was in the Governor's mansion with a laptop hacking the water system himself Trump's point is that the gross incompetence and inattention made Minnesota a prime target.

This article surmises as much. But there is more if one wishes to consider it.

It seems to me Walz would be happy to point to an Iranian cyber attack to divert attention away from his many scandals. This way he can act as the aggrieved party and at the same time suggest he's out there fighting for his own people when in fact this works to his advantage by distracting attention. And you never know; there is always a slim possibility the Governor found some hacker to spoof the Iranians. Democrats have done such things before.

For that matter Iran would be smart enough to realize this.

Walz has suggeste China negotiate a peace deal between the U.S. and Iran - something that no doubt would be pleasing to the Iranians. And Walz also was a big supporter of Muslims in his state. There is every reason to believe the Iranians would want to throw Walz a lifeline.

If nothing else this helps to sow discord between the Administration and the Democrats in Minnesota that may well help the Iranians.

So while I doubt Walz actually paid someone to hack the water system I do think he's at fault to no small degree, and that he's probably also happy with the outcome.

Pressley is a "squad" member.

Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio is the 18 year old victim found at Pressley's home. Ocasio is, after all, part of the hyphenated name for Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, or Sandy Occluded Cortex - AOC.

At any rate this is a house owned by Pressley's husband and it was on the market for a million and a half. How does someone who is in league with the socialists worth enough to own a house worth that? It's GOOD to be a social democrat!

Stay Out of Eastern European Fight

This mirrors much of my own thinking about the Ukraine/Russia conflict. The author gets a bit more pointed in his criticisms of Ukraine but his points are essentially valid.

Remember, we gave Russia a verbal promise to not expand NATO into the old Warsaw Pact then we broke it. Russia tolerated our moving NATO right up to their border (they ddn't really have a choice) but the Ukraine (I'm going back to putting THE in front of the name like we used to) was always hands-off because it was one of the "Russias" along with Byeloru aka White Russia and Great Russia. The Ukraine is rather like Texas is to America. Imagine if the Soviets had taken control of Texas during the Cold War.

And for a time we did not. But then when the Ukraine elected a pro-Russian President the CIA began fomenting the Orange Revolution to overthrow him and install a pro-western guy who was willing to "do busisness" with all our dirtbags. That's why Hillary Clinton got involved with them. That's why Hunter Biden got involved with them. It never would have happened had we not kicked out the elected government and replaced it with one more pleasing to ourselves.

This war has nothing to do with sympathy for an underdog democracy - Ukraine is as corrupt as Russia if not more so and it's no longer even remotely democratic as Zelensky has suspended elecctions and suppressed free speech and suppressed the Orthodox Church and imposed universal drafting of young men (thus getting rid of those who would oppose his remaining in office). Putin is certainly no better but this is rather like a fight between an alligator and a Burmese Python in the Everglades - you can't really root for either.

No, what this is about is money and power. The Ukraine was laundering vast sums of Western cash. But there is more than just a desire to make money involved; it is all about the New World Order. Russia, under Putin, was trying to build an alternative to the New World Order system the elites of the West were trying to put in place. Russia was fouling up their whole scheme. So they want to squeeze Russia dry, bankrupt her, empty her out so the remnant is forced to come hat-in-hand to Western bankers and diplomats and join the NWO as penitents, trustees.

And let us not forget what Tulsi Gabbard admitted; we had dozens of biological labs in the Ukraine doing gain of function research. In other words we had weapons labs, right next door to Russia.

Yes, Russia did invade Crimea, and then the eastern portion of the Ukraine as well. But the Ukrainians had been shelling the Crimea for years. They also put a dam on the Dneiper river and diverted all of Crimea's fresh water. They provoked Russia at every turn.

Again I am not excusing Russia. Putin is a bastard and will do whatever he can get away with doing. But there is another side to this. The Western elites won't tell us that other side because they bafflingly want war with Russia and don't seem to care about the dangers of it going nuclear.

A nuclear war can ruin your whole day.

I believe we have no material national interest in the Ukraine. I further believe this could well have been prevented by remotely competent diplomacy before it began, but the elites wanted this. Biden screwed it up bigly. But that, I believe, was by design. Putin is an opportunist and saw he could get away with it.

I really don't believe Russia is in that bad a shape either. I think we are being gaslit by the media and by these internationalist think tanks. The reporting suggests the Russians are nearing the end but I suspect the reality on the ground is a bit different.

I will say this; Putin cannot afford to lose this war. He will be removed from office, and by office I mean the body politic, sans body. His head will roll. He's not going to allow that.

And everyone who could replace him is worse than is he.

So what will Putin do? Tactical nuclear weapons come to mind. Use tactical nukes on the Ukrainian battlefield and dare the West to start the big one. We'll probably back down from that and Putin knows it. Even Trump won't risk all-out nuclear war, despite Trump having the balls to fight.

Putin won't do that unless he's trapped like the rat he is, but if it is that or face assassination and overthrow he'll do it, I suspect.

Oh, and while the old Soviet arsenal had been under the control of a number of agencies that limited single-man launches the current Russian nuclear arsenal very likely is not; it was Putin's creation. I rather suspect he has complete control over their use.

At any rate whoever wins this war isn't worth our time one way or another. All that we've done by dragging this out is battle harden both sides and when it finally ends they will likely go around the world selling their skills to the highest bidder. There is a reason why the Albanian mob took over the Sicilian Mafia; they were so hardened by the war in Bosnia that they were too tough for the Mafia and are now in control of it. That is what we will see with the Russians and Ukrainians in times to come.

Also, Russia and Ukraine will BOTH have to replace their populations with men from elsewhere. Ukraine, in particular, will be filled with Middle Easterners and other non-European types who mean us ill. See here, here, and here for just a few articles singing the praises of the glory of immigration to replenish the population of the Ukraine. The Ukrainians will become a remnant in their own countries, and that is just fine by the standards of the Western Ruling Class.

I suspect it will happen less with Russia, although the Russians are going to have some big problems too. But Putin is no fool (unlike Zelensky) and he will fight to prevent that from happening to his own country. He may not be able to succeed but he'll try. Mostly he'll encourage a population boom. Once the war is over Russia will be a good place for young white men to go; lots of Russian women for the having.

In the end this is a proxy war by the West, which was angry about things like BRICS. We are leaving our children with a nightmare to clean up so Progressives can make money and feed their scheme for the New World Order.

Conservatives seem baffled by the animosity held by liberals towards Christians and Jews. Christianity requires the believer submit to authority, accept the rule of government, be charitable to his fellow; in short, be a model citizen. Ditto the Jews, who held these requirements even longer than the Christians. Why are liberals so hostile to both? For that matter, why do liberals seem so smitten with that 7th century holdover known as Islam? Why do those on the Left seem less than eager to defend our freedom and way of life from the ravages of Islamic Jihad?

To understand this, it is necessary to examine the intellectual underpinnings of modern Liberal thought. We must begin with Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Godfather of modern liberalism, in his treatise The Social Contract:

"MAN is born free; and everywhere he is in chains."

Why? George Bush, of course, but also because

"It was in these circumstances that Jesus came to set up on earth a spiritual kingdom, which, by separating the theological from the political system, made the State no longer one, and brought about the internal divisions which have never ceased to trouble Christian peoples. As the new idea of a kingdom of the other world could never have occurred to pagans, they always looked on the Christians as really rebels, who, while feigning to submit, were only waiting for the chance to make themselves independent and their masters, and to usurp by guile the authority they pretended in their weakness to respect. This was the cause of the persecutions.

"What the pagans had feared took place. Then everything changed its aspect: the humble Christians changed their language, and soon this so-called kingdom of the other world turned, under a visible leader, into the most violent of earthly despotisms.

So, Christianity and Judaism, by giving the World Separation of Church and State, destroyed the old pagan order and splintered the power of the collective will. To those who believe in this collective and the exercise of the will of society over the individual, there can be no worse crime. The results were ‘the most violent of earthly despotisms' while the Islamic world, that model of theocratic benevolence, offered a government ‘so far good'".

(It is ironic that the Left would use that very Christian concept of separation between Church and State as a tool to eliminate the author of this division.)

Those who would revolutionize society, who would remake America in their own neo-pagan, atheistic mold, find the fundamental weakening of the power of the State intolerable (since it is only by that power that their will can triumph), and would prefer to institute a system more akin to that of Muhammad. They admire Islam for maintaining the ancient regime, although they ultimately plan to displace Allah with a Man-centered deity.

Of course, the liberal also hates being constrained in any way, and traditional morality flows, as they perceive it, from the Church down. By raising Islam as an alternative to Christendom, the liberal hopes to bludgeon the keepers of morality. Islam can help with the dirty work of crushing the usurper ideologies of Christianity and Judaism, and then, of course, their turn will come.

Then, too, we can look to Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, who believed not in the rationality of Christendom, but in a mythical Greek paradise ruled by "Dionysian" creative forces - emotionalism and irrationality. These forces were vanquished by the rise of Socratic intellectualism and the coming of Christianity. Nietzsche argued further against a fixed reality in his unpublished work `On Truth and Lies in a Nonmoral Sense', claiming that what we think of as truth is merely a convention agreed upon by society, thus freeing Man from the tyranny of concrete reality.

This wild spirit, this vision of the anti-mind slithers throughout liberal thought and can be seen in numerous left-wing positions; being soft on crime, spiritual environmentalism, their admiration for dictators such as Castro and Mao, and in their current love affair with radical Islam. Terrorism is the ultimate irrational force, a violence aimed at random destruction and mayhem. It holds kinship with the bloodlust of the Marxists and Nazis, and, as such, is a ``creative force`` by Nietzschean standards. (Oh, and Nietzsche also hated Christians and Jews, and was a prime inspiration for National Socialism; copies of Thus Spoke Zarathustra were issued to German soldiers during World War One, gaining the interest of a certain corporal...)

A return to the "good old days" of the 7th Century, to a time before paradise was lost to the tyranny of Judeo-Christian intellectualism seems preferable to modern liberals, who have flatly rejected Hobbes` view of primitive life as solitary poor, hard, nasty, brutish, and short. We especially see this in the neo-paganism of the environmentalist movement; they dream of a lost pastoral Eden where mankind could be free of the drudgery of industrial life and the endless intellectual toil. A great many on the Left wish to overthrow the current order, replacing it with this twisted Nietzschean/Rousseauian mirage stolen from the Book of Genesis.

Of course, to those who do not believe in a concrete reality, as many liberals do not, one system is as good as another, and we have no right to judge the Moslem on how he conducts his affairs. Since the Jihadist's reality is equally valid as the Westerner's, we are practicing moral Imperialism if we force our Judeo-Christian moral law on them. This is exacerbated by the fact that they are Third World peoples; many liberals, deep in their hearts, are pulling for what they perceive as the underdog - in this case the terrorist murdering thug-at the expense of their own culture. A racist, sexist, homophobic, power-mad society such as ours deserves to be taught a lesson! Even if the teacher is racist, sexist, homophobic, and power-mad, they aren't Western, Christian, or White! They aren't Dick Cheney! Power to the people!

There is a strain of masochism involved here as well; the white liberal perceives himself as having unfairly benefited from his station in life, having lived well on the backs of the poor. Somebody must be punished for this! He will flagellate himself in his mind, and will support those who will punish his country, because justice demands retribution, and America has lived far too well. If we must endure terrorist attacks to atone for our sins, so be it! Perhaps we should do the decent thing and die; let others have their turn at the table.

Here Socialist thinking comes into play; there is only so much to go around, and we have been hogging it for too long. For those in the Arab world to live better, we must exit the stage. It's only fair!

The Liberal ultimately believes that the culture we have built, the triumph of Judeo-Christian values, is diseased and must be erased. If Islam can do their work for them, so be it. Islam, like the State under Marx, will ultimately wither away, and the paradise which predated Christ and Abraham can be restored. At least they like to think so.

Much like Milton's fallen angels, they believe they have been dispossessed of their rightful station by a tyrannical spiritual entity, and they are determined to repossess their native seat-the fallen pastoral paradise promised them by Rousseau and Nietzsche-via the triumph of their Collective Will. This is their prime mover, their principle motivation. It is why they were so enraged at the loss of their political power, and why they hate the ``usurper`` George W. Bush; they were driven out before they could attain paradise. This concept-lifted from Christian doctrine-that History has an ultimate end in a Humanistic Eden cannot be overstressed; the Left is consumed with this. They feel that, by losing their political power, they have been cast into the Lake of Fire.

Here is a great essay on why the Left loves Muhammed.

The author argues:

"Islam is different. It stands for something. And here’s what’s really great about what it stands for: It stands for a lot of the things leftists love.

My cousin, who converted from being a Jewish atheist to Christianity, and then became a pastor, spent decades working in the Virginia prison system. Many years ago, he wrote an email to me that stated something very profound about how common it was for prisoners to convert to Islam. What’s significant is that they didn’t do so because they felt remorse for their crimes, repented, and sought redemption. Instead, something very different was going on:

It is not a contradiction to be a Muslim and a murderer, even a mass murderer. That is one reason why criminals "convert” to Islam in prison. They don’t convert at all; they simply remain the angry, judgmental, vicious beings they always have been. They simply add "religious” diatribes to their personal invective. Islam does not inspire a crisis of conscience, just inspirations to outrage.

And there it is: The "spiritual” nexus between Islam and socialism.

For socialists, Islam is everything they want, plus it answers the big questions: Why am I here?

To serve Allah.

Why shouldn’t I murder, rob, cheat, assault, sleep with my sister, etc.?

You’re free to do so, as long as it benefits Islam.

And then there’s the kicker: What happens at the end?

It’s not the end. You ascend to Paradise. If you’ve been a soldier for the cause, you get a wonderful paradise, plus endless sex with 72 women, a good sales pitch for leftist men.

If you’re a regular guy, you get to live in a wonderful paradise, complete with sex with your "purified” spouses, something that will work for leftist men.

As for women, they get to be young, free of negative emotions, material goods, and surrounded by friends and family…but no sex. For leftist women, riddled with angry emotions and utterly degraded and demoralized by hook-up culture, this may actually end up sounding very good."

I remember reading eighth and nineth century Christian thinkers discussing Islam and it's meteoric rise and this author is correct. These thinkers all said the same thing - Islam appeals to the carnal nature of Man, offers the indulgence of the flesh over the spirit. It is not spiritual except in the academic sense; it is more justification for self-indulgence.

Islam turns our moral failings into "service of Allah". Fighting and warfare are not things we do because we must but become "Holy War" aka Jihad, and thus given the impramateur of God Himself. So those who are violent and enjoy the other fruits of warfare - raping women, destroying things, stealing children, stealing "the enemy's" goods, are freed from moral blame as this is in the service of the Kingdom of Allah. Sex in Islam is the easiest thing imaginable; a man may have four wives (who have a legal share in his estate) but an unlimited number of concubines, meaning he can ball any woman he pleases. And it is particularly incumbent upon him to take the infidel women as part of the campaign to terrorize and ultimately dominate t he kaffirs. So deviant sex and even violent rape are not just excused but celebtated. You are no longer a scumbag abuser of women but rather God's anointed warrior!

Islam allows, nay encourages you to lie, to cheat, to steal, to break oaths and treaties, to oppress women, to rape women and even male children, to betray your benefactors and people who see you as friends, etc.

While I am not saying all Muslims are such monsters (most are just normal people who have been raised Muslim and whose parents likely adopted it because of the pressure exerted on them from their Muslim overlords) I am saying many are and that is because, in the end, Islam makes it so.

(I have to ask; why does Allah require his followers to impose justice on the world? Is he so weak he has to have human beings do it for him? Christianity is quite the opposite; God imposes justice, humans bring word of mercy in the hopes that their neighbors freely choose to serve God. A world of difference, even if on occasion Christians haven't followed their faith.)

But judgmentalism and imposing "justice" which is an excuse for imposing your own will, is quite attractive to Muslims and to Leftists alike. It plays to a very flawed human lust for power and a sadistic desire to abuse those perceived as enemies.

Islam has been described as "Judaism without the Jews" and the characteristics the Left claims to so loath about Jews is prevalaint in Islam in spades. But in true Pharisidic fashion the Left admires Islam and loathes Judaism. The Jews were important to Judaism because they were chosen by God to fulfill a purpose - a purpose of missionarizing without forcing. Islam has the purpose of reproducing too but by hook or by crook. The moral code of the Jews constrains them - the moral code of Islam empowers them.. No Jew ever cut off the head of a non-believer out of a sense of "justice". On the contrary the Jew will generally forgive those who do suc h barbaric acts - as do Christians. And Jews do not proselytize; they rather discourage conversions. They are chosen not to convert people to Judaism but to evangelize the worship of God by example. You don't have to be a Jew to worship God - you DO have to be a Muslim to propertly worship Allah. They will tolerate you if you pay them tribute (just like a Mafia Don) but only up to a point. Eventually they will get back to you about your lack of faith.

At Any rate the Islam/Leftist alliance has many facets. I wrote about some of them in an essay at American Thinker some years back.

Oh, there are a number of similarities between Islam and Leftism. For instance, the first thing the Muslims did when conquering a nation was issuing an order forgiving all debt, public and private. This was very popular with the poor and working classes and many became Muslims as a result. That this was theft seemed immateriall to the Muslims, and nothing good comes of a crime. They also imposed a lot of new taxes (something near and dear to the Left). They thought to change times and laws just as liberals do. And they were (and remain) universalists; the whole world must be subjugated by Islam, just as it must be subjugated by leftism. And I have already discussed the sexual mores. There is a reason why, even though Islam forbids homosexuality, they allow the rape of young boys by Muslim men as in the "dancing boys" of Afghanistan. Also, Islam frowned upon alcohol (although they wink at it) but not harder drugs. Smoking hashish was fine to the Muslims but having wine with dinner not so much. That is EXACTLY like modern liberals, who promote legalizing marijuana and even hard narcotics while waging war against beer and wine.

So why the similarities? I would argue both come from the same father and he ain't God. They are brothers in the service of the adversary.

Or, if you prefer to take religion out of it, they are in the service of the same sort of system and their enemies are the same. Both hate Christianity and Judaism. Both hate free societies. Both hate seperartion of church and state. Both want to empower a strong central government to coerce people into believing what they themselves hold true. It matters not who they are - Muslims, Communists, Socialists (including Nazis and Fascists), etc. the program is always the same. And, as the old Arab proverb says, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

And all of them feel the path to paradise, a long-lost paradise, is blocked by the superstitious, primitive, and judgmental Christians and their Jewish allies.

Broad and easy is the path to eternal damnation.

Re-Reconquista

Cueta is an autonomous city of Spain on the North African coast. It is a historic colonial anomaly. It’s not that far from Gibraltar.

Its existence has always made a mockery of Spanish claims that the British rule of Gibraltar is inherently unjust.

Britain has just given concessions to Spain regarding Gibraltar. There is ‘frictionless travel’ over the land border between Spain and Gibraltar with border infrastructure removed.

Spain by the way is an even more glaring example of a Suicide Nation than Britain.

90% of new jobs go to immigrants.

10 million foreign born residents in a population of 49 million. 20% of people in Spain are already born elsewhere.

And leftist ideology has them more worried about Gaza and more busy hating Israel than capable of noticing their own destruction or caring about that.

This article maddenly uses the term "partner" which is liberal speak. In fact it's his common-law wife (even if Maine doesn't formally recognize that) or live-in girlfriend if you prefer.

The Maine Wire reported that Jackson, the former Maine Senate president tapped last week to challenge Republican Sen. Susan Collins, and his longtime partner are related by blood. The outlet said the two are second cousins and have two children together.

Robinson identified the partner as Lana Pelletier. He reported that she and Jackson share a set of great-grandparents, citing genealogical records. Both are from Allagash, a small town in Aroostook County. The two have never legally married, and Maine does not recognize common-law marriage.

The relationship could carry consequences for how Jackson reports his finances. Under Senate rules, candidates and members must file detailed disclosures covering their own income, assets, and liabilities, along with those of a spouse. Because Jackson and Pelletier never wed, it is not clear whether his disclosures would have to account for her finances the way Collins’ filings account for her husband.

I don't know about the financial disclosure matter, but this is still just a bit creepy. Imagine if this were a Republican candidate; the jokes would be coming fast and furious on all of the late-night comedy shows.

And a man who puts it to his own family is a man who will put it to the voters.

How are we going to get all their weapons? They have miles and miles of underground tunnels full of weapons cache's and they might hand over some, and then Israel will stop, and they will regroup and do it all over again. As long as Hamas is still standing they will try to destroy Israel.

Mr. Trump and most of the Western World fail to understand the doctrine of taqiyyah in Islam, Holy lying. It is acceptable to lie to an infidel, to break oaths, to wage war by stabbing in the back.

Unless Israel were to kill every single Hamas member, and a host of non-Hamas along with them, the problem itself won't go away. But by destroying Hamas they will find it quite difficult to wage war and the populace of Palestine may eventually decide it's better to make peace with Israel and live a reasonable life than to wage endless war against her and live in squalor, hunger, and die by violence.

In war a people must FEEL beaten, not just BE beaten. If they still think they can win the fight will continue. Making a deal with Hamas will only kick the can down the road.

The only way to deal with the more religious and radical Muslims is to defeat and destroy them to a point where they doubt their ability to continue to fight. After the Crusaders took the Holy Back back from the Turks there was a hundred years of relative peace in the region because the Muslims thought Allah had abandoned them and they feared attacking the Crusader kingdoms. But they slowly regained their confidence as they made advances and defeated Christian kingdoms. Within two centuries of the First Crusade Jerusalem fell - the final domino. But it took the Muslims that long to take the land not because they were up against superior forces but because the Christians militaries had crushed them at the very beginning (and sadly the Christians forgot the lesson and stopped fighting to keep the small kingdoms in tact.)

Islam has to be forced to retreat. It is like kudzu, an invasive species that grows over everything if it isn't aggressively pruned.

Trump should know that by now.

Yes, Inflation is a Monetary Problem, not a Supply Problem

American Thinker really laid an egg with this one.

Here we have an economist making the Keynsian argument that inflation is not caused by an increase in the money supply.

The author tries to blame inflation in the seventies on the oil embargo leading to oil price shock and driving up inflation. Inflation is NOT merely rising prices from a temporary market fluctuation but a systemic growth in prices across the board and in no way can this "economist" make this case.

He argues:

"I never dreamed that my fellow economists would lock themselves into the groupthink that the money supply is the cause of inflation. It is not. A woman does not offer $4 for bread when the price is $3 simply because the money supply is large, or because the government spends too much. If there is a shortage of bread, she might offer more."

Shortages are caused primarily by demand outstripping supply and the prices not being allowed to rise - as we saw with wage and price controls.

A woman doesn't CHOOSE to spend more on a loaf of bread - she does because the price has gone up and she has to pay it or do without. Duh.

The price goes up because the value of a dollar has gone down and if she's paying four bucks for a three dollar loaf of bread it means the value of a dollar dropped 25% since there are now more dollars in the system.

In inflationary periods wages rise too but usually not as fast as inflation by and large. But they often can keep up, which is why inflation is so attractive to politicians - a stealth tax which is hidden and which can be blamed unjustly on corporations.

Here is a graph that clearly shows the rise in the money supply during the seventies tracking almost perfectly with the rise in inflation. It's not just the m2 supply of money but also the amount of economic growth (which high inflation eventually kills) and the national debt to GDP. The Federal Reserve often uses inflation of the money supply to stimulate growth. But then, being Keynsians, they then obsess over "overheating" the economy and often pull back on it.

The point is the money supply is the predominant driver of inflation no matter how many degrees this author possesses.

We saw this during the Biden years; Bidenflation was a result of the Federal Reserve printing a lot of money to cover the cost of Covid and Biden's reckless spending. Nothing more.

Inflation spiked because of the gargantuan spending over the last twenty years. Obama spent huge amounts, then Trump with Covid, then Biden with even larger spending over Covid. Inflation was sure to follow; the Federal Reserve increased the money supply by gargatntuan amounts. See a graph of it here. It was at this very time inflation exploded. This chart shows M1. M2 grew at a rate of 26.9% in 2021 and only stopped growing as the election loomed in late 2023. See more here.

To further prove this author is a bit dim, he says this:

"Inflation is caused by the increased cost or shortage of usable goods. The main drivers of inflation are taxes and rising oil prices."

If that is so every time the tariff has been raised it should have resulted in inflation. Yet a walk down memory lane shows no such thing ever happened when tariffs were raised (and almost every President has done so at some point in their Presidency).

Again,, there is a difference between a temporary or specific price spike and inflation, something this fellow seems to not understand.

Yes, taxes can raise prices and yes, oil is certainly a systemic cost and drives up the costs of goods at times. But it is not the core cause of inflation. IF that were true then we should not have seen inflation rising steadily through the last twenty years when oil prices were fairly static.

In most cases oil prices climb AFTER inflation increases. For example, oil prices reached a record high in June of 2008, after the mortgage meltdown. In 2007 inflation was 4.1% by 2009 it was 2.70% so it declined despite a major oil price spike in 2008 (and 2008 saw practically no inflation at 0.10%). How can ths be if oil prices are the key to inflation? Inflation dropped under Obama while oil prices were rising.

A number of factors decide when prices rise - for instance the "velocity rate" aka how fast the money is moving, and the total economic growth. But in the end you can't cheat the reaper and an increase in the money supply can delay inflation but not stop it.

Oh, by the way, we've been lied to about the inflation rates for decades now. Why do we have an "affordability crisis" now when inflation is officially pretty low?

This guy is making Keynsian arguments.

Water, Water Everywhere

I cannot fathom why on God's green Earth you would network a water treatment system.

Minnesota water systems hit with cyberattack, state officials say

We did just fine in the old days where you pumped water into a treatment plant and then pumped it out. Why put that on the internet?

I'm not an engineer and maybe there is a good reason to do that but I see little value in it. But this shows there is great vulnerability.

I find it interesting it happened in Minnesota too, the home of the resistance movement and host to all the Somali and other Islamists.

At any rate this happened in a number of communities in the area and from what many experts have said it looks to likely be an Iranian attack, to sow chaos in America.

That is a sign of desperation, that they are wasting valuable time and resources to shut down water plants temporarily.

This should be a cautionary tale for us about networking everything. If water systems can be hacked why not voting machines? Why not hospital services? How about getting violent criminals released from prison early? We put all our eggs in one basket and then are surprised when we drop the basket and they are all broken.

I have no idea of how automated the water system is, but can you imagine if they had finessed this a bit more, say, shut down the computer algorithm that chlorinated the water, or did other preservation techniques, so the public was drinking contaminated sewer water (plenty of that in the state capital).

Computer technology and AI have and are remaking the world. The worrisome thin is that we seem to be losing control of what they are remaking the world into.

Wisconsin brewery that offered 'free beer' when Trump dies says alcohol permit revoked

In Heaven there is no beer, but no-one will drink it there!

While I generally don't like using someone's livelihood against them offering free beer if and when the President of the United States is assassinated is accessory to a crime and this guy actually should be brought up on charges. He is offering something of value for a crime.

At any rate this shutdown is not because of his offer of free beer to anyone should Mr. Trump being "86ed".

The Sentinel reported that state regulators pursued revoking Bangstad's alcohol license after authorities seized canned beer from his company in June, alleging it had been transported from Illinois without the required permits and taxes. The newspaper also reported that Bangstad criticized the proposed action as an excessive response, arguing the alleged tax violations did not warrant shutting down his business.

And while this a-hole never specifically mentioned Trump by name he was clearly speaking of Mr. Trump:

Following the April shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner where Trump was present, the company wrote on Facebook, "Well, we almost got #freebeerday."

"Either a brother or sister in the Resistance needs to work on their marksmanship or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle," the post added. "We’ll never know. Regardless, we stand at the ready to pour free beer the day it happens."

Imagine if Conservatives had offered free beer if Joe Biden had been assassinated; the howl would have been heard in Tristan da Cunha. The brewer would have had to go into hiding - if he didn't wind up in prison.

The Left wants to threaten and abuse those with whom they disagree but demand the protection of the law when they face consequences. They are the most noxious form of bullies - the kind who hide behind the teacher for protection when their victims strike back They are cowards. But they get away with it.

Hopefully this guy will lose his shirt. Maybe then he'll see that he is his own worst enemy.
