Last Days?
Timothy Birdnow
Coming to a city near you!
From End of the American Dream:
A nuclear war is not going to start because everyone agrees that they want one to happen. Rather, a nuclear war will start because someone decides that the next escalation will still be manageable. At this moment leaders all over the world are engaged in a very foolish game of brinksmanship. They are all calculating how close to the edge they can go without falling over. In such an environment, it will only take one very stupid mistake to set off a chain of events that nobody will be able to control. We are now closer to nuclear war than we have ever been in our entire history, and that is a very dangerous place to be.
Most Americans do not realize that a military conflict between Russia and our allies in Europe could literally erupt at any time, and recently there have been some very alarming incidents…
He's right; we are closer than we've ever been, closer than the Cuban Missile Crisis, in fact. And hardly anybody understands that.
I am no expert on a lot of things, but I know the Russian mind, the Russian character. I studied Russian history in college, as well as the Russian language. I have a certificate in Russia scientific translation and fell just one class short of majoring in Russian and Eastern Area Studies (the prof went on a year sabbatical for the class I needed, the Philosophy of Marxism/Leninism). I was going to work in national security but the Cold War unkindly ended just after I got out of college and that was that.
And I know the Russians are terrified of being encircled. It's deep in their psyche; they have to have a buffer between them and a potential enemy, particularly Germany as the Germans have invaded them on a number of occasions going all the way back to the Battle on the Ice in 1242 where Prince Alexander defeated the invading Teutonic Knights on the frozen Neva river (the Russians had called to Europe for help and the Germans sent troops in not to aid the Russians but to pluck her clean). Nato has systematically expanded into their buffer zone, and Russia is encircled by enemies now. The attempt to pull the Ukraine into the Western orbit was a bridge too far for the average Russian (yes, Putin wants to rebuild the old empire, but the average guy sees this as necessary to defend their homeland). And now Germany is talking about sending in troops, and Poland has gone on alert. What are the Russians supposed to think? They still have the largest and newest nuclear arsenal in the world, And since their manpower is being exhausted by this war they can't defend the rest of the country. But they have the great equalizer.
The Europeans are children playing with fire. Juvenilized by three quarters of a century of American supervision they now are trying to assert themselves but have absolutely no idea of how to go about it. They are wild cards who could push this thing spiraling out of control.
Putin, who will not go down without a fight, warned:
"We must understand that the moment when nothing can be changed can come very quickly and unexpectedly for everyone. The logic of escalation and increasingly harsh retaliatory measures is leading to a fatal point of no return,”
That could well come. Drunk on the success of post-Cold War Europe, the Europeans do not understand the nature of what they are trying to unleash. This could lead to the Big One, Doomsday, Ragnarök.
I for one don't want to die because Europeans are too juvenile and stupid to not understand Russia isn't any Third World country they can kick around. It no loner has the military force to fight an extended war, meaning it will have to unleash nuclear weapons.
Putin would do it too. I've studied him for years and am certain he will do whatever it takes.
Putin specifically mentioned Kaliningrad. What is interesting about that is there has been some talk of taking or isolating Kaliningrad and Putin is warning that if NATO does that it will be considered an act of war and Russia will retaliate. Since Russia can't beat NATO with conventional weapons...
Kaliningrad is on the Baltic sea between Lithuania and Poland. It is Russia's port on the Baltic and home to the Russia Baltic fleet. It could easily be cut off by NATO members Poland and Lithuania. I suspect if they try it Warsaw and Vilnius will wind up smoking ruins.
And if that happens NATO nuclear powers will be forced to retaliate. Then all the birds could fly.
We are in great peril right now. Most of the population in the West have forgotten the danger and are dancing as the Titanic is sinking.

If Putin had the support the current election said he had I would almost agree. Putin like winnie the pooh has more people who want his head on a platter then trusted allies. Europe needs a war if they are to dig themselves out of the hole they dug themselves into with uncontrolled immigration. France has experienced 3 days of cultural enlightenment riots by youths burning and looting with no authorities trying to stop them. Maybe a war would change all of this.

The First World War started out with incremental incidents, which built until, suddenly, there was no way to stop it. The event that finally dragged the U.S. into it was the Zimmerman Telegram, something seemingly inconsequential when you looked at it by itself.
And so did the Second -- differently, and with two different countries pounding their chests until we had what historian Victor Davis Hanson refers to as the Second World Wars (plural) in his great book with the same title.
If we should ever get to WW III, I imagine we'll do the same; look around and say "How the hell did we get ourselves into this fine mess?"

Repubs Trying to Throw the Election
Timothy Birdnow
The Empire Strikes Back:
That is exactly what is happening and why John Thune refused to move legislation. He wants Trump neutered but didn't want to openly oppose him, so he slow-walked legislation knowing the public would tire of a do-nothing Congress.

I don’t know how anyone can keep seeing these stories and not realize how the current environment, including a lot of the conspiratorial rhetoric from the far-left and alt-right, is encouraging political violence.

Increasingly America looks like it did between 1854-60. Remember Burning Kansas? John Brown? Jayhawks and Bushwhackers? We are reliving it now.

The Cornell "Rape"
Timothy Birdnow
Here is the true story of what happened in the "Cornell rape". This is utterly shocking; the woman was an entire whore and nobody ever forced her. She had an orgy with multiple men and even took drugs off a man's penis. She simply made these accusations TWO YEARS LATER.
This is really shocking. And even the President of Cornell University knew it was B.S.
That said these guys in the frat are some sick, twisted dudes and this is what you get when you gangbang a college girl, no matter how whorish she may be.
The problem is and remains that women DO lie about this stuff, and often. I thought we'd moved past this sexual terrorism by feminists. But nothing ever goes away in the halls of liberalism or academia and apparently they are trying to revive the old policy of "J'Accuse!" where the men are always guilty, even if they prove their innocence. They carry a blood debt just for having a Y chromosome.
Guess we'll have to fight this battle all over.
Anyway those boys had best get checked out for venereal diseases. Who knows what this skank was carrying. Or the other boys passed along.

Orgies aren't Forever
Timothy Birdnow
Encouraging news!
FTA:
While the report only highlights a cross-section of issues the CDC considers statistically significant, San Diego State University psychology professor Jean Twenge reviewed the full data available through the CDC’s data system and found that "younger teens are now much less likely to say they are lesbian, gay, or bisexual.”
Sixteen percent of 17-18 year olds identified as "LGB” (lesbian, gay, or bisexual), which was the highest amount for any subset of teens but a two-point drop from 2023. All younger groups were smaller and showed a bigger drop, with the most significant being 14-15 year olds, 17 percent of whom identified as LGBT in 2023 down to 11 percent in 2025.
So, despite an endless drumbeat of propaganda, being on the light-in-the-loafers spectrum is less appealing to the younger kids. It was painted as "cool" to be gay/bi/trans to kids but fads are fads and they eventually burn out. The young no longer find they get all sorts of positive attention from claiming to be in this category. That is why we saw such a big increase in the first place; not because those who were afraid were finally coming out but rather because it became the hip thing to do and kids who did found they were celebrated. Now not so much; it's old hat.
I suspect that this will drop off even more in the years to come. It was rebellious and culturally approved but now it's just what old people do. The real rebellion is to be straight, sensible, and even chaste.
Oh, I have a niece in her thirties now who calls herself pansexual even though she has no interest in anything but men. Why does she call herself that? Because it was the cool thing to do. It gave her status.
Orgies aren't forever. Neither are any of these other sexual fads.

I am Legend
Timothy Birdnow
I agree.
Stephen Hawking was very smart, of that there is no question. And his disability helped him; he admitted as much, saying he got dragged about to parties and dinners and since he couldn't so much as move his head he had nothing to do but think, so he usually was working when he was out and about.
Hawking was a great promoter of science and his books were to make the general public understand some very complicated issues in science. It was that that made his fame, not his research, which was never that important to the field of Cosmology. Hawking DID divine what is now known as "Hawking Radiation" emitted by black holes which eventually whittled down the enormous vacuum cleaners. But it wasn't enough to earn him a Nobel, and most people in his field thought of him as a competent but rather plodding scientist.
It was his story that made him such a cultural phenomenon. Stuck in a chair with a monotone computer voice (which he generated by blowing in a tube to move a curser on his computer) Hawking had a mysterious quality that is reminiscent of something out of a Greek myth. He was the Old Man on the Mountain, speaking mysterious things with a mysterious voice. This appealed to the public by touching on ancient impulses. He was like the Oracle of Delphi, giving answers that were indecipherable. Hawking had an unworldly feel about him, being trapped inside of his own body as he was, as if he could see a higher reality.
He was a legend. A good legend, certainly, but a legend.
That's not to take anything away from him. I couldn't do anything he did, nor would I have had the strength to face life that way. I'd have given up. It's an inspiring story, no question.
The author also mentions Helen Keller as someone whose legend is bigger than their lives and he's right. I would add Mother Theresa of Calcutta to that list. Mother Theresa is a saint in the Catholic Church (meaning she is known to be in Heaven and not in Purgatory or that other place) and she was indeed a holy and pius and good woman. No question. But there were other nuns, or priests, or even lay people who did as much as did she and were just as holy but for whatever reason Mother Theresa got the good press. She ran with it because it brought in money to help her in her hospice ministry, but she probably didn't care much for the fame. Still, she was feted for the wrong reasons, frankly. She was to many a trendy symbol, a kind of virtue signaling for liberals. She should have been applauded for her deep love of God and faith in God, which is not what we saw. It was her accomplishments that got her all the fame.
This is a common human attribute. Look at the legends surrounding Daniel Boone, or Davey Crocket, or the Old West folks like Wyatt Earp or Wild Bill Hickock or Jesse James (why did Jesse get all the good press when his brother Frank probably was the brains and he had the Youngers as partners? It was because Jesse was a kid and had been forced to spend his whole life as a raider since the Union army refused to accept his surrender.) Washington and Lincoln are both myths and not just men now. Kennedy too. So is Teddy Roosevelt and FDR. Human beings need myths and legends and when they don't have any they make them. In the South during the Civil War Robert E. Lee attained godlike status among most Southerners, even though he never sought that and in fact had his own flaws.
Humans are mythmakers because we want to believe in a higher power but so few want to believe in God the Father or Jesus Christ. So we are always making heroes, and often gods, out of people, be they ordinary or extraordinary (as was Stephen Hawking).
And we expect wisdom from our heroes, whether they are wise or not (many are smart but few on Earth are actually wise - there is a difference). Hawking was smart, but you could not call him wise. He rejected God before he died, for example, and THAT is most unwise indeed. I can understand the temptation; God had done something very hard to accept to him. But when you know you are leaving this world wisdom would suggest you hedge your bets. Hawking didn't and he died not long after coming out as an atheist.
I suspect that's why he lived so long in that state in the first place; he had to make up his mind but couldn't. When he finally did he was gone.
At any rate I agree with this essay. Hawking was a man and the adulation he received in his life says more about us as a people than about him or his accomplishments. I would also add that this is the thing that turns an ordinary man like Caesar into a demigod. It's a dangerous impulse, even if it is a very natural one and beneficial to a degree. We transmit our culture through our legends and heroes. But when we deify our leaders there is real danger. Look at Obama, who used Greek columns and put reverb in his speech to make him look godlike. His people were trying to make him into a Legend. Thank God THAT failed!
BTW being a legend isn't all it's cracked up to be. Yes, you get acclaim and applause, but it's not YOU they are cheering but a fictional character with your name and appearance. Even when you die it's not you who is being celebrated but this other fellow, one you never knew. Better to be beloved for you and what you did yourself and not what some people say about you.

The All Amazon Death Squad
Timothy Birdnow
Never send a woman to do a man's job...
Betsy from Pike is the first woman to be executed in Tennessee in ages and they give her an all-female team to carry out sentence. Given how it's always women who are protesting executions, and marrying serial killers and the like, one has to wonder if the Rasputin-like Pike, who survived not one but TWO lethal injections, wasn't saved by her own execution squad.
Certainly this smells to high heaven.
Pike was convicted and placed on death row for the torture and brutal slaying of a romantic rival, a girl whom Pike suspected of pursuing her boyfriend. She was sentenced to death, lost all her appeals, and sent for lethal injection. Somebody screwed it up. She's still alive after two doses of the euthanizing agent.
This chick squad needs to be brought in and grilled, and the needles inspected (I'm sure they could find enough left of the drug to see what was in those needles; I suspect someone purposely watered them down.)
Anyway Tennessee has death by firing squad and that is a more sure way to do this. Bullets can't be watered down. If all the firing squad misses then we have a problem.
Let's hope they have some men who know how to use those guns on the line.
BTW the Angel of Death, who passed over the Israelites in Egypt, was named Azrael. He was a rather fearsome angel, who was known to do his job with zero pity. Human executioners are not so good at their job as Azrael, but men will at least do it. Women are nurturers by nature and don't want to take a life. It's ridiculous we put women in this role.

Way I heard it, there are two possibilities for Pike's "lack of death:" first is that her veins were too small for the needles, second is that the chemicals that were supposed to kill her were outdated. If it was the second, it ought not to be too difficult to determine that. She did say she was experiencing pain from the chemicals, so I think the "too small veins" theory is suspect.

State Election Board Asks Trump for Help against Dominion Voting Machines
Timothy Birdnow
Raffensasperger is trying to steal the state of Georgia for the Democrats again.
The GOP needs to kick this Raffensperger creep out of the party. He has done nothing as Secretary of State but sabotage Republicans since he apparently hates Donald Trump.
We need to take action now against anything that may tamper with the vote, and we now know the Dominion machines did just that.
The Democrats are always talking about democracy yet they are fine with vote theft

Biden Judge Nullifies Federal Immigration Law
Timothy Birdnow
WTF!
Yes, judge David Leibowitz of Florida ruled that the prosecution of a Jamaican illegal immigrant for voting is illegal because voting is generally reserved to the states so, apparently, the Feds have no say, even though the woman is not a legal resident of the United States, much less a citizen, and has no right to either vote or even be here.
The Jamaican, Chelsea Cox, came her on a tourist visa and never left. She didn't bother applying for a green card.
The Biden judge declared the law under which she was prosecuted unconstitutional.
She voted in the 2012 and 2020 elections by using her Florida driver's license which she obtained by getting a fraudulent Virgin Islands birth certificate.
The whole reason she was prosecuted under the Federal statute and not a state statute is because the Feds have long demanded the states not implement their own illegal alien laws but rely on Federal statutes and Federal enforcement. Obama sued Arizona for making Federal immigration laws state laws, for instance. and he won.
So this creep comes along a nd rules federal law unconstitutional knowing full well states cannot do this themselves. Cute trick.
We have GOT to find a way to rein in these jerks, punish them when they overstep their authority (which this guy just did). I think we need to build an army of lawyers and private investigators and start digging into guys like this. They would do it to our guys.
This judge seems to think he's John C. Calhoun and can nullify any laws he doesn't like.

Groovy Economic News
Timothy Birdnow
Groovy news; There are more Americans working now than at any time since 1969!
Yes, since the time of the moon landing, Woodstock, the birth of the internet aka ARPANET, and apparently the first and only time singer Bryan Adams got laid (well, what do you expect; he's Canadian after all).
Dig this. From the far out article:
Unemployment claims in the U.S. remain at historic lows, with numbers last seen in 1969, when the country’s population was over 140 million less.
The news is just the latest proof that President Donald Trump and the Republicans have the country on the right economic course, and Americans should reject the Democrats’ big-government proposals at the ballot box in November.
The Department of Labor reported Thursday that initial claims came in at 197,000 for the week ending Sept. 26, a decrease of 1,000 from the previous week. The four-week average fell to 200,000, down from 202,500.
Now it comes down to a matter of perception. We've seen this show before, where the media convinces the public that times are hard when in fact they are quite good. They did this to George H.W. Bush, predicting a recession when the economy was riding high, artificially manufacturing one by simply insisting it was coming, then ignoring the fact it ended until after the election and Bill Clinton took office. They gave Clinton all the credit.
The media can make people think it's "brother can you spare a dime" time; the public thinks "I'm doing o.k. but apparently nobody else is". This makes them think the economy ain't truckin'
Yes, costs are too high and that hurts but the public needs to remember who drove them up in the first place - it wasn't the GOP. Current gas prices are up because of the war, but they are still substantially lower than when Biden was in office and there was no reason for them to be high except that Biden wanted to drive gas-powered vehicles off the market so they could implement the electric vehicle scheme to meet with the Paris Accord agreements.
But all the public remembers is that the prices were lower and have risen and they blame the President and the GOP in Congress. That is something the media stokes, even though the economy is truckin'. It's a gas, even if we are a bit short on bread for our gas.
So we need to keep pushing the good news like some on-fire Mormon on his missionary pilgrimage. Every time a Republican speaks he should talk about this.
Maybe we should bring bell-bottoms and afros back as a reminder of this? Peace out!

More Americans working? Well, that's nice, but there are also more Americans, and it might be worth noting that there is a
smaller percentage of those Americans working. A mere 59% of those Americans are participating in the work force, the lowest number in many years.

Guess Who Clancey's Lawer is Blaming
Timothy Birdnow
Lindsay Clancey's attorney Kevin Reddington puts the blame squarely where it belongs - on Donald Trump!
Yes, he blamed other Republicans too, such as Ted Cruz and Nancy Mace. I mean, why wouldn't he blame the GOP for this? It's obvious Trump snuck into Clancey's home while she was in the bathroom and murdered her three children, then framed her for it.
That may as well be his argument.
Reddington melted down in court about Trump and the GOP, because they dared express opinions about this case (gee; I kinda thought we had free speech in America) and he argued the prosecution hadn't proven their case. But in the trial Reddington never disputed that Clancey did it, but rather argued she was insane at the time. He did that because in Massachusetts the prosecution has the burden of proof to show the defendant was sane at the time of the crime. By meticulously examining the timeline and actions of Clancey they did just that.
Reddington of course outed the lone holdout juror and then asked the court to investigate the man. He was trying to send a message to future jurors; if you buck me you will pay dearly. It's jury tampering.
The juror's lawyer has filed a complaint with the bar. Reddington needs to be disbarred, and probably prosecuted. That was a criminal act.
Then the nutso lawyer went on his tirade about Trump and the GOP in an effort to gin up the unhinged white women who already were protesting Clancey's innocence (while completely ignoring her murdered children). It's an attempt to start trouble.
The article rightly compares this to the O.J. trial where all sorts of idiots showed up to protest the "Juice's" innocence against all the evidence and reason.
I wonder about Reddington; he is taking this far too personally. What exactly has been going on in the prep room with the comely Mrs. Clancey?
Anyhoo this story is a soap opera and has become as ridiculous as any soap, with a little pro rasslin' thrown in the mix.

How SCOTUS May Have Saved Christmas (and the GOP)
Timothy Birdnow
Jim Hoft
chronicles how the Supreme Court ruling that allowed the DOJ access to voter roles in all fifty states and to produce lists of registered voters to give to the individual states is going to have a profound impact on the vote and prevent a lot of Democrat cheating.
It's fairly long; read it yourself.
It's a good thing and almost makes up for the Court refusing to rule in favor of Trump over birthright citizenship. Almost.

Dems Win Mullah Vote
Timothy Birdnow
Looks like the Democrats won the Mullah vote this election.
They wrote a ridiculous letter saying their nukes were entirely peaceful (why do they need nukes with all their oil?) and that the U.S. economy is about to collapse because of Trump.
It's really funny, much like Saddam Hussein's information officer saying the Americans were driven out of Iraq as you can hear the sound of gunfire. But it's important to remember that if the Iranians want the Democrats to win we don't want them. Iran has been shouting "Death to America" for generations now. Yeah; we should take advice from them!

U.S. Army Weaponized Ebola
Timothy Birdnow
DEAR GOD! This is insane!
Damn right it should never have been done!
Ebola is a terrifying disease with a kill rate that makes Smallpox seem like a winter cold. You die a horrible death with blood pouring out of every cavity of your body. It eats men's testicles like a gourmet dish. Nobody in their right mind would aerosolize it. The only reason to try that would be to make it into a biological weapon.
ebola has a mortality rate (depending on the strain and the level of medical care) between 25% and 90%, unless it's Ebola Reston which is benign in humans. It's the most lethal pathogen on Earth.
I'm pleasantly surprised Fauci realized the monstrous stupidity of doing this.
USAAMRID, the Army's biological research center, has long studied Ebola and it's cousin Marburg.
Actually, Fauci wasn't upset about the research (which showed vaccinated individuals were more prone to get sic from it than the unvaccinated) so much as about it being made public; he feared it would keep people from getting vaccinated for things and would hamper research.
That said, Fauci did say this should never have been done. Fauci is right on that.
We've been conducting research on bioweapons for decades now despite an executive order from Richard Nixon closing these programs. It is illegal to do them in the United States. But that was the loophole; the U.S. has largely been doing them in foreign countries. There were dozens in the Ukraine, for instance, which leads me to believe that was part of why Russia invaded them. Imagine if Canada or Mexico had hundreds of bioweapons research labs sitting next to the border; we'd attack for sure.
Weaponizing Ebola is insane; it's way, way too dangerous. You couldn't stop the outbreak once you started it.
The people involved in this need to be brought to account.

Dems Want High Electricity Prices
Timothy Birdnow
How anyone could vote Democrat is beyond me.
All they care about is wrecking everything so they can take political advantage. And the news media won't report this to give them cover. It's disgraceful.
Of course they want high electric bills and have for some time to promote solar panels and windmills and other ineffectual technology.

The Invermectin of the Bureaucracy
Timothy Birdnow
More winning.
The U.S.
created a lot of jobs this quarter. The only ones losing jobs were the public sector. That is a huge win for America. The public sector produces nothing but instead takes and restrains those who do produce. The are parasites. You don't feed parasites - you remove them. Trump is the Invermectin of politics.

Sen. Jim "Buford T." Justice Goes Rogue - Then Retreats
Timothy Birdnow
A Republican Senator from West Virginia, the honorable Buford T., er, Jim Justice, went on a rant about ICE and has been
forced to backtrack, claiming now he's all on-board with Trump's repatriation policy.
So which of Justice's faces are we to believe?
Two Face told Politico that:
"Before you know it, you get people that get carried away in their job and whatever it may be, and all of a sudden, then you’re dragging people away that have lived on your street corner for 15 years, and I don’t know that we need to be doing that stuff,” he said in an interview.
"To get better, the first thing you got to do is admit you’re doing something wrong,” he went on, "and in this situation, with all that’s going on and all the stuff, we probably got to step back from it and say, ‘Maybe we’re doing something wrong here or there,’ and then adjust to that.”
Well, when people are trying to ram you with their car or are screaming in your face what are you supposed to do? Give them a stern look?
Buford, er, Jim then went on to retract his statement:
"Let me be crystal clear: I support President Trump’s immigration strategy, full stop. It’s not surprising that some are twisting my words to score political points, but there should be no confusion about where I stand,” Justice said in a press release, calling the administration’s crackdown on illegal border crossings a "tremendous achievement.”"Our brave ICE officers are doing an incredible job protecting our communities, and they must continue to focus on criminals who are here illegally and putting Americans in danger. Violent criminals, drug traffickers, gang members and others who threaten our communities should be identified, arrested and removed,” he added.
"West Virginians expect us to enforce the law, protect our communities, and keep dangerous criminals off our streets. That is exactly what I support.”
Jim Justice is up for re-election in '28 and is considering a run for Governor. He was probably trying to win the support of some of the big businesses that use illegal labor in the state. But he angered the MAGA crowd.
Meanwhile...
President Trump has
slashed Muslim immigration to America by 90%. It needs to be by a hundred, and we need to deport as many as possible, but it's a start.
Wonder what Jim Justice thinks about THAT?
Neighboring Virginia ranks eighth in total Muslim population by state. I couldn't find a ranking that gave us a total per capital population but there are 17,960 Muslims in the state and while that is a small number it's a fair proportion of the population. Neighboring Virginia has 169 thousand and likely at least some of them work in West Virginia. West Virginia's population is 1.77 million.
So the good Senator probably wanted to triangulate, keeping the Immigration people including the Muzzie lovers and the Muslims themselves happy while trying not to anger the MAGA folks. Remember, West Virginia is the state that gave us KKK Byrd after all. It's purple.
Senator Justice has actually been a pretty good Senator but he apparently doesn't like the job much and wants to return as W. Virginia Governor, a post he held before running for the Senate. Success in Washington and success in the state are two different things.
I tire of the political weaklings who run for cover whenever there is any sort of flak. We see it all the time; Trump's first administration was riddled with such cowards. If the Democrats win Congress (which is what Justice is waiting to find out before making his decision to quit) then the tables will turn and a guy like Justice doesn't want the nasty fight that will come. So he's now trying to suck up to both sides.
That is the mark of a double-minded man.
And why did he give this interview to Politico anyway? When are out people going to learn that they will never do anything that will help us. Rush Limbaugh understood that, which is why he rarely gave interviews, even to Fox News. He said on his show that he learned early ont hey would take one statement out of context and that would be it. There is no fairness in "journalism". Our people still don't understand that.
That is why Trump campaigned outside the system this last time, using podcasts and other social media far more than the old legacy corporate media. And it worked - beautifully. Granted he was going up against a woman who would lose to a potted plant, but still...
Immigration is going to destroy us in years to come, as surely as it did the Roman Empire. We need to understand that. Hopefully Buford T. learned his lesson.

Trucking Fuel Becoming a Crisis
Timothy Birdnow
If big trucking companies are going bankrupt, think about what is happening to the little independent truckers.
Diesel prices are at the core of at least some of the inflation we see now; everything moves by truck and trucks move by diesel. The equation is simple.
And despite the U.S. producing more oil than anyone in the world we do not have enough refinery space to do it. The Obama/Biden Administrations, along with W. Bush, not only let our refining capacity wane but actually encouraged closing them to make us dependent on foreign oil products and trying to force us into "green energy". So now we
lack the ability to produce diesel even while we are lousy with the raw materials.
President Trump greenlighted the construction of a new refinery, the first in many decades, but it will take time to bring it online. And if he loses Congress it may never come online as they will start trying to find ways to kill it.
In the modern world most famines are not caused by crop failures but from political problems. Africa, for instance, often suffers famines because of wars and revolutions. The same holds true for oil prices; they are high for entirely artificial reasons, most of it tied to green energy and political machinations otherwise. Right now America should be enjoying dirt cheap oil but we aren't because of disastrous past policies and machinations in the oil producing countries beyond our control. I am quite certain the Saudis are not ramping up production now to screw over Trump and the GOP and to avoid angering Iran, for instance. And speculators drive up the prices, which may well be being done to try to drive regime change in Washington.
Diesel is at the heart of our economy and the elites know it. They had to know the war between Russia and Ukraine would do this (which may be part of why they don't want it settled). Russia is one of the biggest diesel exporters in the world, or was anyway.
At any rate we have to do something to boost diesel production and do it fast. This negates tax cuts and cuts in government size and spending and keeps driving up inflation. Then the Democrats can crow about "affordability".

Hmm..hadn't heard about that Mike. Yeah; probably won't happen. And what would it accomplish anyway? That won't bring the price of diesel down. And how do we end the Russo-Ukrainian war, which is what is driving the price spike?

Get out the hot tar and Chicken Clothes!
Timothy Birdnow
This judge has zero authority to do this. The President has broad authority to set qualifications for such matters.
This is getting ridiculous; these lower court judges aren't even trying to follow the law anymore.
This shows just how deeply embedded the Left is in our judiciary, and how we let them simply take it over without putting up a fight. The Democrats fight tooth-and-nail to block the appointment of Constitutionalist judges but our side always thought "they won - their picks" and handed the entire branch of government over to them. Now those chickens are coming home to roost. This is why the Democrats concentrated so much on packing the judiciary in the first place.
This judge is based in Oakland, Ca. and yet has issued this ruling to apply to the entire nation in direct violation of the Supreme Court ruling.
Haywood Gilliam, the judge, said the Administration did not follow procedure. But the suit was brought by labor unions, non-profit organizations, and employers. How the hell do they have standing? The employers maybe but certainly not unions and NGO's. This case should have been dismissed for lack of standing.
The judge said they must make a formal proposal for a rule change and a 30 to 60 day public comment period.
The whole intent of this is to slow this down to see if the Democrats win Congress. It has no other purpose.
The plaintiffs argued the President has no authority to impose a higher fee to generate revenue. But that's not the purpose; it's to discourage corporations from seeking cheap labor from overseas and to encourage them to hire Americans. This judge has to know this argument is bull.
The Pesident has broad discretion in terms of immigration and always has.
According to the article the plaintiffs include Global Nurse Force and the American Association of University Professors, who have zero right to weigh in on this. None.
The article states:
"Without relief, hospitals will lose medical staff, churches will lose pastors, classrooms will lose teachers, and industries across the country risk losing key innovators,” litigation and advocacy nonprofit Democracy Forward Foundation, representing the plaintiffs, said in a statement.
America has 330 million citizens. How, pray tell, is it that they can't find qualified candidates for these positions from among those millions? America is the third most populous nation on Earth.
My brother is a college professor, a very good one, who has never been able to get a tenure track position because in part of policies like this. He's a white male who is conservative and universities would rather hire less qualified women and in fact will import foreigners over giving white men these kinds of jobs. It's disgraceful.
And often the Americans lose their jobs to these foreigners and are forced to train their replacements.
This argument is a total farce and any judge who deserves to be on the bench should be able to tell it is b.s. But this judge is obviously another partisan hack in a black robe.
We need to take control of Congress and begin impeaching judges like this, or eliminating their district courts and making new ones without them. Willfully ignoring SCOTUS rulings as this judge is doing deserves impeachment. In the old days they would tar and feather the jerk and run him out of town. Those were the good old days; kept judges honest. Now they run amok, thwarting the will of the People as they choose.
This will probably be overturned by a superior court, but it wastes time and money, which is exactly what the Demoleft wants. It's not about justice or about stopping what they see as an unjust or wrong policy - it's about political machinations. EVERYTHING is riding on this next election for them. They want to kick as many cans down the road as they can in the hopes Congress will flip and maybe they can impeach Trump and remove him from office. At least they can tie him up in endless litigation and make him impotent until the next election where they hope to win the Presidency and reverse everything Trump has done.
There is a special place in Hell for corrupt judges like this.
