The Fetid Swamp
Timothy Birdnow
This morning Western Journalism is chock-full of stories about the corruption and duplicity of the bureaucracy and even White House insiders who appear to have plotted the overthrow of the GOP.
First, we have
this report in which former RFK Jr. adviser Calley Means dishes to Joe Rogain, er Rogan:
The advisor who broached the alliance between President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expressed disappointment with remarkable candor in an interview on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Friday.
"There is a very concentrated group of people in the Trump administration that are antagonistic to what people voted for and, I think it’s very clear, are doing things for other reasons, particularly in many cases to enrich their families,” said former Kennedy advisor Calley Means.
"The way this White House is set up, it has the most centralized control, up to the chief of staff’s office, of any administration in American history.”
That chief of staff was, of course, Susie Wiles, the recently departed Ice queen.
Means has more to say on that:
In the first Trump administration, the White House policy shop operated separately from the political fundraising apparatus. But according to Means, they were indistinguishable in his second administration.
"Day one, we made the midterm strategy the policy strategy. So she would often say that we can’t do certain things because that would hurt special interest configurations for the midterms,” he said.
Wiles was the head of Trump's campaign arm and was his primary fundraiser.
This explains much, because Wiles courted the same donors who the Bush family courted, and they expected the same tired policies. That's why Trump seemed so much less, well, fun to be a bit imprecise, in this term. He was a hellraiser in his first term but seemed much more circumspect this time around. It seems that was the workings of Wiles and no doubt the other big money peeps in the Administration - Tony Fabrizio, a pollster, political fundraisers James Blair and Chris LaCivita are mentioned in the article. Wiles was a standard issue political call girl.
And Fabrizio was a pollster so we had Clinton-style governance by polling. Well, he isn't a very good pollster apparently...
Means has more to say in the second article, warning a bunch of insiders are purposely trying to bring hte Trump presidency down.
Meanwhile, a bunch of government employees with high level security clearances
were caught spying for foreign powers.
One was a guy spying for Ethiopia, one Ibraham Teklu Lemma. Now, a man named Ibraham Teklu Lemma is undoubtedly going to be spying for Ethiopia, and he should never have had a security clearance in the first place. The article does not state if he's an immigrant or not, but top security clearances should only go to native born Americans. Our love of "diversity" is going to be the death of us.
The Ethiopian spy worked at State Department, Justice Department and National Reconnaissance Office, according to the article.
I must complain; when I was a young man I couldn't get hired on in government work, despite the Cold War still ongoing and I a Russian and history major. Neither could anyone else from the Russian program. But some goat herder from the land of very skinny people comes here and gets a top job at State. That is bullpoop. There are plenty of qualified Americans who could take those jobs, but our government decided it was more important to have foreigners running things because, like diversity is our strength and stuff!
The article does not say this guy is an immigrant, but I suspect that is the case.
Just so you know I'm not picking on ferners, another sleezeball traitor - this guy a top CIA contractor named Thomas Ashbacher, got busted for leaking top secret stuff to his journalist girlfriend.
And the best is of course James "86 47" Comey was arrested and is facing felony charges. Hopefully they will get the rotten scumbag this time. Comeover is charged with leaking classified information to the press.
At any rate our government is just crawling with swamp creatures great and small and Trump has been unable to drain it - no doubt do to the gentle intervention of Wiles, who appears to be as swampy as it comes.
I am so glad she's gone.
