This is actually a great opportunity for this company; they should use a gator is it's mascot.
When I worked in real estate I went into an apartment to do a move-out inspection. I went into the bathroom and started looking at the sink when movement caught my eye in the mirror. I turned around to find not one but TWO three foot alligators in the bathtub, eyeing me hungrily. They obviously hadn't eaten in a while and the were both up on the edge of the tub, jaws wide open, staring at me. I was out the door in one leap! The very last thing you expect is to find two alligators taking a bath in an apartment.
One of the guys who worked for us was an expert on reptiles and he went and got them out and took them to a special farm where they could live out their days. That guy had some stones; he would pick up snakes without thinking twice. In fact, he was one of the very few people on Earth to survive a bite by a Gila Monster. And he had a cobra that got out of it's cage and crawled into the wall of his apartment. He wasn't worried; slept there every night. The thing was on the loose for months before he finally caught it. Crazy so and so.
I wonder if the authorities sent a veterinarian along with animal control. After all, the critter was probably thirsty and needed some gator-aid...

Why wasnt a negotiation team sent in. This gator could be reclaiming ancestral lands. I demand a UN investigation into this. Call the SPLC to lawyer up this gator and bring in Congress to act accordingly. I love the guy holding the chair like it would have protected his legs if the gator made a lunge at him.
