Pushing the Populace to Violence

From our friend from across the pond, Daniel Jupp:

In Thetford in Norfolk there has been three days of protest that has turned violent. People were objecting to an old RAF base being used to house 1,250 asylum seekers.
The media and politicians are in a frenzy condemning the protestors. They say they are ‘targeting families’.
What they don’t tell you is that the nearest village to the RAF base has 850 residents.
They were planning to swamp these innocent people with third world migrants.
What they don’t link the ‘disgusting violence’ to is the fact that at least 250,000 white children were brutally gang raped and tortured over 40 years.
Or that for 80 years people have been peacefully protesting against mass immigration while being ignored.
Or that I’d bet my life that the residents in Thetford tried every legal avenue of complaint and dissent imaginable while being ignored.
There is a very simple way of ending all migrant child rapes and all migrant terrorism and all native protest, peaceful or not so peaceful.
Don’t import third world populations. Don’t swamp villages with migrants. Don’t expect people to pay taxes to shelter asylum seekers that endanger the taxpayers children.
End all asylum.
You know, as people have been asking you to do, asking with incredible law abiding peacefulness, for decades.
It’s actually revolting that the people who, by prioritising migrants and ignoring child rape and terrorism, created the violence, then think they are in a moral position to condemn it.

A note from Tim:

What is coming is a time like that of Ireland with "the Troubles" where citizens begin fighting a guerilla war against both the aliens and the government. The IRA and especially the Provisional IRA led the British on a merry chase for decades and they can train the English and Welch and Scots in how to fight back. It is a dreadful prospect but their government is forcing them to it. They don't have any other options I fear. Britain is going to become a blood-soaked archipelago.

Time to Wrap this Thing UP

Timothy Birdnow

One thing you have to say about the Iranians, they sure do have chutzpah.

Here are their demands:

A top Iranian national security official delivered a sweeping set of demands on Saturday that he said the United States must meet before the Strait of Hormuz can reopen to maritime traffic, throwing the fate of the critical trade waterway into question.

Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, issued a statement carried by state media laying out multiple requirements for reopening the strait. He called for the United States to lift its naval blockade and sanctions on Iran, withdraw the U.S. military from around Iran, pay war reparations and release frozen Iranian assets, as well as end attacks on Iran’s allies in the region and threats against the country.

Trump needs to end this game of whack-a-mole and start seriously, aggressively destroying their infrastructure.

I just don't see where Mr. Trump is going with this but it has all the appearance of a quagmire. Even if he has a sound strategy it's not evident.

The problem with America in any war is that the public demands progress. In times past the media would be on-board with any war we were fighting but no more, so it's up to the President to show us the progress; he can't count on the media to do it. Without that the public will quickly sour on the whole affair. As with the Tet Offensive in Vietnam you can win the battles but lose the war if you lose the public.

Trump is losing the public, and this could be what drags down his whole Presidency. He needs a big win.

In 1863 President Abraham Lincoln had dreadful poll numbers and was expected to lose in the upcoming year. He was running against his former general George McClelaen, who wanted to sue for peace with the Confederacy and let them go. But then Robert E. Lee made the biggest blunder of his career, trying to go toe-to-toe with the Union Army under George Mead, a general willing to fight, and he did it with the Union Army encamped up on the high ground surrounding the valley of Gettysburg. Instead of turning and flanking the Union, and moving off towards D.C. and a better piece of ground for them Lee insisted on making a full frontal assault on the heights - and the Union army cut them to ribbons. The pasting the Confederates too at Gettysburg was so bad that when Lee prompted the man who led the charge - Gen. George Pickett - to "look to his division" the thunderstruck Pickett replied "General, I have no division". The Union had wiped out the man's entire command.

Buoyed by this victory and the now inevitability of a Union victory Lincoln sailed on to easily defeat McClellan. As Douglas McArthur would say almost a century later "there is no substitute for victory".

Limited warfare rarely achieves victory. It's like the prevent defense in football; you give up way too much ground as you are playing defense.

That appears to be Trump's strategy. It may even be sound in that every day this blockage continues is another day towards total insolvency for the Islamic Republic, but it does not take into account the real need to keep the American People on board. Lose the upcoming election and the Democrats will defund the war effort, and probably pass a War Powers resolution. (At least if they do that we will finally get an answer as to the Constitutionality of said Act.)

Anyway Trump needs to get his orange buttocks into gear.

No Child Left

Timothy Birdnow

This Politico article looks at the declining birthrate in the West and finds every imaginable cause except the obvious - the elites in the West actively, purposely encouraged a population decline.

There was the Club of Rome study "Limits to Growth" and Paul Ehrlich's book "The Population Bomb" and the eites on both sides of the pond (and even both hemispheres of the globe) started an active program to reduce fertility. Then when it worked it's "gooooollllyy" in their best Gomer Pyle voice.

Ehrlich, for instance, prophecied that by the year 2000 we would be in Road Warrior conditions, with civilization in complete collapse.

All manner of tools were used to discourage population growth, from public education to inflation to the sexual revolution and the increasing crowding out of Christianity from public life. They broke the family and so many young people grew up with the pain of the loss of family and those children fear doing that to their own kids (my best friend was from a broken home and he resolved not to ever have children out of fear of doing that to his own children.) The sexual revolution went a long way to restricting fertility - why buy the cow when the milk is free? And especially why have children if you aren't married, and why get married if you get the benefits without the commitment? The rise of homosexuality and other "alternate" lifestyles too helped reduce fertility. (I remember reading an essay by the atheist s-f writer Isaac Asimov from back in the fifties or sixties -can't remember when exactly - calling for the mainstreaming of homosexuality as a tool to control population.) Inflation has made having children more difficult as it means everything costs more and to provide a decent life for your family you need a LOT more money, and to get that you have to have child care while you work yourself into an early grave. So the children get deferred and sacrificed altogether.

This was no confluence of unfortunate incidents. It was a carefully planned strategy by the people who run our Western civilization.

The Catholic Church used to oppose birth control and the dirty little secret is they still do. But they are quiet about it these days out of fear of being thought of as killjoys. For that matter they let young couples shack up and do not admonish them, even going so far as to let them do counseling and other such tasts for the Church, up to and including being Eucharistic Ministers.

And let us not forget feminism. The Women's Movement turned male/female relationships into battle grounds, and the women have largely won. What does that entail? It means the men lose all their testosterone and either become asexualized eunuch-like boyfriends or stop being involved with women on an emotional level at all. Oh, they'll have sex with women, but as long as it's a one and done proposition.

I find it quite interesting to note that men's testosterone levels have been falling like a stone for decades now. This is often blamed on weight and inactivity and bad diet, but one wonders if it isn't an evolutionary response to the masculinization of women? Or is it preservatives or other chemicals used in food these days? Certainly if a young boy is told being male makes him a dirtbag and he's going to be punished his whole life for that there would be an evolutionary reason to see a reduction in testosterone. Remember that some critters like certain frogs can change sex when their population gets too far out of balance (remember Jurassic Park?) and in biology there is a thing called neoteny, which is where unexpressed genes reassert themselves from environmental conditions. That is epigenetics. Now the boy isn't becoming a girl but he's becoming perhaps more girly and less masculine as being a man's man is not conducive to his overall well-being these days. The women, by comparison, are walking around and acting like men and we see this with our own eyes; women are now larger, stronger, and more aggressive than they had been in bygone days. In other words they are more like men. With all that competition around the genome probably thinks it needs to feminize.

Which is exactly why we are seeing more trans people these days. Oh, part of it is the relaxation of public opinion against it, but I rather suspect it's a coefficient of the feminism that has swept the West. Young boys are not just getting more girly, some of them are outright believing they ARE girls.

This dovetails nicely with the population control movement. Get men having sex with boys who look like girls so they cannot procreate. Men who wouldn't have sex with other men might be willing to have sex with men who look like women, and thus you accomplish what Asimov suggested more easily.

I would like to point out they have been pushing trans stuff for decades and few realized it. Remember "Some Like it Hot"? How about Dog Day Afternoon where Al Pacino is having a romantic relationship with a tranny? Our cultural elites have been pushing this for a long, long time. Is it any wonder we see it growing now?

Men and women are made by God to be complementary. Feminism has made them competitors. You don't have children with your enemy.

Climate Change alarmism and the other pieces of catastrophism promoted by the media is cited in the article and it certainly has it's blame in all this too. How many doomsday prophecies have we witnessed over the years? Author Michael Crichton wrote a whole book on the matter - State of Fear. As he rightly pointed out the public is kept in a constant state of fear to empower the rulers and keep the public too busy with fantom fears to actually stop them from pushing their agenda.

So in conclusion we can talk about fatter people and young people who are too lazy to marry and have children, but it all goes back to a culture that has pushed them in that direction, and that culture was guided by the Club of Rome and other very wealthy Leftists (now the World Economic Forum) and what they sought worked beautifully. We are now facing a catastrophe' as we can't pay for our pyramid-scheme programs, and their answer is to bring in people from the Third World who never got the no children memo.

Our elites have led us to the suicide pit. And we're jumping right in!

BTW they are still hard at work in pushing for a drastic reduction in the world's population.

Planned Parenthood: Abortion is "Gender-Affirming Care"

Timothy Birdnow

Planned Parenthood has outdone themselves with this one; they are calling abortion "gender affirming care".

I remember George Carlin going on about euphemistic phrases years ago. Read what he had to say about them here.

James Joyce says it best:

"Goatish creatures with human faces, horny-browed, lightly bearded and grey as india-rubber. The malice of evil glittered in their hard eyes, as they moved hither and thither, trailing their long tails behind them. . . . Soft language issued from their spittleless lips as they swished in slow circles round and round the field, winding hither and thither through the weeds, dragging their long tails amid the rattling canisters. They moved in slow circles, circling closer and closer to enclose, to enclose, soft language issuing from their lips, their long swishing tails besmeared with stale shite, thrusting upwards their terrific faces . . .."
(James Joyce, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, 1916)

The uglier a thing is the more it needs a coat of colorful paint to hide it.

Former Sec. of the Air Force Leaked about Air Force One

Timothy Birdnow

All of them traitors.

From the Gateway Pundit article:

The Department of War on Friday revoked former Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall’s eligibility for access to classified intel after he leaked classified information about Air Force One to the media.

The Biden-era Air Force Secretary leaked sensitive information about President Trump’s Qatari-gifted Air Force One jet to The New York Times.

Full statement from Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell:

Effective immediately, the Department of War has REVOKED former Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall’s eligibility for access to classified information and his ability to hold any sensitive position.

This action follows his unauthorized disclosure of classified information regarding Air Force One’s capabilities to a media outlet.

Safeguarding classified information is a non-negotiable duty. Those who violate that trust forfeit the privilege of access and any role requiring it.

Leaking such information has only one purpose - to make the President more vulnerable and perhaps get him killed. This guy needs to go to the slammer.

The Church of Falstaff

Timothy Birdnow

Homosexuality is a mortal sin according to the Catholic Church. A person who is vociferously homosexual is ex-communicated by the laws of the Church. So why is this guy even a priest, much less receiving honors?

I'll tell you why, because he's a BLACK gay priest and the Church is terrified of defrocking him.

FTA:

"Fr. Bryan Massingale, a priest with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and a professor at Fordham University, received the John Courtney Murray Award from the Catholic Theological Society of America in June."

I guess this theological society hasn't read their Bibles:

1Corinthians 6:9

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor the effeminate...shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

That couldn't be any clearer. This theological society is celebrating someone the Bible proclaims "unrighteous".

And worse he's a Liberation Theology guy. A Marxist - racist who demands the world bend to HIS will, not to God's.

Here's the kind of batguano this guy spews:

"Because God’s vision of the world is one in which all flourish, without exception. As Catholic theologians, we are called to see the world as God does. To dream God’s dream for the world.”

No, God's vision for the world is one in which all come to Christ, all seek His face and make the arduous trek to the prize at the end. God isn't a God of success and benefits, as he seems to believe. He's not Santa Claus, seeking to bestow whatever someone's little heart desires on them. While God wants to give us good things He has a larger purpose for us here and what this "priest" is doing is desacralizing life and even God. Life is about the salvation of souls; the here and now is simply a vehicle to that end. Life is short - Paul called it "our momentary, light affliction" and compared it to labor pains in a woman who forgets all about them as soon as her child is born.

This isn't to say that we aren't called to help others and be kind whenever possible but that is as much, nay more, for our own benefit than the benefit of others. God Himself needs no help with anything. Ass I pointed out in The Cruelty of Caesar's Charity years ago it was God Himself who created poverty (and of course race and nation) and God can solve it any time He likes. But it serves a useful spiritual purpose - to teach US charity. Making ending poverty or racism or tribalism or any other thing near and dear to the heart of most liberals the primary goal is to grossly misunderstand God's purposes. And those efforts are doomed to fail because they are being done purely in human strength. God does not bless such efforts because they elevate a new god before HIm.

That's why we've spent billions of dollars on the "war on poverty" and have more poverty to show for it; we didn't ask God to bless our efforts, and we committed a crime - we stole money from taxpayers to fund these programs against the will of said taxpayers.

That is what Liberation Theology is - covetousness and envy put forward as a high moral principle. It is not spiritual in nature. In fact declassified documents from the KGB showed they created it to splinter off Latin America from the U.S. so they could subvert the Latin American nations and turn them red. Pope John Paul II wisely suppressed LT and Pope Benedict did likewise. Francis brought it back and now Leo is nurturing the jackal child.

I own the DVD for the television show Evil and was watching it the other day. This particular episode saw the lead character David being tempted from the priesthood by a former priest turned protestant minister. His argument was that David would be free of all the rules and demands of the hierarchical church, and "if you want to do something you just do it". He mentioned how his church had organized a group to go to a Black Lives Matter protest. David, who was black (both of them were) was sympathetic to the social gospel being preached, but only to a point "what about the supernatural" to which the minister replied "oh, the hocus pocus" and made his contempt for the spiritual side of Christianity clear. To him Christianity was essentially a welfare and social justice program and nothing more.

That was an excellent scene in the show because it showed the differences between liberal Christianity and the traditional conservative Christianity; the liberals don't worry about the hereafter or about following the word of God so much as about what they deem to be "love" and that love moves as fashions in society change. There are no permanent things to the liberal Christian. There is no real need to save souls but rather to save bodies alone. In their way of thinking all are saved, God will not turn any away, even those who are evil. It is a very unchristian philosophy; Jesus warned repeatedly about the terribleness of Hell and damnation. He came and suffered and died to try to keep people out of Hell, but He can't do it alone - people have to want to accept His salvation. Too few do. Certainly guys like this "queer priest" doesn't want it.

There is absolutely no point in the social gospel type of Christianity. There are far more entertaining things to do if you remove the spiritual aspects of Christianity from it; may as well just have a secular social service club. They at least will let you drink beer while you are working...

That is why the Church keeps seeing declining membership (and that is why the Catholic Church is so eager to get immigrants from Latin America - they want to shore up their donations and can't figure out how to do it while preaching a content-free version of Catholicism). The Church offers an increasingly content-free product. It's like Falstaff Beer. Falstaff was a brewing company owned by the Lemp family and they had a very predatory practice, targeting breweries in small towns, undercutting those breweries, then bankrupting them and buying them for pennies on the dollar. Falstaff forgot one important point - the beer. They let the quality slide, using cheap ingredients and cutting back on the amount of barley malt and hops. The product declined and sales declined and the brewery found itself overextended with a product nobody wanted anymore. In the end Falstaff couldn't pay their bills and went bankrupt. The Catholic Church is following this very same trajectory.

They've cut back on the amount of spiritual barley-malt and moral hops and now their product is insipid and nobody wants it anymore.

So the Church is turning to guys like this "queer priest" to give the faith an "edge" but that only brings the enemies of Christ in - not the target audience. The Church is not a social club, not a service organization, and not a place of entertainment. Gut the deeply spiritual, stop talking about sin and damnation, angels and demons, right and wrong and you wind up with Falstaff. Insipid, flavorless, content free. And souls are perishing because the Church refuses to tell them that they are.

We need to start formally excommunicating people like this. This is why we ended up with the pedophilia scandal in the first place; the Church refused to acknowledge the real danger posed by filling it's ranks with sodomites just so they could get warm bodies. They would fill their ranks with Godly men if they offered a Godly message, but they prefer friendship with the world over friendship with God.

Dumb-Bell Wins

Timothy Birdnow

Wesley Bell, the lefty Black Lives Matter guy who beat Cori Bush to become my Congressman, has won re-election for Missouri's 1st Congressional district.

I voted for Bell. Why? Because, although there were four Democrats in the race, it was down to Bell or Bush and while Bell stinks on ice he's better than Bush, who is another insane "Democratic Socialist". Bell at least supports Israel and does a few other non crazy things.

And while I'll vote for whoever the Republicans put up it will be fruitless; the primary in my district is the election. No Republican is ever going to win a House seat in this district again.

In other Missouri news a bill to get rid of the state income tax went down in terrible flames, so we are stuck with filling out the damned forms year in and year out. There was a LOT of money advertising against this bill and little for it.

We also passed more spending bills here. In fact, everything I opposed and everything I supported crashed and burned.

It was a bad night for me.

Eo, Eo, No!

Timothy Birdnow

President Donald J. Trump has announced he is canceling all Biden Executive Orders signed by autopen, which he estimates at over 92% of Biden orders.

Suck on THAT Democrats!

This is perfectly legal in that no former President can force his successor to keep an Executive Order. Only Congress ca do that (by passing a law). The courts often stick their noses in too even though they really have no right. But a President can't commit his successor and make it stick.

My question is, why not rescind all of them? If there are any at all worth having (and I seriously doubt it) why not rescind them and rewrite them himself? Nothing Joe Biden's administration put out is worth keeping. None of it.

Anyway, expect a series of legal challenges to this, and a bunch of Biden or Obama judges saying Trump can't do that.

When Andrew Johnson was impeached the principle charge against him was he violated the Tenure of Office Act. All the other charges against Johnson (and there were 20 in all) were bogus and couldn't be made to stick (like public drunkenness; his doctor gave him a cough medicine with alcohol in it when he - a teetotaler - was ill.) But the Tenure of Office Act was put in place by the Republicans to hamstring the Democrat Johnson's Presidency. It basically said he could not fire any of Lincoln's cabinet. Eventually the law was struck down by SCOTUS but not before Johnson nearly was removed from office, being just one vote shy (and the Senator who so voted had to go into hiding as he was receiving death threats).

My point? The act was illegal because it was a violation of separation of powers. Congress cannot decide who serves the President of the United States.

And any tampering with Trump's executive order privilege would be doing likewise. If the courts block Trump on this they will be in gross violation of the separation of powers, usurping the Executive Branch's authority.

Executive orders are only supposed to be incumbent upon the Executive Branch of government but have since become de-facto laws because the government is so huge and everyone gets a piece of the taxpayer pie. But it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to just be the President telling the bureaucracy how to do things - as he sees fit.

At any rate heads are already exploding and we shall see a scenario play out similar to the ending of Mars Attacks. It should be fun to watch.

Pride Goeth Before Fauci's Fall

Timothy Birdnow

In a straight party vote the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to hold Anthony "Dr. Maskeley" Fauci in contempt of Congress.

The career civil servant (which speaks volumes; his allegiance is to the bureaucracy, not science, even though he said "I am Science" like Palpatine said he was the Senate in Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith) who looks like the Heaven's Gate cult leader refused to answer such intricate questions as "what color is the paper in front of you" and "what day is it". I guess he feared showing he hadn't gone to kindergarten.

The matter of compelled testimony after receiving a pardon is complicated and open for judicial review. See here for details. But the Fifth Amendment is to keep a person from being compelled to act as a witness against himself and that is not what Dr. Foo Chi was doing here - he was being compelled to tell the truth and testify in a matter that COULD NOT lead to any charges or punishments against him. That is crucial to understand; Fauci could have answered these questions honestly and walked away with not so much as a Bronx cheer. I mean, he could have testified he kidnapped a little boy and raped the kid to death and he would have walked out of there a free man. His problem was that he didn't want to damage his reputation and telling the truth would have damaged his reputation. Lying would have gotten him in legal trouble as his pardon ended with the autopen. So he took the Fifth.

Sound strategy if you are a megalomaniac, but it does put the man in some legal jeopardy.

It is very unlikely Fauci will get more than a slap on the wrist for this. But in the process his reputation is being destroyed.

In many ways, for a man as vain as Fauci that is worse. But I want to see the book thrown at him as I always want to see that happen. It is not schadenfreude; it is not even seeking justice. It is to guarantee nobody tries this stupid human trick again.

The law is not about justice, and it is not about vengeance. It's about discouraging people from doing bad things. The argument made against the death penalty is always "an enlightened society should not seek vengeance" but it's not vengeance we seek, nor is it punishment as the prisoner certainly isn't going to modify his behavior after execution of sentence. Yes, justice is there to a degree, but mostly it is to make an example of him. Fear of old sparky has often been a deterrent to capital crimes.

We need to make an example of Fauci so others don't think they can get away with what he pulled. We won't be able to do a good job of it but at least we should make him pay as much as possible AS PUBLICLY AS POSSIBLE. His dying a broken old man won't serve society that well. His being a broken old man with everyone watching and thinking he got what he deserved will.

It's tough but nobody ever said crime and punishment should be easy. We take no pleasure (or should take little, anyway) at punishing evildoers but it has to be done and it has to be done right to make the point. Crimes are public affairs - punishments need to be likewise.

As a society we've grown too squeamish. There was a time when criminals were publicly hanged. The town would have a party and celebrate too. It's what tamed the Old West; had we not done that the West would still be wild, with outlaws and gunfighters and women of the night in every saloon.

At any rate Fauci cared more for being the Great Man than he did for his freedom. Pride goeth before a fall.

I fear Anthony Fauci's fall will be great indeed.

Pope Leo "Too Much Consoooomin' Goin' On!"

Timothy Birdnow

Anyone remember Democrat Richard "Fritz" Hollings? "Too much consooooomin goin' on!"

Jesus condemned his Apostles for complaining when Mary Magdalen anointed Jesus with expensive oils. Their complaint was it was a waste of money, that the money should go to the poor. Jesus said "the poor you shall always have with you" but He wasn't going to be around that long.

Jesus was telling us it's o.k. to buy stuff and give ourselves the occasional treat as long as we remember our obligations to others.

Jesus did not have the Marxist mentality. He did not think life should be glum and austere.

The Pope was correct, however, to caution people about AI and suggest we use it sparingly, and not as replacement for prayer and for God. Right he is on THAT score!

But just the fact he linked that - and it IS a very disturbing development (read the Book of Revelation 13:15 "The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.". Sounds like an AI system to me.) But how on God's green Earth does AI relate to "consumerism"? It relates to hubris, to the First Commandment, to a number of things, but consumerism isn't one of them and in fact consumerism is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible - except where the money changers were cheating pilgrims to the Temple and Jesus took a bullwhip to them.

Online sure. A lot of people buy stuff online. And a lot of people buy more than they really need.

Once again Pope Leo shows his intellect is a pint short of a quart.

He is right; we need to pray more. The only way the Catholic Church will get people to do that is to stop offering a content-free religion with DEI but get back to basics and teach about Heaven and Hell again. People need to fear the Lord, and to fear eternal damnation. Now the Church refuses to discuss either and people assume they are going to Heaven no matter how they live or what they do. So many are going to be horrified when they die. And so many of the shepherds from the Church are going to be right there with them because they put friendship with the world above obedience to God.

Is the U.S. Running Out of Weapons?

Timothy Birdnow

Donald Trump has denied the U.S. is suffering from a shortage of ballistic missiles and at the same time threatened leakers with "long jail times".

From CNN:

The US military has exhausted nearly 80% of its interceptors for a key missile defense system as senior US military commanders are warning that the Pentagon's munitions stockpile is "dangerously low," according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. https://t.co/Nh4zoWehke pic.twitter.com/p6NQ1IBJY0

— CNN (@CNN) August 4, 2026

I suspect this isn't the case but that Trump is doing what Sun Tzu admonished; hiding his real strength to draw Iran out in the open. Naturally he would deny it and at the same time threaten "leakers"; it makes it appear true. There is a great tactical advantage in making Iran think they are in the driver's seat right now.

But frankly if the U.S. is running out of ammunition how much more so is Iran?

I have no knowledge of our tactical position here but it's my gut feeling. Even though we suffered four years of Biden and before Trump I eight years of Obama, and both those chowderheads depleted our defensive stockpile, we still had Trump I and now Trump II and I do not believe we could not maintain a six month war with Iran.

I may be wrong but I think Trump has been playing for time all along until he gets his ducks in a row.

Here is one analysis arguing this is not true at all. Here is the reasoning:

Advanced stand-off weapons are typically used most heavily during the opening stages of a war.

They allow aircraft to strike high-value or time-sensitive targets from long distances, including command and control nodes, radar installations, missile sites and airfields, before air superiority has been established.

They are also often used to crater runways, destroy air defence systems and disrupt an opponent’s ability to operate aircraft effectively.

Once air superiority is achieved and time-sensitive targets become less common, the need for expensive stand-off weapons declines.

At that stage, air forces can shift increasingly toward lower-cost precision-guided bombs such as JDAMs. These kits convert conventional unguided bombs into GPS-guided precision munitions.

This author rightly points out that Iranian attacks have largely dried up in frequency because Iran is the one running out of stuff, and so we do not need to keep firing all of our best weapons. It's rather like a course of steroids; you start out high but drop as you go.

By allowing the media to report we are running out of weaponry we draw Iran into launching more attacks, exposing their launch sites and burning through more missiles and drones.

That at least is what I believe is happening. Again, I may be wrong.

This isn't Russia - a Third World country with First World weapons - and Ukraine - a Third World country with Second World weapons. It's a Third World country with Second World weapons at war with a true First World superpower. This is like the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Mizzou Tigers in football.

A comic Interlude

Timothy Birdnow

I have to admit, occasionally you find someone with a good sense of humor.

I have been inundated with calls from telemarketers of late (even though my phone is on the no-call list) and I've grown tired with just dumping them curtly, or yelling at them, so I decided to try a new trick.

I received a call from a telemarketer from AT&T (with whom I do no business) and told the man "I have something I could sell you. It's a musical condom. It plays music when you get going. And the best part is it's washable so you don't have to throw them away each time you use it! How many should I put you down for?"

He replied "Oh, you use those two!"

I laughed and hung up. I hate telemarketers but this guy at least put a smile on my face.

Shrinkage

Timothy Birdnow

I always said exercise is bad for you...

From the New York Post article:
'
"Many men experience some degree of temporary retraction while working out, but the amount varies dramatically,” Bustamante said. "Some barely notice it. Others may feel like they are turtling, where the penis retracts closer to the body.”

So if a fellow wants to avoid shrinkage he would be wise to avoid heavy exercise.

S-F Museum Restores Mask Mandate

Timothy Birdnow

The Exploratorium, a museum in San Francisco, is going to force people back into Covid-era masks for no reason except they think it is a good idea.

The claim is that Covid is rising in the Bay area. But if they are afraid of the transmission of viruses (viri?) maybe they should require visitors to the museum to wear condoms too. S-F is lousy with venereal dseases, especially AIDS.

They claim they are listening to their visitors, but how many of them are immunocompromised, even in San Francisco? I rather doubt most of those infected with HIV are regular visitors to a place called the Exploratorium; that sounds like a kids museum to me.

What is happening here is the leftists just don't want the Covid rules to go away because they want to get the public used to following them. This will do nothing whatsoever to stop the spread of Covid or much else, and a museum of science (which this purports to be) should know that masking has been shown to be useless. It's not about public health; it's about indoctrination. Get groups of children used to being forced into masks (they already were during the pandemic) and used to obeying rules, no matter how crazy. It's the slowly boiling frog.

Hopefully the public will simply refuse to go to this museum. Falling attendance may get the board to remove whatever blue-haired liberal woman is running the show here.

Paxton Rising

Timothy Birdnow

Ken Paxton is rasing huge amounts of money despite predictions he would fizzle and while he's behind slightly in the polls (and polls almost always favor Democrats, especially this far out) he appears to be surging at the right time. His opponent - the crazy Marxis who claims to be a Christian James "God is not binary" Talarico -has a vast nest egg, mostly given to him from outstate sources - but the momentum appears to be waning for him,

Paxton brought in $9.2 million in Q2. Even though the Republican National Committee is giving him absolutely no money at all he's still crushing it.

And the people who financially supported John Cornyn - guys like the Perot family - have refused to contribute to Paxton. Cornyn was a whore and this proves it.

Oxford Common

Timothy Birdnow

Newly released documents confirmed what we all knew all along; the Russian collusion hoax was an FBI plot to destroy Donald Trump's Presidency.

Even as this was falling apart, after Trump fired James Comey, the FBI opened an investigation "Oxford Comma" to investigate charging the President with obstruction of justice. (I've read several stories on this and sometimes it is spelled Oxferd Comma and I am unsure which is correct so I'm going with Oxford as that is the proper way to spell it when using this phrase.)

This was, of course, to paralyze Trump and whittle power away from the Republicans and it worked to a fair degree. When it had run it's course they launched the Covid issue, which should have been treated like a flu at worst, but the got the public into a panic and that saw Mr. Trump removed from office.

The Democrats will stop at nothing to seize power.

Best we remember this coming into the autumn as an October Surprise seems immanent to me.

BTW did you notice the name of the operation against Mr. Trump? Why would they name it "Oxford Comma"? That suggests to me British intelligence was involved with it.

An Oxford Comma, sometimes called a Harvard Comma, is used when there is a list of things - like paint, brushes, and ladders. It's called that because Oxford Press promotes it's usage in things they publish.

The Gulag Autpeninsula

Timothy Birdnow

President Autopen and his CDC plotted to create "unvaccinated camps" and were going to force Americans into them.

Just like Nazis did to Jews and Catholics and Gypsies and homosexuals.

They were actually doing this in Australia, by the way. I know a woman who was an American living Down Under and she came home because of the way Covid was handled there (well, she also divorced her husband who was an Aussie). She said it was really bad.

So it turns out there were plans to round up and imprison any Americans who refused to obey the New World Order.

American Civil WAR

Timothy Birdnow

What would an American civil war look like? This article at American Thinker takes a gander at it.

I would argue we are already in one, just without much in the way of killing as of yet.

The author is right; it will be urban v. rural, white v. Hispanic and black, Christian v. atheist/pagan/ Muslim. The coasts v. middle America.

But we must ask who is going to win?

By all objective metrics it should be middle America. We have all the farmland. We have the oil production. We have the control of interstate commerce. They have all the academics but we have the doers, the people who actually accomplish things. We control the flow of water. We control a lot of the electricity.

When I was in college I took a couple of courses in Chinese history (my emphasis was on Russian, but it seemed a good idea to know a little something about China as they were still Communists) and one of the things the conservative professor taught was that during the Second World War Chiang Kai Shek and the Kuomintang retreated to the cities where they could defend themselves from the Japanese. The Communists under Mao knew they would be toast if they went with Shek into the cities so they stayed in the countryside and waged a guerilla war against Japan. Guess what? When the war was over the Communists owned the countryside and it only took four years for them to starve out the Nationlists completely. The cities had the people and even the manufacturing but the food and water were all in the country.

That is pretty much how this will shake out. Maybe.

Maybe because power alone does not determine such things. The Left is energized, animated, always believing they have history on their side and it is inevitable they will win. It is much like the Israelites knowing they would conquer Canaan because Yahweh was on their side; Leftism is indeed a religious belief and the young leftists, full of enthusiasm and a mystical belief that "justice" is attainable by getting rid of the things that came before, will fight with all their might. We see that now with these ICE encounters; these people are risking their lives to stop us from enforcing the law, a law supported by most Americans and one that is quite mild in it's application. (We aren't starving detainees or beating or raping them or making them work with no pay - my personal favorite as it's the only way to make the point to everyone that if you invade America and get caught you will not only get kicked out but be forced to work for no pay for a time.) Many countries have lengthy prison sentences for a first offense, unlike the U.S.

So the Left will have the young and their zeast.

They will also have the media and that means they can peddle all the propaganda they like. Organizing on the Right will be much harder. And that means getting the people in the middle will be much harder.

They also own education, all of it.

They have all the good ports so it will be tough to get goods and materials in to middle America. We own the railroads and will own the trucking, but what value is there in controlling the means of transport if there is nothing to transport?

In the end we can and should win a civil war. But oftentimes the more disciplined and enthusiastic win where the better positioned lose. Just ask King Louis. Or Czar Nicholas.

The Book of Revelations says that the Messiah will "destroy them with the sword of His mouth and the brightness of His coming". In other words when Jesus returns He won't fight a physical war so much as simply speak Truth and His enemies will wither. It is far better to win by what you say than by simple force.

That's the way the Left works.

Mullin Wants More Aliens

Timothy Birdnow

Meghan Marklewayne Mullin is turning coat on immigration and most Conservatives in Washington (and outside) have about had it with his pro-immigration stance.

Mullin has been saying we need more immigrants to do "the jobs American just won't do". He still supports evicting criminals - thank goodness for that. But he thinks it's just fine for people to invade our sovereignty, trespass, break our laws, steal our social services and jobs and dwellings, because, like, we need more workers.

Trump needs to think about firing this clown.
