A comic Interlude

I have to admit, occasionally you find someone with a good sense of humor.
I have been inundated with calls from telemarketers of late (even though my phone is on the no-call list) and I've grown tired with just dumping them curtly, or yelling at them, so I decided to try a new trick.
I received a call from a telemarketer from AT&T (with whom I do no business) and told the man "I have something I could sell you. It's a musical condom. It plays music when you get going. And the best part is it's washable so you don't have to throw them away each time you use it! How many should I put you down for?"
He replied "Oh, you use those two!"
I laughed and hung up. I hate telemarketers but this guy at least put a smile on my face.

Well, he wasn't gonna let you get the best of him on that call. Ya gotta give him an E for effort. I hope you were both laughing when you hung up.

I was but I wasn't going to waste any more time. I've been getting calls, eight, ten a day. My phone is registered with both the state and federal no call list. I tell these people that and they don't care at all. I reported them but they always use different phone numbers (they have some algorithm that allows them to generate a different number so you can't just block them.)
