Conflict of Interest
Timothy Birdnow
Check this; the judge who ordered the release of the church invaders in Minnesota (a Bush appointee, I might add) is a huge donor to organizations trying to promote the illegal invasion of America.
Hugo Tobay Robles has been outed by Fox News' Bill Melugin:
Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_
NEW:
@FoxNews
has learned that Patrick J. Schiltz, the Minnesota federal judge who is threatening to hold ICE Director Todd Lyons in contempt of court & is ordering him to appear in court on Friday, appears in a 2019 list of donors & volunteers for the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, an organization that provides free legal advice and representation for illegal immigrants. Judge Schiltz was appointed by President Bush in 2006.

I'm thinking that when you get an obstructionist judge who gives an order such as this one, there should be another judge who comes along and gives an order countermanding it -- saying in effect "Oh, no you don't!"
For every Bozoberg there should be an equal and opposite Bozoberg.

Leftist Calls for Nuremberg Trials for Ice, Witch Hunts for Sport
Timothy Birdnow
Well, liberals had been calling for Nuremberg trials for "climate change deniers" so why not call for Nuremberg trials for ICE?
The thing is this is a double-edged sword and can be applied against clowns like this as well as against our side. We can have such trials of the people fomenting violence and revolution too.
The first thing the Left does after taking power is hold show trials and wipe out the opposition. Stalin did it, Lenin did it.
Anyway this guy is named Scott Galloway and he's a professor of Marketing at the NYU School of Business. He was on a podcast with a leftie named Kara Swisher. Swisher and swallows nodded enthusiastically in agreement.
Galloway was elected to the World Economic Forum's "Leaders for Tomorrow" in 1999, so you can see where he's coming from. He's also a host for CNN+ streaming.
Oh, did I mention he went to UC Los Angeles and is an atheist?
The nutty professor said:
"I think there should be something equivalent to the Nuremberg Trials once this is all over... to make it clear: once we’re back in power — which we will be — this is going to happen. And the statute of limitations on murder is never.”
Don't write checks you can't cash sir. If you try this then maybe we'll hold our own protests in the same way that you held these, and see how you manage. The public isn't going to stand for show trials, not now anyway.
This is more proof that the Left is tyrannical in nature, the true fascists. They say they will fight "fascism" by being Bolsheviks. Wonderful.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner promised an anti-ICE rally to pursue the agents carrying out lawful orders in a lawful manner as war criminals. This is not in any way befitting the chief law enforcer in Pennsylvania or any other state; it is weaponizing the office and making such threats demands this guy's immediate removal.
These creeps never consider there is a judge who will set things right in the end and that their abuses of others simply for daring to disagree with them is not escaping His eye. These people are inciting violence and will have to answer for that some day.
The left is going insane, more than it already had been. That's because they thought they had the whole game won and learned they didn't and that America really doesn't believe what they do. Both of these men know the arguments from the other side and know they are defending people who have committed crimes, many of them quite heinous, including pedophilia, sex trafficking and rape as well as dealing deadly drugs like fentanyl. But they don't care because all they concern themselves with is the acquisition of power and the creation of their dream socialist utopia. In the case of the professor he's made millions from capitalism while he's pushing an agenda to strip others of that right.
But then this is their religion. I hope they enjoy the end result; it's not going to turn out as they think.

CBS Paints a Pretti Picture
Timothy Birdnow
What does that tell us class?
One agent may become skittish and fire in panic, but two? Doubtful. And remember the agent who fired was in fact an eight year veteran, not a poorly trained rookie.
These agents believed they were in immanent peril.
Here is something else interesting:
"The [CBP officer] pushed them both away and one of the females ran to a male, later identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a US citizen," the report said. "The [CBP officer] attempted to move the woman and Pretti out of the roadway. The woman and Pretti did not move. The [CBP officer] deployed his oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray towards both Pretti and the woman."
CBP agents then "attempted to take Pretti into custody," according to the report.
"Pretti resisted CBP personnel's efforts and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a BPA yelled, 'He's got a gun!' multiple times," the report said.
"Approximately five seconds later, a [Border Patrol agent] discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a [CBP officer] also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti. After the shooting, a BPA advised he had possession of Pretti's firearm," CBP added. "The BPA subsequently cleared and secured Pretti's firearm in his vehicle."
The new information provided by CBP differs from the initial accounts offered by the Department of Homeland Security, which said in a statement over the weekend that one Border Patrol agent had fired "defensive shots."
In that statement, DHS also said Pretti "approached" the CBP agents with a 9mm semi-automatic firearm. But CBP's report to Congress makes no claim that Pretti tried to reach for his firearm
Notice that FIVE SECONDS LATER the Border Patrol Agent came up with the gun, not before the shooting. That is critical; it means there was a live firearm in the possession of the struggling Pretti when he was shot.
This article tries very hard to divert your attention from that fact by discussing the claim the report does not mention Pretti pointing the gun but the very fact he was struggling and had the gun is ebough to satisfy the law that this was a justified shooting by the Border Patrol. (CBS News is using the magician's trick of misdirection in this article to make it appear the agents did something wrong. If you are armed and struggling with law enforcement it is assumed BY LAW that you are guilty and pose a danger, but See B.S. doesn't want you to know that.)
The article also lies by omission:
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara has said Pretti was a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.
This is a subtle lie but a lie nonetheless. Yes, Pretti had a concealed carry permit (I assume; haven't actually been able to verify that) but so what? He is required BY MINNESOTA LAW to have that permit on his person while carrying, and he did not do so. Also, there are strict protocols he is supposed to follow in an interaction with law enforcement. He neglected to do so.
Also he was carrying two clips, enough to kill a lot of people.
Then there is this:
It also revealed that U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel removed and stored Pretti's firearm in a government vehicle, a decision now raising broader concerns about the integrity of the investigation.
According to a CBP report sent to congressional officials, a Border Patrol agent reported taking possession of Pretti's gun immediately after the shooting and later clearing and securing the firearm inside a vehicle. The report does not specify whether the weapon was photographed in place or logged with a documented chain of custody at the scene.
CBS News previously reported that federal investigators have no documented chain of custody for Pretti's handgun, with officials saying the firearm was placed on the seat of a vehicle rather than sealed in a required plastic evidence bag and labeled with standard identifying details such as date, item description, and handler name.
I suppose they were supposed to stop life-saving efforts on Pretti while they tagged and bagged the gun on the scene, a chaotic scene?
The fact is CBS news has no way of knowing whether this is true or not; they are simply making allegations here. They know there is now way to verify this claim.
CBS is trying to gin up rage, to make this look like the Boston Massacre that, well, didn't start the Revolutionary War but certainly added to the anger that led to it. And they are lying.
As far as I can tell these agents acted lawfully and made the best decision they could in a life-or-death situation that required a split second to make. It is only an issue because so many want it to be. Had the Minneapolis police been present they could have dealt with Pretti and the woman he was helping to violate the agent's lawful orders when he was shot, but the Governor and the police chief issued stand down orders. If any authority is to blame it's Walz. Pretti's blood is on HIS hands, not on the hands of the agents involved.

Dem. AG Candidate Calls for Execution of Trump; not an Outlier but a Bellwether
Timothy Birdnow
Leftists seem to be buffoons until they acquire power then they start executing people. We should take this guy at his word.
This is exactly what the Left intends to do to us - murder us to shut our mouths and punish their enemies. This is what communists always do in the end.
Don't just laugh this off as hyperbole; these people are serious about doing this. And we let them get so close to the levers of power that now they are about to go full Bolshevik.
From the Western Journal article:
Democrat Elliot Forhan, a candidate for Ohio attorney general, shredded his nonexistent credibility by vowing to "kill Donald Trump” in a chilling campaign video released Tuesday.
While Forhan tried to soften his death threat with frivolous legalese, his violent, treasonous intent was clear.
The former Ohio state representative’s assassination pledge ignited a social-media frenzy, with numerous people demanding his arrest.
This MAY mean the end of his campaign but it's a tip of a large iceberg. It is just a matter of his saying the quiet part out loud; a lot of his fellow Democrats would be willing to implement his program.
The Secret Service should investigate this guy; making threats against the President MUST be taken seriously - especially when coming from a political rival.
After eight years of Obama and four of Biden and the first Trump Administration being paralyzed by endless lies and investigations and Covid the leftists thought they had won, that it was just a mop-up operation at this point. Trump's election horrified them and now they are showing their true face. They know that this is for all the marbles.
And they weren't wrong; the GOP had no stomach for stopping them before Trump and likely will have none again once Mr. Trump is out. America was well on it's way to being a soviet republic. We just kept the rhetoric and facade of a free nation but they had systematically taken control over all of our institutions, including the most American of them - the Boy Scouts, the churches, the military and military organizations, etc. They had every reason to believe they had won. And they would have won had any other person won the Presidency in 2016 and in 2024. The hiatus during Biden's Presidency only illustrated the corruption and the invisible hand became quite visible. That was because the Demo-left were desperate to nail down their communist utopia before America could rebel and so Biden's Autopen went way too far too quickly and the public rebelled. But of course they still own the media and too many Americans don't understand the true nature of this, but rather think in terms of how things effect them only. They get mad at inflation but don't worry about WHY we have inflation. They wanted fewer aliens in the country but are easily convinced that enforcement efforts is somehow Gestapo tactics. They want cheaper housing but don't want to end the subsidies and other things that drive up the prices. Basically Americans are lazy and don't want to know how the sausage is made. They are easily tricked, as the souring of Americans on ICE after this shooting proves.
So now we have a candidate for Attorney General in a traditionally Republican state calling for the murder of the President under the banner of Bolshevism and the few Americans who even learn about this will dismiss him as a kook when in fact he represents the base of his party. This is where this is leading - the Gulag, public show trials, public executions, assassinations, and murder and mayhem. Ask any of the people who grew up under Communism before the Soviet Union fell about it; they know how bad it will be. America is slipping into Communism as we speak and if we don't take strong action to stop it we will enjoy the fruits of it, which include extreme poverty for everyone but the ruling class, starvation, abuse of the public, both physical and psychological, lies and murders.
This guy isn't an outlier; he's a bellweather.

Fake Attack on Ilhan Omar
Timothy Birdnow
Ilhan Omar was attacked recently at a townhall meeting and sprayed with an unidentified substance. While this attack should be condemned in the strongest terms one must wonder at the veracity of the whole thing.
There are odd things about the whole event.
Video shows her appearing to nod toward the attacker just before it happened. And she did not seek ANY medical treatment, even though there was no way of knowing what the substance that was squirted on her might be. It could be a biological agent, or a poison of some sort, yet she refused medical care.
We know the Left isn't above faking attacks; just as Jussie Smollett.
Police caught the alleged attacker (and in this case we most definitely call it alleged) but are not releasing names and are saying they can't charge him (!) because he did not inflict bodily harm.
This thing stinks to high heaven.
And since Omar herself is unwilling to press charges and file a police report I assume nobody is facing charges for lying to the police. There is no crime in staging a fake attack as far as I am aware.
So we have yet another blood libel by the radicals against our side and probably nothing will come of it - but some minds may well be changed among the squishy moderates.
IF this guy was MAGA he was an utter fool, but that's why we haven't been given his name.
I would add the attack has been roundly condemned, even by people like Nancy Mace and other MAGA types. Funny how the Left wouldn't even condemn the murder of Charlie Kirk when it happened.
As the election approaches we will see more and more of this kind of fake hate blamed on Trump and MAGA. He's got to get out front on this.
I would thin the FBI can investigate this; it involves a sitting Congresswoman after all. Are you out there Kash Patel?

Shades of Jussie Smollett, wouldn't you say? Ilhan's been getting so much criticism that I think she figured she needed some sympathy for a change, and what better way than to get a guy to spray a little apple cider vinegar in her face? She's certainly got enough money to pay him to do it. Now let's see if she actually comes across with the cash...

Dem's Threaten to Impeach Noem
Timothy Birdnow
Knock yourselves out!
If the Democrats could successfully impeach her they could successfully impeach Trump himself - and would have done so before now. They don't have the numbers.
The only worry would be Republican turncoats joining them out of fear. There is no more timid a creature than a Washington Republican. They make fainting goats seem positively bold.

I'm very happy to see that Mr. Trump is being supportive of Secretary Noem at this time. Naturally, the Donkeys will try to get him to can her, and do anything else possible to weaken his support for her. He's sent Tom Homan in to help strengthen his side but he's not indicated that this indicates a lack of support for Ms. Noem. Good! Trump knows how to play the game in order to keep the Donkeys on the losing side!

Yep. Going after Noem is an old game to the Democrats. This is what they did to Richard Nixon if you remember; they went after his people one by one and each time Nixon lost one of them he became weaker. They tried to do it to Reagan too with far less effectiveness, and to the two Bush's.
As you say Trump is cut from a different cloth. He's not going to be frightened into sacking his people.

We Keep Getting Suckered
Timothy Birdnow
Alex Pretti, the man who was shot by ICE agents when he was interfering with a lawful arrest operation, had
broken a rib in a previous altercation with ICE just a couple of weeks prior.
Don't tell me this guy wasn't there to make trouble.
It's not Alex Jones or The Gateway Pundit saying this - it's CNN.
Meanwhile Citizen's Free Press posted a series of links calling for the firing of Christi Noem and other calls for retreat (where is Charlie Kirk when you need him; his staff is whimping out). Among the links is
this Wall Street Journal article calling for Trump to pull back in Minnesota - and there were 5,000 comments on the article, all critical but none critical from OUR perspective. It was a leftie fisk of the WSJ.
Now the WSJ has always wanted open borders and is not happy about kicking all these aliens out. But that's not the point I wanted to make. My point is that I posted a commebt up with ease, and that means these five thousand leftist comments are NOT coming from regulars but are probably being posted by AI. Rush Limbaugh researched that sort of thing years ago and found that computer technology was used by the Left to make it appear there were enormous upswells of popular outrage over events when in fact it was just a handful of guys (and Rush actually identified them, one was a college professor). I suspect these comments were made by AI and are designed to frighten Republicans into backing off of the enforcement policy that is trying to evict criminal illegal aliens.
The could do it because of the open message board policy of the Wall Street Journal.
Citizen's Free Press seems to have fallen for this hook, line, and sinker. I seriously doubt Charlie Kirk would have fallen for it.
This is a common practice in warfare; make your side seem much bigger than it is. Genghis Khan did it all the time, putting scarecrows on horses and parading them past the walls of a city he was besieging. George Washington used to do this when retreating from the British Army; he would have just a few men lighting fires and making noise in camp while he quietly snuck his troops away.
That is what I think is happening now with much of this, and our side is falling for it. If we lose this we lose the President and we lose America.
Our side has got to learn the way the Left operates and stop believing what the media tells us. But we keep getting suckered.

Death by Stupidity
This from Lyle Hancock
I am licensed to carry concealed in 38 states. I've gone through extensive training and qualifications. I spent hours learning to not do what this person did. When carrying, he is held to a higher standard and is required to cooperate with any law officer in a way that reassures the officer that he is not a threat.
Several years ago, I was a witness to a crime. I stayed until the investigating officer was ready to question me. As he approached, I placed my hands on my head and advised the officer that I was carrying concealed and I will follow his instructions. He said, "thank you, now put your hands down, I just have a few questions." He did not ask for me to show him my gun. He didn't seem to care. He just came over and we talked. Had Pretti made an effort to cooperate, he would still be alive.
People want to play armchair quarterback and pretend that they have greater situational awareness than the highly trained officers. They don't. In an altercation, the officers are justified to shoot him upon discovery that he is armed. The reason? If he got his arm free, it would take less than two seconds for him to pull the weapon and kill one or more officers. They can't take that chance, especially if he is still struggling with them. He's dead because he was stupid.

Mr. Hancock is right. In a situation like this you want to make yourself as harmless as possible.
If you are licensed to carry, have a gun on you, are driving and are pulled over by the cops
for any reason, your procedure should be to open your window, tell the officer who is approaching you "Officer, I have a legally-permitted pistol at my side. How do you wish me to proceed?" and let him "call the shots" from this point forward. You should be totally passive. Don't make any moves.

Dana, I assume Minnesota has required firearms training for concealed carry permit holders. I assume further that this training teaches this very thing. Am I wrong?
We don't require that here in Missouri because we don't require cc permits in the first place; you have an absolute right to carry. But you'd be nuts to NOT tell a cop before he searches you.

Fay Voshell adds:
Basically, Minnesota has seceded from the United States and is trying to justify its secession by using the courts as its imprimatur.
Other blue states will follow if Minnesota wins, and we will be further engaged in a civil war.

The Constitution Grants Trump the Power to Enforce the Law in Minnesota
Timothy Birdnow
Dana Mathewson
forwards this from Powerline. Apparently Minnesota is arguing in court (in front of a Clinton-appointed judge) that the Tenth Amendment allows them to kick ICE and other Federal Agents out of their state because, like, Federalism and junk!
This is beyond ridiculous. The Tenth Amendment (which the left ignores all the time) is only valid where the Constitution does not specify a power it is expressly granting the federal government. Control of immigration and enforcing the law are both specified as a power of the United States. They don't have a legal leg to stand on (but that never stops the Left).
The Supremacy Clause says federal law trumps state law, and the 14th amendment, which is the basis of "birthright citizenship" says in section one that a person born or NATURALIZED in the United States is a citizen. It says nothing about illegal aliens. And section five of the amendment says the federal government can make laws to facilitate that amendment as needed and they trump state laws. That means immigration laws.
And the power to regulate immigration is vested in the U.S.
The federal government's authority to regulate immigration is primarily vested in the Constitution's Naturalization Clause (Article I, Section 8) and Commerce Clause (Article I, Section 8). In fact the Democrats sued Arizona under Obama for passing a law identical to the Federal statutes and thus using state police to enforce these laws - and Obama won in court. The court agreed that immigration enforcement is a federal matter and the state can only offer assistance to the feds when requested.
This is a no-brainer; Minnesota has nary a legal leg to stand on here.
If Minnesota wins the Trump Administration should cut off ALL federal funds to the state. None of those funds are in the Constitution either. Fair is fair. Of course Walz and Ellison will sue in court to force Trump to keep the spigot flowing and will argue against the very argument they are making here. But when do we ever expect consistency from liberals?

Justified
by Vincent Thomas Ignatious
I'm trying to refrain from commenting on the ton of posts and comments on social media, as well as those from elected officials, regarding the shooting of Alex Pretti in Minnesota.
Arm chair warriors are dissecting frame by frame slowed down videos of the incident. Some are criticizing Border Patrol for their tactics, including some conservative voices. Others are calling Pretti a hero for defending a woman.
Some say he was holding a gun when he was shot. Others are saying he wasn't. So far, this is what I've seen, along with some facts.
Pretti had an open carry license. He thought it would be a good idea to bring a 9mm handgun, with extra magazines, to an organized obstruction of Federal activities, without carrying any ID. Technically, he was in criminal possession of a weapon, although he had a license to carry. That license and his State ID, must be on his person when carrying.
BP was in the process of removing and attempting to arrest a woman who was actively interfering with their lawful activists. Pretti intervened. His motives here are irrelevant. He interfered with law enforcement, then resisted when they tried to take him into custody.
So here's what happened afterward.
It appears he was disarmed by a BP agent during the scuffle. It APPEARS that BP agent yelled 'gun!' as he disarmed him. Mere seconds later, the agent holding that gun had an accidental discharge. Other agents, who did not know Pretti was relieved of his firearm, heard 'gun' and seconds later, a gunshot. They the opened fire on Pretti, who they assumed fired his weapon at them.
I'm not going to criticize tactics. It is a shit show in Minnesota precisely because of these trained agitators. But if people put emotion aside and look at the law and the justification of the use of deadly force... If what I think happened actually happened, the use of force would be justified.
So stop with the slow motion bullshit videos of a man carrying that gun as it went off, saying it was Pretti. It was not. It was the BP agent who took his gun. But legally, that's irrelevant.
Now let's get into the heart of the matter... Politics and personal responsibility.
These agitators deliberately are interfering with BP and ICE, as their Comrades record these confrontations. It is a Left wing tactic designed to force agents to act and use force, which is then recorded and disseminated for propaganda purposes.
When you have people who refuse to comply with the Law challenging Law enforcement agents who are then forced to act, often using physical force, it is never pretty. The use of force by armed police officers or federal agents never looks good.
This tactic is also used by Hamas. They force Israel to act and use their military force, as Hamas puts women and children in harm's way. These incidents are recorded, disseminated, and echoed by a willfully complicit media and social media influencers.
In other words it is pure propaganda designed to invoke emotion devoid of facts and reason. It is designed to create a false image and narrative of an out of control Federal agency and President in an election year.
Wait until you see what these people do this summer. It's 2020, repeated. It is a planned and sophisticated operation designed to give democrats the House and Senate. They will impeach and remove Trump should they win.
Welcome to the revolution.
This is why Jacob 'Cause Fray' and Tampon Tim Walz are encouraging these violent acts. Much like democrats did in 2020 when Antifa and BLM looted, murdered, burned churches, buildings, and assaulted cops.
Democrats called these rioters and murderers, "the voices of the unheard." Chris Cuomo said the protests don't have to be peaceful.
Compare all this to the treatment of the handful of knuckleheads out of a crowd of thousands who commited crimes on January 6th, as well as the many more who simply walked into the Capitol Building and were peaceful.
Arrested.
In solitary confinement.
Treated worse than Islamic terrorists at Gitmo.
You have to look at this through a political lense because the politics of the vile democrat leftist media machine is causing this.
Don't get caught up in petty nonsense about who was carrying the gun or Pettii's motives. It's far bigger than this.
It is a planned, organized revolution complete with State sanctioned and media sanctioned propaganda.

Yup. The Democrats want another "Summer of George Floyd" and one way or another, they are determined to get one. Tampon Timmy had a phone conversation with President Trump today and Trump laid down the law to him. I hope it does some good.
And I hope Trump used words with few letters in them so Walz could understand them.
But I think the only thing that's going to work is for Trump to say OK, Buddy, here comes the Insurrection Act. Because Walz, Frey and the rest of the idiots in Minnesota are going to ignore him otherwise.

Agreed. The Insurrection Act is the only option they've left Trump. And of course they hope to use that against him in the upcoming election, saying he's trying to make himself a dictator.
He's basically Lincoln II. As Fay Voshell observed, Walz has gone full Ft. Sumpter and is attempting secession via the courts, granted but secession nonetheless. If Trump has to raise an army and force Minnesota to obey the laws of the land so be it.

A Sower er Sauer Weapon
This from Bob Clasen:
About that gun that the Minneapolis protester was armed with
This appears to be a Sig Sauer P320, a modular striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It’s a popular handgun known for its customizable design, where components like the grip module, slide, and barrel can be swapped out. This particular example looks to be in a carry or full-size configuration based on the barrel length and magazine size.
Added Features and Modifications
From the visible details in the photo:
• Coyote tan grip module: This is a non-standard color option (often borrowed from military variants like the M17/M18), providing a two-tone appearance with the black slide. It’s textured for improved grip and includes a manual safety lever on the frame, which is an optional feature on P320 models for added mechanical prevention of accidental discharge.
• Threaded barrel: The barrel is extended and threaded at the muzzle, which allows for the attachment of a suppressor or other muzzle devices. This isn’t standard on base P320 models and is typically an aftermarket upgrade.
• Weapon-mounted light: Attached to the accessory rail under the frame is what looks like a Sig Sauer Foxtrot1X, a compact LED weapon light (up to 450 lumens) with rechargeable battery via the visible USB-C cable. It has mode switches for high/low output and momentary/constant on.
• Other details: The slide has front serrations for easier manipulation, and it may be optics-ready (common on modern P320s), though no red dot sight is mounted here. The extended magazine (likely 17- or 21-round capacity) is removed in the photo, and the overall setup suggests it’s configured for concealed carry or home defense with enhanced low-light capability.

Wheelchair bound ICE protester seems to temporarily have a divine intervention and is able to stand up out of his wheelchair and grab what he dropped
These are paid actors
The title comes from the last line in the movie Dr. Strangelove where Strangelove (Peter Sellers) suddenly realizes he can walk., getting out of his wheelchair in joy at the prospect of a world-ending nuclear holocaust.

More than Meets the Eye
Timothy Birdnow
The sophisticated system at work in Minneapolis and other cites to thwart ICE.
The sophistication strongly suggests state actors are involved in this. We know Mexico has a hand in it and who knows who else? The Chicoms? Russia? Denmark? Venezuela?

The Politics of Tantrum
Timothy Birdnow
The rats in the GOP are scurrying for cover:
U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D.
@SenBillCassidy
The events in Minneapolis are incredibly disturbing. The credibility of ICE and DHS are at stake. There must be a full joint federal and state investigation. We can trust the American people with the truth.
John Kasich
@JohnKasich
What’s happening in Minnesota is waking up the whole country. People don’t see justice or fairness, and doubling down isn’t going to work. It’s tearing the country apart.
Even James Comer called for law enforcement interruptus:
Mediaite
@Mediaite
GOP Congressman James Comer Suggests Trump Should Pull ICE Out of Minneapolis: 'There's a Chance of Losing More Innocent Lives'
I once compared the GOP to a herd of buffalo confronted by wolves. I saw a nature program about buffalo in a national park in Canada and the wolves would come and there would be a standoff. The buffalo would line up facing the wolves and the wolves were clearly enjoying themselves, taking it easy, waiting for the inevitable. The buffalo, bigger, stronger, and probably at least as fast as the wolves, would eventually become skittish and then one would turn and run and the rest would make a break for it. The wolves knew this was coming and then would run down several of the slower animals. The GOP behaves just like the buffalo and the Democrats like the wolves. The Republicans are such cowards they break and run at the first sign of trouble, hoping to be eaten last. They could easily crush the Democrats just as the buffalo could easily crush the wolves, but they don't think that way. They have a loser's mentality, mere prey.
As Saul Alinsky said, if you push a negative long and hard enough it will break through and become a positive. The GOP always quite just before they can win.
In the next week or so we are going to be treated to all manner of polls "showing" Americans are disgusted and want ICE out. Americans WILL be disgusted but not necessarily at ICE, but the way the polls are set up they will guarantee this result and the Republicans will dutifully fall in line. Case in point;
This Newsweak article (I meant o do that) talks about a YouGov poll:
This most recent YouGov poll was taken on January 25, 2026. A total of 3,359 U.S. adults were surveyed.
It showed that 46 percent strongly or somewhat strongly support the abolition of ICE—34 and 12 percent respectively. Twelve percent of people responded that they were unsure, and 41 percent were opposed, with 10 percent somewhat opposing, and 31 percent strongly opposing.
Eight percent of Republicans strongly supported abolishing ICE, and 11 percent somewhat supported. 73 percent of Republicans were in opposition, with 13 percent somewhat opposing and 60 percent strongly opposing.
Support was strongest among Democrats, with 76 percent supporting abolishing ICE—62 percent supporting strongly, and 14 percent somewhat supporting.
This poll follows one taken between January 9 and January 12, shortly after the killing of Good. Support has surged among Republicans by four percentage points over a period of roughly two weeks.
Question; why should Republicans listen to these polls? The next election will tell us what the public really thinks. But this is designed to dispirit the Republican voters and to suppress our side, to get us to stay home in disgust. It works too oftentimes.
We can't win with this generation of politicians in our party. We must have not just Trump but a successor who is nearly Trump's equal, and we have to see the old guard Republicans retire or die off and replace them with MAGA. Despite how good it looks now for our prospects the fact is, and these riots bear this assertion out, we are still losing and will ultimately lose if we don't do EVERYTHING exactly right. We should never have gotten into this position but we did. This is what our backing of the Bush family and the Karl Rove wing got us.
There are only two ways to end this. One is with victory and the other is with total defeat. The Left is actually getting quite desperate and this is a measure of their desperation; they know the public hates illegal immigration and wants stricter law enforcement and they are risking THAT with this move. But to them it's worth it; they might disgust enough Republican voters and frighten enough Republican representatives to get our side to retreat, to back down. If we do that the public will see the GOP is all hat and no cattle, insincere. They will stay home in November. That is the only chance the Demoleft has. So they are going to pull out all the stops, and if people die in the process, well, you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, eh?
It's the old playbook. Like Lucy with the football and our party of Charlie Browns will fall for it every time.
If the GOP does not grow a pair of Texas-sized danglies soon all will be lost.
BTW the ICE officer who shot this gun-toting clown was an eight year veteran and not some newbie. So much for "poorly trained" as the media keeps repeating.
Also, where is the concern for the people who have been murdered or raped by the illegals? I don't hear any of it. Ice isn't going after peaceful, law abiding illegals but rather against those who have committed crimes and have already been deported by law. Due process has already been served So why don't these clowns in Minnesota care about shootings in Chicago, in St. Louis, in all the major cities? They were fine with that but let a couple of people who are threatening ICE agents get killed and suddenly one life lost is too many.
What is happening in Minneapolis is what Marxists always do when fomenting revolution. It's an attempt to bully the average citizen into accepting their rule which promises order, nothing else. They break the system then offer the solution, which is giving them power. The public, worn out and sick of violence and strife, surrender to them. This is a violent version of the child who throws a temper tantrum in public until he gets what he wants. That is what Minneapolis is - a giant temper tantrum from the Left.
The only way to stop temper tantrums from children is to not reward them and to punish them. If we stop sending ICE to Minneapolis as many have suggested we reward this behavior and will get more of it elsewhere. ICE agents will never be safe again. Think about that.

Where is This Video?
Timothy Birdnow
Curiouser and curiouser....I heard about this film but it seems to have been removed from X, the supposedly now "right wing" entity. Just removed, no explanation of why:
While it may have been removed because it was a deep fake, I rather suspect that not to be the case.
In fact this can't be found ANYWHERE on the web, at least not with standard search engines. I tried Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Yahoo and couldn't find it anywhere. Odd; if nothing else there should have been some mention of it as being a fake if that was the case.
Is X falling back into bad habits? Or is there a reason it needed to be removed?
I don't know but if we had such a film it would take the whole floor out from under the rioters.
I find it interesting that we have no film of the leadup to this shooting. It's just the part where the ICE agents are swarming this guy. Oh, and I haven't seen the actual shooting; it always cuts off before that. Now why do you suppose that is?
Something very dirty is going on here.

Will Spanberger and Dems ever demonstrate moderation or rational thinking?
Paul Driessen
After four years of Republican Executive Branch rule, Democrats again control Virginia’s Executive Branch and its Senate and House of Delegates. What can Virginians expect?
Governor Abigail Spanbergercampaigned as a moderate and said
energyefficiency and affordabilitywould be central to her first legislative session. Democratic strategist Ben Tribbett expected "a measured approach” from her, instead of "radical change.” Senate Majority Leader Scott Surovell said "voters put [Democrats] in charge to focus on affordability and bring some rationality and stability” to the fore.
Republicans feared Democrats would push high-tax, big-spending, heavy-regulation policies that would reduce energy affordability, stall economic growth, hurt small businesses and families, and impair school choice, voting and safety. They worried that the energized, aggressive leftist base that helped Democrats win the 2025 elections would drive radical changes on multiple fronts.

It's an unfortunate issue in the trade; convention work makes them money but it's at best seasonal. I suppose they could get a job in the off season.
