The Coming Reign of Terror

Timothy Birdnow

Now Liberals are calling white people subhuman. I seem to remember another people who once decided some were subhuman and set about systematically eradicating the "infestation".

Social Media Users Debate If It’s Really Murder if Victim is White

yOU KNOW, when the white majority held the power they never made these kinds of arguments. But now that white America has voluntarily given more power to minorities there is talk like this being bandied about - and if the balance of power finally shifts away from white America do not think for a moment that the triumphant liberal minority won't implement a "final solution".

We are seeing this in action in South Africa right now as the ANC has grown increasingly oppressive towards the white minority there. Eventually there will be blood. I warned about this many years ago, when Apartheid was being dismantled. I remember spending the night to get tickets to see the filming of a movie about Chuck Barry which also featured Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. I just went along with some friends for kicks. It was cold, cold, cold (so cold I spent an hour or so sleeping in my car with the engine running - I was too cold to worry about co poisoning.) Some idiot liberal (pardon the redundancy) was shooting his liberal mouth off about Apartheid and how they had to end it. I told the dufus that the way they were ending it would eventually wind up with bloodshed. He really couldn't argue with me (he was actually a nice guy, if misguided) but just insisted on going forward with the turnover of power anyway. South Africa lasted much longer than I had thought it would, but it has been systematically decaying ever since and now the violence is coming. Took longer than I thought but it was inevitable; a large population of people who are at best neolithic hunters and gatherers and who were not capable of running a modern industrial society suddenly had all the power and it was inevitable they would want to punish the former rulers, even though those rulers handed over power voluntarily (well, under duress, certainly.) Whether it was anger at what the whites there had or anger at having been second class citizens or fear the whites would wind up back in charge, the Bantu peoples of South Africa would not, could not, forgive the white minority. Shoot; they don't even get along tribe to tribe, and that is among related black people. It was inevitable they would do what they are doing now. In fact I suspect we are going to witness a genocide in South Africa eventually. It will probably happen in Zimbabwe, the former Rhodesia first.

So I've been proven right about this although it took decades longer than I had thought.

The first step to genocide is to deny the humanity of your enemies. That was what the Nazis did in Germany, and that is what the Turks did with the Armenians, and that is what the Hutu's did with the Tutsis in Rwanda. And increasingly we are seeing this in the West as the humanity of the majority is being denied. Genocide will come in the end if this isn't reversed.

There are other points to ponder with this; it is impossible for any sort of friendship or fellowship with people you are unwilling to joke with, to socialize with, to kid. Friends bust on each-other in a good way. But that has become taboo in modern America, and the enforced reverence for "protected" classes has led to greater division in our society (I believe purposely so). There are walls between us and those walls are in no small part a coefficient of political correctness - people fear saying something that will bring the hammer down on them. So everyone hides, speaks comfoting lies, does not develop any sort of true camaraderie. Racial harmony is all a mask, a charade, a stage play. We build walls to guard against what we really think and feel (provided we are right wing - it's fine to show your hatred of whites if not.) We will never be friends if we cling to this societal disapproval for any careless or playful comment or thought.

The whole point of the civil rights movement was originally to give minorities greater access to mainstream society. Now it's about seizing power from whitey and punishing those who won't go quietly into that good night.

Liberals are always extolling bridges and condemning walls yet they are the king architects of walls and destroyer of bridges. They build conversational walls, with words and statements and ideas that fall outside of the Overton Window, which they are forever moving leftward to make what was perfectly acceptable a taboo. They enforce their speech codes with horrible vengeance when violated. Take, for example, the college professor who, at a conference, was on the elevator with a couple of hairy-legged women profs. He made a mild joke "2nd floor, ladies lingerie" and they nearly took his scalp off. The woman filed a sexual discrimination case against him and he had to write a formal letter of apology. I think they forgave him eventually (he was a liberal, just an older one) but he faced being completely canceled. When faced with this sort of titanic abuse for a mild transgression of their code few will say anything of any substance at all, and certainly not joke. Humor is dangerous. So society becomes like North Korea, where the mouth is something you want to staple shut lest some infraction accidentally slips out.

At the same time those who advance the narrative, and who promote the new order, can do as they please. All their anger and hatred and excess energy can be channeled into the promotion of the new order. So liberals can spout off about how whites do not deserve the protection of the law and they are not only not censured but cheered. Imagine if whites did likewise? The specter of the Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow would be trotted out and politicians would run for cover. That is even if a white person said it in the context of gangbangers, whose prime prey are other black people.

This is a very dangerous thing in our society and shows the total failure of our educational system and our churches. (Granted, the educational system in this country was founded by the radical leftist John Dewey so it can be argued it's doing exactly what it was designed to do.) And the churches? They remain silent out of fear of losing their tax exemptions. Churches are all slowly dying because they offer nothing but pap and platitudes. They never speak about anything of any consequence to society or even the individual. The priests and ministers and rabbis have a duty to God Almighty to call out what is happening but won't; Mammon is their god now.

So America and the West is circling the toilet and unless things change it will eventually go into the sewer. Trump is a momentary reprieve; a chance but only a chance. In the end it is the American People and our values that are on trial. We are losing that trial I fear. Most good Americans basically think a political realignment will save us, but that is rearranging chairs on the Titanic. This thing is going down unless we plug the gaping hole.

When a nation becomes so divided that groups are pleased wth the idea of others being killed it is close to collapse. civil wars start with that. So do genocides.

Just look at the French Reign of Terror; it started because first the different social classes splintered and the king just lost his authority because nobody was listening to him or his government anymore. The different groups hated each-other as much as they did the monarchy. Same thing in Russia. We are reaching that point throughout the whole Western world.

This is a scary time to be alive.

Judging Fruit

Timothy Birdnow

So, the Left always claims to be the ones who love their fellow Man person. Well, if that is so, why does this sort of thing keep happening?

Pro-abortion woman violently attacks pro-life reporter during recorded street interview

You have to look long and hard to find pro-life people attacking proaborts.

You judge a thing by the fruit it bears. Violence and hatred show just how rotten a tree Leftism has sprung from.

In a related story we learn just how unempathic the Left truly is.

New Research in The Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin argues conservatives are far more empathetic towards liberals who are suffering than are liberals of conservatives. The study observed 4737 participants and determined that liberals are just haters who gotta hate, hate, hate (sorry for going all Taylor Swift on you.)

I am mindful of an old poem we learned back in grammar school:

"He drew a circle that shut me out
heretic, rebel, a thing to flout"

That certainly describes the modern left. It's their way or the highway to helll tgere is no sympathy for anyone outside of their circle.

Rush Limbaugh used to say liberalism was the most gutless choice you could make; you let others tell you what you are to think while your job is merely to react and emote. Take a position that is unapproved and you will be flouted as a heretic and rebel. Your so-called "friends" will drop you like a hot potato. Of course it's even worse if you were always outside of the circle.

During the Pandmeic I got into a shouting match at the eye doctor because I was holding my disabled wife's arm to steady her. Some woman walked out of an elevator and immediately began shrieking at me about not obeying social distancing. I eventually called her a see you next tuesday, which didn't sit very well with the womenfolk around there, but she had it coming. I thought I was going to wind up in a fist fight with her; security had to come and break it up. I had a similar experience with a black dude during the Mike Brown riots in Ferguson, and at the hospital. I feared he was going to hit me in the back of the head as I walked away. My blood pressure was sky-high and the doctor wanted to check me into St. Mary's. In both cases these jackasses went out of their way to pick fights with me; I was just minding my own business in both cases. And in fact the second case (with the dude) led him to mock me for driving a junker car and being less well dressed than he (he had a nice new SUV and was wearing some expensive clothes). At one point I could see he realized his mistake; he was angry about how white America had kept his people down and here he was taking it out on someone who clearly wasn't doing as well as he! How do you play the victim and mock his car as a junker?

But self-awareness isn't a big thing with most liberals, nor is empathy. To the Left empathy is a proper social system, not a personal ethic. Much like Bill Clinton was the "most moral man in Ameria" to James Carville because he held the proper liberal positions and not because of how he behaved, the liberal always has the core beliefs - socialism, reverse racism, unrestrained sexuality, etc. - dictate who gets sympathy and why. To Carville Juanita Broderick should have just sucked up being raped by President Penis; he was "doing so much good" that she should have been honored to "put some ice on that" after Clinton got through. She didn't deserve sympathy because she was accusing Clinton; she should have accused New Gingrich, say, and then the leftists would have found all sorts of sympathy for her.

Liberalism is evil.

Fascist Britain

Timothy Birdnow

Britain is attempting to cancel the First Amendment in the United States with a draconian law that asserts every social media platform fill out an extensive "safety" survey and put in place content moderation and whatnot. American companies that are refusing to comply with this new law are being threatened by the Bolsheviks in London.

This is all being sold as a way of keeping children safe when in fact all it is intended to do is protect the political class from criticism.

What needs to happen is American tech companies should boycott the U.K. and see how the average British citizen likes it when they cannot do any business outside of their dreary little islands.

That's the problem with trying to dictate to others; it winds up biting you in the end.

What this shows though is the increase in statist and oppressive policies, that Europe and especially Britain is becoming fascist and is crushing civil rights under the jackboot heel. J.D. Vance was right when he warned Europe they were becoming the very thing they fought the Second World War to stop.

The People's Cabinet aka Shadow Government

Timothy Birdnow

So now the Democrats are creating a shadow government with a "People's cabinet" (sounds so very Bolshevik to me). I have to ask; how is this fundamentally different than the alternate slate of electors that showed up in Washington to cast votes for Trump if allowed in disputed states? Most of these alternate electors around the country have been charged with vote-tampering and other crimes, yet the Democrats can create a pseudo-government and don't expect to be bothered.

And they won't be; what they are doing is perfectly legal, just as what the alternate slate of electors did. But the hypocrisy is galling - and the fact the media won't call them out.

What will the duties of this "cabinet" be? Nothing but seeking ways to tamper with national policy and Trump exercising the duties of his office.

Ice and Water

Timothy Birdnow

Except there has been no melt trend. at least since 2006

Arctic Alarm: Thinning Ice Could Tip Global Ocean Currents Into Chaos

FTA:

"A major ocean current in the Arctic, the Beaufort Gyre, is changing rapidly due to climate warming—and this could trigger a chain reaction that disrupts the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), the system behind the Gulf Stream.

Scientists warn that melting sea ice may reach a tipping point, causing the Gyre to release massive amounts of freshwater into the North Atlantic. If that happens, the AMOC could weaken or collapse, drastically altering weather patterns across the Northern Hemisphere, especially in Europe. New model projections suggest that urgent emissions cuts are essential to avoid this dangerous shift.

Ah yes..."New Models" are telling us it's doomsday unless we get rid of our industrial civilization and dance among the posies barefoot.

Oh, and none of the melt we are seeing in the Arctic is at all unusual.

In other climate news new research shows that flooding in bygone days was considerably worse than it is now, despite a supposedly fast-rising sea level (which it isn't).

If we are melting the polar ice caps and the world is flooding why was it worse back then? Turns out that modern flooding is not at all "unprecedented" but rather just a normal thing.

Scientists Reveal What is Behind the Pop and Slosh When Opening a Swing Top Beer

While mildly interesting is this really the topic of a major research project?

I don't care so much what my beer SOUNDS like but rather what it tastes like.

On the other hand the bubble chamber, an important tool in doing research on subatomic particles, was invented by a guy who was watching bubbles rise in his glass of beer and he realized the same principle that made that happen (microparticles in the beer leading to carbon dioxide separating around them) would work in studying subatomic particles.

Either way it's a great excuse to pop a cold one. I just hope American taxpayers didn't fund this.

Rocky Mountain Highballs

Timothy Birdnow

Colorad Democrats double down on the traninsanity.

From Western Journalism:

"Both bills received preliminary approval in the Colorado House on Friday, according to a report from Colorado Newsline.

The first bill, known as House Bill 25-1309, would codify "gender-affirming health care treatments in statute” and actively prohibit "a health benefit plan from denying or limiting medically necessary gender-affirming health care.”
Advertisement - story continues below

The legislation defines "gender-affirming health care” as any approach used to handle gender dysphoria.

Another bill, known as House Bill 25-1312, would define "deadnaming and misgendering as discriminatory acts” in places of public accommodation under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.

Many supporters of transgenderism classify "deadnaming” as calling someone by the name he or she used before starting to claim identity as the opposite sex, and "misgendering” as using pronouns that align with his or her actual sex rather than using preferred pronouns.

That legislation applies the new standards to child custody cases, adding that "when making child custody decisions and determining the best interests of a child for purposes of parenting time, a court shall consider deadnaming, misgendering, or threatening to publish material related to an individual’s gender-affirming health-care services as types of coercive control.

Insurance companies should pull out of Colorado because this will cause them considerable harm.

How do you "misname" a child? Parents name their children, not the other way around. It says so on their birth certificates and a child cannot legally take action to change their own names. Sometimes parents give their kids ridiculous and embarassing names. There was a baseball player, for instance, whose last name was Mehoff. His father named him, wait for it....Jack. He went by John, naturally, but his father always insisted he named the boy Jack. And don't get me started on NASCAR racer Dick Trickle!

So these kids had to go through life with such names, at least until they grew old enough to change them legally. So why did they have to do that and not a boy who wants to be named Sue?

The state legislature in Colorado is Rocky Mountain High; I guess it's the thin up up there.

Georgia Democrats Walk Out In Support Of Taxpayer-Funded Sex Changes For Inmates

Soooo..

Americans charged British guns at Lexington and Princeton. We stood defiantly as Britain shelled the dailights out of Baltimore during the War of 1812. We fought to preserve the Union, or for the freedom of our individual states. We fought the Spanish, the Germans, and the Russians in the Cold War, all for freedom. What freedom do the Democrats fight for now? The freedom to spend other people's money to cut off the wedding tackle of mentally ill dudes in prisons. Yeah; really inspirational!

I frankly am happy to see this; they are damaging their party brand far more than anything any Republican could do to them. When your opponent is self-destructing you get out of the way and let it happen. All we need do these days is let them be who they are.

Who are they? Kooks by any definition, and the Amerian People are increasingly aware of that fact.

Mortgage Rates Down

Timothy Birdnow

30 Year Mortgage Rates Drop to 6.6%

At the end of the Biden Administration mortgages were 6.79%. We were told the Trump tariffs would drive interest rates up but they are coming down. Trump certainly hasn't cut spending, although DOGE is cutting lots of waste.

This is how economic growth works; feed one area and the whole thing gows. Strangle one area and the whole thing shrinks.

BTW in 1993 I bought my first house at 9% interest and that was a huge bargain. I hustled into the market because of the great deal! Amazing how we've gotten used to interest rates this low.

Smoking Grassley

Timothy Birdnow

What kind of devil's lettuce has Grassley been smoking?

Republican Chuck Grassley and Democrat Maria Cantwell introduce bill to reassert congressional power on tariffs

While in normal times I would advocate for this, these are not normal times. And Chuckie should understand that if the Democrats are on-board with him on this he's on the wrong side of the issue.

Grassley is usually good but he's perhaps going Joe Biden on us; he's 91 and a half years old after all. More than likely this bill came from his staffers, and probably at the behest of some damned rich donors.

The International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 granted the President these powers, although the President had long enjoyed considerable leeway when it came to tariffs. Grassley was elected to the Senate just three years later, in 1980, I might add. He was serving in the U.S. House of Representatives at the time this bill was passed, so voted on it. In fact I suspect he voted IN FAVOR of it (I may be wrong on that though) - and now wants to remove that authority from a Republican. You may remember Jimmy Carter was President in 1977.

In a sane world I would favor this, but these are desperate times. We have to give Trump his chance and if this fails he will have to bear the responsibility. Hamstringing the President only opens the door to the Democrats.

There is no historical evidence tariffs cause either inflation or economic malaise. Multiple Presidents, including some of our greatest Presidents, have used tariffs in just this same way as Trump is now - only they were quieter about it. Reagan did, for instance. Calvin Coolidge, Mr. Conservative himself, imposed some stiff tariffs on foreign countries and he ignited the Roaring Twenties. I am not saying the tariffs caused the boom, but they probably didn't hurt either as the money they brought in helped to pay off our national debt from WWI.

Critics of tariffs point to Smoot-Hawley and say "see!" but Smoot Hawley came with a very unique set of circumstances. It came in 1930, right after the stock market crash in October of '29 (SH passed in June of '30), at a time when trade was really hurting anyway. And it came on the heels of a massive spending push by The Wonder Boy Herbert Hoover (that's what Coolidge called him because he was always tinkering with the economy; Roosevel ran as an economic CONSERVATIVE against Hoover.) And it came during a huge austerity campaign by the Federal Reserve, who had contracted the money supply by 31% between 1929 and 1933. And the Feds pushed up interest rates precipitously at this same time. Smoot-Hawley was just the cherry on top of a frozen excrement sundae.

I would add Warren Harding pushed the Fordney-McCumber Act of 1922, and that came just at the end of the depression that had been ongoing (and that depression was every bit as bad as the Great Depression, except it ended much sooner because Harding and Coolidge had the good sense to let it burn itself out.) While I would not go so far as to say it was responsible for ending the depression, it certainly didn't prolongue it or make it worse.

If one looks at the economies of each period where tariffs were raised you will not see any relationship between economic activity and the tariffs. It can be argued they are bad but not immediately so. It can equally be argued they benefitted the country. Neither side can win the argument because there is no actual evidence of either. They just are what they are. But Smoot Hawley is often blamed for the Great Depression, and that is because the Keynsians who wound up in control (and have largely remained there ever since) needed a scapegoat to blame for the failures of Keynsian economic theory under Hoover and Roosevelt and every other President. Roosevelt had to be lionized as the hero who "got us out of the Deprssion" when in fact he prolongued and intensified it with his reckless spending and confiscatory taxation.

Socialists love to blame the tariffs. It hides their own failures.

Grassley ought to know that. But I suspect he bought into Milton Friedman's argument that tariffs are always bad and that free trade must be in force even if only one side follows the rules. I love Friedman and think most of what he says is golden, but he was wrong about this. Asymmetrical "free trade" is nothing but stupidity. It's like the kid at school who gives his lunch money away to make other kids like him; all he winds up with is their contempt and no lunch.

All one need do though is look at who Graassley's compatriots are here. In politics there most certainlyis guilt by association.

Luckily this won't pass, and if it does Trump will veto it.

Even Sappho Thinks This Stinks

Timothy Birdnow

Martina Navratilova - herself part of the LGBTQEIEIO alphabet of sexual deviancy - has come out strongly for the woman fencer who took a knee rather than fence with a biological male.

The testosterone-laden lesbian former tennis star had this to say:

"This is what happens when female athletes protest! Anyone here still thinks this is fair??? I am fuming… and shame on @USAFencing, shame on you for doing this. How dare you throw women under the gender bulls— bus!!!”

This was in response to Stephanie Turner's refusal to compete against tranny fencer Redmond Sullivan at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland. Turner simply took a knee and lost by forfeit and was disqualified.

The woke jokes at USAF issued this riduculous statement:

"The policy was designed to expand access to the sport of fencing and create inclusive, safe spaces. The policy is based on the principle that everyone should have the ability to participate in sports and was based upon the research available of the day,"

"Research of the day"??? What, pray tell, is THAT? They do not cite anything because in reality there is none.

And since when is anything, sports or jobs or anything, about "inclusivity"? We include and exclude in EVERYTHING in life. I suppose these fools eat foods they can't stand because it would be unfair to not eat, say, broccoli. Or they take medicines they don't need because it wouldn't be "inclusive" to just take the ones the doctor prescribed? If it is unfair to not include dudes in women's fencing, maybe we should also worry about inclusivity in other ways, like including people in wheel chairs, or who are blind. Why should THEY be discriminated against? What about the morbidly obese? Why can't a six hundred pound woman fence in the contest? She'd lose, you say? Well then we should add handicaps to make it easier for big Bertha to compete.

The confused officials continue:

"We respect the viewpoints on all sides and encourage our members to continue sharing them with us as the matter evolves. It’s important for the fencing community to engage in this dialogue, but we expect this conversation to be conducted respectfully, whether at our tournaments or in online spaces. The way to progress is by respectful discussion based in evidence,”

Not sure how respectful it is to put a girl up in what is essentially a FIGHT with a hulking big dude and then punishing her for refusing to play the charade of pretending he's a woman. And I have PLENTY of evidence; check his chromosomes, you morons! Check his genitalia. Do an x-ray for ovaries! This is perhaps the most stupid statement I have ever read.

But then this whole issue is and has been. It's never been about evidence or reason or science but about forcing Americans to comply with and pretend to believe a whopper in order to force us to be complicit with them. The Soviets did this all the time and it works; it makes people adopt whatever is told to them lest they face the kind of cancelling this poor girl is now facing.

These bolsheviks need to face some canceling of their own.

In the Shadow of Eric

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a good article about why America needs Greenland and how it is a key territory in the growing cold war between the U.S. and China.

This is in no small part an attempt by the Trump Administration to secure a close supply of rare earth metals for our technology. China has been systematically grabbing the mining operations of ree's and now control 80% of them.

It's also about oil and gas and strateigic locations in the Arctic, where China has been trying to muscle in.

Here are the bullet points from the article in Natural News:

* Greenland has emerged as a geopolitical flashpoint due to its vast rare earth mineral deposits, Arctic shipping lanes and location between North America and Europe, drawing intense U.S.-China rivalry.
* Greenland holds 25 of 34 critical minerals essential for technology and defense. China dominates global rare earth supply (80%), prompting U.S. efforts to secure mining deals, like the Tanbreez acquisition.
* Beijing’s "Polar Silk Road” and self-declared "near-Arctic state” status signal its intent to expand influence, while Russia also increases its Arctic military presence.
* Despite U.S. overtures, Greenlanders prioritize autonomy, with leaders wary of foreign interference. Prime Minister Egede called early elections amid concerns over external pressure.
* The Trump administration focuses on economic investment (mining) and security (NATO’s Pituffik Space Base) to counter China, but risks diplomatic fallout if negotiations are overly aggressive.

Getting Greenland's consent may be a bit difficult, but not TOO difficult, especially if we offer them autonomy. That is not hard; Puerto Rico is an autonomous territory of the United States, for instance. The Virgin Islands pretty much also. And we could offer every Greenlander cold, hard cash for their votes to join the U.S. as a territory. There is every reason to want to join America; money will flow in, jobs will become available, we'll build them better houses and roads and hospitals. And if we pay them, and set Greenland up like Alaska (which gives a dividend to every Alaskan from the profits from oil and gas) the Greenlanders would be foolish not to take the deal. It's a big win for everyone (except the Danish, but who cares about them?)

And of course the Chicoms will lose too, as well as the Russians.

Of course the Greenlanders may fear bringing in the U.S. because it could eventually lead to the "Green New Deal" closing up everything if the Left retakes power. I would be leery too, of the EPA showing up and telling me my fishing boat is "unsustainable" and I was going to have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to make it "eco-friendly" or "learn to code". But if we can guarantee to not meddle in their internal affairs we can probably win them over.

At any rate this is an issue that won't go away, nor should it. I am glad; Trump is looking outward, much like our forebears who looked out over the Great Plains. He still believes America will grow and expand and the future is bright, our best days ahead. It is a most refreshing change from the mopes who have run this country into the ground to "manage the decline". Trump wants to forge ahead, not polish the door knocker.

When Trump Hotels opens a resort in Greenland I'm going to book my room!
