Oops!

Nikki Grace

Ukraine claimed this attack until it was revealed it was a young couple killed and their child injured.

two sea drones damaged a portion of the Crimean Bridge killing a mother and father and leaving their young girl child gravely injured, immediately after which, RBK Ukraina reported: "The Crimean Bridge was damaged in a joint special operation conducted by Ukraine’s Security Service and naval forces”, and in quick response, top Kremlin spokesman Peskov declared: "Moscow is well aware of the insidiousness of the Kiev regime...Today, the Kiev regime killed a young family...This must be talked about so that everyone can hear it…This is all the work of the Kiev regime…We will all work and remain vigilant and focused to ensure that such tragedies do not happen again”

Hawaiian Blackout

Diane Kimura

Implementing 100% renewable energy in Hawaii is official state policy.

But can Hawaii residents afford it?

That was the question posed by Joe Kent, executive vice president of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, in a conversation earlier this month with host Howard Wiig on the "ThinkTech Hawaii” program "Code Green.”

Wiig said implementing renewable energy is essential to mitigate the effects of climate change. He said it can pay for itself within just a few years, and can be very efficient.

Kent, however, said, "We see a lot of people who have trouble just paying for their own home bills — let alone paying for the state’s bills, … so, my interest in the climate change and renewable energy question is:

What is the cost? You know, what is it actually gonna cost the average working family in Hawaii or a single person, in a state that already has the most expensive energy bills in the nation?

Tim adds:

Where will Hawaii get energy from outside of peak time? Wind only blows some of the time and solar doesn't work at night. On the main grids in the U.S. electricity can be purchased from other areas, making it, well, not exactly efficient, but it's possible to overcome the deficits when they happen. But Hawaii? How do you feed the beast when you only have the energy on the islands? You can't just restart a coal or oil fired plant. They have to be already working. I guess Hawaii will just have to do without when the "renewables" aren't producing.

Blind Auditions in the Left's Croshairs

John Lees

(John is from across the pond in the U.K.)

I've just been made aware of the issue of racism in selection of musicians for orchestras and how "blind auditions" were alleged to aid minority applicants.
So, I looked into this topic briefly. To my surprise I found numerous articles from leftist outlets calling for an end to blind auditions.
So what is going on? Apparently in the U.S. blind auditions became common from 1969. And this has certainly helped to reassure people that there is reduced bias in favour of an old boy's network of white men.
However, it turns out that blind auditions did not result in a vast increase in the number of successful entrants from black and latino back-grounds, as was initially hoped.
So, there are people on the left calling for an end to blind auditions.
It seems that they want for it to be possible to see that an applicant is minority and to hire them specifically for that reason. Even if the individual ain't so good at playing their instrument!!!
This is from the New York Times!!!

The Climate Lie

Michael Sherry

Dr. John F. Clauser, joint recipient of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics;

"The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.

"Misguided climate science … the pseudoscience has been promoted and extended by similarly misguided, politicians, journalists, government agencies, & environmentalis ts.”

"In my opinion, there is no real climate crisis. There is, however, a very real problem with providing a decent standard of living to the world’s expanding population, especially given an associated energy crisis. The latter is being unnecessarily exacerbated by what, in my opinion, is incorrect climate science"

Tim adds:

How many other top guys have said this or something similar? Certainly Freeman Dyson thought climate change was hockum. So too do many others https://www.businessinsider.com/the-ten-most-important-climate-change-skeptics-2009-7 and https://www.aei.org/carpe-diem/there-is-no-climate-emergency-say-500-experts-in-letter-to-the-united-nations/ and here is a link which provides a link to Electroverse and a list of scientists who disagree with the "consensus". This list USED to be on Wikipedia but they pulled it and Google won't link to it. https://www.reddit.com/r/collapse/comments/agbl4a/the_list_scientists_who_publicly_disagree_with/ Also, here is a link to the Oregon Petition where 30,000 scientists signed in solidarity with "denier" science. Consensus? Never was any, but the lying media and big tech have desperately tried to make it appear so. Especially Google and Facebook.

The Self-Cleaning Atmosphere

Carlos Velazquez

This seems important but I'm not qualified to judge how significant, or not, it may be.

"The discovery is outlined in a new paper published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, which suggests that the traditional thinking around the formation of OH in the atmosphere is incomplete. Until now, it was thought that sunlight was the primary driver of OH formation, but this new research shows that OH can be created spontaneously by the special conditions on the surface of water droplets. "You need OH to oxidize hydrocarbons, otherwise they would build up in the atmosphere indefinitely,” said Sergey Nizkorodov, a University of California, Irvine professor of chemistry, who was part of the research team. The Profit Motive of Capitalism

Chester McAteer

Apparently a great number of people in this country don't understand that the Profit Motive is exactly why our people experience a much higher quality of life than most of the countries around the world. Profit has been vilified in the minds of many due primarily to the Leftist ideology that permeates the minds of many.

The Profit Motive Is precisely why technological and medical development advanced so greatly in this country rather than in every other country in the world. When the Profit Motive compels one producer to raise prices then it’s the same Profit Motive that compels a competing producer to reduce prices in their own self-interest to gain an increase in the overall market share.

It is the Profit Motive that allows our people to have a multitude of food sources rather than starvation. We have the opportunity to enjoy luxuries, a large selection of homes, vehicles, products like appliances, energy, clothing, electronics and a myriad of other products and services.

The Profit Motive allows for abundance rather than want. It allows for access to cheap, reliable, plentiful, life-saving fuel and energy sources that bring us the conveniences to make our lives so much easier without the toil of past generations.

In many countries, the Profit Motive was banned, like in Communist Red China where starvation killed upwards of 45 million innocent people due to the ideology of Leftism. The only thing that changed the situation in China was when the CCP allowed farmers to profit from their labors.

Leftism comes in various degrees, but no matter the degree it causes economic distortions, harming the very people it always claims to want to help. Imagine the possibilities of an actual Free Market and if it were allowed to function in this Country and the World. Logic dictates, therefore, if the markets were once again free to actually operate, the general wealth of this country and its people would be greatly enhanced and poverty essentially eliminated due to a greater scope of available opportunities.

You want to see prosperity and a drastic reduction in poverty, unleash the actual Free Market from the claws of government overreach.

Tim adds:

Exactly right Chet. I remember an episode of All in the Family where they were trying to mock captialism. Archie said "what's the point of working hard all your life if you are going to end up equal" and we were supposed to laugh at that (because Archie sounded crazy when he said it.) But that is actually the reality of this world and economics; nobody works for someone else.

I would add that the Pilgrims experimented with socialism and starved - until they allowed the colonists their own plots of land. After they privatized the harvest boomed and they wound up having surplus food.

Time after time we see that; free markets make wealth and surplus to feed the poor. Controlled markets aka socialism leads to scarcity and bad quality.

\And as we move out of a free market we see that here in our own economic system. People aren't working these days in America and our variety of goods and services are down - and the prices are way up. That's because government has made it more attractive to stay home and enjoy time off than go bust your hump at a job. So businesses are now struggling to find workers, and services are suffering. It all goes back to the "social safety net" they employed during the pandemic. It's now a hammock and too many Americans are enjoying the lazy siesta days.

NASA'S New Green Transports

Timothy Birdnow

NASA is purchasing a bunch of "environmentally friendly" vehicles to move Artemis astronauts from crew quarters to their launch site.

The vehicles have been customized to meet NASA’s specific requirements for the Artemis missions and also pay tribute to the history of the agency’s human spaceflight and space exploration initiatives. From the interior and exterior markings to the color and wheel wells of the vehicles, all aspects of the design were determined by a creative team that included the Artemis launch director and representatives from NASA’s Astronaut Office based at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. This team provided insight from the concept stage all the way through production. Canoo was contracted in April 2022 to manufacture the vehicles.

Of course NASA will dump 60-72 tons of CO2 per passenger into the atmosphere when these astronauts are launched, plus extra for the payload. But by golly they aren't going to emit anything when moving the astronauts to the launch site!

Does anyone else wonder at this flagrant waste of taxpayer money? They could just buy a step van from a used car dealer.

Actually, they already have vehicles for this:

Historically, during launch operations at Kennedy for NASA’s Apollo and Space Shuttle Programs, the earlier Astrovanswere the primary means of transporting crews from the astronauts’ crew quarters in the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building to the launch pad

So why are they buying new, expensive, custom electric vehicles?

And what happens if these things catch fire as is a problem with EV's?

NASA just wastes taxpayer money. It's a government operation and acts as if it has unlimited resources. This is all money being taken out of the project to satisfy the Global Warming kooks and the Woke people who wouldn't support going to the Moon anyway.

Vocal Hypocrisy and Mental Siliness

Maurizio Morabito

Alongside believing the news, to be a follower of vocal hypocrites is a sign of mental silliness.

The Just Stop Oil campaigners continue to travel extensively, despite advocating against excessive CO2 emissions. Wealthy individuals, who often lecture about the need to reduce our carbon footprint, have yet to part ways with their private jets and luxury yachts. Similarly, it appears that King Charles has not downsized to a more modest living arrangement. Former President Obama has yet to sell his seaside property, despite his concerns about climate change and rising sea levels

Hgh-profile politicians like Boris Johnson and his accusers, along with other proponents of lockdown measures, kept meeting in person, seemingly disregarding the guidelines they themselves had set. Even the London Metropolitan Police, while urging people to maintain a safe distance from others, have been photographed closely interacting and smiling amongst themselves.

Although some businesses were required to close during the pandemic, restaurants remained open with the simple condition that patrons had to be seated, raising questions about the efficacy of such measures in preventing the spread of the virus. The inconsistent enforcement of mask-wearing also raises concerns, as it seemed that hazmat-level protection was not deemed necessary for everyone.

Notably, none of the celebrities and commentators who fervently opposed Brexit have chosen to leave Britain as they predicted.

Lastly, the perception of Trump as a global threat was so profound that it took 13 months into Biden's presidency to become embroiled in a war, which raises questions about the urgency and necessity of such military actions.

This litany of examples showcases the prevailing hypocrisy and inconsistencies exhibited by individuals in positions of power, influence, and public prominence.

There is no challenge to face when those who talk about it don’t behave as if the challenge existed.

They Say Hunter Biden Struggled With Drug And Sex Addiction

James Doogue

Judging by his laptop contents they were the only two things he was good at!

'Marco Polo is a nonprofit research group exposing corruption & blackmail.'

They have made available thousands of images, text messages and emails from the Hunter Biden Laptop which Joe Biden and 51 current and former senior intelligence agencies claimed was Russian Disinformation when the New York Post broke the story just before the 2020 Presidential election.

You can see the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop at this site:

BidenLaptopMedi a.com

Don't worry the pornographic pictures, of which there are many have been censored.

Joe Biden once described Hunter as the smartest guy he knows. Joe Biden also claimed he'd never discussed any of Hunter's business dealings with him. Joe Biden also claimed he was confident Hunter has done nothing wrong.

The FBI had this Laptop since 2018.They had plenty of time to corroborate the contents and indict Hunter Biden on multiple felony charges regarding drug possession, prostitution, unlawful gun ownership, fraud and corruption. Specifically acting as an agent of a foreign government without registering as one. And of course failure to declare and pay tax on the millions of dollars he received from foreign entities.

The correspondence makes it pretty clear Joe Biden's brother Jim was also heavily involved in the influence paddling so both Jim and Joe Biden should be facing corruption charges too.

The way the FBI have handled the laptop contents, demonstrates more clearly than anything we've seen, that the Washington Establishment is the dog wagging the elected officials tails, determining who gets indicted and when.

The Treatment of Trump through two Special investigations on Russian collusion, using the dossier they knew to be fake, plus the raid on the Trump family compound, and now multiple indictments about the documents Trump had, is in stark contrast to not a single charge against Hillary Clinton who had a secret private server which was hacked making multiple classified documents public. And not a single charge against President Biden despite multiple classified documents being recovered from multiple locations.

And the FBI allowed some felony charges related to Hunter Biden lapse because of the statute of limitations, and he's been allowed to submit amended tax returns disclosing the income which had been hidden, admitting to just a misdemeanor charge of failing to declare income. Meanwhile the felony gun charge won't go to court because Hunter Biden has agreed to attend some plea deal intervention course.

It doesn't get much more crooked than that. Have a trawl through some of the laptop contents. If they had something like this on the Trump family it would be headline news for weeks.

Ashes Ashes We All Fall DOWN!

Diane Kimura

The size and reach of government continues to expand faster that private businesses and the economy.

The groth of government SLOWS economic growth and prosperity.

The chart shows that there are 2,418 federal grant or subsidy programs in 2023, more than double the number in 1990.

Each new subsidy program requires higher taxes or more federal borrowing.

Each subsidy generates a bureaucracy, spawns lobby groups, and encourages more special interests to demand handouts.

The rise in size and scope of federal subsidies means that Americans are losing their independence.

State and local governments, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals that become hooked on subsidies become tools of the federal government.

They have less incentive to work and innovate, and they shy away from criticizing government policies.

May be an image of text that says '3,000 Number of Federal Subsidy Programs 2,500 2,000 2,418 2,265 2,001 1,500 1,425 1,019 1,123 1,000 1,176 500 1970 1980 1990 2000 2010 2020 2023'

Tim adds:

Indeed. Every dollar taken out of the economy by government eventually returns - but only after passing through multiople sticky fingers. It is less productive money by far. When the private sector keeps its own money it spends it directly on goods and services while government filters it through multiople layers of people who divert it's use. Everything is about saving money, protecting money, in a big government economy, not investing money or paying people or building stuff. Everything is slowed down and scaled back. Only the seats of power do well in a big government system.

The growth of the American government is strangling the United States, no question. Yet too many have a vested interest in it so it continues to grow and snatch away wealth, and steal wealth from future generations so the bureaucrats can live well and the politicians buy more votes. After a certain point it all falls apart.

The Soviet Union did. And a Soviet analyst named Igor Panarin predicted the U.S. would fall from overspending, and while it has lasted longer than he thought I still believe he's right. We are going to fall in a spectacular way.

Burisma Bribed Biden

Cindy Schumacher

From Vicki Crawford

NEW: House Oversight member, Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, has confirmed that the "unnamed" foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden with $10 million, was none other than Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky.

The now infamous FBI FD-1023 form provide by Wray had redacted Zlochevsky's name but detailed a $10 million bribe to the Bidens with someone connected to Burisma.

Putting it all together...

We know that Zlochesvsky was already paying Hunter an exorbitant sum, $83,000/mo, to sit on the board of his Ukrainian energy company.

We know Zlochevsky was facing a corruption investigation in Ukraine by prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

We know then-Vice President Joe Biden accused Shokin of corruption.

We know that then-VP Biden successfully threatened to pull a $1 billion US loan guarantee as leverage to push for Shokin’s removal.

We know Shokin was replaced by Yuriy Lutsenko, who cleared Zlochevsky and Burisma of criminal charges in 2019.

We know that Zlochevsky and his associates were eventually charged in 2020 for attempting $6 million in bribes to halt the ongoing investigation (the guy has a history of bribes).

And we know that Zlochevsky was a rich, corrupt foreign oligarch who needed the type of help only connected, corrupt DC cronyism could deliver.

And it all points to one conclusion: Joe and James and Hunter were willing to sell out American interests to keep the Ukrainian money flowing.

And now hundreds of billions of your taxpayer money is flowing back to Ukraine.

Do you understand why discovering the truth is so difficult?

Tim adds:

No wonder they hate MTG so much!  NOBODY in D.C. wanted this information released to the public.

She's pooping on their corruption parade.

Biden Flips SCOTUS the Bird on Student Debt

Timothy Birdnow

So, having been righteously spanked by the Supreme Court, Joe Biden has found himself a loophole and is going to hand out $39 BILLION  in student loan forgiveness.

He just disregarded the SCOTUS ruling.

The Court screwed up big time with their ruling, which did not declare the actions unconstitutional. Without that Biden was free to try, try again.

This is theft from America, nothing more. And to buy the votes of the whiny and greedy youths.

The GOP response should be to defund all student loans. Just defund them. But of course they won't have the courage and so this action will stand.

America is doomed unless we can find our way back to Constitutional government. Now the people in power can and do whatever they please. Any limitations placed on them are mere inconveniences, easily circumvented.

This should be one of the articles of impeachment; Biden ignored an order from the Supreme Court.

Don't hold your breath.

Suicide by Climate Denial

Timothy Birdnow

It won't matter; he'll be "disappeared" and wind up forgotten. They've done that over and over to top scientists who disagree with the Gang Green on this. Freeman Dyson, for instance. William Happer. There is a long list. Global Warming is all about social and economic control and not at all about the environment. This guy just signed his career death warrant.

Breaking: Nobel Prize-Winning Scientist Exposes ‘Climate Crisis’

Dr. John Clauser, the co-winner of the 2022 Nobel Physics prize and one the world’s leading authorities on quantum mechanics, blasted "climate emergency” claims as a "dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.”

Clauser, who was also awarded the 2010 Wolf Prize in Physics, the second most prestigious physics award after the Nobel, warns that misguided climate science is a hoax that is being driven by "massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience.”

Claims of a "climate crisis” are being promoted around the globe by governments and their media accomplice in an effort to comply with the green agenda goals of the World Economic Forum (WEF), United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other unelected globalist organizations.

Meeting these goals typically involved plans to slash the quality of life for most of the general public while ramping up taxes to "save the planet.”

Meanwhile, the handful of powerful elites promoting the green agenda will continue to fly around in private jets and eat meat because they are "part of the solution.”

There was a movie from the late sixties or early seventies starring Glen Ford called The Brotherhood of the Bell. In it a college professor who was a member of a secret society refuses to destroy his good friend for the Brotherhood and winds up persona-non-grata. His "senior" - the man he deals with at the Brotherhood - tells him "I think we'll be hearing less and less from you as time goes on". And that is exactly what happens; he loses his job, has his taxes audited, and winds up desperately trying to get the media to listen. He becomes a laughingstock.

It's kind of like that with the Climate Change business; if you have a good career in science and want to keep it you had better not deny the "emergency" or they will try to destroy you.

No younger scientist with his future ahead of him will risk it. Only well established scientists who can take the loss of a few final years are willing to do it - and they know they'll lose their reputations.

That is how this whole hoax has come to be dominant. Government  money suppresses honest debate. Governments the world over want this. It will give them a huge hand in the taxpayer pockets. It will give them enormous power. And it will create a new socialist world order, something the upper classes of the West have sought since the 19th century. It is the triumph of Fabian Socialism.

So if you say "Dr. who?" about this guy I'm not going to be surprised. We won't remember who he is in a little while.

Decline in Antarctic Sea Ice

John Lees

This year there has been a remarkable, unexpected drop in the extent of the sea ice surrounding Antarctica. It's not part of the long term trend, but came pretty much out of the blue. It can be seen from this graph that as recently as 2014 sea ice tracked way ABOVE the 1981-2010 average.
Does anyone happen to know why we are seeing this collapse in 2023?
May be an image of text that says '20.0 Antarctic Sea Ice Extent Median 1981-2010 with 10-90%iles, 25-75%iles, 1981 and max/min (1979-2022) 17.5 (n) 15.0 Tumn 12.5 Extent 10.0 lee 7.5 5.0 2.5- CCI. Tim adds:

The graph suggests it's a cyclical melting. But there may be more to it.

Undersea volcanism plays a big part of the ice pack in Antarctica. I rather suspect hat is the case. Of course the Gang Green will say it is a collapse caused by global warming, but then that is their reaction to any stimulus, great or small. If the price of butter beans rises a penny they blame Global Warming.

One year ago there was concern about a major volcanic eruption under the ice there. https://www.express.co.uk/news/science/1645540/antarctica-underground-volcano-caverns-rising-sea-levels-spt If that was belching heat for the last year it could explain the drop in sea ice. It would suggest that all the volcanoes around the continent were more active.

Government Promoting Transgenderism

Jerry S. Rainforth

The decent continues; often led by California.

"The question before the state (and the rest of the country by extension) has to do with the difficult determination of which parent is deemed more suitable when taking custody of a child. It has always been difficult to make such determinations when parents both advance claims, but California is adding a new twist to the judicial calculus of child custody. The primary thrust of the state’s new bill, AB 957, is that a parent’s willingness to approve of a minor child’s gender preference will be a factor in favor of that parent gaining custody. If one parent approves of a child’s desire to change his or her gender while the other parent does not approve, the cheerleader parent will have a statutory advantage in the judge’s eyes."

The Cause of Transgenderism

Carlos Velazquez sends this to us from Matt Walsh:

Generally speaking, what we're seeing unfold in our culture with regard to gender is the result of parents who didn't really do much in the way of shaping their kids. I don't think it's a coincidence that in a country where broken and fatherless homes are endemic, so many young men have mysteriously discovered their inner female. This is what happens in a lost society, not an enlightened one. And we are lost primarily because our families are lost, and our families are lost often because our men are not leading them well— if they are even leading at all.

Here is what any halfway decent parent knows: Boys must be taught how to become real men, just as girls must be taught how to become real women. Without any distractions or nefarious influences, perhaps boys would turn into well-adjusted men and girls into well-adjusted women purely by force of nature. But our environment does not allow for that anymore. We live in a culture intent on subverting our nature. Yes, boys are naturally inclined towards the masculine and girls towards the feminine, but many powerful forces are working to usurp the process and sow confusion into the minds of our children.

Therefore, one of our primary duties as fathers must be to show our sons what true masculinity looks and acts like. Otherwise, we know the media is more than willing to step in on our behalf, along with academia, Hollywood, their peers, and the government. We have seen what happens when these entities are allowed to be surrogate fathers to our boys. Indeed, much of what we now attribute to radical gender ideology can be explained very simply: Dad didn't do his job.

Tim adds:

Couldn't agree more. Feminism and the sexual revolution broke the families to pieces, and the culture has stepped in with their degenerate ideas. Boys learn early on that it's a woman's world; they have no strong male role models oftentimes, and they realize their mothers think men are toxic "toxic masculinity" and just plain rotten. In school the feminine virtues are much preferred over boyish ones. They feel pressure on all sides to be girls. At the same time they see that not only would everyone be happier if they were girls but they would make out in the world much better as girls. Changing is met with such approval that they internalize it and become "transgendered" "non-binary" etc. Now that it's hip and cool many kids are saying they are trans just because it meets with societal approval and they gain status among their peers that way, as well as with the authorities.BTW recently a girl sued the YWCA for allowing "trans women" in the locker rooms. The media spun the lawsuit as controversial - not the boys in dresses being in the locker room. And the YWCA said "we provide special locker accomodations for girls who object". So the deviants, the men, are allowed in and the GIRLS are the ones who have to request a special closed room! I feel like I followed Alice down the rabbit hole.

The Satanic Left

Bob Clasen

Who is behind a philosophy that want to reduce all moral considerations to a mere struggle for power? This is anti-morality, futile rebellion agains the good with nothing better to replace it with.

It is not actually rational, it is the religion of the Arch Rebel, Lucifer, who rebelled against God in total futility and found himself in Hell because he was trying to use the power and reason that was created in him against the creator of all power and rationality. What is Hell but a person who believes in nothing?

Thus the post modernists who claim to be arch rational and fighting superstition, have actually rejected reason and morality in favor of mindless rebellion and hatred against religion, family, sexual identity, patriotism, beauty. Satan smiles.

What is the vision which inspires Post Modernists? It is only that of violence and hatred and destruction and total skepticism of any morality. One observes its acolytes dressed in black, wearing masks, wielding weapons against those who seek to reason, burning down buildings, robbing stores, assaulting innocent people.

This is Satanic and nothing more.

Tim adds:

Have you ever read the short story Good Country People by Flannery O'Connor? In the story the girl who calls herself Hulga is a missionaristic nihilist who hates the "good country people" of her mother's small town. She thinks herself so much brighter than they, so sophisticated and above them. In the end she is brought down by a traveling Bible salesman who steals her wooden leg and tells her what a dope she is "you think you're so smart believing in nothing...well, I ain't believed in nothing for a long time."
