Garth Vader

Bill Weisberg

Just like the Dixie Chicks, Garth forgot who his real audience is. I am sure there are enough liberals, who have fled from NY and LA to Nashville, bringing with them their "woke" ideas, will support him.

Garth Brooks faces widespread boycott of his bar and music after making controversial statement

Tim adds:

We'll have to start calling him Garth Vader. He's lost to the Darkside now.

Once we've been betrayed by one of these icons there must be no forgiveness. Someone who will do this will betray us again if given the proper motivation.

So let's boycott him out of the business!

He had a big hit called Burning Bridges. Well, he's done that now. He needs to find his friends in Low Places because that's where he belongs.

Let him meet his destiny!

Biden at War

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Biden is calling up 3000 national guardsmen to prepare for war with Russia.

From the Daily Caller

Biden authorizedthe secretary of defense and the secretary of homeland security to activate "any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category.”

The unit groups are "not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve,” the statement added. It remains unclear whether or not Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin intends to activate the reserve troops.

This was an is inevitable. Biden wants us to get into war with Russia and he's perfectly willing to send in troops to do it. And he has to do it because Ukraine just got it's lunch handed to it.

We are going to war, folks. Let's hope the mushroom clouds slow down all the global warming!

More Atmospheric Physics

Tomer D. Tamarkin

Yesterday I posted a piece describing greenhouses and how they work by trapping heat inside a glass enclosed space.

Now I am describing what happens in the air…at 10 feet above the ground or 50,000 feet above the ground…when a trace gas carbon dioxide molecule is hit by a photon of a specific wavelength as shown in the image below.

CO2 absorbs energy in specific bands; In the atmosphere this energy comes from the sun of dual wave/ particles called photons of a wavelength shown in the chart below. That energy increases the kinetic energy of the molecule thereby generating thermal heat. But that heat is released in a matter of pico seconds. A pico second is 0.000000000001. As this happens the fundamental law of conservation of mass and energy is observed and proven. So what. That energy is many, many many orders of magnitude below one joule. And given the inverse square law of energy flux versus distance, it is 100% undetectable on the ground and therefore this whole issue is academic. This is real science. (Emphasis on REAL.) As to AGW and man produced climate change that is not academic. That is popular science fiction!! Kind of like the dog poop my dog discharged on her walk this morning.

It seems that Greta Thunberg likes to spread science fiction.

I would say poor Greta. But she is not poor. She has made a lot more money from her nonsensical non science than I have mde with my real science….

EU to Buy Millions of Doses of Covid Clot Shots

John Lees

Well, Covid may have blown over. But the Covid scam is still going strong.
It turns out that nations are now quietly junking hundreds of millions of doses of vaccine, all bought and paid for at top whack using the taxpayers hard-earned cash.
And not surprisingly now that the govt. isn't forcing people to get vaccinated by curtailing the freedoms of the unvaccinated, it turns out that almost nobody really wants the vaccine after all.
BUT - with all that as clear as day - the EU have just signed up to contracts with Pfizer to buy hundreds of millions more Covid vaccines over the next four years. So expect them to pull some pretty elaborate stunts to get people to take the things.
Yep, it's really that bad.

Germany on track to bin 200 million COVID-19 vaccine doses
politico.eu

A tale of the EU signing the EU taxpayer up to buy billions in value of US vaccines, from Pfizer, which are then trashed since as things currently stand interest in them has almost completely vanished.

If They Can Put a Man on the Moon...

Timothy Birdnow

They knew right away that Covid came from Wuhan.

You know, they know exactly who it is when mass shootings occur. They had Timothy McVie almost immediately over the Okalahoma City bombing. They knew Bin Laden was the guy responsible for 911. They can round up people who were in the crowd at J6 with ease.

They tell us they know it is human industrial emissions that are causing climate change and boldly predict the end of the planet.

They can find planets in distant star systems.

But they can't find the owners of this bag of cocaine in a building that is perhaps the most secure place on Earth, with multiple cameras and all manner of security in place. They can't tell by testing staffers of family members for coke. Why, it must have been a guy taking the WHO tour! He slipped a big bag of coke through and dumped it ina spot that keeps seeming to move, like some sort of horrible Escher painting.

I don't know about you but I have a nagging suspicion that they don't WANT to catch the owner of the coke.

Fight Brewing Over Ukraine

Nikki Grace

New York Times reporting: "A group of right-wing House Republicans pushing to load up the annual defense bill with socially conservative policies on abortion, race and gender have another demand: severe restrictions on U.S. military support for Ukraine...The pressure has set the stage for a divisive floor fight beginning on Thursday over backing for the war effort just as President Biden tries to rally European allies to support Kyiv in its conflict with Russia”

Tim adds:

So the Biden DOD loading up radical sexual and racial policies in pracice is somehow o.k. but Republicans in the House refusing to fund it isn't?

The endless gall of these people - and the media - never ceases to amaze me. THEY are the ones who politicized the military, not the GOP.

As for this endless, open-ended financial support for Ukraine, I have yet to hear a compelling argument from the Bidenauts about this war. What is OUR national interest here? How do WE define victory? What is OUR exit strategy? How do we plan to contain this to the immediate region? How do we plan to deal with the loss of Russian oil, Russian gas, Russian fertilizer, etc.? Biden and sons just want to talk about how we have to give them money! money! money! and it's somehow tied to freedom. No mention of the need for UKRAINE to reform their hopelessly corrupt government. No accountability for any of the money we are sending to them. No explanation of why they need illegal cluster bombs or Abrams tanks or any other terrible weapons. It's just an open-ended committment to continue to blow taxpayer money and sap our own national strength (we are out of munitions, for instance.)

I still see no reason whatsoever for this being OUR fight. All we have done is cause the deaths of countless people and dragged what would have been a two week war into a years-long war. The suffering and misery of both sides will radicalize the people's of both countries and we are going to rue the day.

Apocalypse Now

Nikki Grace

How can it be that Hilary's acolytes, Blinkin, Sullivan, Nuland, Kirby, et al are running our foreign policy, dragging us into world war III on the other side of the earth, committing war crimes. What country is this?

President Donald Trump warning the American peoples: "Joe Biden should not be dragging us further toward World War III by sending cluster munitions to Ukraine—he should be trying to END the war and stop the horrific death and destruction being caused by an incompetent administration. ..These unexploded cluster munitions will be killing and maiming innocent Ukrainian men, women, and children for decades to come, long after the war—we pray—has ended”.

Irish mercenary Rhys Byrne, who along with his comrades fled screaming from the battlefield when faced with a Russian tank, and in saying why he left Ukraine revealed: "The biggest problem we encountered when going into trenches was stepping over all the dead bodies that are already there from the last people who went in...It's horror, it's a genocide, it's a slaughter…There
are dead bodies laying everywhere, Russian soldiers Ukrainian soldiers dead just left there”

The Ukrainian Disaster

John Lees

The news regarding the Ukraine war is currently dire for Ukraine.
I watch material that has Russian sympathies and also material from the western mainstream. Even the western outlets are now producing explainer pieces that detail the horror of the disaster that is the much heralded and completely insane "counter-offens

ive".
See the example below released by Sky News in the last hour or so.
I am seeing example after example of this kind of material.
Hopefully the people who conceived of this idiotic plan to "retake Crimea", or whatever nonsense they imagined, will look at the dawning reality of their hopeless lack of progress and mounting losses and have the decency to cancel all such ambitions, before more men are needlessly slaughtered in the mayhem.

Example mentioned in OP is here:
Ukraine War: International combatants came in droves to Ukraine's aid
youtube.com

And here's an example from yesterday from the Daily Mail. Normally pro-Ukrainian, but here showing a totally catastrophic situation in which Ukrainian troops attempted an attack across open terrain on a trench. And are left huddled in an exposed position with a wounded soldier.
A near disaster even if they managed to somehow disengage.
one carefully aimed or lucky shell or mortar in the middle of this bunch and it would have looked like a meat market.

So How Does that Greenhouse Roof Float in the Air?

Tomer D. Tamarkin

This is is my explanation of the greenhouse effect and what it REALY is for people everywhere by way of a story: I remember the greenhouse effect from my childhood visits every summer to my grandparents in Saint Louis.. In the city of Saint Louis in MO, USA, there is a large park called Forest Park. Every summer we would go to Forest Park to fish with worms and fishing poles. When I was five years old a huge glass covered botanical garden was built. Three stores high if I remember. Inside EMF and photons from the Sun penetrated the glass. That caused the inside of the botanical garden to warm up quite nicely and with all the watering of the plants, the relative humidity increased making it a real "hot house.” BUT all that hot hair was trapped inside because the gardens were entirely covered with the glass and the heat could not exit quickly. Thus it stayed warm at night and the plants grew many times faster than they would outdoors in the cooler temperatures. And plants need CO2 for photosynthesis to grow bigger so CO2 was pumped in from storage tanks. I remember my father telling me at the time they increased the CO2 concentration to make the internal CO2 levels 5 to 6 times higher than the ambient outdoor concentrations of CO2 which may have been 350 ppm average in those days. The public was allowed inside also, so even more human produced CO2 (from living…) was introduced inside. My father, a Ph.D. in physics, told me at the time that facility was a greenhouse. Why was it called a greenhouse? Because all the plants inside were very green and large because of the warmth and high levels of CO2. Now can someone criticize me for writing about the way a greenhouse operates? I ask how many large heavy buildings have you seen floating around in the air thousands of feet above ground growing plants. I suspect the answer will be unanimous. Zero. Sorry but greenhouses do not float around in the air. A trace amount of the gasses we put into greenhouses to make them work more efficiently does occur in the air. But only 0.04 percent of the air is such a gas which scientists and political numskulls call Carbon Dioxide and the chemical formula is CO2. Now is this so hard to understand?

Tim adds:

Exactly. They argue the CO2 acts like the roof of the greenhouse and holds in heat, but with just four molecules out of every TEN THOUSAND being carbon dioxide, and three of the four (actually more) having already been there, how does that work exactly? A chicken coop with a wire roof would be better at trapping heat than this miniscule layer of carbon dioxide. I would add water vapor is by far the most powerful greenhouse gas in the Earth's atmosphere and we don't understand it at all. Furthermore, CO2 has a loagarithmic heat-holding, meaning it saturates at it's bandwith after a two degree warming, so it cannot hold any more heat. Hence even if it IS holding heat in the atmosphere it craps out at two degrees. The primary argument they use is that the warming from CO2 will evaporate more water vapor, which will lead to more CO2, and this will lead to the permafrost disappearing and all the methane going into the atmosphere. Runway greenhouse effect. But is that reasonable? Certainly on Mars with a 95% CO2 atmosphere they do not have that; when Mars warms and more CO2 goes into the atmosphere it kicks up dust storms and cools things back down. The same may well be true of increased water vapor, leading to more clouds which block the radiation. BTW there has been no net increase in precipitation worldwide in recent years. In fact the Earth's albedo has decreased in recent years (albedo being a measure of reflectivity) and THAT should not happen in a carbon dioxide-driven planetary warming as more water vapor should mean more clouds and more snow in the Arctic. That that hasn't happened suggests this whole thing is a farce.

Sexual Revolution and Counter-Revolution

Christian Social Worker Sues After Losing Job Offer, Told He Must ‘Embrace And Promote Homosexual Rights’
dailywire.com

Tim adds:

There is a story told about Stalin and the old Soviet Union. Stalin would give speeches and the crowd would applaud uproariously. Anything less than wild enthusiasm would meet with disaster for the spectator.

The story says there was applause that went on for minutes, then tens of minutes, with everyone growing increasingly tired from clapping. Eventually some minister of industrial annoyance or some such stopped clapping and everyone else did too. The NKVD took him away and told him "you can never be the first to stop clapping". He went to Siberia for counter-revolution.

That is where we are at in America these days, particularly with this lgbtq issue. If you aren't wildly enthusiastic you are a counter-revolutionary and will be dealt with.

Barack Hussein Obama took major steps to torpedo the incoming Trump Administration, including launching a war against Michael Flynn, incoming National Security Adviser.

And he'll rot in Hell for it I suspect.

Yes, Florida DID Grow While CA, NY Shrunk

Timothy Birdnow

A hit piece by Business Insider over Florida's population made a spectacular boo-boo. Florida gained 674.740 people. The article claimed they LOST that many.

This was an attempt to say New York and California are doing better than the Sunshine State. The author caught the error and was forced to correct the story.

California and New York saw net loses in population; Florida had a net gain of 205,163.

People ARE leaving blue states no matter how the liars in the media try to spin it.

The Chinese are Coming!

Timothy Birdnow

Chinese sabre-rattling around Taiwan.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army sent 38 warplanes and 9 navy vessels around Taiwan, between 6 a.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. From Wednesday morning until noon time, the military flew another 30 planes, among which included J-10 and J-16 fighters.

Of these, 32 crossed the midline of the Taiwan Strait, an unofficial boundary that had been considered a buffer between the island and mainland. Later on Wednesday, another 23 planes crossed the midline.

The Chinese are probably trying to provoke an incident with the U.S. Also, this tests the resolve of what they think is a spineless President. If Joe Biden were a Marvel superhero his superpower would be a rubber spine.

Frankly the Chinese would be stupid to NOT take action over Taiwan now. They will never get a better opportunity, with Joe Biden mired in almost every quagmire he can dip his toe into, and with the U.S. military powerless from political correctness and out of ammunition thanks to our giving it all to Ukraine. Now is the time.

What response will Mr. Biden make? We've seen how he handles such crisis in the past. He cuts and runs.

Weakness begets war. Biden is weak as water.

In Tuesday and Wednesday's maneuvers, the PLA flew H-6 bombers in a large loop to the south of Taiwan, traveling past the island before looping back towards China's southern coast.

Judge Spanks Biden Censorship

Timothy Birdnow

The judge in Missouri v. Biden, the internet censorship case, gave the DOJ a right smart spanking. If Biden's camp were country kids they would have cut their own switch and pulled down their Armani Levis.

From the article:

The court AGAIN states they feel the plaintiffs will succeed on the merits, but he also adds something—that the White House defendants and the Surgeon General Defendants were found to have likely engaged in the coercion of social media companies. He then goes on to AGAIN give examples.

Read this, legacy media. Everyone else should read it too. The White House and Surgeon General demanded that social media platforms censor Americans and used coercion to get there. How many times does this need to be in writing for you to get it??

[...]

The judge is giving the appellate court ANOTHER GLIMPSE into WHY he ruled this way on the injunction by AGAIN showing the government that what they have done is unconstitutional and wrong.

The FBI and CISA also worked with social media to CENSOR AMERICANS. Please note that the judge is just as troubled as I am (and all of you are) about "COGNITIVE INFRASTRUCTURE.”

The STATE DEPARTMENT worked to censor the speech of Americans. And so did "NGO” EIP. Working as an arm of the government because the government couldn’t go as far as it would have liked. This is so brazen.

God bless this judge!

This illustrates the importance of getting Constitutionalist judges on the courts. It's why the GOP should have fought for Trump, even if they hated him. And why they must fight for him again. Mitch McConnell clearly is prepared to Resist! should Trump be the nominee. And no doubt NRO will all throw their support behind Joe Biden.

Putin Prigozhin Meeting "Likely Staged"

Timothy Birdnow

Was the meeting between Putin and Prigozhin staged?

RETIRED GEN. ROBERT ABRAMS: Well, first, I'd be surprised if we actually see proof of life that Putin met with Prigozhin, and I think it's highly staged. And my personal assessment is that I doubt we'll see Prigozhin ever again publicly. I think he'll either be put in hiding or sent to prison or dealt with some other way, but I doubt we'll ever see him again.

Or perhaps he's already dead. I think that is a definite possibility.

Then again this whole thing may have been staged - the whole uprising - for reasons known to Putin and Prigozhin. Putin is a chess player, not a tiddly winks player like our Fearless Leader.

Basis of Government

"How is this government to be transmitted in its purity and vigour to those who shall come after us? This can only be done by the use of the same means through which it was established. We must not be forgetful of the God of our fathers. We must respect and obey his laws. The morality of the Bible must continue to be the basis of our government. There is no other foundation for free institutions. I say this emphatically, and from the deepest conviction of its truth. This morality is an element of which the free governments of the Old World had no knowledge. It is the ground, and the only ground, on which my hope of this government rests. And I tremble when I see a departure from this highway of liberty.

Recently, as our government has been established, there have already been many departures from this vital principle... What can be more corrupting than such a state of things? It has been fatal to all free governments which have heretofore existed, and, unless checked, will be fatal to ours. The great moral principle of action applies equally to private and public life, to individuals, communities, and nations. And this rule cannot be violated without incurring guilt. We should not forget that there is a Judge of nations as well as of individuals, and, although He may bear long, his judgment will come."

—John McLean, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Remarks on the Value of Scripture at the American Bible Society, 1852.
