Mortgage Rise

Economic talk is that mortgage rates will plateau for the foreseeable future at 5.5 to 6%.

What this does, is the home prices will also plateau, there has been a good 10% reduction in many markets over the past 2 years. So sellers will sit tight for as long as they can. There will definitely be forced sales particularly in the elderly homeowner. They won't be able to ride it out. They either won't be able to maintain their property or make mortgage payments. Rents are going up and that is not a good alternative for the elderly, they will have to cannibalize their lifetime equity to pay rent.

That could change if we actually got a savvy president again. Otherwise we are on the heels of Europe in a disaster for the middle class working population and the elderly.

Home ownership is a stabilizer for society and family formation. Sad days.

We will likely see more generational family living.

Which to me is perhaps the whole point. Our Progressive masters have wanted that for a long, long time. They hated the nuclear family and hated single-family dwellings and automobiles and wanted us living in cramped apartments in giant buildings where we could be kept nice and penned up.

Lots of shenanigans going on with the treasuries and Yellen visiting China. She had to give them something to back off breaking us by dumping treasuries and dollars, or whatever else they decide to do....likely the cost was getting out of Ukraine and leaving Russia alone. Hope so anyway.

Jamie Dimon had visited with the Politburo and came home with a sketched out agreement with China and then old poopy pants Joe called XI a dictator, so that put a fly in the ointment.

Yellen was over there on her knees and didn't even get a dinner in the great hall, they hauled her off to a restaurant. The Chinese are showing their disdain. The regime shutting up about Taiwan would probably help. After all the USA has had a One China Policy for decades. Apparently the administration forgot for a bit. The Chinese stripped the skin off Blinkin for about 8 hours. The CIA Burns apparently was involved in setting up that struggle session. Blinkin came home and reaffirmed the One China Policy.

There are pundits that say Yellen is recognized by the Chinese as more a representative of WEF and EU and she is closely affiliated with them. Definitely Powell and the New York bankers do not see her as a ally.

Collectivism, or herd mentality, can only lead to a meaningless life that is devoid of honest living, adventure, love, freedom, happiness, and fulfillment. Societal herds lose the ability to think as individuals, and envy and jealousy become the primary driving force of thought. This of course leads to a demand for equality where none is available or warranted, and due to this pathetic psychological state, all that is beautiful and good must be destroyed in order to make room for the mediocre community.

This is the state of America today. This country is made up of groups that require consensus of thought and actions, and this inevitably leads to a hatred for individual intellect and individual independence. The larger the mob, the less important the individual, as uniformity takes hold over all that is unique. Any individual that relinquishes his individuality in order to conform to the group has lost all. Once the herd mentality sets in, the consciousness of self disappears, leaving only weakness and confusion. It is in such a state that the crowd is worthless in every way, and mass despair is the result, as it tears down the exceptional.

The Soviet Constitution of 1936 guaranteed "freedom of worship" but did not allow said worship outside of churches or homes or privately. And at the same time the constitution banned religious education of evangelism. It also allowed the right to "freedom of anti-religious activity" which meant that state-sponsored atheist groups could go to churches and harass the believers there. In other words, it was nothing more than a weapon to be wielded against religion while pretending to be supportive.

That is what Dershowitz' proposal would accomplish.

The Founding Fathers all believed in public worship and religion being soundly in the public square.

This only established a secular religion as our state religion. That was the whole reason for the First Amendment.

Recent events have shown us that the materialist atheism that devastated the Russian Empire and the world since 1917 — as the Most Blessed Virgin Mary announced at Fatima — has today joined liberalism in the globalist ideology which underlies the delirious project of the New World Order.

An infernal project, as President Vladimir Vladimirovič Putin rightly pointed out in a recent speech, in which hatred for Christian civilization wants to create a society of slaves subservient to the Davos elite.

A dystopian society, without past and without future, without faith and without ideals, without culture and without art, without fathers and mothers, without family and spirituality, without teachers and spiritual guides, without either respect for the elderly or hopes for our children.

We cannot be surprised that, after de-Christianizi ng the Western world, this elite considers Russia an enemy to be overthrown.

The Russian Federation undeniably stands as the last bastion of civilization against barbarism, and gathers around it all those nations that do not intend to submit to the colonization of NATO, the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and that heap of foundations that have as their purpose the indoctrination of the masses, the manipulation of information, the creation of "colored springs” to destabilize governments legitimately elected and sow chaos, wars and misery as instrumentum regni.

The recent pandemic farce — conducted with criminal methods that I have not hesitated to denounce since the beginning of 2020 — has been followed by new emergencies — including the Ukrainian crisis — deliberately provoked with the aim of destroying the social and economic fabric of nations, decimating the world population, concentrating control in the hands of an oligarchy that no one has elected and that has perpetrated a real world coup d’état, for which sooner or later it will be called to answer before the world.

The theorists of this coup have names and faces, starting with George Soros, Klaus Schwab, and Bill Gates.

Those who today declare that Russia is an enemy consider Europeans, Americans, Australians and Canadians as enemies and treat them as such, persecuting and impoverishing them.

But while World Economic Forum emissaries in Western governments can legislate against the good of their own citizens and hold world leaders in the palm of their hands, regime change that has been successful in other nations has stopped at Russia’s borders.

On the other hand, the electoral fraud of 2020 in the United States of America was also indispensable to prevent the confirmation of President Donald Trump, just as in 2013 the deep state and the deep church managed to get Pope Benedict XVI to resign and to elect a person pleasing to the New World Order, the Jesuit Jorge Mario Bergoglio.

Your commitment must certainly promote Russia’s friendly relations with all peoples, according to that principle of multipolarity which, in a wise long-term political vision, is the best way to combat globalist monopolarity.

But this friendship, these relations of concord and mutual cooperation, cannot disregard the denunciation of the coup d’état perpetrated against humanity by dangerous subversives whose declared purpose is the establishment of an infernal tyranny, in which hatred of God as well as hatred of man created in His image, illness, death, ignorance, poverty, violence, selfishness, and corruption reign supreme.

It is the kingdom of the Antichrist.

This Leviathan must be identified and combated, with an action that involves all free peoples, first of all by rejecting the programmatic points of the Agenda 2030 and the Great Reset with shared initiatives.

We need an Anti-Globalist Alliance that returns to citizens the power that has been taken from them, and to nations the sovereignty eroded and ceded to the Davos lobby.

The Russian Federation will play a decisive role in this effort, as will the message that the International Movement of Russophiles will bring to the peoples of the West, which needs to return to being proud of its Faith and proud of the civilization to which Saints Cyril and Methodius also contributed.

We are fighting an epochal battle: we shall remain under the mantle of the Most Blessed Virgin, the glorious Nikopèia, together with the Archangel St. Michael.

The victory belongs to Christ, and to those who choose to align themselves under the holy banner of the Cross.

The Long Journey of the Sound of Freedom

The story behind "Sound of Freedom" might rightly be seen as a product waiting for the right time, the ignorance of studio, streaming and distribution executives or merely one of God's Providence.

The company eventually purchasing the worldwide distribution rights is an evolution of VidAngel, the company in Provo, Utah, that began in 2013 by taking TV productions and movies and using software, removing/ blanking offensive dialog and scenes from them to make them more family friendly.

Disney and other major studios sued VidAngel for copyright infringement and won a $62 million dollar award. In early September 2020, VidAngel reached a settlement in the lawsuit to pay damages of $9.9 million rather than the original $62.4 million ordered by the court.

Obviously, for a small company, that could have been the end, but in 2021, VidAngel came under new ownership as the original owners moved out of VidAngel and shifted their focus to original content under the newly created company called Angel Studios.

Angel Studios largely relies on crowdfunding to launch their projects and had a bone fide hit with the crowdfunded TV series "The Chosen", launched in 2019, which opened the door to "Sound of Freedom".

The journey of "Sound of Freedom" from South America to Angel Studios sounds a lot like Hebrews wandering in the desert.

Written in 2015, it was shot in Colombia under director Alejandro Monteverde (for $14.5 million) and even though it was helmed by Jim Caviezel and Mira Sorvino, very solid actors but not popular in Hollywood due to their expressed religious views, the movie struggled for a way to get to the public.

In 2018, an international division of Fox made a deal for a future release in Latin America. After Disney acquired Fox in 2019, those limited rights transferred, but due to the lack of action on Disney/s part to release the film, the producer, Eduardo Verástegui, bought the movie back.

Disney said the company’s studio division had no knowledge of the film due to the international licensing.

I'm ripping off and paraphrasing Wall Street Journal a bit here:

"This is a movie about child trafficking. It’s not a Disney movie,” said Verástegui, who also stars in the film as a billionaire backer of the hero’s rescue mission. Verástegui said he spent the next several years pitching the completed movie to other theatrical distributors and streaming services. No deal. During that period, the scant notice "Sound of Freedom” received came when Caviezel described the scourge of child trafficking with language that echoed QAnon conspiracy theories.

In March of 2022, Verástegui approached Angel Studios executives, Jordan, Neal, Jeffrey and Daniel Harmon with the release rights. The Angel executives vetted "Sound of Freedom” with the method they said they use to test all new projects for a potential green light. They showed the movie to an online focus group made up of investors in previous Angel projects, a group of about 100,000 people known as the Angel Guild.

In May, Angel filed a public offering to raise the money needed to distribute "Sound of Freedom” to theaters and market the release. About 7,000 people invested between $10 and $25,000 each, the company said, hitting Angel’s target of $5 million in two weeks. These believers in the picture stood to earn up to 20% in profit on their investment from "Sound of Freedom” ticket revenues, according to the company’s S.E.C. filing.

Within days of a "yes” vote from the Angel Guild, the studio acquired "Sound of Freedom".

Finally released on July 4, 2023, "Sound of Freedom" didn’t spend quite 40 years in the wilderness, but by all rights, it never should have reached the Promised Land. 8 years in the can looking for a distributor is usually a death sentence for a movie, most sitting this long wind up as filler that HBO runs from midnight to six in the morning.

"Sound” has grossed over $85 million to date - even with the leftist, anti-religion, pedo-protecting media trying to kill it by associating it with QAnon. Since the principles of Angel Studios are Mormons, it shouldn't take long for hit pieces to appear as attacks on the LDS church itself.

There is no doubt some irony in that the "Sound of Freedom” was once attached to Fox and Disney, studios that nearly put Angel Studios' predecessor out of business with the VidAngel lawsuit.

And I would assume there is a healthy dose of schadenfreude mixed in there as well.

Sabotaging Sound of Freedom

This morning I caught a little conservative radio and the hosts were discussing their experiences at the airing of the move The Sound of Freedom. There were multiple problems at multiple locations, including problems with the air conditioning, problems with playback, etc.

Interesting. The media and the Left are enraged at this openly pro-religion and pro-American movie.

I remember years ago going to an AMC theatre to see the movie The Great Climate Change Swindle. It only played in one or two theaters in the area. The movie was a disaster; the disc was clearly dirty and it kept locking up or having a bunch of dead pixels. The theater staff said they cleaned it but it didn't help,, and said it was a problem with the disc. I strongly doubt that. The amazing thing was they refused to refund anyone's money despite the fact that the movie was essentially unwatchable.

So they are pulling the same dirty tricks with The Sound of Freedom.

Why are those on the Left so terrified of an open debate? They want to stifle any voice that might prove problematic to their tyrannical utopian dreams, and that includes their dreams of unlimited sexual fulfillment.

Air conditioning has saved far more lives than any efforts by environmentalists. But they are symbols of Western progress and wealth and we can't have people owning A/C units when there are hungry people in the Third World!

If the hair sniffer wants to live in a world without air conditioning let him lead the way and pull it out of the White House. He can fan himself with all his Ukrainian bribe money.

The AP says the problem in San Francisco is a lack of diversity!

I'll wait for your fit of laughter to end.

Ready?

The problem, says the AP, is not enough "diverse housing". Yeah; that'll fix the drug abuse, the poop trails, the homeless crazies assaulting people, the nudity and open sexuality of the gay community, etc.

I don't know when "diversity" came to become our sole criteria for success. I know they started really pushing this in the eighties when I was in college. But now it's the sole and total program. And there was not then nor is there now any empirical evidence to support the notion that "diversity" is our strength. None. There is plenty to condemn it; just look at the Balkans if you want to see how wonderful diversity treats a society. Or Lebanon. Or the Indian subcontinent. Or Subsaharan Africa.

Diversity causes animosity and chaos, it does not solve it.

So we need more diversity in San Francisco since, like, they don't have enough of it.

It was diversity that drove private businesses and families out of the Golden Gate city in the first place. People couldn't live there. They couldn't make a profit there. They had to leave or go under.

The Progressive Left is insane.

U.S. Sending Fighters to Persian Gulf

War is looming all over the globe. While most attention is on Ukraine and some on Taiwan, Iran is pressing and war could well break out there.

For instance, the U.S. is sending F-16 fighter jets to the Strait of Hormuz to protect shipping in the Persian Gulf from acts of piracy by Iran.

These will augment a group of A10 attack aircraft patrolling the strait.

This while Mr. Biden is busy trying to renegotiate the Iran nuclear deal.

Last week Iran tried to seize two oil tankers moving through the strait, firing on one of them.

Why is Iran doing this now? Because they have a strategic partnership with Russia and this is honoring their treaties with Putin. Also, they see they have a golden opportunity now that America is focused laser-like on Ukraine.

This could spiral out of control fairly quickly. If the Israelis feel threatened they could launch a strike against Iran and then the fertilizer will surely hit the fan.

War is looming all over the globe. And this because Mr. Biden has been weak and vacillating and showed he couldn't handle an international affair (like the Afghanistan withdrawel.) At the same time Biden is being belligerant, in Ukraine, in China, etc. and it's the perfect storm; a belligerent weakling. This is the stuff of disaster.

Such weakness and stupidity as displayed by the current Administration is just begging for attack.

As Mr. Biden ratchets up his war in Ukraine things will become ever more tense. Sooner or later somebody's going to light the fusz.
