Great Horney Toads: RGB Nakede and with Horns in NYC

Timothy Birdnow

America is fallen, is fallen:

Have you seen the new goat-horned demon that now stands atop a New York courthouse?

I'm saddened but not surprised "Fallen is Babylon the Great!' She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird" America has become one with Babylon.

And somebody please, for the love of all things holy, gouge out my mind's eye!  The image of RBG emerging naked is too much for me to bear.

This is exactly how America became embroiled in Vietnam. We are going down the same path only this time with a nuclear power.

In Vietnam the Gulf of Tonkin resolution gave the President the authority to escalate the military actions in Vietnam. This may well be comparable.

McCarthy and Santos

Timothy Birdnow

The GOP is the stupid party, and the leadership are mental pygmies. Take Kevin McCarthy - please!

The new House Squeeker plans to remove Republican tall tale teller George Santos for fibbing on his resume' prior to his election to the House from Long Island.

One can almost hear the flies buzzing into and out of McCarthy's mouth.

First, isn't it the concern of those who elected Santos and not his? The People of New York 3 elected this guy. Perhaps it was on false grounds, but isn't it their decision and not the Mc's? I mean they only have to wait two years.

Second, the GOP holds the slimmest majority in the House, and that balance could tip quite easily. They need this guy. There is no guarantee the GOP will hold this seat in a special election.

Finally, why is it the Republicans feel they must hold themselves to a higher standard. The Democrats are full of people who told such tall tales.

Look at Cherokee Lizzy Warren; she lied about her ancestry because her family had high cheekbones. Used it to advance her career, claiming to be a minority. And she STILL makes the false claim.

Look at Joe Biden himself; he's told innumerable, demonstrably false stories about his life and career. He plagiarized multiple foreign leaders speeches. And here he is still at it.

Talk show host Bill Cunningham chronicles the lies of the Democrats.

Don't forget the Clintons; they lied all the time. Remember Hillary claiming she was named for Edmund Hillary, who was two years away from climbing Everest when the norn was born? Or he claims to have arrived at Bosnia under sniper fire? I am barely scratching the surface.

Or Bills. "I did not inhale", "I never had sexual relations with that woman", etc.

Or Al Gore, who "invented the internet".

I could  go on and on. But only the GOP risks throwing away their majority over some fudging by a political candidate.

I think McCarthy needs a drool cup.

The fact is the GOP will get no good will from tossing Santos overboard. And there is no moral value in doing it either as it's not their responsibility. The Republicans pushing this are simply posturing just like the people in Antifa or any other leftist moral high horse organization. They want to say "I am better than you because I don't tolerate this" but in the end it is an empty gesture.

If McCarthy were a real leader he would have said he was awaiting the results of the ethics investigation and said nothing beyond that. That he is already talking about booting Santos before the investigation is underway is illustrative of the cowardice and weakness of the Republicans, and this particular Republican RINO.

If Republicans worried half as much about removing bad Democrats as their own people they would have solid control of government. That they spend more effort fighting their own shows their stupidity and is why they always lose - and I suspect the RINO wing likes it that way as it makes them indispensable.

Pope Francis - the Sugarplum Fairy Pontiff

Timothy Birdnow

Pope Francis - the Sugarplum Fairy Pontiff.

Yes, he really did call for "re-education" of bishops who cling to the antiquated notion that homosexuality is a sin that leads to eternal damnation and should be illegal.

He spoke of "recognizing the dignity of everyone" but who is it that is degrading and disgracing themselves? Does playing with the sewer of another man not in itself degrade a person?

Pointing that out is not the problem. The Bible is quite clear that homosexuality is a mortal sin, punishable by eternal damnation. It is a most grave thing and it requires of the shepherds a response that is not flattering to the sinner but rather calls them to repentance. Francis wants to excuse it.

Do we use a similar standard for other sins? Do we complain of violating the dignity of a serial killer because we condemn his eating his victims? One must first point out the fact of sin and recognize it as such before offering forgiveness. Now the Catholic Church wants to extend forgiveness to those who do not want it. Without repentance there can be no forgiveness.

So many are going to go to Hell because Pope Francis wants to play nice and be liked.

I don't favor laws against homosexuality, but there are countries that do and perhaps it's better as it makes the line clear. Can anyone argue we are better off now that we allow any sort of sexual behavior? Can we really claim that this has made society better?

I don't know, but I do think it's none of the state's business, as most thing are not. I am more concerned with the power of government than the sexual degeneracy of some. But Francis speaks not as a civil libertarian but as leader of the largest Christian denomination in the world. He is a moral teacher, not a political leader. Its his job to keep people out of Hell.

And he isn't doing that here. There is no value to publicly spouting this off. If he worries about it he should speak privately with the bishops in question. But he does no such thing; he interjects this into the public square, leading people astray. There are going to be many who will use this to justify their deviant lifestyles.

But this shouldnt surprise us; Pope Francis was put in power by the "Lavender Mafia",  a cabal of homosexual priests who have promoted a "gay friendly" Church for decades.

God will not be mocked. Pope Francis will have a lot of 'splainin' to do".

Follow the Science?

Timothy Birdnow

So, our government is "following the science" and wanting to compel people to take yearly Covid vaccinations.

Following the science, eh? What of this, or this
or this?

In fact the boosters probably cause more harm than good. See this, and this.

In fact, the risk of getting Covid increases after the second booster.

And there are multiple bad side effects, according to peer reviewed studies.

So who is following the science? The government or the "deniers"?

The fact that they are proceeding full steam ahead with booster vaccine campaigns illustrates this is NOT about science or even the public health and has everything to do with - something else. Pharmaceutical profits, for one. Probably the power and control this mandate can give them. And probably to keep the Covid scam pandemic going for at least one more election cycle (and they can thus keep mail-in voting going, allowing them to steal the next election.)

Waiting for Godot (or Don'tgo)

Willis Eschenbach

Too funny … in the UK, charging your electric vehicle at public electric car charge points now costs MORE per mile than petrol (gasoline) …

===
"Rapid charge points used by motorists topping up on long drives are now nearly £10 more expensive than filling up a car with petrol, the Royal Automobile Club revealed last week.

But research from the AA published on Monday finds that recharging an electric car even using a slow public charger at peak times can be more expensive, per mile driven afterwards, than for refuelling a comparable petrol car."
===

Hate to laugh at the electric losers, but I am enjoying schadenfreude all day long on that one

Tim adds:

And six hour charge waits.

Biden Widens the War in Ukraine, Promises Tanks

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Biden just gave a presser on NBC where he promised Abram tanks to the Ukrainians in a move that widens the war much as the Gulf of Tonkin resolution did in Vietnam. This is a move that may well lead to direct American involvement in the war. Russia will have to respond.

This is yet another escalation of American involvement in this war and makes the whole world even more dangerous.

At some point Vladimir Putin will push back. And it could be very nasty.

Biden spoke like an automaton - wooden and stilted. He made such statments as "the findelization of Europe" which shows his cognitive decline. He stumbled and struggled with words and with sentence structure. And this man has his finger on the nuclear button!

We are being led by a senile old fool to doomsday, or if not doomsday at least a world of hurt.

We've already exhausted our weapons supplies and are now begging the communists in Venezuela and Cuba to send arms to Ukraine (which we promise to replace with new weapons as soon as we can make them.)

Strange; he wants to take away American guns but sees the value in Ukrainians having them. And as he lost so many in Afghanistan to the Taliban he must now beg the Commies, who will us the new weapons we give them on their own people.  What a genius!

Joe Biden is the Elmer Fudd of politics, and he's the incredible shrinking President, as dementia and his past sins catch up with him. Sadly he's going to drag us all down with him.

The Pandemic Madness

Jerry S. Rainforth

Below I reprint my own warning from January 27, 2020. Yes, I would change some of it now but not much. This was published nearly two months before the lockdowns hit the US. I wish now that I had explained in this short space the role of acquired immunities, the need for medical doctors to focus on therapeutics, and the essential requirement for society to continue to function as normally as possible in the midst of a pandemic.

We’ve all learned over these three years. The lesson I’ve taken away is that the quarantine power is far more dangerous than even I imagined. I’ve also been late to observe the astonishing power of Big Pharma to manipulate policy for its own ends. When I wrote the following, I did not even imagine that there would come a time in the near future when this industry would claim that we could vaccinate our way out of this pandemic. It was too absurd a scenario back then even to contemplate. And of course I never imagined that the lockdowns would last two years and more in many places. Sheer madness.

Excess Deaths Rising in the Young

John Lees

I hear people talk a lot about a wave of excess deaths. I thought that I'd go and visit the EuroMomo website and see if there is any obvious signal. Expecting, not much.
However, excess deaths this winter are notably high across much of Europe. Not worse than the previous Covid influenced winters though.
One thing that stands out, is the notably high excess deaths for the last year, for 0-14 year olds.
Winter excess death surges do not generally affect kids to any significant extent at all, as can be seen in previous years.
So what is going on with the 0-14 year excess deaths rate?
It would potentially be more revealing if only we could see this data age stratified and by country.
Curious...
May be an image of text that says 'WEEK RANGE 2017-04 2017-04 2018 2019 2020 Pooled deaths 2021 SHOW Normal range 2023-02 02 2022 Baseline 2018 2023-02 Number Substantial increase 2019 26 Z-scores 0-14 years 2020 What is az-score? The Shadow People

The Shadow People

by Timothy Birdnow

1/25/2023

Don't go in the woods alone at night
don't you dare
the silence bleeds the phantoms breed, take heed and take great care
for lurking in the dark and deep, the shadows move and creep
Shadow people there

without substance, without shape
the whispers in the air
dried bones with blackness draped
the eyes all dull with stare
mouths agape, take care

Sirens that beckon to wandering stars
imprisoning from afar
twisting minds with nursery rhymes
trapped within iron bars
the whispered sighs of shadow lies
their tombs a wound of scars

The seduction has begun now, the shadows move and dance
the induction to their number
their dark armies advance

the shadows are so famished
our eyes are burning coal
they dance upon the screen now
to damned our children's souls

We know that they are evil, we know that they are wrong, we understand the dangers but we always play along
the sin is quite primeval
but it is we who sing the song
the worm and the boll weevil
are the gift of this dark throng

for demons of the wood do trap unwary visitors there
Medusa shadows petrify our souls
but still we stare
the shadow people dance and beckon
on our plasma screens
and little do we ponder why, or what any of it means
it's but a black and empty hole
and death is it's main goal
the shadow people love the darkness
and to feast on our poor souls

Don't go alone into the wood at night, don't you ever dare
the bones of greater men than you are strewn about, take care
the shadow people prowl those woods, the blackness is their power
and in that hour your soul devour
light the candle and say your prayer.

Pope Benedict Unleashes Posthumous BOMBSHELL on the Catholic Church

Dana Mathewson

One of the greatest popes of all time "let it all hang out" in a book he didn't want published in his lifetime.

When Pope Benedict XVI died on December 31 at the age of 95, it turns out that he had a completed book ready for publication upon his death. Written in Italian, that book, Che cos’è il Cristianesimo: Quasi un testamento spirituale (What Is Christianity: Almost a Spiritual Testament), is full of explosive revelations and trenchant criticism of his woke successor, Pope Francis. Could Pope Benedict begin a counter-revolution within the Roman Catholic Church from the grave? Stranger things have happened, although it would take any one of us a good while to think of one.

Pope Benedict explains that he did not want the book published while he was still living because of the furious reaction his writings inspired: "For my part, in life, I no longer want to publish anything. The fury of the circles against me in Germany is so strong that the appearance of my every word immediately causes a murderous shouting from them. I want to spare myself and Christendom this.”

It’s easy to see why this book would inspire "murderous shouting” from some corners of the Roman Catholic Church. Benedict writes that the Church is close to "collapse” and paints a picture of seminaries in the United States as centers of promiscuous homosexuality and perversion. "In various seminaries,” the pope explained, "homosexual ‘clubs’ were formed which acted more or less openly and which clearly transformed the atmosphere in the seminaries. In a seminary in southern Germany, candidates for the priesthood and candidates for the lay office of pastoral referent lived together.”

The corruption was more or less out in the open. "During common meals,” Benedict noted, "the seminarians were together with married pastoral representatives, partly accompanied by their wives and children and in some cases by their girlfriends. The climate in the seminary could not help priestly formation.” He said that a "bishop who had previously been rector had allowed seminarians to be shown pornographic films, presumably with the intention of thereby enabling them to resist against behavior contrary to the faith.”

These allegations are all too plausible. On Sunday, the Times of London reported that "the Roman Catholic church is investigating allegations of a lockdown ‘sex party’ at a cathedral as part of an inquiry into a former bishop’s tenure. In a highly unusual move, the Vatican has ordered an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Robert Byrne’s resignation as the Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle in December.” It appears that "a number of complaints were made by individuals within the diocese after information came to light about a sex party taking place in the priests’ living quarters attached to Newcastle cathedral.” As a result of all this, "the cathedral had become a laughing stock.”

Amid the steady stream of news about sexual misconduct by priests, this kind of story is sadly unsurprising, and comes, according to Pope Benedict, amid the effort of some Catholic leaders to remake the faith itself: "There were individual bishops, and not only in the United States, who rejected the Catholic tradition as a whole, aiming in their dioceses to develop a kind of new, modern catholicity.” Pope Benedict, who respected Catholic tradition, was the enemy in these circles: "Perhaps it is worth mentioning the fact that, in not a few seminaries, students caught reading my books were considered unfit for the priesthood. My books were concealed as harmful literature and were read only in secret, so to speak.”

Pope Benedict criticized Pope Francis for doing nothing to stop the rampant corruption: "In the context of the meeting of the presidents of the episcopal conferences of the whole work with Pope Francis, it is at heart above all the question of priestly life and also that of seminaries. As regards the problem of preparation for priestly ministry in seminaries, we note in fact a vast collapse of the current form of this preparation.”

Pope Benedict also warned that amid the Church’s disarray, the world was becoming increasingly anti-Christian. He noted that the "great powers of tolerance do not grant to Christianity the tolerance they propagate, adding that their "radical manipulation of man” and "distortion of the sexes through gender ideology” were inherently anti-Christian, and regarded the Church as an obstacle: "The intolerance of this apparent modernity towards the Christian faith has not yet turned into open persecution, and yet it manifests itself in an increasingly authoritarian way with the aim of achieving, by appropriate legislation, the eradication of what is essentially Christian.” Anyone who doubts that should just consult the daily headlines.

Powerful indeed! The rest is found here: https://pjmedia.com/culture/robert-spencer/2023/01/24/pope-benedict-unleashes-posthumous-bombshell-on-the-catholic-church-n1664629

If they keep this up, we'll be able to call the brand Hardly-Davidson. (before calling it defunct). Yeah, riders will just love that low hum when they "fire up" their motor. LOL.

Tim adds:

Years ago Harley Davidson tried to make a more modern and quieter bike. It was a spectacular fail; the public wanted the old Harley with the noise and everything. This is a classic example of young corporate types thinking they can reinvent the wheel. Harley riders don't want a reinvented wheel; they like the loud, old fashioned wheel they love.

Obama Legalized Funding for Gain of Function

Timothy Birdnow

Barack Hussein Obama lifted the ban on Gain of Function research just weeks before Donald Trump took office.

While this probably didn't make the Covid virus, it certainly sped up the process. I have little doubt Fauci and the government were funding it indirectly well before Obama made funding it legal, but this made it happen during the Trump administration.

Why, it's almost as if some people WANTED a pandemic...
