Some are More Accountable than Others

Warner Todd Houston makes the following astute observations:

Let me get this straight.... Democrats say kids brought into the U.S. illegally are not responsible for the crimes of their parents... but white people are guilty of slavery that ended 150 years ago?

It is amazing how ignorant Democrats are of history. All day long I've gotten tweets from moron leftists saying we need reparations "because we need to hold America responsible for slavery." Nearly 700,000 Americans firkin DIED while being held accountable for slavery. That train left the station in 1865, morons

Calumny; Woman Accuses Trump of Rape

Timothy Birdnow

A mainstream media advice columnist has accused Donald Trump of raping her back in the mid '90's.

She also said he has a small penis.

Now, if she were telling the truth, would she make that statement? There's more:

E. Jean Carroll tells @Lawrence that she will not seek rape charges against Donald Trump because it would be "disrespectful" to women at the boarder "who are being raped around the clock" pic.twitter.com/TG13a3k95W
— Jon Levine (@LevineJonathan) June 22, 2019

Huh? Won't press charges because she doesn't want to disrespect illegal aliens who are being raped by other illegal aliens?

This is not just a lie, but a profound lie. The Left is desperate.

BTW, Trump likes beautiful women. This gal wouldn't even fire up Bill Clinton.

Junk Yard Trump

Timothy Birdnow

Bookworm makes the following observation:

Am I the only one who understands that @realDonaldTrump is letting the Iranians know he’s a mad dog who’s just barely leashed and that, if they act up again, the leash will break?

— Bookwormroom (@Bookwormroom) June 21, 2019

The longer version goes back to a theory I developed when George Bush was president. Back then, the Lefties on my feed all called Bush a "cowboy,” meaning that he was a stupidly loose cannon who might do anything, at any time. Back then, I argued that Bush’s actions were, in fact, very restrained, but that there was a virtue to being perceived as a loose cannon. It made him unpredictable and, to our enemies, threatening.

Trump cultivates a different, albeit equally unpredictable and dangerous, image: He’s the attack dog, constantly barking ferociously, anxious to charge his enemies and rip out their jugulars. The only thing holding him back is the leash that his more mature advisers are able to tug on, just barely, in order to restrain his killer, otherwise-unmanageable instincts.

This seems to be a successful pose. After all, it was his insouciant, killer dog bomb-dropping during a dinner with Chairman Xi that probably brought Kim Jong-un to the negotiating table. On the one hand, Kim is the premier of a despicable, deadly totalitarian system, and has apparently participated fully in that system, whether because he believes in it or because it’s the only way to stay alive in a tank full of fanatical communist alligators. On the other hand, Kim is also a guy who was raised in the West, who likes his creature comforts, and who doesn’t want to die. He worries that Trump might kill him and that’s an incentive to negotiate.

Radiation fraud must be exposed

Paul Driessen

From Tom Harris and Dr. Jay Lehr

Many people think that science is somehow immune to frauds and misrepresentations. Application of the "scientific method” supposedly weeds out the bad apples. Yet, just as in every other human endeavor, there are always scientists who will lie, cheat, and steal to get ahead. A few even received Nobel Prizes before they were found out.

One of these deceptions has yet to be effectively unveiled. The cost to medicine, human health, and energy is huge. That is the unsupportable concept that even the smallest amount of radiation could lead to the production of cancer cells in the human body.

Old & Young Vets' suicide rates mixed together - deceiving?

Jack Kemp

I've just read a source book on transcendental meditation which mentions significant information about veterans, as the author has come across an interesting clarification, one showing that what we are told in the press about current veterans' suicide rates have been distorted and exaggerated by sensation seeking "journalists,." making younger vets appear more prone to suicide than they statistically are, even though there is a lot of PTSD among recent war veterans. In the book "Strength and Stillness" by Bob Roth, it states:

"...according to a recent study from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs...The study includes more than fifty million veterans' records from 1979 to 2014 from every state. Most striking, roughly 65 percent of all veteran suicides in 2014 were for individuals fifty years or older, many of whom spent little or no time fighting in the most recent wars."

The source of this study was an article in the Military Times, namely:

Leo Shane III and Patricia Kime's "New VA Study Finds 20 Veterans Commit Suicide Each Day," Military Times online, last modified 7 July 2016 and can be found here.

So the older veterans of the Vietnam Era had more problems. Well there are reasons for this that have nothing to do with the intelligence of the typical citizens' I.Q. in the Vietnam era. This is further explained in a recent ground breaking book that I summarize in the following brief article I include below. The Dept. of Defense and the VA did a lot of "blaming the victim" in those days, more so than now.

Hamilton Gregory is a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran as a college grad who became a regular infantryman and not an officer. By going through basic training boot camp, he got to meet and mentor some of the draftees from Sec. of Defense McNamara's absurd social program concept called "Project 100,000." Others in the military called it "McNamara's Morons" who were brought into the services. The situation was a perfect storm of military manpower shortages and elitist do gooder concepts that created a nightmare social program. These low I.Q. combatants brought into the military to "uplift them" suffered triple the death rate of the soldiers they fought with because a number of them - at the lower end of the I.Q. scale - could not literally tell their left foot from their right or know how to tie the laces of their combat boots, as author Hamilton Gregory observed firsthand in the service. He later contacted other veterans' stories to get an overall view of this problem.

Mr. Gregory tells the story of a national "leadership" folly and the mostly sad and unjust impact it had on these low I.Q. veterans, a group that was easy to exploit because they were often poor urban black and also poor back country whites, both groups which did not know how to use the system to protest their abuses by contacting Congressmen or getting legal advice. And this policy of taking very low functioning recruits all started in their early 1960s, even before the Vietnam War buidup.

President Kennedy's Sec. of Defense Robert McNamara, a technocrat and former Ford Motor Company CEO and WWII U.S. Army statistical analysis officer himself, had championed this idea even before the military buildup of the Vietnam War, namely that the military (mostly the Army and the Marines) could take in recruits who had failed the military's intelligence test, getting scores below an 80 I.Q. and giving them remedial education with the use of 1960s-era high techvideotape coursework. This was a continuation of many social programs that made up Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty." The problem was most difficult when the military began taking in recruits with I.Q.s around 60. I'm not making this up. Hamilton Gregory details this history in his book "McNamara's Folly: The Use of Low-IQ Troops in the Vietnam War." And the last chapter talks in great detail about this practice still being continued, to some extent, even to the present day. A thirty-six minute summary of Mr. Gregory's findings can also be seen on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J2VwFDV4-g

Where McNamara was partially right was with a few of these low I.Q. recruits in the higher range who could be trained to do decent basic work such as carrying supplies or cleaning medical clinics. But many of sub 70 I.Q. recruits were a threat and danger to themselves and their fellow combatants. This problem could not be then eliminated because of the nature of the draft and draft exemptions. Politicians  were reluctant to eliminate college students military deferments and fatherhood deferments (as well as the ease of even avoiding the draft by getting braces for one's teeth). The politicians allowed this because didn't want to risk being voted out of office by the middle class. Major League professional athletes, for example, in all but two cases, found themselves positions in Reserve units that were not deployed to the war at all, as they have been the case in recent Middle Eastern wars.

Mr. Gregory talks of such down to earth real things that McNamara, in his Pentagon office, was nowhere close to having to deal with face-to-face on a daily basis but could be imagined by him from a distance as his "doing good for the disadvantaged" project. This included problems such as these "Project 100,000" enlistees constantly failing physical training tests (officers often sent them to sick bay on the days when test times were recorded for their units) to also having ringers (mentally competent sergeants) take basic training mental proficiency tests in place of these low I.Q. enlistees. But this resulted in problems in the field such as the story about a low I.Q. soldier who challenged an officer in Vietnam to give a password but then shot the officer dead before he had the chance to answer or soldiers who constantly wanted to talk while on patrol - another risk to the fighting unit's lives.

Hamilton Gregory, besides being a career journalist, has made an effort to tell the story of those low I.Q. soldiers after the war. But his telling the stories has not undone the past damages. One of those soldiers, a man named John L. Ward. wrote a history of his time in the service which he titled "Moron Corps: A Vietnam Veteran's Case for Action." I got this book and frankly found it offers few insights on how he helped others. And the book states that Ward has moved to the Philippines.

But this Hamilton Gregory's book (and the Youtube video of his) gives one insight into how a war was halfheartedly fought in the 1960s and the aftereffects still haunting this country. It's always easier to blame the veterans than those who set up the system.

NOTE: After showing this article to Brett D'Alessandro, the veteran who co-runs the charity Backpacks for Life, he tells me he still believes the figures of current veteran suicides is understated. Disagreeing with the Bob book and the Military Times article and also noting that second book about McNamara's "Project 100,000," he adds this comment: "For every one veteran that commits suicide there are a dozen that go undocumented. I get his point that possibly the older generation might have the majority of veterans committing suicide but the numbers are not low."

Americans for Tax Reform

A bill being pushed by Republican Congressman Francis Rooney would trigger new or higher taxes on many Social Security recipients. Rooney is the lone Republican sponsor of the bill, H.R. 763, a carbon tax bill co-sponsored by over 40 House Democrats.

Read about it here.

Funny; I thought Republicans were opposed to tax hikes, yet here we are. This guy needs to be primaried out of office. We don't need false friends like that.

Rooney is a Congressman from Florida.

Ninth Circuit allows Trump to defund Planned Parenthood

Timothy Birdnow

Good news! A Federal Court has ruled that the Trump Administration can defund Planned Parenthood! Believe it or not!

'From the Epoch Times:

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel of three judges all voted to allow the rules to go into effect even as lawsuits against the administration are underway in multiple court systems. The rules will be put into place by the Health and Human Services (HHS) agency.

"Absent a stay, HHS will be forced to allow taxpayer dollars to be spent in a manner that it has concluded violates the law, as well as the Government’s important policy interest in ensuring that taxpayer dollars do not go to fund or subsidize abortions,” the judges wrote in the ruling (pdf), which was published online by CNN.

The judges wrote that Congress enacted Title X in 1970 to create a limited grant program for certain types of pre-pregnancy family planning services. In 1988, HHS regulations were put into place forbidding clinics receiving Title X funds from providing counseling or referrals for abortion as a method of family planning.

Those regulations were suspended several years later by the department but now the Trump administration is seeking to put them back into place, referring to it as the "Final Rule.”

"The Final Rule was a reasonable interpretation of” Title X, the judges wrote. It was supported by the Supreme Court decision in Rust v. Sullivan in 1991 that upheld the 1988 regulations, which were crafted by the administration of President Ronald Reagan.

That is the truly astonishing part; the Ninth Circuit, the most liberal appelate court in America, ruled the President has the authority to cut off funding. This is like seeing the Dali Lama firing a machine gun in a war, orseeing the Pope in a gangsta rap video. It's just not something we could ever expect.

For decades Planned Parenthood has suckled at the teat of Uncle Sam while promoting abortion, something that half of the country abhors. They've gotten away with it by claiming they keep their abortion services and other "health" services separate, but the reality is there has never been any sort of wall between the two. It is well past time they lost their Federal dollars.

Of course, they will employ the trick so often used by Progressives; change their name and reapply for funding. ACORN, the vote stealing organization that Obama worked for way back when, is now officially defunct, but they still operate under a new name and new management. It's hard to kick these progressive maggots out of the body politic.

But this is a very good opportunity to at least show we do not support reaching into a woman's womb and chopping up little babies.

Weak Case Against Military Action Against iran

Timothy Birdnow

W. James Antle III argues that war with Iran would spell doom for the Trump Presidency.

From American Conservative:

Just as their last turn at the wheel wrecked the Bush presidency and eventually left Barack Obama in power alongside three-fifths Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress, the Republican Party’s wildest hawks could now ensure that Trump is a one-term president. The president once understood this, telling Jeb Bush, "Your brother and his administration gave us Barack Obama…. Abraham Lincoln couldn’t have won.”

Whether one thinks a military response to Iran is warranted or wise, I disagree with Antle's logic; Bush wrecked his own presidency, it was not the fault of his Iraqi invasion. Iraq was the shoal which foundered Bush's ship of state, but in the end it was Bush himself (and his rotund pucillanimous brain Karl Rove) who failed to defend his decisions. That was always the maddening thing about the Bush Administration; Bush simply would not contradict the media. That was Rove's strategy; to simply move on rather than fight mischaracterizations and half-truths. Bush conceded the "no WMD's" meme rather than provide evidence (which he had) of those weapons and how they were moved out of Iraq prior to the war. Bush telegraphed the war, and gave Saddam Hussein plenty of time to move his stockpile. Bush no doubt had this information, but he wouldn't use it because (probably) the CIA and others didn't want him to do so. Knowing what we do now, and remembering that the CIA did in fact run a black op on Bush via the Valerie Plame affair (which led to the appointment of Patrick Fitzgerald as special prosecutor) we can conclude that either Bush was lied to by his intelligence people OR they dropped the ball. Either way, Bush should have come clean with the American People. He didn't, and the end result was people stopped trusting him.

Reparations? A Modest Proposal

Timothy Birdnow

An article at Conservative HQ delineates the plot by Democrats to impose slavery reparations on America. The author, George Rasley, hit the nail on the head with this.

From the article:

The bill, drafted by Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18), would create a commission to look at a "national apology" for slavery and discrimination against African Americans, potentially including compensation, report The Hill’s Sarah Ferris and Caitlin Oprysko.

Jackson Lee’s bill received a hearing yesterday in the House Judiciary Committee — the chamber’s first hearing on reparations in a decade. The bill is expected to soon have a full committee markup, though Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) has not yet set a date. A floor vote would come after that reported Ferris and Oprysko.

This was followed by some quotes by academics who are pushing this. Again from the article:

Dr. Julianne Malveaux, an economist and former president of Bennett College, who has studied economic gaps between racial groups, particularly the wealth gap, for nearly 40 years said about reparations, "It’s an idea whose time has come.”

Malveaux said that the wealth gap between black and white Americans hasn’t diminished over the years—in fact, studies show it’s gotten worse. And though Donald Trump’s presidency has helped to galvanize some of these conversations around racial equity, she added that the work around studying reparations has been done for many years through organizations like the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations (NCOBRA).

This prompted me to leave the following reply:

"Malveaux said that the wealth gap between black and white Americans hasn’t diminished over the years—in fact, studies show it’s gotten worse."

Question; what is the wage gap between Black Americans and the average person in West Africa? That is the more important comparison, not the wage gaps between Americans. Seems to me the current African Americans have actually profited by having ancestors who were slaves; it got them out of those hell-holes their ancestors inhabited. Nobody is saying slavery was some sort of benefit, but clearly black Americans are doing better than their African cousins. Oh, and does anyone remember George Obama, Barack's half brother who was living in the equivalent of a cardboard box in Kenya? He would have been better served to have been born here, slavery or no.

Everything is blamed on slavery by the victocrats in the black community, but how much is a result of slavery and how much is a result of clinging to a culture that has failed them? Black culture is a blend of the stone-age values of the ancestors of modern blacks mixed a veneer of Western civilization and an unhealthy dose of victimology and dependency. They embrace the Democrats as an article of faith, a religious belief that is at odds with empirical data and their own interests. So many black people blindly obey the slave masters in the social welfare state and the Democratic Party.

I have to ask; why are Asians doing so much better than African Americans? Asians weren't slaves, but they were just barely a step above, yet they do very well.

Victimhood is like alcoholism; denial is the first and most noticeable symptom. The African American community will never find what they claim to be looking for as long as they blame others for their fate. Did they get a raw deal in the past? Sure, but every ethnic group did as some point. The Irish weren't exactly welcomed with open arms. And that is true in all countries through all history. The Romans held slaves; lots of them. Should Italy be paying reparations?

For decades the Federal Government practiced what was called "race norming" in it's hiring practices. They denied they did it until just about fifteen years ago or so; they knew it would be very unpopular. But hiring was done on the basis of how one scored on the civil service exams, yet far more blacks were employed than whites, which made no sense as blacks generally score more poorly on written exams. There was discrimination against whites as a form of reparations. Also, the entire welfare state - the Great Society - was aimed at the black community. In short, we've already had reparations. I wouldn't mind giving them if that would mean the end of things; no more race norming, no more affirmative action, no more whining. But this will only accelerate the pro-black discrimination, not give us a race-neutral country.

Of course, the logistics of reparations are daunting, and they would be inherently unfair. Who pays? Will children of Bosnian immigrants who came here during the war with Serbia have to pay? They had nothing to do with slavery, nor did many white people whose family immigrated after the Civil War. And America has never held the sins of the father against the son. Who receives the benefits? Somali immigrants? They never experienced slavery. This is nothing but a way to enshrine discrimination and reverse racism.

I have a modest proposal; perhaps we should focus our attention a bit more precisely. Since the Democratic Party supported slavery (the Republicans were founded as an anti-slavery party0 and since they supported Jim Crow and the Ku Klux Klan, maybe the reparations should only come from registered Democrats? Just asking.

Gardner and Tisaby met Clandestinely in Baton Rouge

Timothy Birdnow

Another from the St. Louis Police Officer's Association. Seems St. Louis Prosecuting attorney Kim Gardner's indicted investigator clandestinely met with Gardner in Baton Rouge, Louisiana prior to her takedown of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.

Here is the statement:

One wonders what facet of the Greitens investigation compelled Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner and her ace investigator Mr. Tisaby to spend two days together in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Is there a Cajun Connection in all this madness?

Here is the article which gives this information.

Who would Risk becoming a Cop?

Timothy Birdnow

The St. Louis Police Officers Association made this comment about the inability of the city to hire policemen:

"The union said the resulting manpower crisis makes it impossible to properly police the most violent city in America, which only contributes to the city’s murder and crime epidemic.”

Here
is the article they are referencing.

St. Louis can't get applicants because they are not backing their officers. The District Attorney (our name for Prosecuting Attorney) is a George Soros woman who cut her teeth in the Black Lives Matter protests. She hates cops, and has a list of over thirty that she will not follow up with prosecutions if they make arrests because she says they are racist. The city has allowed protests - and illegal activity during those protests - and even riots. Many city aldermen in the north side marched in Ferguson and in the Shaw neighborhood. City cops are completely hamstrung and there have been shootings of them. Who in their right mind would want to join an organization to be universally maligned?

In point of fact, the police in St. Louis pretty much leave you alone if you aren't committing crimes, unlike many of the police departments in towns out in St. Louis County. The city didn't have control of the police department; the state of Missouri did, and so it was never used as a revenue-generating mechanism.

City cops are hated primarily by criminals who don't like being kept from preying on city residents.

Amazingly enough, an idiot on KMOX radio named Charlie Brennan once argued that we need more immigrant so America to fill vacancies in teh St. Louis Police Department. Yeah; maybe we can get our own version of Officer Noor, the Somali who murdered the Australian woman who had called for police protection up in Minneapolis. We need more like THAT!

What we need is more backing and less groveling to BLM, George Soros, Antifa, and Occupy Wall Street. But then, the Democrats have controlled St. Louis since 1948 when the last Republican mayor was defeated by a Democrat.

Oh, and the SLPD is busy making officers gay pride parades instead of actually trying to stop crime. (See footnote at end for link.)

Syrian "Refugee" Terror Plot in Pittsburg

Timothy Birdnow

A Syrian "refugee" in Pittsburg has been arrested for plotting terrorist attacks on Christian churches.

https://www.wtae.com/article/pittsburgh-resident-syrian-man-arrested-on-terrorism-charges-after-planning-attack-on-christian-church/28108243?fbclid=IwAR1SWT0FbB8A6rs8cooAQehKsemA6YYKJoQlI2mvrn-dVpHpoZ1CkOiiTjY

This is what happens when you let people in with insufficient vetting. It is especially what happens when you let people from war torn Muslim countries in without proper vetting. How stupid is America to accept all these "refugees" with no way of verifying anything about them? It's a;generally bad idea to let Muslims immmigrate in general, because they will inevitably begin demanding to live under Sharia, then will demand all the rest of us do likewise.

The media silence on this story is deafening.

Meanwhile, Nike is adding a new line of "sports" hijabs!

What the well dressed terrorists are all wearing!

I suppose we can have a number of new Olympic sports for them; sneaking across borders, bomb making, and my personal favorite, a competition to see who can hold out against water boarding the longest.

Alien Assaults Woman he Raped after his Release from Prison

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a story that disgusts on multiple levels. A homeless Seattle man strangled a wheel-chair bound mother after a bleeding heart judge released him without supervision after only nine months in jail for the rape.

From the article:

(Francisco) Carranza-Ramirez pleaded guilty to the attacks in February, and on Thursday a King County judge ordered him released from jail on time served, KCPQ reported. He was in jail for nine months.

Superior Court Judge Nicole Gaines Phelps declined to put Carranza-Ramirez on probation or community release, which would have put him under supervision, after he promised to fly to California on Monday and go to Mexico by land, The Seattle Times reported.

The man, who police infuriatingly described as "a white man" despite being from Mexico and named Francisco Carranza-Ramirez, was released with no probation and no supervision, despite efforts by the victim to obtain a restraining order against him. He showed up at the woman's home a few days later with vengeance on his mind:

On Saturday, the woman spotted Carranza-Ramirez outside her home despite a protective order issued by the court requiring him to stay 1,000 feet away, KCPQ reported.

"He was just at a distance, just like staring at me,” the woman said, KIRO reported. She called 911 to report his violation of the protection order but Carranza-Ramirez ran away.

About 9 p.m. Sunday, Carranza-Ramirez returned as she took her service dog for a walk and attacked her, knocking her out of her wheelchair and choking her, The Seattle Times reported.

She suffered cuts, bruises, seizures and a concussion before a passer-by intervened and Carranza-Ramirez fled, according to the publication.

Advocates for illegal immigrants claim there is no criminal problem with illegal aliens, yet we have had multiple examples of this nature. How much are we willing to tolerate in the interest of feeling good about ourselves as welcoming people?

Also, nine months for raping a woman?  That is a vile miscarriage of justice, to put it mildly. The judge in this case should be impeached and removed from the bench.

Handicapped people are a group that has been part of the Democratic coalition, but in that coalition some are more equal than others. The handicapped are less important than illegal aliens, because the alien invaders offer the road to power to the Democrats and a way to fundamentally change America from what it had been, which they think was abhorrent, into a new nation, with new people, ones more easily malleable. So a handicapped mother can be raped and threatened and little is done because she is of less value than the rapist, at least from a politically correct perspective.

Dems Vote to Let Drag Queens Compete as Women

Timothy Birdnow

House Democrats voted to amend the Civil Rights Act to include "sexual orientation and gender identity” , paving the way for "transgendered" people to sue Christian bakers and whatnot. Oh, and to allow men to compete against women in sporting events.

According to The Daily Caller:

The Democratically controlled House of Representatives voted Friday 236-173 in favor of the Equality Act, which would require schools to include male athletes who identify as transgender girls on female sports teams.

Eight Republicans crossed party lines to vote for the bill, which had unanimous Democratic support.

The bill amends the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to make "sexual orientation and gender identity” protected characteristics under federal anti-discrimination law.

Among other things, that would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls.

As Courtney Kirchoff points out at Louder with Crowder:

Democrats hate women. Change my mind.

The reason rabid feminists chant and screech "Women can do anything men can do” is because, as young women and girls, women are treated to some pretty gross behavior by mean young men and boys. It’s just a fact that girls lack the physical strength of boys. It’s science. But too many nasty boys take that area of physical superiority and apply it across life, telling girls they’re not as good as boys in anything. It’s damaging, it’s terrible, it’s vicious. What results is usually girls who grow into women with chips on their shoulders eager to knock men down. If you ever wondered.

Now Democrats have essentially told girls that men are just as deserving of what belongs to women.

And what happens when girls, who feel sleighted by this usurpation, become radical feminists? They vote Democrat, and reinforce the very "woke" ideology that has screwed them over in the first place. It is an assembly line for Progressivism.

Boys who think they are girls are no such thing. They have greater muscle mass, are quicker and stronger. Whenever "transgendered" compete with regular girls they obliterate them. This is patently unfair and unnatural.

It reminds me of the old joke "I can lick any girl in this place"? In the pre-hypersexualized era lick meant beat up, not the current sexual entendre.

What used to be jokes, what used to be something people thought ridiculous and diseased is now beloved and cherished by the Left, and we are told we must accept it, even celebrate it, or we are evil people. Fair is foul and foul is fair.

America is declining faster than Beto O'Rourke's polling numbers.

Latest Silly Claim; Global warming to end Fish and Chips

Timothy Birdnow

This is downright silly; a Yahoo News UK article ]darkly warns that Global Warming is going to be the end of fish and chips, along with Brexit.

From the article:

Researchers fear fish and chips could soon be wiped off menus around the world - thanks to global warming.

It’s because larger marine species, including cod and haddock, face extinction due to rising water temperatures and a drop in oxygen levels in our seas.

We’ve already been warned a no-deal brexit could lead to a chippy crisis but apparently an indepth research project has revealed the shortage could become permanent.

I guess these brilliant experts don't realize that fish can, uh, swim, and if waters are too warm they will simply go where it is cooler. Oh, and there is little warming in the seas, according to Argo probes. Oh, and we haven't had any statistically significant planetary warming since 1995, anyway.

They go on to quote a "physioechologist" which is likely code for an activist who claims Antarctic sea life is shrinking because of declining oxygen levels. First, Antarctic sea life has little to do with fish and chips.which are species found in the north. Second, global warming is NOT causing a decline in ocean oxygen; that is just plain dopey. Increased oxygen ultimately produces more plankton, which increases the oxygen supply in the ocean. Yes, sometimes a bloom depletes oxygen in an overly dense locale, but that is not an ocean-wide thing.

These people have completely gone off the rails.

Notice how they link these things together; Global Warming is tied to Brexit. The Left created this thing for political ends, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool or liar or ignorant.

AOC doesn't know in from out - thinks alien invaders are comparable to Holocaust Victims

Timothy Birdnow

Alexandria Occluded Cortex compares the invasion on our southern border to the Nazi Holocaust.

"They are concentration campus," she said during an Instagram live feed.

"I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that ‘never again' means something, and the fact that concentration are now an institutionalized practice in the home of the free is extraordinarily disturbing," she continued.

Ocasio-Cortez falsely claims Trump is operating concentration camps, compares the situation to the Holocaust: "The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are. … ‘Never Again’ means something … we need to do something about it" pic.twitter.com/F2MmZ8y2dT

Yeah; all those Jews came pouring into Nazi Germany from all over the world and then were put into concentration camps.

This dim witted woman can't see the difference between people trying to get IN and people trying to get OUT.

This is what passes for leadership these days.

Greitens Prosecutor's PI Indicted

Timothy Birdnow

William Tisaby, the former lead investigator for St. Louis District Attorney Kim Gardner in her successful witchunt to bag Former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, has been indicted for perjury.

According to the Kansas City Star:

William Don Tisaby, 66, a private investigator, was hired by St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner to assist in a probe following allegations that Greitens took a partially nude photograph of a woman without her consent while they were having an affair in 2015. The woman was allegedly bound and blindfolded when the photo was taken, and she says he threatened to release it if she ever spoke about the affair.

Gardner charged Greitens with invasion of privacy.

But the charge was dropped when Greitens’ defense team accused Tisaby of perjury and said it planned to call Gardner at trial as a witness.

Tisaby was hired and payed with public funds despite the fact that Gardner had full access to St. Louis police detectives. She didn't want a public paper trail of what she was doing. Tisaby withheld evidence, altered testimony, and perjured himself in court. He was just the tip of the iceberg.

The article continues:

Under oath, Tisaby maintained that he had not taken notes during an interview of the alleged victim, nor asked her substantive questions. A video of the interview, which Gardner claimed did not exist due to malfunctioning equipment, showed otherwise when it was handed over by Gardner’s office the day before Greitens’ lawyers sought to compel Gardner to produce the video in court.

During his deposition, Tisaby said he would return to his hotel room over a two-hour lunch break to check his laptop for notes and reports. Upon returning, he first said he checked his laptop, then he said he didn’t have his laptop.

He also stated he did not talk to Gardner during the break. However, over the course of at least seven phone calls, including conference calls with others, the two were on the phone for at least 34 minutes of the two-hour lunch break, according to the indictment.

Kim Gardner herself was on a vendetta to take out Greitens, who was certainly pervy but not guilty of any crime. In fact, the whole case rested on a picture of the woman Greitens was accused of illicitly photographing, and it turned out the Prosecution did not have any such photo. But it didn't stop Gardner from pushing forward - and not telling the defense in Discovery. Gardner personally met with the "victim" who had been having an ext extra-marital affair with then candidate Greitens, to convince the woman to cooperate in charging the Republican Governor. They met in a sleazy motel in Illinois to discuss the case, in violation of ethical and legal standards.

Governor Greitens, faced with impeachment by his own party, resigned from office. He had an agreement that he would resign and in return would not pursue any sorts of ethics charges against the prosecturor. But nothing was said about Tisaby.

I wrote about the gross legal violations of the Dlistrict Attorney and her stooge at American Thinker at the time. See here for the article.

While Greitens may be restricted in going after Gardner, there is no reason why another prosecutor - or a grand jury - can't. Gardner belongs in prison. She ran because she was angry black criminals were going to jail, and she was one of George Soros' Prosecuting Attorneys Project beneficiaries.

Dolezol Dykes Out

Timothy Birdnow

Rachel Dolezol, the phony black woman, has now "come out" as lesbian.

Am I the only one who thinks Rachel will turn herself into any sort of minority to get ahead? Maybe she'll claim to be a Bigfoot next, or start walking on her hands like that Kurdish family in Turkey.

She is where Progressivism will take us.
