President Trump jumped the shark today, signing the omnibus bill giving the Democrats everything they wanted and more, and largely shafting the base.
The bill funds Planned Parenthood. It funds NPR and PBS, It funds all manner of dark and evil things - to the tune of 1.3 TTrillion dollars!
According to Freedom Works:
"The process for the omnibus that Congress will consider this week has not been open or transparent, and it's highly unlikely that any amendments will be allowed. Members will be given a bill tonight and likely have less than 36 hours to read and absorb it before they vote on it Thursday."
End excerpt.
In fact the bill was over two thousand pages, and no doubt members of Congress just voted the way they were told by leadership.

McMaster OUT. Bolton IN as National Security Advisor. I've been telling the president for months that McMaster had to go!
Man, it's nice to be appreciated! And that position doesn't require Senate confirmation, so there'll be no problem. Of course, the media is already freaking out. . .

This courtesy of College Fix:
A lecture scheduled for next month at Columbia College in Chicago will examine the topic of "whiteness in decline†and look at how whites’ current social position has led to a "resurgence of white supremacy.†The lecture, titled "Whiteness in Decline: The Emotional Politics of White Nationalist Resurgence,†will take place April 12 and include a presentation from professor Paula Ioanide of Ithaca College in New York. Ioanide’s remarks will touch on the "imagined and real losses in entitlements white Americans have come to expect and the ways these connect to the resurgence of white nationalism,†according to an online description of the event. "Ioanide argues that the reactionary emotional politics of white nationalism indicate both the precarious structure of white domination and the effectiveness of racial justice movements,†a flyer for the event states. Ioanide, a professor of comparative race and ethnicity studies, did not respond to The College Fix’s request for comment regarding her upcoming talk more...

Here are a few thoughts on the Austin bomber in no particular order.
First, this youth proves a point I have been making for some time, namely, that if someone wants to murder a bunch of school children there are more efficient ways to go about it than using a gun. After Parkland we were told ad nauseum that we have to ban firearms, and yet this kid could well have murdered countless children had he targeted schools rather than random individuals. And he could have done it all without a gun. We are very fortunate that he either didn't think to do that or chose not to. Any would-be school shooter could make explosives and walk right into a school to deliver the bomb. It is easy, and, as this case shows, it can be done with household items. Why spend hundreds of dollars on guns and ammo when you can spend maybe thirty bucks and take out a lot more people? more...

A smart man learns from his mistakes, an intelligent man learns from other's mistakes. Don't know where that leaves liberals.
Stupid liberals, we have tried it and it doesn’t work.

As usual Dr. Williams does not disappoint.
From the article:
"Gun ownership is not our problem. Our problem is a widespread decline in moral values that has nothing to do with guns. That decline includes disrespect for those in authority, disrespect for oneself, little accountability for anti-social behavior and a scuttling of religious teachings that reinforced moral values. Let’s examine elements of this decline."

The NFL is soon to have some competition.
According to SI:
"harlie Ebersol, the son of longtime NBC Sports executive Dick Ebersol and director of the 30 for 30 documentary about the original XFL his father created with WWE’s Vince McMahon, announced Tuesday that he plans to launch a football league next February. (ESPN’s Darren Rovell has all the details.)
The league is called the Alliance of American Football and will feature eight 50-man teams playing a 10-game schedule that begins on February 9, the Saturday after next year’s Super Bowl."
eND EXCERPT.
Good. The NFL has become politicized and high handed, ignoring the dissatisfaction of fans in favor of their politically radicalized players, and now they should pay the price. The fact is, the NFL has enjoyed a monopoly for many years and thus football fans had to tturn to college football or do without. Now we may have a competitor to challenge the NFL hegemony.
If they avoid the pitfalls of the XFL, that is, avoid turning it into a reality show circus, and if they manage to attract good talent in both coaching and players, they could thrive. Let us hope so.

The man suspected of bomb attacks in the greater Austin area blew himself up as police closed in.
From the article:
:Authorities had zeroed in on the suspect in the last 24 to 36 hours and located his vehicle at a hotel on Interstate 35 in the Austin suburb of Round Rock, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said at a news conference. They were waiting for ballistic vehicles to arrive to move in for an arrest when his vehicle began to drive away, Manley said. Authorities followed the vehicle, which ran into a ditch on the side of the road, the police chief said.
When members of the SWAT team approached, the suspect detonated an explosive device inside the vehicle, the police chief said. The blast knocked back one officer, while a second officer fired his weapon, Manley said.
Authorities identified the suspect only as a 24-year-old white man and wouldn't say if he was from Austin."
End excerpt.
I'm not sure why they won't identify the man. Perhaps they are less confident that they got the correct one than they are letting on - or perhaps they suspect accomplices? This may have political or religious connotations. Maybe the bomber has ties to Occupy Wall Street, or is a convert to Islam? Normally they would be quick to divulge the name, especially in such a high profile case.
See video here.
P.S a Reddit poster claimed responsibility in a now deleted account He likened himself to the Zodiac killer and said he was murdering to "watch the world burn."

At last! Some action in the case. I imagine we'll learn more soon because "Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman was scheduled to discuss charges Tuesday afternoon."
Officer who fatally shot Justine Damond charged with murder, turns himself in
I'm going to bet that there'll be a "whitewash" article in the Strib.

Once a region, a state, or a group of people becomes racially obsessed and prefers the culture of two rather than three classes, they turn absurd. Soon they stop listening to reason and fall into predictable mythologies of cultural superiority, regional chauvinism, and ultimately secession as proof of their moral supremacy.
What follows next never ends well.

A student in Ohio was suspended from school for refusing to join the anti-Second Amendment protests in Washington.
From the article:
"A high school student in Hilliard, Ohio, didn’t want to pick sides in the contentious gun debate surrounding Wednesday’s "National Walkout,†so he stayed in class instead of joining the largely anti-gun protest or an alternative "study hall.â€
Hilliard Davidson High School senior Jacob Shoemaker was then reportedly slapped with a suspension.
The student argued that divisive politics have no place in America’s schools and he refused to take sides in the debate, according to the Associated Press."

A shooter at Great Mills High School in Lexington Park critically injured two fellow students on Tuesday morning in what was shaping up to be another mass murder spree. A school marshall shot the little love child and he has died.
From Reuters:
"The school day had barely begun when the student, who has not been identified, shot a male student and a female student at Great Mills High School in St. Mary’s County before the campus security officer intervened, county Sheriff Timothy Cameron told NBC’s Washington affiliate.
The two victims were in critical condition at hospitals.
The officer was not harmed, and the public school’s roughly 1,600 students were later escorted off campus by police, classroom by classroom, to reunite with their parents at another high school."
End excerpt.
Let us all pray for the two students who were injured.
This goes to show the efficacy of armed security personell protecting our school kids. Since there was an adult on site with a firearm who was willing to use it this situation failed to escalate. Had this been another liberal "gun free zone" there would have been many more dead children.
Thank God for a gun on campus.

Facebook allowed Obama to use their data in the 2012 election cycle, according to an Obama staffer.
From Breitbart:
" They came to office in the days following election recruiting & were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn’t have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side.
— Carol Davidsen (@cld276) March 19, 2018
In a series of tweets, Davidsen that Facebook was "surprised†that the Obama campaign was able to "suck out the entire social graph†(the "social graph†is an individual’s network of friends on Facebook), but did nothing to stop them once they found out.
Facebook was surprised we were able to suck out the whole social graph, but they didn’t stop us once they realized that was what we were doing.
— Carol Davidsen (@cld276) March 19, 2018
Davidsen also linked to a talk from 2015 in which she explained how Facebook’s privacy policies in 2012 allowed them to harvest data on friend networks across America.
End excerpt.
Yet now Fakebook climbs on their high horse because a conservative billionaire legally used some information - and that before he even threw his support to Donald Trump.
Back when Obama did this the media marveled at his skill and ingenuity. Now that the dog has bitten them, they don't like it. That's the trouble with dirty dealing; so often it cuts both ways.
