I reply:

The Russians are used to the cold weather. This isn't Napoleon's Frenchmen, or Hitler's Wehrmacht. Remember, the cold will effect the Ukrainian army equally.

Bear in mind the Russians are already there; they aren't marching trooops across open country.

Not good news for Ukraine. Not good at all. Colder weather means less mud and that means better ground conditions for the Russians to maneuver.
