Will China have a Queen after Xi? No, not that kind of queen, but a female ruler to replace Xi when the time comes. The rumors of Xi's failing health are no longer rumors. His trip here saw him requesting a private bathroom for himself and his wife as well as cutting short an event at the National Archives due to the stairs he had to climb. Following this, his trip to India had meetings cut short and a no show at a stand up meeting. Upon return to China he was hospitalized for several days after which a transition team was formed of mostly family members said to be led by his wife who will most likely replace him. One of the main reason for this is the real fear is that should someone else be put in power the entire family could be disappeared. With Chinas economy in free fall,30 million college graduates with no jobs or future, panic buying of gold, the social net on the verge of collapse and having to resort to AI to find those not paying their fair share and "encourage"participation its time to pop the popcorn and sit back and watch the show.

Interesting ideas! It's true that all is not well in China. As Trump might say, "We'll just have to wait and see."

Interesting indeed. The power struggle could be ugly and bloody too. Everything is in flux right now and I how it will turn out but things are spinning like a top and it could turn ugly at any time.
