We all suspected it to be true but now we know.
Shocker: Soros-Backed Tides Foundation Funding Wikipedia
Wikipedia is horribly biased and when a conservative tries to edit any wrongful information his edits are removed - even from top people in their field. S. Fred Singer used to complain bitterly about how his climate edits were simply removed, even though he was one of the most respected climatologists in America but he disagreeed with tha alarmist view. He didn't remove the alarmism from the article, just added some solid science.
And Wikipedia always comes up in the first position when doing a Google search. It's CROWD SOURCED which means it's hardly an authoritative study of facts, yet it is always at the top and the average person just looks at Wikipedia and nothing else. (I know my oldest brother does that.)
After reading about this Elon Musk deccided to launch Grokpedia, a competitor to Wikipedia. I doubt Google will give it a high rating, meaning few will see it.
Zero Hedge points out:

Yeah; a real reliable source of imformation!
The AI sources that are now available pull information heavily from Wikipedia and other Left-wing operations. Musk is simply trying to balance them out.
Control of information is the way the Left has risen to holding America and the world in thrall to their insane beliefs. They have power over information that the most despotic tyrants could only dream of, and they can control the thinking of the masses without a huge espionage state, but rather just by pretending they are independent entitites while all ships sail in the same direction. Wikipedia and Google are two cornerstones of that power.
God bless Elon Musk!

Partly because of Musk I have been toying with the idea of opening a Twitter/X account; the only thing stopping me is that awhile back I had a Parler account and found it to be a huge time suck. And I doubt that on X I could actually contact some of the high-power people whom I'd really like to influence -- for example, I'd like to contact Greg Gutfeld and tell him that Jessica Tarlov is really pulling the quality of discourse on "The View" way down every time she opens her yap. I could tell him that, but he wouldn't listen.
