Why Ukraine?

Timothy Birdnow

On Facebook Jonathan Maud Cawthorrn asks:

2 questions:

1. What is our national interest in Ukraine?

2. What is our endgame? When do we decide and on what basis to go home or go nuclear?

Gerald Lee replies:

First it was money ( 100 billion so far not counting weapons and munitions) then weapons and ammunition followed by armored vehicles and now tanks!
How long before we have " advisors!" inside Ukraine? There already in Eastern Europe training Ukrainian troops.
History is starting to repeat itself. Cause this slow crawl to war by Biden is very similar to how LBJ got us involved in Vietnam.

I reply:

Jonathan Mod Cauthorn Great questions all. We DID promise Ukraine we'd defend them when we convinced them to turn in their nuclear arsenal. So we do owe them that. Certainly Russia would never have tried this had Ukraine still had nukes.

But the Ukrainian government is a puppet regime of the U.S. to begin with - we had the CIA foment the "Orange Revolution" which kicked out the pro-Russia Yueshchenko. The CIA installed Yanukavitch and a puppet government which immediately crawled into bed with the Clintons and Bidens. They worked to help Hillary try to undermine Donald Trump in the runup to 2016. https://www.congress.gov/116/meeting/house/110331/documents/HMKP-116-JU00-20191211-SD1332.pdf and supplied dirt to the Clinton camp. https://www.grassley.senate.gov/news/news-releases/tbt-dnc-consultant-reportedly-sought-dirt-trump-ukrainian-government

And with our backing they began a series of provocations, like the toadie of a schoolyard bully. The dammed the Dneiper river, cutting off water to Crimea and causing a permanent drought. They regularly shelled Crimea. They took steps to either cut off Russian pipelines or threatened to do so. And they continued the post-Soviet biological weapons labs (which had been created by the U.S. to dispose of the long-gone Soviet biological weapons arsenal) for unclear reasons (and now we've seen what happened in Wuhan it seems likely it was for gain of function research and maybe even biological weapons.)

Joining NATO and the E.U. was a bridge to far for Russia. Putin and company feared anti-ballistic missile tech deployed there, right next door to them.

We are no longer so much fulfilling our promise to Ukraine as protecting our colony. And laundering vast sums of cash for the Democrats. How much has been returned to the DNC?

And what is our endgame? Kicking the Russians out, or occupying the country? The Russians are not going to leave, not without some token to show they didn't fail. That is absolutely vital to Putin and to the Russian People themselves. They feel they were humiliated by the West in the post-Cold War anyway. Rubbing their noses in defeat would leave a festering wound similar to twhat the Germans had post WWI.

A negotiated settlement is absolutely vital, and the one thing this current lawless American junta refuses to address. The endgame will be DIRECT American involvement, no question in my mind.

It's a geopolitical strategy and coming from the good people at Davos. They want to create a world governing system. They want profits. They want Russia out of the way as Russia forms a power block of it's own that is not playing ball with the international order. It also has oil and gas and THAT must be eliminated to promote the "renewable energy" schemes that will ensure societal control. They want to push Putin out and the other Russian oligarchs and bring Russia into the fold of subservient E.U. type nations. Right now Russia is a wild card and they can't have that.

What I think the Biden junta and WEF want is to exhaust Russia. They are hoping that Russia will be exhausted fighting a conventional war. They may well escalate but want to stay below the threshold of nukes.

Of course Putin could use nukes tactically and dare us to respond. What would we do? Especially if combatants only are killed?

It's a game of chicken.

But Putin didn't get there the same way as did Biden. He had to claw his way to the top, and he's not going to go into a spider hole. He cannot afford to lose this. There are people who say "I don't care about Putin" but we should; Putin probably has sole control of the nukes there (the old Soviet protocols were for the old Soviet arsenal and Putin built the new system that is currently in place - one larger and more modern than our own)

And If we push Putin the edge he will not hesitate to take whatever action he deems necessary. Sun Tzu admonished generals to leave their enemies a golden road to retreat. We need to have an out for Putin. Biden and the rest are giving him none. That cannot end well.

Meanwhile we are exhausting OUR military arsenal, opening the door to China. How long before the Chicoms move against Taiwan, or worse? They may well move into Siberia if they think the Russians will be unable to stop them. I'd be very, very nervous were I India.
