So what happens if someone is assassinated today? While Trump would be the logical target, Harris would be equally attractive to the Left if they believed they were going to lose.  I can imagine an insistence on postponing the election until the Democrats could get a new candidate. It would be a most attractive prospect if they had internals showing they would lose even with all their cheating.

Logically they would replace her with Tampon Tim, but he is as much a part of the Democrat's problem as is Kamala. Biden could offer to serve again, but that wouldn't be a lot of help either.

No, if that were to happen the Democrats would push a postponement of the elections and Biden would sign whatever emergency order was necessary and the GOP would fear stopping them.

Do I think this will happen? No. Do I want it to happen? Absolutely not! But it's an insane idea  that actually does make some sense from a purely bare-knuckle politics. The Democrats care about nothing but power these days.

Just something to keep in mind on this eve of the most important election in our lifetime.
