White Men Need Not Apply at State

Before she was a Supreme Court justice, in 2001 already, Sonya Sotomayor claimed that a "wise Latina†judge would tend to "reach a better conclusion than a white male.†Now we’re hearing this prejudiced sentiment from many quarters. The latest is from Joe Biden’s (handlers’) State Department, where appointees have decried "white male dominated†diplomacy as leading to "systemic racism.†They essentially assert that minorities and women would do a better job.

Yeah Dana; it's easy to armchair quarterback, isn't it!
I learned a long time ago that any job is done a certain way for a reason and that often you think you could do it better but find out why your predecessor does it that way by screwing up. That doesn't mean things can't be fixed - Trump showed that our system is broken, for instance - but it does mean that it's easy to be a critic.
"Multiculturalism" is not a fix for a problem. Race has never been the issue here. In fact, multiculturalism means promoting the less qualified because of their race, meaning you get poorer people.

Got THAT right, Brother. In fact, one of the easiest ways to screw up in a new job is to announce -- loudly, of course -- "We're going to change this procedure." THAT'S when you suddenly learn why it's being done the way it's being done. No, I didn't learn that the hard way but I watched a pushy broad do it.
