I just heard too much Whiteness doesn’t mean that you have too much Americanness .
White People think they own America .
This is from a NY Congressman.
Tim adds:
Who settled the country? Who fought the Revolution? Who wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution? Who fought the War of 1812, or the Civil War? Yes, there were people of color throughout that, but the vast majority of what we consider "Americanness" came from dead white guys.
Again, there were great contributions from "people of color" throughout our history but the fact is what the Left now calls "whiteness" was the core of America and only came to be a pejorative in the last couple of years as it is a way of backdoor destroying this country. This is clearly an attempt to throw out the baby with the bathwater.
America has done so very much for so very many. The whole world wants to come here and live among us. That isn't true in any African nation, certainly. "Whiteness" is ill-defined, but we must assume it means the culture, traditions, history, and way of thinking and living that was the foundational principle of America. The two are intertwined. And it appears "blackness" is a counter-cultural thing; black people who seek to succeed by following the rules of Americanism are "Uncle Toms" and "acting white". So it is not really about race at all but a worldview and culture that is used to be dominant and made America the envy of the world.
Now we are going to impose a new culture, a new heritage, one more in line with the hellholes in other parts of the world. Yeah; that'll work out just fine!

I had an argument with a guy who insisted Jesus was black. I quoted multiple scriptures, talked about the ethnic heritage of Abraham and the rest. Didn't matter. He believed what he wanted to believe and that was that. Said the modern Jews are all Ashkenazi, but that the original Jews came out of Africa. I pointed out that Abraham was from Ur in Mesopotamia, and he had some crazy obscure argument. How do you debate someone who simply rewrites the Bible and uses his rewrite as "proof"?
