The south Florida judge who signed the warrant authorizing the FBI raid on the Trump home had defended pedophile white slaver Jeffrey Epstein and his minions, keeping two of his top aides out of jail and allowing Epstein himself to avoid a lengthy prison sentence.
Reinhart left the South Florida US Attorney's Office with effect on January 1, 2008, and the next day started working for Epstein's associates.
While awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, Epstein was found dead in August 2019 in the Manhattan Correctional Center of an apparent suicide. Epstein had a team of top attorneys on his side, including former independent counsel Kenneth Starr.
The Herald reported in 2018 that Reinhart was later named in a civil lawsuit that claimed he had switched sides during the Epstein investigation, violating Justice Department policies, and that he had done so in order to curry favor with the infamous defendant.
Reinhart insisted that since he was not a part of the federal investigation into Epstein, he did not have access to inside information about the case in a 2011 affidavit in which he denied any wrongdoing.
I find it interesting that Ken Starr's name appears here. Starr, you may remember, is the prosecutor who screwed up the Clinton impeachment. In fact, Starr focused solely on Monica Lewinsky (and ignored other interns Mr. Clinton was boffing) and making it about sex allowed the Democrats to paint this as a puritanical witch hunt rather than a serious criminal investigation. Mr. Clinton was guilty of perjury, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering and so pleaded in court later on. But Starr failed to really push that end of things. It was as if he was trying to fail. And he asked the Lewinsky investigation be tacked onto his Whitewater investigation. That made it look like a witch hunt.
At any rate, this tie to Epstein brings up a new motivation for this raid. What does Donald Trump know about powerful figures associated with Epstein? Does he have records that would destroy a bunch of insiders? Was that what they were really looking for here?
Trump would have been wise to take such records; he needed an insurance policy.
These people are playing for keeps.
I would add that there are multiple political reasons for this raid; 1.to keep Trump from running again 2.to frighten off anybody who would be crazy enough to work for Trump 3.to remove Trump as symbolic head and leader of the movement that coalesced around him, (remember the Tea Part collapsed because there was no identifiable leader) 4. to rally the troops for the next election (they needed some red meat to toss to the radicals to keep them on board.) Now perhaps we have a new motive. Maybe Trump was holding an ace.
Going after Trump over Federal documents is clearly a pretext. I would remind everyone that Hillary Clinton wiped her server with Bleachbit, a server under subpeona by Congress. Nothing even remotely comparable was done to her. And she and her husband stole a bunch of historical dishware from the White House when they left. Oh, and their staff vandalized the computers there, removing all the W's from the computers. And Hillary "disappeared" the Rose Law firm records. And they had Sandy Burger steal a bunch of classified documents from the archives, stuffing them down his pants and then hiding them in a construction site. But nothing happened to either Clinton or Burglar.
The FBI does not raid the homes of former Presidents over documents - especially documents which he has the authority to declassify. The law is aimed at underlings, not the President himself.
Newt Gingrich thinks this is a Hail Mary pass, an act of desperation by the ruling junta. Perhaps. But then, it might have been a carefully calculated assault. After all, they know the media will spin this and in a short amount of time the public will forget - or think it justified. That is the power of the press, a press no longer in opposition to power but a tool of that power.
At any rate, it was a disgraceful display and we are going to learn about some really dirty undercurrents to all of this.
Oh, and do not discount the possibility the FBI was there to plant evidence against Mr. Trump.
It's odd; we hear nothing from the Defund the Police people now. They have told us for years now that the police are corrupt and abusive, and now we have a clear-cut case of abuse of power by our national police force and we are supposed to believe they are pure and humble of heart, just servants of blind justice. Even though the FBI lied repeatedly about Donald Trump and spied on him, promoting a Hillary Clinton campaign attack piece as genuine evidence of wrongdoing and using that to get a FISA warrant to spy on the then-candidate Trump. (Robert Mueller, for example, clearly committed perjury in his efforts to get Donald Trump. So did Louis McCabe.)
And James Comey stole a bunch of classified documents after he was fired as head of the FBI, and there was no raid on HIS home. Comey admitted he stole the documents so he could leak them to trigger a special prosecutor to investigate Mr. Trump.
That is what passes for law enforcement these days.
And don't get me started on the treatment of Hunter Biden. The FBI plotted to call the accusations against Hunter "Russian misinformation" while knowing full well that was untrue. There was no effort to seize Biden's laptop or any other documents. Biden's laptop was chock full of evidence of influence peddling, pay for play, and a host of other corruptions that go all the way to "the big guy".
We now live in marxist state where those who fail to hold power are destroyed. This isn't America.
So now we have another possible motive for this raid. And a very vile one to boot. How many people in Washington flew on the Lolita Express? Stayed at Slave Island?
What does Donald J. Trump have on them?

I still wonder why those Fibbies had to go through Melania's stuff, unless the FBI has become like the military and full of trannies.

I think they may have hoped. This was a fishing expedition. And it was harassment, and a way to show people - especially young, ambitious types - that there was no future in siding with Mr. Trump.
