1 Time for us to bring back public hanging or firing squads for political murders. I think they might discourage such things.

2 I completely agree. We used to do that and it was effective. I would like to borrow from the French and bring the guillotine out of retirement, personally.There's a lack of dignity in losing your head that makes it a frightening prospect.

3 Naw, that head-chopper's so French. Hanging is American and dates way back. The only problem is too many people use the wrong term and say that somebody was "hung" when they really mean he was "hanged." "Hanged" is pejorative, "hung" is complimentary.
