Here's how the Russians dealt with the problem.

There are so many reasons for this war in Ukraine. It is not solely aggression by Russia.

Granted, were I Ukrainian I would cut the water off to Crimea too; the Russians invaded and stole the region.

Here is a story about the Obama-era interference with the Ukrainian government and how it relates to the current crisis. Recommended reading.

In 2013, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych rejected an IMF loan and EU association agreementbecause he claimed the loan would hand over control of Ukraine’s natural resources and increase the cost of living for the Ukrainian people.

In response, a highly organized western-backed color revolution led by U.S. government officials was immediately deployed against Yanukovych.

U.S. organizations such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), an infamous CIA-front, trained activist journalists to utilize social media, funded television stations supporting the protest, and bussed in large numbers of protestors from out of town.

NED recently deleted its records of funding projects in Ukraine, but the archived web pages can be found here.

When President Yanukovych was asked about relevant U.S. communications during the time, he replied, "My highest level contact was Vice President Biden. We had frequent phone conversations, but the problem was that Mr. Biden said one thing, but they did different things in Ukraine.”

Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was caught on a leaked phone call planning Ukraine’s new government, where she can be heard saying, "I think Yats [Arseniy Yatsenyuk] is the guy” and discussing how to "glue this thing.” Nuland mentioned Svoboda’s Tyahnybok as one of the leaders they were working with.

The phone conversation revealed the highest-ranking U.S. official who ostensibly represented the Obama administration in Ukraine, and the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, clearly plotting a coup d’état from within the U.S. embassy against a foreign country’s duly elected president.

Less than one month after the audio leaked, Yatsenyuk became the next prime minister of Ukraine.

I do not agree with everything here, not by a long shot. And quoting Oliver Stone? C'mon MAN!

But he's right; we did promote the coup, and it was for commercial and ideological intersts of the Ruling Class and not for the benefit of the Ukrainian People, nor for the greater geopolitical value.

That said, I do not necessarily think it was all bad. But we had no actual interests there that justified our involvement.

After that the Democrats used Ukraine as their personal piggy banks, and it was the Ukrainians who helped the Democrats in their war against Donald J. Trump.

The media gives the American People very little background on what is happening there.
