Was the Press Dinner Assassination Attempt a Deep State Plot?

Timothy Birdnow

New, enhanced video makes the attempt on President Trump's life by the Press dinner shooter look more and more like a plot by the Secret Service and government agents.

J.R. Dunn, about as far from being a conspiracy theorist as you can get, dishes:

The perp, Cole Thomas Allen, did not come running around a corner toward the security cordon, as appeared to be the case in the unenhanced imagery. He emerged from a room (or hallway) opening up on the corridor about twenty feet back from the agents were gathered. There, he evidently readied his shotgun, a Mossberg Maverick, which he had smuggled in under his coat. It was equipped with a folding stock, which he needed to unfold and lock.

A K-9 agent (or cop – he was in uniform) stood in the doorway watching this procedure while doing absolutely nothing about it. His dog enters the room, but the agent brings him back out then turns and walks away. Cole Allen burst out and raced down the hall only a second later.

When Cole Allen appeared, several of the uniformed personnel standing against the wall, visible in the upper center, turned and fled a substantial distance down the corridor. This was visible in the original clip, but enhancement has given it a lot more significance.

This sounds like much more than lax security or mistakes.

I hadn't thought this was suspicious until reading this. Now I think it was allowed to happen.

The first two assassination attempts against Trump were suspicious to me - especially the first. But I didn't think this was. Not so sure now.

A lot of people in the comments section wondered why the Left isn't sending in professionals who would kill the President. That's easy; professionals would look - professional. It would be obvious who did it. Now the powers that be who are trying to kill Mr. Trump need to have an amateur, one easily dismissed, to do the deed. And I'm not even sure they want Trump dead so much as scared - and more importantly have his people scared for their own safety. Get them to quit and make Trump powerless, without a decent staff.

It's why they went after Richard Nixon's people before coming for him; they drove away all support for Nixon. They've been trying to do that with Trump for years now and almost succeeded. A LOT of former Trump supporters turned traitor.

I once posted up a chapter from a CIA handbook about assassinations and it admonished to use amateurs whenever possible.

Sooner or later they will succeed at killing President Trump, or injuring him badly enough where he will have to step aside. He MUST take these threats more seriously.

He doesn't seem to be and that, I fear, is a kind of hubris that comes from the previous failures; he thinks he's bullet-proof. But he may learn the hard way he's not.

I'm not sure why Trump doesn't get a more competent head of the Secret Service and clean house there. But he desperately needs to do so.

Oh, one more thing (in my best Columbo voice); the Left uses Trump's seeming nonchalance as proof he staged this. Why do it now and not in five months, just before the election? It would have far more political advantage then. Now it will be forgotten by election day.

1 You mention Nixon -- and he was the man who they went after, and got. Watergate was a fiction, after all.

And Nixon was MY president; but he was too strong for them, he had to be brought down.

At least they didn't kill him.

2 I agree; Nixon was not one to go along to get along and so they ruined him instead. That started the whole thing off; since then they have investigated and manufactured false scandals over every Republican President since - Reagan, both Bush's, and now Trump. That's because they know they can't win through policy and convincing America. They have to destroy their opponents. Shoot; Barack Obama never won a campaign honestly (except maybe against Romney) but always won by clearing the field through this sort of machination.
It's now part of thei DNA.

3 Yes, and they started impeachments against every Republican presidents from way back when.

I would dearly like to see the Democrat Party outlawed -- period!

4 Me too Dana. It is a hate group and should have been so listed at the SPLC, but of course they were a hate group too.
