My wife sent a strongly-worded e-mail to Walmart protesting this move. We occasionally use Walmart, frequently use Sam's Club.
I doubt one e-mail will make any difference, but I'm sure my wife isn't the only one.

Good for her! I have to go to Walmart for insulin. At $26 a vial I can't afford not to. But this makes me angry; I'm going to lodge a complaint with the management next time I am there.
BTW I got pretty angry with them the last time I went. They have a policy "only four vials per person" but I've never had a problem getting eight (which is about a month and a half given how much I use) but this last time the pharmacist refused to give it to me. She wasn't even consiliatory about it. I pointed out this was to prevent people from reselling it and I hadbeen a customer at that same store for about a decade now. Oh, and I had to buy a new television, so had hundreds in merchandise I was purchasing. Fat lot of good it did me.
So I'm pretty cheesed at them.

When I go into a local Walmart, or Sam's Club, I'm struck by the large percentage of employees who are Muslim. I haven't had any problems with them, but I have to say I wish they were somewhere else.

That's the problem with the Twin Cities I fear Dana.
We don't have that here, but we have low-class, poor service types (both white and black).
Our Muslims here are primarily Bosnians, and they aren't the strict religionists. On the other hand they are ethnic Albanian and the Albanian mafia is rampant here - the most ferocious and dangerous of mobsters; they even ran the Italian Mafia out! It's why St. Louis is now one of the worlds great human trafficking capitals. You have to lock up your daughters in this town - literally.
