Newsom signed the Stop Nick Shirley Act despite its brazen lack of Constitutionality.
It's all about waiting until the next election. Get through that and hopefully there will be a different climate that will allow Democrats to brazenly violate the law. Newsom has no idea of what to do to keep the lid on the corruption in California, but he's got to put it on the back burner. Come '28 he hopes a Democrat will be in the White House and it will be back to business as usual.
I cannot stress enough the importance of the next few election cycles.

How soon before newscum does what Russia has done. The Russian Supreme court has declared the antiwar party in Russia is UnRussian and that all antiwar candidates names be removed from the ballot. Im sure newscum can persuade Californias Supreme Court to decalre Californias Republican party UnAmerican.

Mike I'm sure he's busy taking notes on how those enlightened Russians do things. Democrats loved the Soviets back in the day too.
