1 How incredibly shameful this is! Gen. Lee was an honorable man, and if we need any proof all we have to do is read the description of his surrender to Gen. Grant at Appomattox Court House, and Grant's response. He was certainly more honorable than the kiddies we have running our military today.

And for cryin' out loud, this is all part of HISTORY. But apparently the Democrats want to erase any indication that their (still ongoing) embrace of slavery was opposed. Ever!

2 Much as the Taliban did when they took power in Afghanistan, blowing up statues of Buddha, and as ISIS did in Syria.

3 Lee was a very noble man, whether he was on the wrong side or not. He hated slavery. And he fought for the South because he was first a Virginian and he loved the Federal system we had and thought the central government had no right to invade his home. He fought for freedom as much as any other man in our history. It is disgraceful how they are tarnishing his image now.

Our current crop of military people are indeed children, unfit to polish Mr. Lee's boots.
