Unfortunate News From Timothy

Timothy has just been hit with the terrible news that his beloved wife Cathy's cancer has returned, and that it is inoperable. And she will not be able to receive radiation treatments.
So we will just have to see what her oncologist has to offer from here on in.
As far as blog postings, I will try to see what I can provide. I will certainly be open to suggestions from our many commenters, especially Bill H and Mike (please, no commercial offerings).
And prayers are greatly appreciated, for Cathy and for Timothy!

My deepest sympathy to Timothy and his beloved. I have been through the cancer journey with my wife, and I found it to be terrifying even though her oncologist was confident of the positive outcome which did eveentuate. I am so, so sorry that Tim's came to this end.

Mike, Bill, thank you guys so much for the support and concern and prayers. They mean more to me than you know.
I truly thought she'd beat this five years ago when she was first diagnosed. And she did - for five years, just long enough to give us the hope she was over it.
The bad thing about this too is that it's one of the most painful cancers there are and it keeps her from sitting; she is bedridden and will remain that way for the last days.
In many ways I am eager for her death because it will put an end to her suffering, which has been great. But it's tearing me up and I am going to take her death very hard I fear. I keep breaking out in crying jags at random times. And my mind and judgement seem impaired. But we have to soldier on.
This world can be such a cruel and horrible place.
