Ah...another reason why the powers that be seem so hell-bent on war with Russia.

War in Ukraine Offers Redemption to Maligned Intel Community in U.S.

Most of the "correct predictions" did not require expertise. Any fool knew how this would likely play out. The Russians did not have adequate troops on the border to just roll through a U.S. armed defending country.

And Putin did this by his old playbook. It wasn't exactly rocket science.

But it will be used to reclaim the secret police intel community's credibility. And divert attention from Joe Biden's many failures - high inflation, high gas prices, an open border, etc.

It's a win/win for everyone in the Ruling Class and a major loss for the average person - and especially for the Ukrainians.
