The French newspaper "Le Monde" (The World) is reporting this morning that the Ukrainian Army is retreating from Sievierodonetsk
:
"Les soldats ukrainiens ont reçu l’ordre de se retirer de la ville, où
des combats féroces ont lieu depuis des semaines." (Ukrainian soldiers
have received the order to withdraw from the city, where ferocious
combat has taken place for weeks.) Bureaucratic red tape has delayed
getting promised weapons from Western European countries. It would be a
tragedy—and an avoidable tragedy—if Ukraine loses the war not because
enough military aid wasn't sent, but because it was sent too late.
Despite what a minority of Americans (and even some so-called
conservatives) think, the war in Ukraine is very real and will very
real consequences for the United States if Ukraine loses. Nor is Joe
Biden doing NEARLY enough to help them. He's doing JUST enough to make
himself look "presidential,"
and to attempt to distract the public from his absolute failure at
everything else, and no more. His radical leftist administration really
don't give a damn about Ukraine—they probably admire Putin for having
dictatorial control in Russia.
