Joe Scarborough is out of date. California has been issuing driver's licenses to illegal residents for several years. To get a driver's license in California you have to prove that you currently live in the state. You do not have to prove that you are a citizen the United States, or that you have legal permission to be in this country.

These days Mourning Joe probably doesn't care. But after Donald Trump has finally left the White House he'll likely get annoyed about illegal aliens again, just as he was back in 2003 -- that is, if his liver hasn't given out.

By the way, a dear friend of my wife's and mine was killed a few years ago by a trucker who had just made an illegal turn and wiped my friend out, then seriously injured the woman who was following him. If the trucker had been able to read the road signs, or understood the traffic laws, he never would have made that turn and my friend would still be with us today.
