Well, the Twitterers are right here. We don't know what's this new variant of the virus is bringing to us. So, it is better for the people to take this small precaution of wearing a mask which can actually contribute in saving lives. 4 Sorry Nate Thompson but you are monumentally wrong. Masking does little to prevent the spread of any virus. It's like trying to stop mosquitoes with a chain link fence. The only masks that have any  benefit or N95 or better, and they must  be worn properly. I have documented this repeatedly here at the website. Also, proper sanitation is required. Colds come through the eyes and so does Covid, something not being protected.

I ask you, when will it end? Ever? We have experimented with these protocols and they have proven ineffective. The states with the strictest masking and other Covid restrictions are the most heavily infected, as are the countries.

Anthony Fauci is a self-aggrandizisng lying scoundrel, but he has told the turht on a couple of occasions. Early on he said masking was pointless - he was being truthful then. The authorities obviously got to him and he got on board with the official view. Fauci  called masking a "talisman" and he was right. It's like a sacrament, wearing a crucifix or whatnot. It's purely a psychological tool to keep the public in an agitated state. Why is another matter; for some it is purely to make everyone grasp the importance of being cautious, for others perhaps something more nepharious. But in the end it is symbolism over substance.

Again, I ask; when will we return to normal? If you remember we were told these protocols would be in place for TWO WEEKS and that was to "flatten the curve" aka give hospitals the chance to get caught up. There was never, ever any suggestion this would go on for years.

This is not that dangerous a pandemic. It is no worse than the pandemic of '57 when adjusted for population growth. It does not even approach the Spanish flu, much less other epidemics (like smallpox). It REALLY isn't the Black Death.

And Omicron? ONE person died WITH Omicron (not because of it) in these United States.

What is happening at this point is the exercise of power for its own sake. It no longer is about the public health.

5 Oh, and Nate Thompson, is that how we operate in America these days? Shout people we do not agree with down and force our own fears and insecurities on others? Is it the loudest get what they want and rights and civil liberties can go to hell? That is clearly what you are arguing in favor of here.
