Well, this is precisely what I was expecting.
You really can't blow up someone's major pipeline and then express surprise that they might be planning to reciprocate.
It's lucky that we have all that moth-balled legacy coal-fired generation capacity to fall back on.
What? We blew it all up? In our quest for net zero? Well then, we'll just have to accept that with just a few key strikes on undersea infrastructure then our grid and consequently our economy would collapse:
