Turkey has recalled its Ambassador to Israel as tensions escalate in the Middle East and the war threatens to broaden.

"Blinken's visit will come after Turkey announced on Saturday that it was recalling its Ambassador to Israel.

The Turkish foreign ministry said its ambassador was being recalled for consultations "in view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians, and Israel's refusal (to accept) a ceasefire.""

Now is a time for strong leadership, something one can in no way accuse President Biden of displaying.
