One partial win and one big win for Trump on his tax returns issue. While the U.S. Supreme Court did rule that the New York prosecutor who demanded Trump's tax return has a legal right to get them, they also ruled that the returns are temporarily blocked to give the administration a chance to file for constitutional concerns. And the second ruling is a big win. The court completely blocked Congress from getting Trump's tax returns at all.
Judson Phillips adds:
I just read the decision in Trump v. Vance. The matter is going back to the US District Court, so I think the chances of the NYC DA getting the President's tax returns before the election is minimal.
