High time:
IT BEGINS: President Trump Starts Peeling Back the Zelenskyy Mask
President Trump points out that Zelensky is a dictator, having suspended elections to remain in power, and has managed to con us out of billions of dollars, half of which he cannot account for. And there is no way to win for Ukraine.
I sympathize with Ukraine, I really do, and my knee-jerk reaction was to support them over Putin, a monster. But the corporate media jumped on this, the internationalists jumped on this, and my own knowledge of the region and research told me the Ukrainians were far from blameless here, and Russia was not 100% the bad guy. We had been squeezing them for a long time, and this was their attempt to get the Western boot off their necks.
This is a far more complicated issue than everyone has been told (and a great many people - even conservatives believe). What we do know is that Zelensky has managed to put himself in power indefinitely. He's arrested political opponents. He's banned the Russian Orthodox Church. He's closed newspapers and television stations when they've opposed him. He's drafted anyone who can carry a gun. He's stacked the courts. In short, he's done exactly what Putin has done. There really isn't a dime's difference between the two men.
There really are no good guys in this conflict, and we've wasted billions on an unwinnable war. There was no exit strategy, no definition of what would be victory, no spending limits. The sole demand of the Biden Administration was total victory over Russia. I would argue this thing was a trap laid to wring Russia dry and force her into the New World Order, into the international banking and regulatory "rules based order" meaning under the thumb of Western intellectuals.
Trump is a realist; he knows the facts and he understand human nature. He gets it.
Zelensky is a con man who has managed for a time to bamboozle the whole world. But Trump is wise and is exposing him.
There will never be peace as long as zelensky is in power in Ukraine. We should cut our losses and get out now.

That war would have ended long ago without Western aid, you are right. And much of that came from USAID and was milked off by the Bidens and Clintons and who knows who else.
I strongly suspect Harris had that billion dollars to spend on her campaign because a tidy sum of Ukrainian aid was siphoned off and sent to the Democrats.
Shoot; Putin wouldn't even be in power without the Democrats, who under Bill Clinton ran roughshod over the Russians, insulting them to the point where they chose Putin just for spite. The Russian People wanted a strong leader to tell Clinton where to go.
It was the Clinton Administration that made these security guarantees to the Ukrainians in the first place and demanded they rid themselves of nuclear weapons.
Now a whole generation of young men are lost in Ukraine and that will have a profound impact on the country. Ditto in Russia. And those that are left are battle-hardened. Much like the Albanians in Kosovo, they will present a great problem for the future. The Albanians actually took over the Italian mafia! That's how ruthless they are and they got that way because of the war. We can expect the same in eastern Europe.
I agree; Europe will have to go hat-in-hand to the Russians after this. In that regard (and a number of others) Putin has already won.
This whole thing could have been headed off with even modestly competent diplomacy before it ever became a war situation. Putin saw how weak Biden was and took advantage.
