Trump Administration Cutting Abortion Funding

The Trump Administration is trying to roll back Federal funding for health clinics that make abortion referrals. From The Hill: The rule would ban clinics that receive federal money from referring women for abortions and remove the requirement that clinics counsel women on abortion as an option.
Federal law now requires the clinics to counsel pregnant women on their options, including adoption and abortion. According to multiple sources, that counseling would no longer be required, but would be optional.
The rule change would open up the door for faith-based organizations and other groups opposed to abortions to participate in the program, when they would not have felt comfortable doing so before.
The "Protect Life" rule would also ban clinics, including Planned Parenthood clinics which are a major recipient of federal dollars, from sharing spaces with abortion providers."

This is modeled on a Reagan plan, one found legal by the Supreme Court but never put into place due to the legal challenges running out the clock on the Reagan Administration. It is hard to see how the Left will block this, although they will find a pet judge to stop it anyway.
The Left is particularly nasty because they not only promote something like abortion, which is essentially infanticide, a detestable practice, but they are not content for abortion to be legal, they demand the taxpayer pay for it, or at least pay to promote it. This regulation helps to restrict that. And yes, while abortion is not directly funded, Planned Parenthood and other such groups receive money from the taxpayer for other services which frees up money to pay for abortions. It's like signing over your estate to a child or whatnot to protect it from a lawsuit or from taxes. In the end, the taxpayer is still paying for it.
That suits the Progressives just fine. Abortion is one their high holy sacraments, and the more women they convince to have abortions the better. Once they have done this deed their souls belong to the Left.
So God bless Donald Trump for this! A lot of lives will be saved thanks to this.
