The Epoch Times US Imposes 17 Percent Tariff on Fresh Tomato Imports From Mexico
On the other hand Mexican tomatoes are available before and after Arkansas tomatoes are out of season.It's going to be tough to source alternative sources of tomatoes at that time.
The Administration is socking Mexico with a 17% tariff on the fruit, which is a staple in Italian and Mexican dishes.

If only there was somewhere to grow tomatoes in the states. There is Ca. but we cant grow them there because the water needed to grow them needs to save a fish from extinction.So lets use that land to put solar panel farms that will leave the ground toxic for 500 yrs and that toxic waste will find its way to the fish and finish them off.
Unless you like tomatoes that are dry and as hard as apples grow your own.
