Three Jeers for Oprah!

This is a story most won't see as anything but a bit of hating on a rich woman. But it bespeaks a very deep dissatisfaction with what is going on in this country and bodes very ill for the Democrats - and the ruling class in general.
Oprah Winfrey took a beating on social media over her Maui relief efforts.

Fans complained they were already living "paycheck-to-paycheck,” and that the uber-rich celebrities should dole out more of their own money toward relief efforts.
"I would but I’m broke…you two got this though!” Carolina Moreno wrote in the comment section on TikTok under the August 31 video.
"Billionaire asking for money from the poor, what a joke,” another outraged fan commented on Winfrey’s follow-up video on Instagram.

People are hurting, and are sick of being called upon to clean up the messes made by those supported by the filthy rich like Ooprah or The Rock.
Ultimately this is their mess and they want us to help clean it up. Oprah supported the people and polices that made the disaster in Hawaii occur in the first place.
When the public becomes deeply dissatisfied as now something will happen. Usually that is a change in the Administration. We can only hope.
Dissatisfaction may be peaking now though, which is why the media is reporting it; they want to peak it and then ride the riptide. Or so they hope.
Still, the public is not happy.

"Normal" people don't have a lot of bucks to help clean up after the Maui mess, especially with Bidenomics' inflation. And the Maui folks are seen, rightly or wrongly, as being well-heeled enough to being able to take care of themselves.
Sorry, Oprah. There's just not a lot of charity going around right now.

Agreed Dana. And clean up for what exactly, and for whom? Oprah and her rich friends are swooping down on Maui to scoop up the land as we speak. Seems the cleanup will ultimately benefit her and her cronies.
