I remember the show All in the Family when Archie Bunker called one of Mike's friends a communist. Mike objected:
"He's not a communist, he just lives in a commune"
Archie replied:
"A person who lives in a commune is a communist".
How can Mamdani deny the logic here?

Well, Joe Biden was pushing something similar in his attempt to change zoning laws.

Yes he did. I wrote about that somewhere (can't remember if it was Canada Free Press or Tea Party Nation or whatever) at the time. Biden was just implementing a plan by Obama to overturn the Republican control of redistricting. Build big public housing in every zip code to water down GOP control of the wealthier districts. Biden almost pulled it off, too.
Archie was very wise. They made him - and his arguments which were in reality our arguments - look like a fool but he was a rare philosopher.
