Coca-Cola has no room to talk about racism or voting, for that matter. In the 1930s, Coca-Cola built it's overseas empire in full support of Adolf Hitler and his NAZI regime.
Even after the NAZIs invaded Austria, Hitler was greeted with Coca-Cola Banners with the words "Sieg-Heil!, to commemorate our deepest admiration and gratitude for our Führer who has led our nation into a brilliant higher sphere.â€
Several other American Companies also supported the Füher:
Metro-Goldwyn-M
Chase Manhattan Bank
Dow Chemical
Brown Brothers Harriman
Woolworth
Alcoa
General Motors
International Business Machines.
John Madric adds:
Because, just like now, they're able to recognize and get behind whatever movement they think will be successful. As a company, they kind of have that responsibility to their shareholders. They don't believe in this woke nonsense any more than they did in Hitler. But it was and is the better bet..
Tim adds:
And don't forget they do international business - a lot of international business - and this pleases certain foreign customers (like the Chinese). The Chinese supported the current junta in power, and they backed BLM to sow chaos and wreck the budding MAGA movement. Coke wants to ingratiate themselves with China. Also, with the Europeans who have always thought themselves America's betters on racial matters .
