The Vultures in Paris and London - and America

Timothy Birdnow

Why are all Democrats on board with the endless aid to Ukraine, even though it is decimating both the Ukrainian people and the Russians and the war would end without it?

This artice takes a good stab at that.

The author asks why Obama didn't take action when Russia seized Crimea. That, after all, was the weakness that encouraged Putin to try to take Donbas (and in Putin's case it's Dumbass, because it started a war he can't get out of). Putin saw the West was unwilling to do anything so he went to phase II and invaded Donbas and thus this five year bloody war began. But the Europeans weren't willing to step up even while they demanded we do, and vast amounts of aid flowed into Ukraine - but slowly, and it only helped Ukraine survive, not counterattack. Now they are getting weapons to allow them to counterattack, and aid to make drones. But it's too little too late and nobody is going to win this thing. Anger on both sides is too high.

I've long argued that the reason the West is doing what it is doing is they don't want Russia to lose and have a permanent grievance so much as to force her into the New World Order by sucking her dry, draining away all Russia's resources and then they will be forced to turn to the West. Russia WAS turning to the West under Boris "cocktail hour" Yeltsin, but Western companies and operators - notably George Soros - financially raped the country and Soros crashed the Russian economy. In that crucible the public voted for a strong leader - Vlad Putin, a former KGB. Putin wanted to restore Russia and create an alternate system outside of the control of the corrupt western banking and business structure. It's why BRICS was created, for example. Putin says he wants to restore the old borders of Tsarist Russia, not the Soviet Union.

But that is a distinction largely without a difference; he wanted the Ukraine back and has taken it piecemeal. Now he's running into tough, tough resistance.

Anyway the author of this piece believes the Democrats set policy solely in opposition to Trump, and nothing more. If Trump thinks we should pull back on aid to a war that will not end and wastes American money they will support said war. She's got a point.

But I think my point is better.

Now Russians are a paranoid lot and it may well be my study of them over the decades has made ME a bit paranoid as well. Many of them agree with my thinking on this, so perhaps I'm too close to the situation. But we all know there is an internationalist cabal with lots of money and prestige who support a world system - the World Economic Forum is one organization. They have been legion - the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, Renaissance Weekend, etc. etc. Their goal is a world government and international socialism and that clearly is what the Climate Alarmism is about, as well as the Covid pandemic response. They are far from all-powerful but they carry a lot of weight and I think they fund a lot of politicians, especially Democrats who advocate much of what they want. The only Republicans they support are the RINO's and long ago the old Country Club Republicans were in deep with this crowd. Rush Limbaugh used to speak about how they tried to seduce him into joining them.

At any rate I think Russia fears this as much as anything, and the Russia People are willing to tolerate a guy like Putin because they figure he will fight them. Actually he does. But he's still a bad guy and not someone to trust or support. Some Conservatives love Putin, think him our champion; think again. He is a cutthroat politician and dictator and that's what he wants for everyone. He's just old school about it, not the slimy, sneaky, underhanded Fabian Socialist method of infiltration and seduction. He just takes what he wants openly.

That kind of guy is almost as bad as the weasels in the World Economic Forum.

Now Zelensky represents the European weasels and he wants to integrate Ukraine into the New World Order. He's just as bad as Putin if not worse. There are no good guys in this fight. It's only a matter of which rotten SOB will win. My money is still on Putin, but he has to finish off the Ukraine and to do that he has to take Kiev. I don't know if Russia has the strength to do it at this point.

I thought the war of attrition would work, but didn't take the emerging drone technology into account. It would have worked in the old days. But drones are a great equalizer, as we see both in Ukraine and in Iran. They are cheap, very dangerous, and do not require any sort of expertise. You just put a guy in a chair and he plays a video game. Only the game is real and real people die.

This thing will exhaust both Russia and Ukraine and that, boys and girls, is exactly what I think the Ruling Class wanted all along. Then like vultures they will swoop in and pick the carcass clean, just as they did to Russia in the nineties.

In 1957 Isaac Asimov wrote a short story called The Gentle Vultures in which an alien race of small primate-descended beings kidnapped a human being. They explained that all large-primate descended creatures were inherently warlike and almost always came to the point of extinction because of war. Being descended from small primates (aka monkeys) the aliens in the story were inherently gentle and non-warlike and what they did was find a large-primate world on the brink of technology and war and waited to swoop in after the Big One and rebuild, and in the process take over so it wouldn't happen again. It was essentially conquest without actually having to fight. (In the story the aliens were puzzled why humanity hadn't had the Big One yet and the man told them it was because technology had advanced so quickly we feared to use our own weapons.) The man rightly referred to them as vultures. The gentle alien tried desperately to claim they were benefactors trying to help large primates survive, but the man kept calling them vultures. In the end it was too much for the aliens and they left.

As the Ruling Class are not aliens but human beings, they are not going to leave because we rightly think of them as vultures. But that is what they are and this war in Ukraine is proof of that. They don't care about the deaths and suffering; you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet after all. In their minds their golden dream of a future in which people will own nothing and be happy and in which the best and brightest will lead aka rule overrides any temporary scruples about a few dead Russia or Ukrainian people. What they are doing is more important in their minds.

Putin is more of an old time dictator and conqueror; at least I can understand him and his motivations and view of things.

At any rate this is an ideological war being fought in Ukraine and Russia as much as anything and the Left in America are making it their stand. Yes, it is opposition to Trump and the efforts to restore the America that used to be (until recently) but there is so much more at stake here. The Left understands that. Sadly too few of us do.
