So how DARE a Catholic University promote the effeminization of men when the Bible makes it quite plain this is a thing that will lead to damnation?
Catholic university tells employees to add preferred pronouns to email signatures

Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisc., recently sent an email to its employees announcing "a few small but important changes” to its email signature guidelines "to improve consistency, professionalism, and alignment with our updated university brand.”
The guidelines include telling employees not to include image files in email signatures, noting they can not only cause many technical issues but also that "most image files are not correctly labeled to meet ADA compliance requirements.”
The email, which used the subject line "ACTION REQUESTED: Updating email signatures and profile photos,” also asked employees to upload a professional photo to their profile or use a Viterbo logo for hospitality and branding purposes.
The Sept. 2 memo, sent by Viterbo’s Vice President for Marketing, Communications, and Enrollment, Erin Edlund, also gave employees an email signature template to follow that asked them to use either the Helvetica or Georgia font and included a prompt for pronouns.

She included her own pronouns of "she/her/hers” at the conclusion of the same email.
So this female/woman/xchromosomer wants to just let people decide if they are men or women or furrries or whatnot. God isn't in control; we are! It is our right to decide if we are men or women, human or animal, etc. That is what she said here.
God made them male and female, according to Genesis; there was nothing about "gender fluidity" nor about our right to choose our own gender. it's patently clear.
The article continues:
"It seems like a misguided attempt at solidarity with students—and perhaps faculty and staff as well at Viterbo University—who are experiencing gender-identity disorder (GID),” Nash said.
But he added Catholic teaching is "clear that we are made in God’s image and likeness, and that ‘male and female he created them’ (Gen. 1:26-27).”
"There’s no reason why a male faculty member should add ‘he/him’ to his university email signature, or a woman faculty member ‘she/her,’ as those are self-evident realities—or should be,” he said via email.
If for some reason said faculty member needed to add a pronoun they are free to do so, but there is no reason to impose "chosen pronouncs" on people.
I would add this university also sponsors a "pride club" aka homosexual group. And has a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Center.
Not sure where Christ or the Holy Trinity or the Blessed Virgin Mary fit in with any of this.
But, but, but.... Isn't Christianity just about love and shouldn't Christians be trying to engage with people for their salvation?
Yes. And it is love that leads the Church to gently chastise the sinner, lest he orshe or xi wind up meeting the fate in the Corinthians quote. Love often requires us to do some hard things.
There is an old adage that says "the opposite of love isnot hate but indifference" and that is very true where sin is concerned. If you love a sinner you don't just let him skip merrily to Hell. You try to save that person. It is our duty to warn them thatwhat they are doing might seem right to them ("there is a way that seems right to a man but it leads to death") but in the end it will lead to ETERNAL suffering and despair.
But of course we've stopped believing in Hell because we don't accept that God is all just as well as all merciful. We like the mercy end of it but not the judge, so we simply dismiss the judge. God becomes a rather cartoonish character who we can kick around and He'll just come back with open arms. But that isn't the case at all and just a casual observation of reality tells us God will in fact punish sins. We see the results of sin all around us, the horrible suffering and misery caused by it.
So, will Charles Manson go to Heaven? It could be argued that he didn't make himself what he was and so should be let in. That's what happens when you have simple blind love without any sort of reason attached. EVERYONE, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Waybe Gayce, etc. must be let into Heaven by this standard. Heaven wouldn't be Heaven long if that were so. It would be at beast like Earth, and actually would be more like Hell.
And this is fair because these people all had choices and chose to do evil. It's who they want to be and they are where they want to go.
It is the job of the Christian to warn those headed down this path, not to judge them but to warn them and to work to get them to repent. Paul gave us the template; he said we are to quietly speak with an open sinner and if they still won't repent bring Church elders, and if they still won't to cut them off,lest their sin infect others. Sin is a contagion, a disease.
Christianity has forgotten that and now everyone thinks it's our duty to embrace people who obstinately persist in evil and sinful behavior. As a result we no longer believe in Sin at all; it's just an "alternate lifestyle" or a phase. "God loves the Sinner" they say. But like the father of the Prodigal Son He is willing to let them go if that's what they want. It IS our job to offer love and forgiveness, but they must ASK for forgiveness first.
Does a wife forgive her husband if he has an affair? She might if he is truly repntant and cuts off the relationship. She never will, indeed cannot, if he says he's sorry but he's going to keep doing it. If she tries to keep the relationship alive despite his affair it will never work and we all know that. As the Bible says, we cannot serve two masters, nor can we be in a marriage with someone with a divided loyalty. Some things require committment.
God is like that. He does love everyone and wishes everyone would repent, but He set up the rules long before the foundations of the world were laid and if people break the rules out of weakness, or even willfully but ask forgiveness He will grant it. But how do you forgive when someone isn't sorry and plans to keep doing bad things?
This isn't that hard to understand. A glutton who eats huge amounts of food will grow enormously fat, and when such a person dies we do not think God was somehow unfair in letting the person have a heart attack. We think rather thatit was a shame the man or woman didn't get their diet under control. But they knew the risks and did nothing about it. Yes, many suffer from weight problems, myself included. Many are forever trying to lose weight, and in many cases it's not their fault exactly. We try to help them with drugs, with exercise programs, with emotional support. But in the end they have to WANT to lose the weight or they will just keep growing. That is how people wind up weighing 600 lbs and have to be buried at age 28 in a piano case. In the end we have to accept their choice. I remember a television show about morbidly obese people and the mother of such a man said it "he's committing slow suicide". But how do you stop that?
How do you deal with any of the seven deadly sins? The wrathful and sullen don't want our love. Nether do the greedy. Ebeneazor Scrooge, in A Christmas Carole, had to be shown he was going to die and go to Hell before he repented of being such a jackass. Nobody ever drew him in with kind words and content-less forgiveness.
We have free will. God gave that to us lest he be a tyrant. But there are costs with free will.
Free will came as a gift, an act of love by God. If we choose to abuse it that is our right but we must bear the consequences. God would not be loving if that weren't so.
So this idea that we are somehow more loving by encouraging and nurturing sexual immorality and a willful rejection of reality is nonsense. It's the indifferent approach, not the loving.
BTW transgenderism is essentially the sin of witchcraft; an attempt to alter reality by an expression of will. Witches use potions - trans people use hormones. Witches chant, trans chant as well. Both believe you can appeal to some sort of outside force to alter the very bedrock of reality.
That's what this woman at this allegedly Catholic university has done here. she is essentially a witch with a PH.D.

So it would be helpful on occasion. But my point was that you just add that Mr. Or Miss or Mrs. if you want to avoid confusion. I rather suspect this isn't what was happening here.

I saw a pickup truck with a sign that expressed the idea quite powerfully. It said "My pronouns are 'Eat/S**t'". Vulgar, but I'll bet the driver didn't get any arguments.
